TLOMB: The Legend of Mah Boi - Escape the Castle is another new point and click room escape game by by knucklehand. This is a parody game, based on Philips' CD-i Zelda games. It's a point and click escape game, where you are trapped inside Hyrule castle and have to use everything you find around to attempt escaping. tried to grab the stool to reach the candle near the other dark room, nope. tried to slingshot and spear most of the wall torches. wonder if the blue squares outside the rooms are light switches that need the patters of the windows from the beginning.

ReplyDeleteThe knob shows up as a small square when you move the top point of the pointer over it. It is midway from the bottom of the picture to the floor and slightly to the right of the picture.

ReplyDeleteWhen he is at the right, aim left, and he will not touch you with his lightnings... I zoomed to have the game screen as large as my window, so my mouse cursor couldn't go out of the game...
This way, king's getting faster and faster, but it is pretty easy to avoid his shots. Wait til he fires a blue thing, which takes him more time and makes him easyer to aim.
Patience was the key :)
assuming the hearts are my lives, something should show the kings. might want to just go for it if we knew it was one more shot to get him.
ReplyDeleteThe King's health recharges when you die and retry. I don't remember exactly how much he has to be shot. Maybe 5 or 6 times...
ReplyDeleteHide left or right, when he is at the opposite side, and don't move until he changes his side. So, at this moment, you have to go to (so to aim at) the other side, and move your crosshair to the king...
LOL stupid controls! to use the knife click left mouse but to use most other items you use spacebar?!

Just go ahead and jump (Wheeee! LOL) and the binoculars (I think) seem to be used automatically when you are on the broken dock (gives the rest of a door code) with that shark...

ReplyDelete@Leroy: The lantern was in the first - dark - bedroom, zoom on the drawers and then right, if I remember correctly. First battery hhmmm, I think in the kitchen. Remote was in the fridge, I think.
Second battery in room after going upstairs, in the cabinet with the pictures.
Now looking for the button in king's room, I don't understand all the comments about finding it, just click click click

Sorry Kat Look on the right wall where the kings picture points. About midway youll find a small square appears on the wall. Click it repeatedly and a secret door should appear to the right.

ReplyDelete@Jo.C Horrible controls but I think it was m to bringup inventory then highlight Bra then clik on the elastic? Then you had to take the elastic... Then open the Y wood (using m)and then drag the elastic to it? Not sure cos it was trial and error for me to get the slingshot together. Then to shoot I cant remember if it was spacebar, m or LMB??? Or a combination thereof....

No, I didn't fight the king yet, because I read the description of fighting in the comments, so I'll first give lunch to my mother, she is 79 years old and cannot leave her bed without help, so that I have to give her medicine and meals etc. I'll return to balcony when she'll be supplied with all she needs.

No, she only needs a wheelchair and a stage lift for going out because of weakness in all muscles after severe illness. ReplyDeleteCan opener use at can from chandelier in one of the first scenes, look at the ceiling and use slinghost to shoot it down, if you haven't got it already.

@Jo.C the ABC rooms is what we are talking about but we couldnt unlock at least one of those doors til later! Sorry for the misunderstanding. I think the Mario scare was opening lock in room C and then using the lit lantern!

wooden "Y". Now click back twice, then left. Enter the room in front of you. Turn right and enter the dark bedroom.
Zoom at the chest of drawers. Open the top drawer to get the remote. Now click at the bottom right of the screen (pixelhunt #2). Pick up the lantern. Go back now, and zoom
at the bed. Click the bed sheets, and take the pink bikini.
Go back twice then right. Nw you're in the corridor, facing two doors.
Enter the left room.
Turn right, and click in the lower part of the middle of the second dark window (left window).(pixelhunt #3). The better way is to place the top arrow of the triforce symbol just over the separation
between dark gray and blue window, second from left... Now you see a small copper key. Go back, then right.
Enter the corridor in front of you, and turn around. You are facing the two doors again. Use the copper key in the right room's keyhole, and enter.
Go down the stairs, and enter the right room.
Now you're in the kitchen. Zoom at the stove, and open it. Take the cake. Back and zoom between stove and sink (pixelhunt #4 : place the top arrow of your triforce cursor on the dark
tile, between stove & sink ). Take battery #1. Go back. Zoom at the cupboard under the sink, open it and take the can opener. Go back and zoom at the bin. Take the dirty
spoon. Click now the dark tile on the right, to be able to look behind the fridge. Here lays a lightener... Take it, and go back. Zoom at the fridge, and take a closer look at the top. Take
the iron key. Go back four times, and up the stairs to the corridor again.
Now turn left, and enter the dark bedroom again. Zoom at the chest of drawers, and use the iron key to open the lower drawer. Take the Triforce part #1. Go back twice, then right, so as to face the two doors again.

