  9. Go here to decode

    wiki

7 1/0 sets - 6 per side so, 2 6-letter words. If you struggle (like I did) finding some, scroll down to the chart that has even/odd parity columns and you'll get it. Simple number/letter conversion. Ditch the 9, that's just a hint for as to what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  10. 52, less time consuming break all 0/1 sets down to bar amounts ie 0001001=3121 b/c there are 3 then 1 then 2 then 1 digits. This is one you'll need the parity for.

    ReplyDelete

  24. Hi, back again. Thank you @mkganda for your hints for 51!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. on 53, I tried to open the txt-file with open-office, I was asked for username and password, but it was the same gibberish as in the browser.
For me it looks like a picture which was converted into txt, so I tried to open with paint but can't. Cannot download it either. Now I am looking for a free txt to picture converter...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good morning, I'm still not able to open the file, but I think I've found sth. Look at url, it is called gate csi but this is not a name for the greek letter (should be xi).

    ReplyDelete
  27. Tynka on nord wrotes for 53:

save the file then change the ex*******

I can't save the file, I hope one of you can.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Chipsi,
I'm not playing this riddle anymore, but Bigtank mailed me about it.
To save the file I chose (when I had the gibberish text open) File (in Internet Explorer) and then Save As.
    Anyway I mailed you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. i just can find how to change this file,

    ReplyDelete
  30. thanks @small-tool

Trying to find out how to change it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @bigtank, maybe this helps to find out how to change:
    http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1269/vista_show_unhide_file_extensions/

Still don't know to what it should be changed

    ReplyDelete
  32. good find chipsi but i can not even find the file name. just called a document when i save it

    ReplyDelete
  33. Don't know exactly what you mean. I got the file from small-tool and it is called document.txt
Do we have to change the .txt to sth. different?

    ReplyDelete
  34. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  41. np, just give me a shout if you need me

    ReplyDelete
  42. Feeling a little bit stupid at the moment, struggling with the password on 54.

    ReplyDelete
  43. lol that was a good one, it is the notes , take it literally

    ReplyDelete
  44. POP got it, feeling really stupid yet. :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  46. just ignore the map it is wrong try to make your own words, just let me know if u want a mail

    ReplyDelete
  47. yes, please mail!!! Too much vocals and for me and a lack of vacabulary, so guessing doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  51. on 54, I got the pdf (is it just the one page?)from the map, used the PW, but I'm not sure how to use either one?

    ReplyDelete
  52. okay, googled words from map, but where am I picking letters from? the pdf is just a logo.

    ReplyDelete
  53. oh...google for map right?

    ReplyDelete
  54. so it's M**** P*****...:s

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hi @mkganda, there are mistakes in the map. Couldn't solve it without bigtanks help. I send you the mail.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @chipsi Thank you! :) Finally figured out what to do, but wasn't getting anywhere. Now I have to go for a bit, but can play in about an hour or so. Will get it then. Hope to see you here! :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Really have problems to find the words from the boxes by combining coulor and question.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm back, but can't find it. I can't find a map that has all the same spots listed either. :(

    ReplyDelete
  59. oh well, I'm going to escape some until someone is around. :)

    ReplyDelete
  60. hi all on 53 can only hear noise what to do slow it down or speed it up?????

    ReplyDelete
  61. @zephyr, I don't know, the mp3 thing didn't work for me but can send you a mail if you want.

@mkganda forget the map you found. concentrate on the v***** and n***** etc. you have from the map. than guess the words.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @chipsi okie plz send mail..thnx

    ReplyDelete
  63. @zephyr mail is on the way

    ReplyDelete
  64. oh my goodness @chipsi! Feeling pretty thick atm. Oh well, on 55. Thank you! :)

    ReplyDelete
  65. no problem :) Waiting for you on 56 to help me out.

    ReplyDelete
  66. hmm...saw the hint on the forum for 55, but may need a push.

    ReplyDelete
  67. think easy, what do you have to do in the most first three levels when you start a riddle game?

    ReplyDelete
  68. @chipsi I was thinking about that and it's usually, an*****, fi*** l*****s, s***** c***, etc... right?

    ReplyDelete
  69. you are thinking to complecated.
Where do you want to go? Just put it in the answer box.
It's hard to hint and without given the answer, if you want I can mail.

