ReplyDeleteHave gibberish with the code, too.
ReplyDeleteI think the lighte wants sth. like a seriel number?

ReplyDeleteokay, sent
ReplyDeleteno mail yet chipsi
ReplyDelete@bigtank what was she sending you? I can do it if she had to step away.
ReplyDelete@mkganda nearly have the same as you, send you mail back
ReplyDelete@chipsi I got it. Yes only one tiny difference. Phew! :P
ReplyDelete@bigtank check your mails again, I had to use another account again, don't know why I always get an delivery failed error when I try to email you. :(
ReplyDeletehmm...latin phrase maybe?
ReplyDeleteok ty got the email trying to work out what you mean now chipsi, could be a while
ReplyDeleteI tried to anagram letters to get three words but failed.
ReplyDeleteok not getting what you mean chipsi. mk please help

ReplyDeletehi smart girls!!
ReplyDeleteMonday is a busy day, so I cant even try level 43.
I saw the c**** in source, but wondering how I can to change U**
please, maybe I need a BIG hint
I'll try after returning from a collection
tks
Will be back in a few hours, left hints if you find out sth.
ReplyDeleteok struggling with the morse here. does it start awn
ReplyDelete@bigtank sorry, missed your post. Had to take a call, but I see you got it.
ReplyDelete@lulu and @bigtank sent a mail, really have to leave now.
ReplyDeletecan only put five letters in the answer box
ReplyDelete@bigtank It might, but I've got it starting with AEM. I think E and M are your W so, either one of us could be right.
ReplyDeleteok will post on here. i got .- .-- -. .. for the first four letters
ReplyDelete@bigtank Only difference with mine is instead of .-- in the second place, I just have . then -- separately, but I've been messing with the unclear spaces trying different things. Like I said, it could be either way. I'll forward mine and @chipsi's. We had a tiny difference too. This is good though. At least they're all "similar".
ReplyDeleteHI @lulu! I'm sorry I didn't say hi earlier. Got distracted. I know you don't have time to play now, but @chipsi said she mailed you. If you need more help and I'm not here, please email me and I will help. :)
is that a lighter.do we have to put something in there on the recordings page
ReplyDeleteWhat's the significance with the step number on this level?
ReplyDeletelol it reminded me of the film naked gun 33 1/3 that is all
ReplyDeletelol @bigtank me too!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm close using cryptogram solver. Got 1st and last I think. I'm almost positive we need 3 5-letter words.
see if you can recruit some of the gang we need help, lost s-t somewhere along the way. faltu was here too,
ReplyDeletehmm...maybe not. grr...
ReplyDeleteI thought it was odd that a riddle of this quality was here and we didn't have the whole gang. We need small, Ellie, Edgar, faltu, and what about jonthewatch? He starts every one almost, but then he's gone. Poof!
ReplyDeleteOkay, this lighter is a jerk! Eat my words, lighter!!! Eat them and love them! nom nom nom
ReplyDeletewhat does "at full speed" mean?
ReplyDeleteahh from tamk. i got an 8 in my first translation but disgarded it
ReplyDeletean 8? crap
ReplyDeleteyes .- .-- -. .. - then the ---.. was an 8
ReplyDeleteokay, will delete, but
ReplyDeleteawnit8...?
yes lol it made me think of fornicate
ReplyDeletewell, then those spaces weren't clear at all. I thought I heard a definite pause between --- and .., but oh well. Could be anything. Did TamK nudge you or just tell you you had an 8?
ReplyDeleteAlso, are we to enter things in the lighter? I hate that lighter. .\/. grr...