ReplyDeleteNow it's time to play with your inventory
Push "M" key to pop-up the inventory panel. Select the bikini, and click the string to get ... a string. Click the string again (now from inventory, on the right part of the screen), then the
wooden "Y". Your cursor is still turned into string, so use it on the "Y" in the center of the screen to get a slingshot.
(note : This is the way to combine two items, so in further combinations, I'll just say to use one item on the other...). So, use your lightener on the lantern to light it (use spacebar to make the
lightener work).
Click "Resume" to return at the main screen... Look at the ceiling. Select your slingshot and shoot at the can, by using spacebar. Look down, and take the can. In inventory, use the can opener
on the can, to get the green key. Turn left.
Use the green key to enter the long corridor. Go straight on, then climb down the ladder. Far from you, you can see a paper, but too far to be read. A shark is swimming in front of you. So just take
the golden key, then go back three times, then left. Enter the right door, go down the stairs and zoom at the left door. Use your golden key to open the door and enter.
You can take the spear, but it isn't useful to get to the end. You can also notice the big chest in front of you.
Turn right and take the googles. Now zoom at this strange red dot, in the corner. Click on it to turn it on. (this way, you open the water in the kitchen).
Go back twice, and enter the right room (kitchen). Zoom at the sink, turn the knob, and use your dirty sppon on the water. Now you have a clean spoon, so you can taste your cake.
In nventory, use the sppon on the cake, to get Elevator code #1. (It changes each game, so there is no spoiler here ;-) ).
Go back twice, and go up the stairs, then turn right and go straight on to the shark. Click the paper in front of you, and now you can read it. You obtain theElevator code #2.
Go back three times, then left, and right door, down to the elevator. Click the keypad, and enter the complete code (#Elevator code #1 and Elevator code #2), then the green button. Now Elevator is fully functional, so go back and enter it...
TLOMB Walkthrough... Part 3 :
ReplyDeleteYou are now in room B, and there is a locked door. Also notice the left passage closed with wooden boards. So turn right and enter. You are in Room C, and nothing to do here either. So turn left, and back twice. Now, up the stairs again. Turn around, and enter the left room. Go to the balcony, take a look over the railing. Click at the hole, far down from here and... fall !
(Note : Sometimes, this fall leads you to the secret room, with a lot of rupees to collect. If so, go back and fall again)
Now you're in the Room A. Turn left, open the cupboard and take the Bomb. Turn left again, and take the red key. Now turn right three times, and use the bomb on the boards. After the cinematic, go through, and your are in room B again.
Go back twice, stairs again, then turn right and enter.
Zoom at the right door.
Use your red key to open it, climb, turn right and enter the right door, to the Pink Room.
Turn right, zoom at the shelf, and move the flower pot. Take the diary, and read it from start to end. Go back, then left, and zoom at the cupboard. Open it. Take the battery #2. Now you have 2 batteries, so use them in inventory on the remote. Zoom back twice, then right. Take your remote, and use it on the guard (Press spacebar). The door is now open, so enter...
Turn left, and take the stool. Turn right twice. The King in front painting is showing a direction with his finger. So, follow this direction with only your cursor. A dark spot should highlight when passing over (pixelhunt #5). This one is pretty hard to find... Once you discovered it, click a couple of time on it (9 or 10 times), to reveal a secret door. Enter it, and take the large key.
Now go back, left and get out of this room.
Turn left and enter the left room (pink one). Place your stool on the left of the cupboard (pixelhunt #6). Now zoom again at the cupboard, and take the knife now.
Go back, and look at the bed. Use your knife on it three times (just left button click, not spacebar), and take triforce part #2. Go back twice, then turn left twice, and go through the right door.
Turn left, then back, and left again. Enter the right door, and go down the stairs. Zoom at the left door, and enter the room.
Zoom at the big chest, and simply click at the keyhole to open it. Take the triforce symbol #3 and the rusty key. Go back twice, then right, and enter the elevator to room B.
Now turn right. Use your rusty key to open the door, and enter. Use your lit lantern on the back of the room, watch Luigi trying to scare you, and take the gun.
Go back, left, back twice then upstairs. Turn right twice, facing the two doors again. You should hear a strange music. Enter the left Room.
TLOMB Walkthrough... final part :
ReplyDeleteNow you see the king in front of you. Click on him, and after the cinematic, you will have to fight him. This is an action scene. In order to beat him, move your crosshair to the edge of the game
window, on the opposite side of the king. When he moves a bit slowly, or crosses the screen, take advantage of it and shoot at him. Don't hurry, take your time and it should be a little easier.
If you are not able to win, take a look at this video, and you'll be able to see how to beat him, and the final cinematic scene...
