ReplyDeleteYou are really getting better at making games.

Just not fun, sorry.
ReplyDeleteAnd actually there are two endings.
ReplyDeleteYou can also go right, break the glass in the right part of the cabinets and click the monster and you're out, but that's less fun.
fast one or buggy? found a key in the basket n broking some glass let me go out
ReplyDeleteMaybe some bugs so you could escape too soon, but give this guy a break. He's new in making escape games and is making great progress.
ReplyDeleteI think the game had to be as I wrote in the walkthrough. And you can play it that way if you don't go click the monster in the cabinet.
Good Job Aykut!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the effort of making games (Free) for us to play. Keep up the good work and Thanks :-)
And Three Cheers for Small-tool making a walkthrough for your game ( has to make you proud!!! )
Just an FYI for the developer - there is also a bug at the little pink door - I was able to break the glass and take the code paper without opening the pink door.
ReplyDeleteOh, and just an opinion, but the code box is always almost too dark to see the numbers.
Games are getting better, thanks for making them. :)
Too bad they took one of my games, Baby Sister http://www.games2girls.com/p/babysisterescape/Escape and decompiled it, then they made it their own game. It's crazy what people will do these days.
ReplyDeleteAh, that's crappy. Interesting though, by playing both games it's quite obvious whose is superior.
ReplyDeleteEew...I won't play one of these again. Stealing=tsk tsk. I'm a huge fan @SelfDefiant and played your original instead. That one was short and sweet and a proper escape. Thanks for letting us know. We're a loyal bunch I think you'll find. :)
ReplyDeleteI think we need to take back all the praise we have given to this gamemaker's progress...
ReplyDeleteSelfDefiant is someone to aspire to...
Stealing is just despicable...no excuses!
@smalltool, you're way too generous with your praise. Who on earth reads a walkthrough BEFORE they play a game to know how to NOT end the game prematurely.
ReplyDeleteI've never done a walkthrough before but this will be my first
WALKTHROUGH
1. Click OFF in the top left hand corner to turn the annoying music off.
2. Go right.
3. Click the glass with the monster behind it.
4. Click the monster again.
And you are out.
On another note stealing games is low. Aykut you should be ashamed of yourself stealing one of SelfDefiant's (a legend of escape game creating) games and releasing it as your own. I will boycott your games in future, and urge others to do the same.
wow......... You can see right away that this game is a POOR IMITATION of "Baby sister escape"
ReplyDeleteWill NEVER play again any games by Aykut, stealing in just wrong.
Didn't this author do the same with some Ainar's before?
ReplyDeleteAnd stealing ideas/format from Rhosus...
Shame...
Just a question. Is it allowed to steal someones game or immages. I didn't like the games in the beginning but since he's a new gamer I gave him the benefit of the doubt and played them all. There was realy progress in the games he made. But I don't play them again. In Holland we say: Pronk niet met andermans veren. I don't now how to translate that in English but it's something like this: don't be proud of something you didn't do your self.
ReplyDeleteimproving
ReplyDeleteI hope Aykut keeps working on these games and sooner or later will get the hang of it. Everyone has to start somewhere. Much improved over the "find 12 things" games.
ReplyDeleteWell, that sealed the deal for me. Self Defiant is a tremendous developer and I'm so glad he pointed out what is REALLY going on. Absolutely won't open up another game by Aykut. They aren't worth the time anyway.
ReplyDeleteI played the Baby Sister Escape -- Now I see. Aykut DO NOT do that. Wrong Wrong Wrong. I am a huge Self Defiant fan. If you look at other artist's work - fine. But DO NOT recycle it and call it your own. Escape games have the basic premise - to get out by finding things and solving puzzles. They use all kinds of devices for you to use to achieve this. What makes them special are the images and graphics that the game artists CREATE themselves. Even if Self Defiant's name were not on his games, I would recognize them immediately because of the art he uses.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I had not seen the Baby Sister game, but as soon as I saw the keys - I knew.
Aykut, don't do that again. It is very hard to get past a mistake like this. So go do a game that is all your own and then come back here. An apology to Self Defiant and the gaming community might help too.
I don't think the games are very similar. The keys look the same and the keys and handles on the cupboards are colour coded in the same way. But that's all I see.
ReplyDeleteIf the code has been decompiled and reused then that isn't ok. Using someone else's code to learn is ok IMO, but not just reuse it.
@Cricketer9999a: It's a scene by scene copy of Self Defiant's game. He's stole all the graphic art.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't believe Aykut meant any harm in producing his game. (Plagiarism is rife these days but who knew it was happening in the world of escape games?) Aykut is exploring the art of making games and he, probably, is in the middle of learning flash and other codes etc. and looked for inspiration....who better than SD? The man is a master! Apologies to SD for any offence and I hope EG24 gamers will continue to give feedback to Aykut in his development as a games creator. Again, I do not believe Aykut meant any offence or underhandedness.
ReplyDeleteI solved the problem with Selfdefiant. I designed the game again. I did not think would be the problem.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Aykut.
ReplyDeleteKeep on going.
You're doing great!
Many, many thanks to (in no order...) SD, ST, Aykut, Yalcin and all EG24 players for making this a minor issue :)
ReplyDeleteAdam, I think the game must have changed before I played it. So ignore my previous comment.
ReplyDeleteWell done Aykut.