ReplyDeletegotta go for a bit. bbs
ReplyDeleteno i saw his comment on nord. so the lighter only takes 5 letters/numbers ,
ReplyDeleteok gotta go too. will try to get back tonight uf not it will be tomorrow night
ReplyDeleteI'm back, but only for a few. Bye @bigtank. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw that the lighter will only take 5, that's why I thought we needed 5-letter words. Hmm...
email to u mk. have not got time to work it out but still have the code wheel printed out, hint for everyone else, zoom in on the traffic sign, remind you of something
ReplyDeletewait! @bigtank good catch, but no link in the email! :s
ReplyDeleteok sent again sorry
ReplyDeletethis realy is a clever riddle. shame there is so few players
ReplyDelete@bigtank I agree! It's tough, but it's beautifully done and so so clever. I think I'll send an email out. It's hard coming in at this point though when you need previous levels.
ReplyDeleteyes that is true but s-t got quite far with it
ReplyDeleteWhoa...okay, I think instead of trying to apply this here, I'll work the earlier level to get the hang of it. Wish me luck.
ReplyDeletealmost there...
ReplyDeleteOkay, got letters to pick from, took a gander at them, and now I'm calling it a day. See you tomorrow! :)
ReplyDeleteHi thank you for all hints I got from you on level 43..
ReplyDelete@bigtank, @chipsi @mkganda...you're great!
Cheerss!!! trying the most Evil level, according to best riddlers...
Do I have any chance? lol
ty for your email mk. that looks good. not got time to look today got to go work. if u find the solution tonight leave big hints.
ReplyDeleteGood morning girls!! I hope fresh mind will help on 44, but I'm afraid it will not. :)
ReplyDeleteStill don't get anything usefull from morse, I found symbols on the traffic sign and now I'm searching on my desk for the wheel that must be here.
You get the serial for the lighter from the trafic sign. The lighter gives you a second morse. Combine those two and it will gives you the answer.
ReplyDeleteFor the code from trafic sign. Look at the wheel. It gives you 3 letters. Put them by 3 and "read" the code from top to bottom. Firt number is 5
ReplyDeleteThanks @riddler, have the zippo number now.
ReplyDeleteHi @chipsi :) You still here? I have most from the wheel, but I can't find 3rd one. Can you give me a hint? Maybe in xyz form?
ReplyDeleteOh, and good morning @riddler :)
ReplyDeleteHi @mkgande the third one is a letter. I took me ages till I found that out.
ReplyDeleteI have combined the two mp3 files and have solved the morse, but unfortunately it is not the answer.
Thanks, @chipsi. I thought it might be a letter, but am having a hard time seeing it. Will have another look.
ReplyDeleteOkay, got it. I think one of my sets of letters was off, but I was able to guess. :)
ReplyDeletechipsi: you have to google the words you have. Look at the name
ReplyDeleteof the step!!!
With the morse we are looking for letters & numbers in them or just letters? I was a little thrown off when I was told there was an 8 in the first one.
ReplyDeleteBe back in little while. This morse is a headache. Can someone please give me a yay or nay on the numbers in the morse? I would be much obliged. Thanks. :)
ReplyDelete@mkganda no numbers in the morse. I put both in one file on audicity, after that it was easy to see where letters and words end.
ReplyDeletepopped in and have to go again, but could you tell me how to merge the files on audacity? Thank you @chipsi!
ReplyDelete@riddler: I googled it and I know what it means but I don't understand what I am looking for.
ReplyDeletecopy and past both files in one. than select all and on folder Project choose Quick Mix.
ReplyDelete@mkganda, if you don't get it with audacity, I have sent you a mail
ReplyDeletethanks for the mail @chipsi. I can't get the copy function to work on my version of audacity. It's faded out even if I select the whole track.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I get the level title and the step #, but it doesn't want my answer. I think it's a matter of how it wants it.
ReplyDeleteGlad to be of help, now help me with the answer. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat are you looking at. I'm looking at r***** p*****s and g*******nes
ReplyDeletegot it. google step number with acronym for morse words. First result. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, will be back to work on 45 in a little bit. :)
ReplyDeleteMy first result is a wiki page. I tried title g********* r***** and v**** r******
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm back. Sending you mail. :)
ReplyDeletety @mkganda, lets have a look on 45.
ReplyDeleteHad to go again for a few, furnace issues, all fixed. Got my b*** note and my clipboard notes. So far not getting a word, but will keep trying. :)
ReplyDeletegood morning to all!...
