    ReplyDelete

I think the coin was in the safe that you open with the letter code (the safe above the place where you did put the letter blocks in.

    ReplyDelete
  113. & out, too!
    8-)
Fantastic game with clever codes & great graphics!
Thx to all for your help & roberto for submitting!
    :-D

    ReplyDelete
  114. @nokra, you have to open the safe above the little kiosk with all 9 letters in it... color code hint is in there, too.

    ReplyDelete
  115. OK..thanks, wasn't there yet...I just got the wrench, put the wheel on the place under where you need coin...now stuck...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Look behind that colour code machine Nokra.

    ReplyDelete
  117. nokra, when the bars are gone, you can find some letters behind the color-machine (i think left side).
Place the letters to figure out the 4-letter code.

    ReplyDelete
  118. For some reason, that is not activated yet...the 4 letter code box, wont work....so , I apparently missed something!
    I was going along swimmingly....then...nothing!
I guess I missed the other 3 letters for that 3X3 grid...but I don't know where to look!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Btw. Pop,
Can you help me on level 13 of that riddle game?

    ReplyDelete
  120. TY @pop and s-t!!!...I was clicking but didn't find anything, now I know and won't give up! lol

    ReplyDelete
  121. If interested, here the escape key code, how it looks on the key:
(click right to open link in a new tab)

    PICTURE LINK

    ReplyDelete
  122. nokra, you need 2 sets of letters. One from the box on the top shelf, above the color cans. The other from behind the color machine once you moved the bars.
Place both sets on the letter pillar and it should work. You probably need to read the whole book too.

    st, i went there.

    ReplyDelete
  123. i am now playing the first game from that site. has it been posted on eg24

    ReplyDelete
  124. http://www.escapegames24.com/2011/07/esc-01-esc-forest-walkthrough.html

    ReplyDelete
  125. Lol Premiere,
    Using imageshack now?
Anyway, that's not how I solved it.
I cut the middle part of the key out.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Thanks, so much guys!!!....yes, I did get out but not fast enough and had to retry...lol
    What a great Halloween game!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  127. help! I can't find the sd and the red hand of clock. And 3507 does'n't work on the bar door.

    ReplyDelete
  128. ok, I' m going to sleep. Thanks a lot...

    ReplyDelete
  129. doris, when you come back you have to read the book and look at the page with a=n etc.
Take 2nd half of the alphabet and put it under the 1st half on a piece of paper and you see the translation of the letters.
Read the thing in the wall using the flashlight:
    SVIR.FRIRA.SBHE.RVTUG
    This translates to:
    five.seven.four.eight
Use that code on the padlock.

    ReplyDelete
  130. doris,
3507 is the exit door code (not the bar door code)...
    - screwdriver in box behind bar door in (dark) tunnel
but first you need to find/do:
    - (mirrored) code on mirror above sink, opens 3-digit-box right of stairs for lighter
    SPOI6LER3SPOI2LER
    - use (activated) lighter on calendar for hint 24
    - put numbers according hint in book in panel right of calendar (solution see picture link in my comment above)
    - click enter & have a look in the dark tunnel
    - being back click enter again to lighten the tunnel
    - go to the bar door & take key (2x) from floor behind bars
    - open box in right niche for flashlight/torch
    - use torch in hole in left niche for coded number code
    - go to bar door & put in 4-digit-code according hint in the book (A=N, B=O etc. for numbers written in letters)
    SPO5ILE7RSP4OIL8ER
    - open padlock (click arrow up) & go find the sd
    - red clock hand behind screwed panel in middle niche (use sd)

    ReplyDelete
  131. OK, I'm totally stuck, I'm really feeling stupid.
Still can't get that damn safe open!

Yes, I figured out what shape ESCAPE makes on the 3x3 grid.
in English it's called a SPOILER

But what does this help me to solve the safe code?
I was at the same point as some guys here previously ('SCAP', 'RNDP', 'EAQC' ... all nowt.)