    ReplyDelete
  70. lol...coffee's brewing. Got a lot of sun yesterday and I think I may have sizzled away some of my riddle lobe in my brain. :P

    56...yay! Thank you so much @chipsi :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. hmm...I see from the forum that some of this versions htms are mixed up.

I'll just put it here, so it's all in one place.

    "red and black are mixed
also you need two-fifth (or four-fifth) from the first"

    ReplyDelete
  72. I don't get how to find the words, I am googling like mad with and without color but have nothing so far which makes any sense.

    ReplyDelete
  73. On 54.. found the pdf opened it too tried to figure out the words but too many c********s and no v****s a little help plz..does the v**** in the plan mean v**** of the a******* :( hope u get the star words

    ReplyDelete
  74. @zephyr29 check your mail.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @chipsi didnt receive any mail plz resend

    ReplyDelete
  76. hi again. Had to leave in a hurry. Seems little progress on 56. I don't get how to find them either. I googled stuff together hoping to find a game or a story or something that links them together, but no such luck so far. :s

    ReplyDelete
  77. ok checking in now home from work . glad to see you all caught me up. any progress on 56 , i have nothing

    ReplyDelete
  78. I found that level name is a sentence that is used in star wars, but I doubt that this will help us.

    ReplyDelete
  79. hey mk stuck on 54 cant get te letters right chipsi sent mail but i didnt receive can u help me

    ReplyDelete
  80. hi @bigtank :) Nothing here. Trying to think of green drinks, red weapons, black signs of royalty, and white animals now. No luck.

    ReplyDelete
  81. ok so do you think that is what we need mk. hope it is not previous levels as i kept no notes till level 44.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @bigtank No idea. Seems though, that they would be connected as it would be way too vague otherwise, right? But then it seems there isn't enough information in most of the levels so who knows? I started looking at color symbolism too. Working on that now.

    ReplyDelete
  83. got to go for a while will be back later

    ReplyDelete
  84. you think it is connected with previous levels? It's the best idea so far, okay starting with lvl 1....

    ReplyDelete
  85. Any luck @chipsi? I'm starting to wonder if they are just wordplays.

    ReplyDelete
  86. @zephyr did you get my mail?

    ReplyDelete
  87. No, unfortunately not.
If it is wordplay , the first on the notes could be k**, but I'm not very good in these.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @chipsi @bigtank and @zephyr29 sent mail re: 56. @zephyr I know you're not here yet, but you'll need it when you get here. Looking at wiki now. :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. If you have the words from the four windows, you need to apply to SOS...

    SPOILERWiki is your friend
    It's a matter of sound, no words...SPOILER

I must not have mine correct then. I thought we were taking letters not the whole words. :s

    ReplyDelete
  90. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  91. for the windows, the first you need 4/5 not 3/5 and don't forget the first letter you get from the notes.

Still can't enter it right though.

    ReplyDelete
  92. hi mk ty for the mail.i got d..... is that what you have

    ReplyDelete
  93. got it. sending mail again :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. still working on the words, missing green and black.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Once you know what you're looking for, forget the colors b/c some are mixed up. Just focus on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. If you like I can email you @chipsi. :)

    ReplyDelete
  96. whoa...57 looks like a lot of work.

    ReplyDelete
  97. yes, please mail, I'm a little bit confused at the moment :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @bigtank Yes, but pay close attention to how dits are used. They are shortened unless they are the last part of the sequence. In the wiki use "ctrl f" and search for vocalise.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Got it!!!! Great thanks @mkganda
@bigtank I forgot the space between the three letters, that's why it doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  101. ok got to a.... p..... now what are we looking for a h.....

    ReplyDelete
  102. I've got to go for a bit. I'm currently still on my path on Google Earth on Quai Arloing/D51. Will continue when I get back. Glad you're here! ciao!

    ReplyDelete
  103. got to go too. got to an avenue of a famous scientist ( he discovered something). will be back tommorow gl

    ReplyDelete
  104. Finally reached on A***** P****** and hope that I didn't turn wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  105. okay, I'm back, but it'll take me a few to catch up.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Found the french man to whom we should send a mail, but don't know how. (I think I lost my riddle brain somewhere on the way )

    ReplyDelete
  107. :s I got lost. I don't want to start again...but I will lol.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @mkganda if you need a mail just say a word

    ReplyDelete
  109. hey mk sent u mail plz reply

    ReplyDelete
  110. @zephyr okay. :)

@chipsi I think I'm on the right road now, but just got here. I'll signal if I need a push. Did you pass it?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Okay @chipsi, how do I know who to mail? :s

    ReplyDelete
  112. wait, I think I've got him if his name is the road I'm on. Looking for the local PO. What do they call them there?