ReplyDeleteI have read the posts and didn't see the wheel, where is it? or what is this?? lol
Hi @lulu, we used a wheel in a previous level (I think it was 40) do you remember? Use this wheel on with the signs on the traffic sign.
ReplyDeleteHi @lulu. Sent you mail. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, yes...the nice wheel...thank @chipsi
ReplyDeletetry it now
Okay, so @chipsi, what's your progress? Not much here. Are the 2 n*****s in 1st b*** r**/c***** or vise versa? Grid is 11x21 so there is a definite center, but not getting anywhere using that as start.
ReplyDeleteHmm...just had an idea
thank you too @mikganda,
ReplyDeleteI'm going to work it now...
If I get stuck, I'll scream!!...lol
I am asking me the same. I tried to start from the bottom left corner and from the center. No word for me. I am also wondering about the numbers on the first b***, why aren't numbers on the others? And what about the level title?
ReplyDeleteI think that may be a hint to what our answer word is. numbers should be starting coordinates, right? I thought for a moment that maybe we count first one X next one X back and forth, but that didn't work out either. Can't start at lower left either b/c of second direction taking us off the grid. So...I'm pretty sure it's starting spot, just haven't gotten the right word yet.
ReplyDeletewell, from marja's post on Nordinho, we know it's a pun, but I'm getting gibberish.
ReplyDeletegot it. love this stuff. yummm...
ReplyDeleteI literally guessed it right getting a few letters. Still messing with the grid though.
Okay, looking at 46 now.
ReplyDelete45,
I understand the grid now. First # is starting position. c*****/r**
b*** is landing spot. They are 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 2nd. So travel, and only pick up at your b***s. :)
Pay attention to the page title. It's not...but...
gotta go for a bit. BBS
ReplyDelete@mkganda thanx a lot gng ahead now
ReplyDelete@zephyr29 Of course! :) You'll like 45. It's cute and not too tough.
ReplyDeletehmm...stumped on 46. I saw the hint on Nord that I need to find something to do with m*** and the w**, but there seem to be a lot of things and I'm not sure which direction to take it. Maybe not google but s*****? Just don't know. :s
ReplyDelete@mkganda good job on 45!!
ReplyDeleteThanks @chipsi! :D I was so happy to get one on my own! Phew! Finally!
ReplyDelete46 is tough though. I know what I need to do, but not how. :s
I tried googling w** and m*** and s***** but had no luck. Have to go to work and leave this one for tomorrow
ReplyDeleteOkay, bye @chipsi! Have a good day!
ReplyDeletety for your mail mk. tried all sorts for 44. g...... r...... not getting it yet though
ReplyDeleteI think your r-word is right, but you need a two letter acronym before it. ;)
ReplyDeleteL* r***** I got a wiki for it as my first result in google putting step number + short version of morse results.
Oh ya, and HI @bigtank!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI really super need you on 46, hope you can stay and play for a bit.
ty tried the two words in full first . ok will try to catch up.
ReplyDeleteok trying to do 45 . struggling a bit although ther e is a good description lol
ReplyDeleteI can send you an email if you like :)
ReplyDeletei am counting 8 acrass and 77 down, first letter i pick up is n then r, is it an anagram
ReplyDelete@bigtank check your mail. Where'd the 2nd 7 come from?
ReplyDeletenever mind the second 7 just a typo, got it now, all i can say is omg. lol
ReplyDeleteno anagram. first letter should be G.
ReplyDeleteok what have we got 46
ReplyDeleteTechy stuff. I've got the start of it, but I need more.
ReplyDeleteWe need the s***** m*** of game's w****** :s
Bugged Tynka quite a bit already, so I know what it will look like...somewhat lol.
what this game ?btw did you manage to recruit anyone over to the dark side
ReplyDeletelol...no not yet. But, I tagged Ellie in a FB post inquiring how to do exactly what we need to do here, so hoping it will sound intriguing. :P
ReplyDeleteYes, this game's i* s***** m*** :(
have i*, but reading and reading the wiki on s***** m***s, but I just don't get it. grr....I'd rather try decode sound files and that's saying a LOT.
