  7. @ Urban: Clue was in the top room, the grid. Just fill it with letters from left to right and from top to bottom in every single grid and there you have your "secret language".

  8. morse code translation is
    the
    key
    play
    fair
    ı
    the
    name
    of
    the
    game

but there arent password. could you help me? how can ı make a sentence all of this?

    ReplyDelete
  9. @mystic: you missed one row (after key) and behind i there is "s". Put it in single row.

    ReplyDelete
  10. okeee... i thibk this is not a game für me i translated all 3 codes in the first room but cant open any door...

    ReplyDelete
  11. @URBAN youre right. ı made a mistake sentence is;
the key to play fair is the name of the game

    ReplyDelete
  12. an the games name is "coded hallway 2" isnt it?? but that wont work...

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm still blind with the code for room 2.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Think room 8 has something to do with a playfair cipher. But coded hallway, coded, hallway, coded hallway two, hallway two doesn't give me a sentence that make any sence.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @yvon: thanks for playfair hint, one of the tools had it decrypted (normal sentence)with keyword coded hallway,I will try it now.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yep, it works. Use this tool:
    http://www.braingle.com/brainteasers/codes/playfair.php

    ReplyDelete
  17. Code for 9 is really easy

    ReplyDelete
  18. For 10 it looks like you have to find 2 keys (one is in 3 or 9)

    ReplyDelete
  19. For room 2, you need a Pigpen Cipher (hint Pigpen and Mason). See http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/pigpen.htm

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anybody still playing this?
I'm stuck in the last room, room 11.

The thing with; character prevalence study.

    ReplyDelete
  21. For room 5 you need fence rail cipher tool.
    Sorry @small, not there yet

    ReplyDelete
  22. what's with the sparkling lights around door 2?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ah I see, Yvon and Urbain sre still playing.

For the most rooms only not for the type machine thing I think) you can use Purple Hell, one of the best riddle sites there is.
And don't forget to make pictures for your notebook of all the symbols (letters actually) in every room.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yvon,
I'm not sure, but maybe it was to activate the code box at the bottom. Solve that one (just the room numbers you can see there) to enter the room behind it throught the hole.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @small: i'm trying to get to room 6, but google translate obviously translates some words wrong. And for room 2, still don't get the clue.

    ReplyDelete
  26. POP, just had to change 2 words.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Urban, the thing is I can't zoom in anymore on the code panels after a code is solved. So for questions you have to give some more information.

    ReplyDelete
  28. You have all the answers in the notebook ;)
But more likely it would be nicer just that, if you can, explain how to look at the grid for room 2.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Urban, look at my earlier comment. Go visit the site i mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yep I know I have the answers, but I can't remember from what kind of code they came.
What was the grid on 2 and what was the text?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Need help with door 3. The one that says "This one is easy. All you need is what what has already been exchanged."
random sentences are amazing (but then with numbers).

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ah that one, yep. Like Yvon said, visit that site and see which letters are where in a pigpen grid.

    ReplyDelete
  33. take pigpen number 2 to solve it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yvon, I think that was the one where you just use the numbers you can see in that sentence.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks Yvone, missed your answer earlier. Door 3: ust numbers

    ReplyDelete
  36. that was easy indeed........

What with the numbers next to door 2?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yvon, Do you mean the 3-digit code at the bottom, that's just the 3 room numbers from left to right.

    ReplyDelete
  38. the only numbers i see there are 528. That doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Just one question regarding room 2: what is the key for alphabet?

    ReplyDelete
  40. In room 1, you can see left room 4, in front of you 2 and to the the right 7. So it's 427.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Urban, the underlined letters make a word, that's your key.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Urban, take the pigpen 2 to solve it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. still searching for the keyword for the caesar cipher.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yvon, like I said before, the underlined letters.
It's five letters, the first is S.

    ReplyDelete
  45. think i'm doing a wrong Caesar......... Shift does not getting me anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That kind of Caesar works like this;
First write shift and after that all the letters of the alphabet, but not the letters you already used, like s, h, etc.
Then under that write a normal alphabet and then you can decode; Like S=A etc.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks ST!!!!! Finally got it.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Finally, room 11. Are you still stuck or did you find the answer in the meantime?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Congrats and Lol, no still stuck.
But wasn't really looking (played two games in between and wrote a little hint through).
Gonna work on it, again, now.

    ReplyDelete
  50. think you have to google for an dvorak keyboard.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oops wait a minute, I think that's room 10.
Already did that one. and yep it's that kind of keyboard.

For room 11, the keyword(s) is, I think, character prevalence study.
But I can't find any decoder, cipher or something like that, that has anything to do with those words.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oops. Now Evil Jon posted a real riddle game. Quess I can't play escape games anymore this week.

    ReplyDelete
  53. that room has no number. First letter of the words are abc.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ah I see what you mean Yvon, that's the confusion with the room numbers. The numbers on the walls or doors are the numbers of the next room. But in your notebook you can see you are in room 11.

Anyway, any ideas how to solve this one?
It's indeed the whole alphabet (the first letters of the words), but it doesn't help me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. i was trying to get rid of the letters that are in character prevalenced study. Make no sense.

    ReplyDelete
  56. hope the next time there is a save button in the game....

    ReplyDelete
  57. ok wait weeks for a riddle and two come along at once just like a bus, NOt got much time to play . which one to choose

    ReplyDelete
  58. lol, just noticed there was a Walkthrough with the answers.....

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm stuck in room 4 for.
I used the right cipher, got a scentence, but is does not work... It sais something about at least 2 and 3 or more... Any hints?