    ReplyDelete
  113. You still here @chipsi? The closest PO I found was by another very famous man. hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  114. still here, but wasn't able to post.

the other famous man is it: J****** d* l* P*****?
I'm not sure how to mail him.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Okay, we have to email, so forget about that last post. The P.O. is off of Winston Churchill, but we need to email a French man at a hotel where we are. Tried to enter email addresses in answer box, but nothing yet.

    ReplyDelete
  116. when I click on the letter the email-programm pops up but I cannot send. Do you think we have to send the email to the hotel?

    ReplyDelete
  117. yes, I do. When I clicked the letter it opens an email too. It says STOP! who to email?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Wait...ya, this is weird. It opened outlook which I don't use so if I got a return email, I couldn't check it anyway, :s

Maybe it's just a hint that it's an email address that we need? I don't think so because Tynka and Mishu mentioned sending an email to either a French hotel or French guy so...great.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Hint on nord: google the final place you got and send an email to a french men

there are two french men to who we can mail P****** (street name) and la P*****.
Trying to find out the email-address of the hotel

    ReplyDelete
  120. hmm...also this: "final answer should be in the same form"

    ReplyDelete
  121. I've used the @lepuydesverites.net @wanadoo.fr and another one. There is one bed and breakfast and 2 hotels. :s

    ReplyDelete
  122. so the answer should look like:
    nameofthefrenchman@maybenameoftown??

    ReplyDelete
  123. I guess...I don't know and then what ".fr"?

    ReplyDelete
  124. tried l****p******@la******e.fr

    ReplyDelete
  125. looks like a trial and error thing between name of the man (if we have the right one) and addresses of hotels

    ReplyDelete
  126. but are we sending a real email or just writing the address in the answer box?

    ReplyDelete
  127. also nudge on other possible french guy?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Don't know, but I think it is more possible to put the address in the answer box.
For second guy google name of the town and wiki gives you the town and a french nobleman

    ReplyDelete
  129. hmm...I get a one sentence wiki unless it's the mayor.

    ReplyDelete
  130. send you a mail with the link

    ReplyDelete
  131. tried to send a mail to
    L****P******@wanadoo.fr
    and
    J******d*l*P*****@wanadoo.fr
and got an mail delivery error.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Okay, gotta feed the small people. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Wish I could have been more help today. This Jaques character has a lot of possibles for his name. :s

    Anyway, good luck! :D

    ReplyDelete
  133. Just quickly, I ran a path from where 990a starts and went exactly 4.3 km and ended up here. This has to be the one, right?

    http://www.lepuydesverites.net/

    ReplyDelete
  134. okay, good night, c! sending the good riddle vibes out to you. :P

    ReplyDelete
  135. Good night mkganda. I wont stay much longer, too, it is past midnight here.

    ReplyDelete
  136. back again and still stuck, I tried all possible combinations with name and email-address that I could think of. I even tried to send real mails to but also had no luck.

    ReplyDelete
  137. wow, it worked! Had to empty my cache, but at least I can post now. So weird. Anyway, since I couldn't post before, I wanted to say good morning :)

I started a thread on the forum since there isn't one yet and the Nord crew is going to be real sick of me soon. :P

    Hopefully we'll get a nudge.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Hi mkganda, we really need a nudge.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Yes, we do. This shouldn't be this hard. I traced the path again and it could either be the b&b or the hotel on the corner. Either way, I wish there was a clue as to which guy and whether or not real mail is sent. I actually doubt we do, but nothing is working so who knows?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hi guys,
I have nothing to add to this riddle, but was wondering if you could help me.
I can't post anymore with my Google account.
When I sign in it seems to go ok but then here I'm called anonymous and still can't post.
Anybody familiar with this kind of problem and can help me?

    ReplyDelete
  141. Hint on Mindskell:

you are looking for the first part of the e-mail adress ;) the part after @ is from Mindskell world

I send a real mail to J****** d* l* P***** and got a replay, working on that now

    ReplyDelete
  142. Hi small-tool, really would like to help you, but I've got no experience with this kind of problem

    ReplyDelete
  143. okay, stuck again. what to do with the letters? Finding vocals or is it a cipher?