AAAAH! *pulls own hair*
ReplyDelete@bigtank Can I mail you so I can just write and not ************* my way through figuring this one out?
ok if i rememebr from another riddle you can ping to get an ip address right
ReplyDeleteok got that got the location and town etc
ReplyDeleteYa, me too. It's the dang s***** m*** I can't get.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, lol @mk... got your request! I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be of any help in this, especially since I quit quite long ago lol. I'm having a couple of busy weeks, and don't think I'd do good in any riddle game. Thanks for you'r trust anyway!!
ReplyDeleteReally, I didn't read too careful and have no idea what you're looking for, but found this: http://forums.techarena.in/tips-tweaks/1097301.htm
ReplyDeletewhich you probably found alrady.
Sorry, I can't be of more help.
bbs half an hour
ReplyDeleteThis is why we love you Miss Ellie! ♥ You'll pop in to a game you're not even playing just to try and help. :)
ReplyDeletewhen I googled "find the ip of a website" I got many hits, like
ReplyDeletehttp://www.selfseo.com/find_ip_address_of_a_website.php
http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Website%27s-IP-Address
http://compnetworking.about.com/od/traceipaddresses/f/websiteipaddr.htm
etc, but I'm sure you found that too! I really should stop googling for what I don't have the slightest clue about what I'm doing. Sorry for bugging you, and once again, good luck!!
Okay, see you bigtank. Looking here for the moment. Have the i* just need to figure this part
ReplyDeleteLosing my flipping mind.com
hahaha @mk, that's just because I love you too :) Don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing here though :D:D
ReplyDeleteHm... I'd love to open that "losing my flipping mind.com, but can't :(
ReplyDeleteyes, the ip is all figured out, we need the su**** m**k. This level bites. Posted what I really really need on FB in a comment on my previous post.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm starting to really dislike the asterisk. It's sad b/c it's not the asterisk's fault that I have to use it so much. I think I'll start doing dots now. I'll do one now. I ha.. s....t m...s ahh, that's better.
huh...me neither Okay here's the long version.
ReplyDeletehttp://wiki.xtronics.com/index.php/IP_Subnet_Masks
a.k.a. "Loosing my flipping mind.com" :P
Lol @mk, you need the http://www.subnet-calculator.com/... or not (lol). Now, I'll stop bugging you since I still don't know what I'm talking about :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm done for today anyway. Thanks for popping in Ellie!!! :D Nice to see you here.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll calculate maybe for a minute.
is there anything i can do to help lol
ReplyDeletewell put some numbers into that calculator but still non the wiser
ReplyDeletelol...thought I'd pop in to see if you were back and here you are! I thought you'd have something like, "umm...mk, this was the easiest level, why didn't you figure it out?" to say.
ReplyDeletewell yes that would have been my first post if i new what the hell i had to do lol. posted a couple of messages at the forums, . but will be going again soon, day off work tomorrow so maybe something will turn up, we are struggling due to lack of players over here .
ReplyDeleteWell, will be glad to have you tomorrow. Though, I may have put my pc in the microwave by then.
ReplyDeleteYou may want to update your post on Nord, you put level 44, we're on 46. :)
Connect sth from sth from the title to the notes to find sth related to what you found haves
ReplyDeletegot that at the mindskell forum ???????????????/

ReplyDeleteOh my [really bad word] God! No need to do anything else! Tynka gave us the answer, it's in the email I sent. Marja was wrong, we DID have the right ip.
ReplyDelete46 DONE!

ReplyDeleteThanks bigtank, I must have the wrong i*. I send you mine, would you please check it??
ReplyDeleteemail sent, the number is right .come help me on 47 please .
ReplyDeletethanks, I didn't realize to change last parts to zero.
ReplyDeleteOkay on 47
omg, a zip file in a zip file in a zip file, does it ever end??
