    ReplyDelete
  7. Stuck on Note. Book isn't helping me.

    ReplyDelete
  8. stuck on four. tried the name of the play, the author's name, nothing. any hints?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm in and you won't believe it, already stuck on level 2.
Counted the words in every sentence, but that's not the answer!?

    ReplyDelete
  10. @elise, load the note in a program like irfanview and play with brightness and contrast.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @s-t, think sports, stamps and coins

    ReplyDelete
  12. @small-tool the phone gives you letters, choose the right ones for the answer

    ReplyDelete
  13. hmm will need headphones for 4, there is an audio clip.

    ReplyDelete
  14. ahh, sorry, @s-t, that was a hint for 3) :-)

    ReplyDelete
  15. @missbrasil: click on the radio, it will give you the transcription

    ReplyDelete
  16. Rudi and Chipsi,
Are you really talking about level 2?
Don't see anything about sports, stamps and coins.
And wasn't the phone letters level 1.

Anyway, I guess it's not a good idea to play two riddles in a row. Brain is tired from the previous one.

    ReplyDelete
  17. okay, stuck on 4, nothing in the source that helps, hmm

    ReplyDelete
  18. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sorry chipsi that was for 5, for 4 search for the text.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @s-t, when you click on the journal, it will give you three "mini-riddles". each one can be solved with a number, akltogether 7 digits.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Rudi. Your first guess is right, just use the whole name.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sorry @small-tool no I'm not talking about 2.
Now I'm talking about two. Did you click the journal? there are three hints in it. google each to find the right number. card gives you three, stamp gives you two and coin gives you two.

    ReplyDelete
  23. got 5 now, forgot the leading "the" :-)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thanks guys,
    On level 3 now.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @missbrasil, it was a big hoax in it's times, put fear in the hearts of many a people...

    ReplyDelete
  26. thanks again Rudi, but I'm still working on it...

    ReplyDelete
  27. I know what level 4 is about.
    But w..o.t..w..... isn't the answer.
Do I have to look for something else?
    The writer?

    ReplyDelete
  28. @s-t, look at my comment from 7:48 :-)

    ReplyDelete
  29. still stuck with that darn tiffany lamp. any clues?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thanks again Rudi,
Really thought it was spelled without 'the'
Anyway looking at level 5 now.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Rudi, Z*** on the lamp.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thanks Faltu,
    I think I'm on level 6 now.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @faltu, thanks a lot, now my eyesight is failing me, cannot make out all of what there's to see :-)

    ReplyDelete
  34. ha! got it by trial and error!

    ReplyDelete
  35. yay its live and just started...i finally get to play with u..hi chipsi

    ReplyDelete
  36. S-t, Rudi, congrats! 6 is easy, come help at 7, I do not have much time.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Lol zephyr29, you're here.
I just answered you on the other riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Lol Faltu,
    How is level 6 easy?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Small-tool it is a virtue, you will have only 2-3 letters fulfilling each conditions, choose the right ones.

    ReplyDelete
  40. hehe @s-t, I'm totally with you. I'm calling that liitle Yogi-bear names already, but none of them fits :-)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Just got it Faltu,
    but thanks anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  42. got it! be brave, @s-t!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Trying to keep up with you guys, hard to work and play at the same time :) On 6 now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Bye for today, leave plenty of clues. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Bye Faltu, see you tomorrow.

No first ideas on level 7 yet.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @s-t, did you find anything distinctive about that quilt?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ah wait a minute.
What was that alphabet called again?
We used it in other riddles too but I can't remember the name.

    ReplyDelete
  48. stuck on note played with brightness and contrast but c nothing

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ah I remembered again, it's betamaze alphabet.
Now gonna try to convert it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. and purplehell seems to be down again :-(
but anyway, the title says warm in more then one way. maybe only ther warm colours count?

    ReplyDelete
  51. thnx small tool didnt want to miss a live game (i so rarely manage to catch one)so quit tht for now :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. @s-t, got it, it's not quite from russia w... l...

    ReplyDelete
  53. @zephyr, keep playing, the result will be white and hard to see, but it's there

    ReplyDelete
  54. Are we looking at braille on level 8?

    ReplyDelete
  55. don't think so, but look at the dots on the pictures and the dots in the book, only one pattern matches...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Rudi,
    I really think it's braille.
You have to put the pictures on the right places in the book (according to the text hints and what the baby is doing) and then you have 2 columns and 3 rows and that's braille format.

    ReplyDelete
  57. @s-t, guess you're right, didn't pay enough attention to the kids themselves - well, I never do :-)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yep, on level 9 now.
You need to anagram after you got the letters on level 8.