    ReplyDelete
  144. @small-tool Yes! Happened to me this morning too. Cleared my cache and it worked again. I also went straight to Blogger and signed in there before I opened EG24 again.

@chipsi Just got back. I can't believe I did it again. Lost track of time and had to rush out the door. Will read updates in a sec. :)

    ReplyDelete
  145. It is:

    J******d*l*p*****@m********.i*

    ReplyDelete
  146. @chipsi you still here? sos

    ReplyDelete
  147. okay, thought I tried that. Maybe it's case sensitive. Thanks @chipsi! :)

    ReplyDelete
  148. @mkganda did you get it yet or should I mail you?

    ReplyDelete
  149. @chipsi sent you mail. Fwd of my "failed delivery". Will you check the address for me, please? :(

    ReplyDelete
  150. replied. You forgot a 'c'

    ReplyDelete
  151. omg...thanks @chipsi. Feeling a little silly now.

    @zephyr don't forget the C in J******! lol!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Any leads with the letters yet? Going to have a look here.

    ReplyDelete
  153. nvm, feeling silly myself, it seems that nobody had a problem with the letters/words, but I have no clue.

    ReplyDelete
  154. either we're missing vowels or we need a cipher, right?

That TH in there makes me think we need vowels and it may be some sort of riddle or tongue twister?

I'm wrong a lot, though, so you can ignore me lol.

    Where's @bigtank?

    ReplyDelete
  155. maybe not just vowels. maybe we're missing letters that will make these words and will spell out our answer on their own? hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  156. that's what I think, too. I tried to get words but the only ones I could guess are th=the and nd=and, too much B for me :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. hmm...tried crypto the way it is and changing the letters...

    ReplyDelete
  158. I think I got something...sending mail. I think my first instinct was correct. :)

    Tongue twister-missing letters.

    ReplyDelete
  159. okay, will wait for your mail

    ReplyDelete
  160. it's not there yet? Anyway, there is one word that's off here...

    ReplyDelete
  161. Oooh for "the b*m" it's On not In. Doesn't help much though. :s

    ReplyDelete
  162. I'm looking at the wiki and at Italian ones, but can't find that one. I think that one's just there for the Italian version of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  163. tried to send a mail to b**b**@m********.** and failed LOL

    ReplyDelete
  164. check mail, might be onto something?

    ReplyDelete
  165. Wait! We're missing something HUGE! Remember this hint from Tynka on Nord?

    for the last part:
"the final answer should be in the same form"

    ReplyDelete
  166. sounds good, and now let's try and send the bugs to mindskell

    ReplyDelete
  167. tried ab*****@m********.** lol. Nope!

    ReplyDelete
  168. send each bug but no! also tried to send the whole sentence doesn't work either

    ReplyDelete
  169. also tried the missing letters

    ReplyDelete
  170. have to leave, will be back in an hour. Send me mail if you succeed!

    ReplyDelete
  171. me too, but be back in about half that. Thought before I leave: maybe "in the same form" means no vowels NOT email. Will try when I get back.

@zephyr I know you can't post, but you can check so if you are keeping an eye here, try it?

    ReplyDelete
  172. @chipsi For when you return, my post at 5/24/11 8:10 AM was correct. The missing words-same form.

    ReplyDelete
  173. I think I know the answer for 58, but how to enter it.

    ReplyDelete
  174. so many options for that time. What year?

    ReplyDelete
  175. okay, what to do with these on 59? :s

    ReplyDelete
  176. back again, thanks @mkganda for 57, I knew we were badly overthinking.
    on 58
    now

    ReplyDelete
  177. For 58, look up and use step for year. :)

The answer should be in Italian.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Need you on 59. Don't know how to get the files, but I did see that they are in Italian. :s

    ReplyDelete
  179. 58 is a film, am I right?

    ReplyDelete
  180. No, it's something that was signed and announced on that date. That day has a wiki, scroll down to the right year and see something that happened btwn US and Italy. It should have a clickable link to it's own wiki that has the right answer.

    A********* d* C********

    ReplyDelete
  181. grr...why can't I see where these stupid folders are?

    ReplyDelete
  182. got it, thanks again @mkganda! lets have a look on 59

    ReplyDelete
  183. hmm, can't find folders and can't download mp3, need some brainfood!!