ReplyDeletehmm, we have a grid again, I assume we have to find how to walk on it. btw what is a subplane?
ReplyDeleteGood morning. :) Can't really play now, but I think the subplane will be the bottommost level under ground. So 8 will be on top.
ReplyDeletehmm...is nobody here? I made my grid, now how to walk? Or do I need a word list?
ReplyDeleteokay, found the book. :)
ReplyDeleteokay, do now need to know if the subplane is the basement or the attic. Hmm...
ReplyDeletehave the appropriate grid and know how to move, but I guess I'll just have to try it both ways?
basement
ReplyDeleteI am looking for the book for hours now. is the author N******* O***??
ReplyDelete@chipsi Author is G****** P***c
ReplyDeleteBook title L***: A U***'s M*****
Find an appropriate 10x10 grid assosiated with it in google images and you will get it right away. Subplane is bottom, then ground, the 1 all the way up to 8 at the top. I have them side by side if you like I can mail. :)
yes, please mail.
ReplyDelete@chipsi sent :)
ReplyDelete48, can't even open the clipboard. hmm...google, I guess.
ReplyDeletethanks, got it. How did you find it, was there another hint?
ReplyDeleteuh oh, I think in 48 we need to go to the forum as per this hint from Mishu:
ReplyDelete"there is only one clickable place, go there and search"
I already noticed I couldn't open the clipboard, but the google link doesn't work either. Only f**** and the answer button. I haven't even been there yet, hope it's not hard to find what I need.
I'm on the f**** now and searching for law
ReplyDeleteYes, on Nordinho, it said, "find the book, find the 10x10 grid" so I googled the page title and it's wiki came up wherein I found the term '10x10 grid', so then I google imaged the book title with '10x10 grid' and there it was. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have to register to find what I need here, or would I be able to find it in one of the general pages like faq or rules would make sense. I can't find the way to make it English so I'm not joining. Did you register?
Okay @chipsi! You go find it and I'll wait here for a map. :P
ReplyDeletehi mk i looked at this book this morning but could not find the grid.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am. I'm looking at the rules now, but I am not sure if I'm right. rules are in english, too, but I think you have to register to view the site in english.
ReplyDeletei am registered on the site, was easy to do, just used my name on here
ReplyDelete@bigtank Do you want me to mail it to you?
ReplyDelete@chipsi Would it be worth it for me to register? I did find a law in the FAQ, but it's not the answer.
i think i have found the grid now, but where do i start etc. at no one . i am not sure i wrote my letters down in the right order. tes an email would be good thanks
ReplyDeleteokay, I registered to. I only see the drop menu for languages on the registration page though. It's really annoying. :s
ReplyDeleteyou can find the rules I am searching under user control panel. If you can view them and they are the right one than I would be no need for you to register.
ReplyDeleteI've registered, but can't view the rules in English. This is why I didn't do it earlier.
ReplyDeletelol...nvm, just needed to scroll down. *face to palm*
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I remember that michjean (I think) actually posted these rules earlier. Really rigid there aren't they? sheesh! Anyway, still haven't found the answer.
ReplyDeleteLOL @mkganda maybe we should try scroll down for answer?
ReplyDeleteA hint on mindskell is: Do what can be done and look there
I am doing nothing else than looking and waiting for letter jumping out to me.
I think I found something. In the search bar at the top search "rules" and you get a law, but u******** isn't working. I think this is where we need to be though.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right, reading the whole u******** l** now.
ReplyDeleteme too, especially the end.
ReplyDelete"In conclusion..."
@bigtank You here with us? You got my mail right?
ReplyDeletewell it is not architype either
ReplyDeleteHad to read it several times and not sure if I understood everything right.
ReplyDeleteI tried t*** a b****. It is not the answer but it had fit perfectly.
got it...hehe
ReplyDeleteFirst words. ;P
lol yes i can see is all reading the law now in the whos online bit at the bottom
ReplyDelete@bigtank you are reading the u******** l**?
ReplyDeleteyes , you are thers and chips ,