    ReplyDelete
  59. yeah, got it as well, wasn't looking forward to life enough :-)

    ReplyDelete
  60. thnx rudi looking at the quilt now

    ReplyDelete
  61. @s-t, got to go, have to catch a train, will be back tomorrow, guess you and all the others will be through by then. have fun!

    ReplyDelete
  62. And where are Chipsi and Faltu now?
Those evil girls dragged me into this riddle while I wanted a break after finishing the previous one.
Anyway, again no first ideas on level 9.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Bye Rudi, see you tomorrow.
Maybe a good moment now to take a little break too.

    ReplyDelete
  64. back for an hour. Could need a little nudge on 7. I know betamaze and I have puple hell. Are the white things on the quilts the code? If so how did you find out the right one, it seems that nothing matches with the betamaze?

    ReplyDelete
  65. @s-t help on 7 plz the quilt u said something abt betamaze but dont know wht to transalate

    ReplyDelete
  66. hey guys im trying to play this game but not getting the concept i have tried to convert the numbers in level 1 to the letters in the dials but not getting the answer help plz

    ReplyDelete
  67. Chipsi,
Yep the white shapes are the betamaze shapes, but it's not on the original picture. Click on the bottom part to see the picture with the code.

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh, totally missed that. thanks small-tool!

    ReplyDelete
  69. thnx small-tool! i missed tht too!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. hi chipsi finally caught up with u on this one

    ReplyDelete
  71. You're both welcome.
There was a hint in the text about that there was something special with the bottom one.
It seems you have to pay attention to a lot of things in this riddle.

Not really playing very focused right now, just a bit looking around, but can't find the way to take steps on level 9.
    Waiting there for you two.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hi Guys.. I am still stuck on level 40 of the previous riddle. can anyone give me a nudge. I think I am suppose to convert a date (1324??) into roman numerals? Help!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Nour,
Highlight the whole page to see extra numbers that will help you to convert the phone number into letters.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Hi EnJoy,
    Not a date.
There are numbers on the picture (hard to see, use Gimp or Photoshop) they refere to previous levels.
Do the math with the answers from those 2 levels and then the roman numeral thing.

    ReplyDelete
  75. yes i did that i got defdad1 :S not the answer

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ok. I am on level 13 and 24.. will work on it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. got it.. thanks small-tool. glad I bookmarked those levels.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hi zephyr, missed you on the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Nour,
The first number is 2 and that's ABC
The first number in the hidden hint is 3,
So the letter to pick is the third, the C.
Do that with all the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Congrats EnJoy.
And like you see, no time for a break. Need you here on this riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Any idea for 9? source says to ignore the heart.

    ReplyDelete
  82. For level 9.
    I think the hints are;
    - the colours of the legs of the sheep (probably about on what letter to start).
    - The title (four steps)
    - The source (ignore the heart)
    - And probably the radio text, but that's so much and complicated (at least for me it is right now; shouldn't be drinking so early and on a weekday, but it's my holiday).
    Anyway completely stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Well for god's sake.. I am stuck on level one! (phone) am I use to use the hidden numbers and convert to letters or the phone number of the shop?

    ReplyDelete
  84. @enjoy use the shop number only

    ReplyDelete
  85. Enjoy the first number gives you three letters on the phone the hidden one tells you which of the three to choose.

    ReplyDelete
  86. got it.. have to also use the hidden numbers on the shop numbers.

    Thanks Zephyr

    ReplyDelete
  87. oh thts how its done i just used purple hell phonespell i think its called allows u to enter digits and gives u words

    ReplyDelete
  88. for future use any phone number to letter co verter the tool on purplehell is telephone keypad codes

    ReplyDelete
  89. wonder if the radio commentary is a clue for 9

    ReplyDelete
  90. Anyone here? Me is having a dumb day. Stuck on lvl 3! :D
Have played w/ brightness/contrast but can't get a word of what I'm seeing.

    ReplyDelete
  91. okie looks like im the only one here and officially stuck so bye for today c u all tomorrow :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. is any one still here? i am still stuck on 9... can someone give me a clue how to solve it?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hope everyone is enjoying the riddle.....guess what?? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Actually, at 6 without pbs find all I need... 6 seems less simple though Ô_o

    ReplyDelete
  95. I'm stuck in 8. Got all letters but anagraming isn't working

    ReplyDelete
  96. for 6 click on the bottom of the picture, for 8, after translating to braile, just go up and down across for the answer

    ReplyDelete
  97. what jon? and can you give a hint for 9?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Well Nini will help with lvl9....I am busy preparing the next riddle....don't thank me all at once!! ;) :D

    ReplyDelete
  99. LOL jon! Well.. I won't be much of a help cuz my brain melted on the last riddle and now I'm just super tired. But I can try! :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Maybe if we start counting at the coloured letter and stop after moving 4 steps? (ignoring the middle heart) So J => N ?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Robin what about the riddle under the toy? because I have nothing to click Ô_o try to use A------ after some elimination but nothing work.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Silmarwen the teddy name is a virtue.
What do u need to go bungee-jumping?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Just back and what do I see; Nini solved level 9 of course.
    Great, but how?

    ReplyDelete
  104. s-t do what I said previously but notice what way sheeps are heading

    ReplyDelete
  105. I see Nini, but how do you know where to start?

    ReplyDelete
  106. nini..... a clue for 9 please :) been stuck here for quite a while

    ReplyDelete
  107. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Example : blue-feet sheep is heading right. So starting from C (blue) go right 4 steps and u'll end up in Y. Do that w/ all coloured letters but go left w/ yellow. Then anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Got it Nini.
    Thanks, you're amazing.
    Looking at 10 now.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Tried ROT in 10 but no luck. And WTH is that audio piece?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Lol, ROT is the first thing I tried too.
And nothing in the pic properties, nothing in exif and nothing in the source. And as far as I could see nothing in the picture zoomed in or manipulated.
Guess we have to do it with the info from all the text.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I can see the word "log" near the middle of the letter chain but guess that's nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  113. cant figure out lvl 5, tried the place and the name of the ittem

    ReplyDelete
  114. Wait a minute, I just noticed the level title.
Wasn't that some kind of code?
But I have a hard time to open Purple Hell somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Solar Guardian,
The letters (the answer) are on the picture, just zoom in.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Maybe it has something to do w/ the pic name?

    ReplyDelete
  117. And now I could open Purple Hell, but for the code you also need a key word or key letter. No idea what that could be.

    ReplyDelete
  118. That's it Nini. The keyword is the pic name.
But that's not yet the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  119. i still cant get it right, tryed the tiny letters but its always 404

    ReplyDelete
  120. This comment has been removed by the author.

  121. the fill in the blank man finds no easy chair

    lol!

    ReplyDelete
  122. found six letters but they dont work

    ReplyDelete
  123. lol got it! "fill in the blank"

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yep Nini,
That's what I found too, but it isn't the answer and no idea how to go on from that.

    ReplyDelete
  125. ?
    Nini?
Tried mr. Cross, but no go!?

    ReplyDelete
  126. s-t google "man finds no easy chair " and complete the saying.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thanks again Nini, but still Aargh.
Found the saying. Tried a lot of things, like whole saying and only the missing part, but still no go!?

    ReplyDelete
  128. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  129. should i use google translator on level 6?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Thanks Amazing Nini,
Tried that before, but probably made a typo, my keyboard is getting old.

Btw, maybe better delete that post.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Already deleted. Was just waiting for u. :)
Now help me on 11! Found every letter but Z. And what about the cat?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Nope Solar Guardian.
    It's a kind of a logic game.
Focus on the red words and eliminate letters.
You still end up with more letters for the first, second, third etc. letter of the answer, but with the hint virtue you'll be able to find out what the word is.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Found something! Now u see it now u don't is a game from cat in the hat.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Can I jump in here with you guys?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Note the clue for a number in the journal, think about the games where you spot the differences in the pic and find those, click those spots

    ReplyDelete
  136. problem is... I've only found 5

    ReplyDelete
  137. Oh! I was overthinking. Thx Neeceeree.
    Found 4 differences so far

    ReplyDelete
  138. Have u found the one in the chair? Pic right side? Hat?

    ReplyDelete
  139. I see it now but it looks like a book.

    ReplyDelete

  142. did you see the missing vase.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Yep got it (found two exta letters on my own, but thanks for the third one Nini).
Btw how did you know we needed 8?

    And welcome (and thanks) Neeceeree.

    ReplyDelete
  144. lol...players modding their own forum....that's new ;)

S-T you have different letters from me! But I don't have the answer yet...8 letters but no lvl11

    ReplyDelete
  145. The notebook gave the hint.

    ReplyDelete
  146. 12 may take me a little longer, lol

    ReplyDelete
  147. I gotta go. Good luck to u guys and don't forget to leave me big hints!
    See u later.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Yep Jon,
    That's us, very responsible posters.
    (and my letters were correct).

And of course, at first sight, no idea about level 12.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I use to do the type puzzles in 12 a lot, needed a big grid for those.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Well, for 12 there's some extra info in the source, but it's only about how to solve such a logic game.
And if you highlight the page there are already numbers in the boxes in the table.

    ReplyDelete
  151. I had not even noticed the grid already at the bottom, I was drawing out a more elaborate one. lol

    ReplyDelete
  152. what do i do with letter from lvl 7?

    ReplyDelete
  153. ooh a riddle been on holiday
for a week are we still live

    ReplyDelete
  154. Solar Guardian,
    Letter from 7!?
All you have to do there is picking up 12 letters (converting with betamaze) from the second picture.
And those letters make a sentence, and that's the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Bigtank!!!
Glad you're back, hope you had a great holiday.
And yep it's very much alive.
And you missed another riddle posted here (I will fail) just yesterday. But it seems Jon is gonna torture us with a new riddle every second day, so be prepared.

    ReplyDelete
  156. . yes i had a great time. did a bit of boogie boarding in cornwall.gonna look at the other one . seems you have all finished now. have we got the full team here

    ReplyDelete
  157. I'm still stuck on 12. Does anyone know exactly how many levels are in this one? Hoping this is the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  158. ok may have a look at this tomorrow just got back .

    ReplyDelete
  159. Nope, not the whole gang, Bigtank.
It seems like at the moment it's Jon, Neeceeree, Solar Guardian and You and Me.
But some great riddlers like Faltu, Nini and Chipsi (and new guys like Rudi and others I forgot to mention) are playing too, but not right now.

Anyway, don´t think I can do level 12 right now (the usual reason), but still have a question+
What to do with persons like Brice and Maria who receive a gift=

    ReplyDelete
  160. checked over and over again, translated and got no sentence

    ReplyDelete
  161. i will mail mk ganda or facebook her get her onboard

    ReplyDelete
  162. I don't seem to have the time to play these games, only have the time to post them and annoy fellow riddlers....will help when I can...

    ReplyDelete
  163. Solar Guardian,
    Gonna delete this again;

    If you do the betamaze conversion on the second picture (by clicking the bottom of the first picture) you get;

    SWL
    EIO
    WTV
    NHE
    And that's the answer;

    sewnwithlove

Let me know when I can delete.

    ReplyDelete
  164. sorry, english is not my best language, never heard about that first word

    ReplyDelete
  165. lol....small-tool....leave it....it is an old riddle. leave the spoiler :)

    ReplyDelete
  166. everyone still stuck on 12? i read the program on radio, has to do with a computer but still dont get it...:(, anyone come up with anything new?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Lol Jon,
That's a lame excuse. Something like the hangman telling the victim; Sorry, it's just my job.

Just kidding. Happy with all those riddles, but like I said many times before; I'm an escaper not a riddler, but somehow it's addicting.
But still, missing a lot of fun games with those riddles (like the new Selfdefiant and GotMail).

    ReplyDelete
  168. Solar Guardian,
Not my first language as well, but I think it's the past participle of 'sew' (or is it past tense, Jon knows, he's some kind of Brittish language purist - again just kidding).

Anyway Jon, you mean; not delete that comment.

And any, anyway not getting furhter with 12 this way. Maybe I better go to c-box with all those crap I post right now.

    ReplyDelete
  169. SelfDefiant has to be the ultimate creator of escapegame genre at the moment and I love his games, all hail SD!! Gotmail games are great as are Tesshi, Robamimi, Sakura, Tomatea, Jans Room, and all the others......but a riddle keeps me playing for days....not minutes. (That's not a challenge SD....your EG's are the biggest since Dreamhouse....I don't fancy another of those soon!)

    Want real punishment: http://www.escapegames24.com/2009/06/dream-house-escape.html

    ReplyDelete
  170. Aargh I still can't figure out how to do level 12.
Having big problems with the receivers of presents.
Do I have to make an extra column in my grid/table for receivers?
And suppose I figure out what's where in the grid/table, how does that lead me to an answer.

And yes Jon, I know I spelled 'British' wrong again.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I'm also wondering how solving this logic puzzle is going to give us the answer to move on. The grid table should be much, much bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Nvm.
The fourth (or fifth, depends on how you read it) column is of course the recipient of gifts.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Well, I think it's about time to post for newbies.

This game has almost 200 comments. So later comments will be on the next page.
Use the link 'new-' or 'newest comments' (bottom right on this page) to get there.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Hi, back again, lvl 11 was funny now let me have a look on 12

    ReplyDelete
  175. Gonna look at it again tomorrow.
But it feels like I'm missing information to solve the grid.
Is there extra info somewhere else?
    Like now it seems I can only find 5 occasions (there should be 6, right?);
    - Promotion
    - Anniversary
    - Retirement
    - Birthday
    - Graduation
    And in the same way I can only find 5 recipients;
    - Brice
    - Rebecca
    - Maria
    - Flynn
    - Carlson

    Anyway, that will be tomorrow.
    Bye for now.