    ReplyDelete
  132. POP got it! Just give that said shape a wrong name (a generic one instead of the correct one) and the safe is open! Hooray!!

I'm a champion! (lol) You could also say, I'm ... ah, damn, now I've forgotten what to write;).

    ReplyDelete
  133. I dont think we ever wrote a spoiler for the 4-letter code, and there should be one if the explanations above are not clear.
The "escape" letters draw a shape on the letters, and this is the code.

    SPOILERSTARSPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  134. god I just miss out 1 letters piece of the 3x3 letter grid!
    Can anyone help?

    ReplyDelete
  135. oops i just found that...

    ReplyDelete
  136. EGDAWT especially this one!

If you watch the Prologue (I didn't the first time through) it appears that you were working late in a deserted office and needed to make some copies, but the copier was out of paper and the cupboards were bare. So you went downstairs and through a door, which slammed shut behind you. The door was locked! And your cell phone doesn't work! You're in big trouble now!

FIRST VIEW: zoom on kiosk (reddish pink stand under wall safe) and see the letters S,X, and Z with some empty spaces around them.
GO RIGHT to view with shelving and sink, etc.: You can check all the paint cans, but I'll tell you right now that this is a red herring. Zoom on the toolbox on the top shelf and remove a 3-letter tile (AVE).
GO BACK to the kiosk and place the 3-letter tile. Looks like you still have a space for three more letters.
GO RIGHT again and get ready for some fun. Zoom on the sink and turn on the water. Aiiiiiii! Not thirsty now, thank you very much.
Zoom on the mirror above the sink and click on it to break it. Is that your face? Now there is a code in the mirror which looks like SEa. But it's a mirror, so maybe the real code is a mirror image?
GO RIGHT TWICE and you'll see three arched alcoves. The one on the left has a bookcase and the book on the right side of the shelf is full of clues and advice.
*this is one of those games where you must view all of the clues before you can use them* so have a look at all of the pages.
GO LEFT and see a table flanked by a stairway on the left and a dark and scary hallway on the right. Zoom on the table. There is a box that requires a 3 digit code (SPOILERS later). Remembering the "MIRROR" clue from the book, enter the code, open the box, and remove the lighter which you have to click on in order to light it. Back up and look at the calendar. Since a flame is pictured on the calendar, go ahead and use the lighter on it. Looks like 1983 was one creepy year. But now the date "24" is circled.
Zoom on the keypad on the wall to the right of the calendar. Remember the clue from the book "30 =", and click on the squares to create a red 24. (@Premiere posted a picture link for this at 11:20 am on 10/15/11). Click the "Enter" bar and back out and zoom on the dark hallway. Once you're allowed to leave that scene, go back to the "24" keyboard and press "Enter" again. The red light goes out, the blue light comes on, and you see a cutaway scene.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Part 2
Go to the (now lighted) hallway and zoom on the barred door. On the floor on the lower right is a key on the other side of the door. Zoom there and take the key (if you dare!). Also, note that the door lock requires a 4 digit code. Back up and
GO RIGHT and zoom on the right hand arched alcove where there's a box on a table. Use the key to unlock the box and take the Flashlight/Torch. In the item closeup, click the white switch on the Flashlight and find that it has batteries!
Back up and zoom on the left hand arched alcove (where the clue book is) and zoom on the crack in the wall. Aside from finding that you're being watched by a demon, you can see that there are some letters, but it's too dark to see them. Use the Flashlight to see: SVIR~FRIRA~SBHE~RVTUG. From the clue book, we know that a red A corresponds to a blue N and so on. Using this clue, translate the red message you just saw. You'll get four numbers.
Go back to the barred door at the end of the hallway and enter the 4 digit code, then click on the red arrow to unlock the door. Back up, open the door, go inside and look in the wooden box. You now have a screwdriver!
GO RIGHT and zoom on the middle arched alcove. Use the screwdriver to remove the wall plaque, then take the red hour hand and the Hint.
GO RIGHT to the starting scene and zoom on the clock in the left hallway. Place the red hour hand on the clock, then use the red, blue, and green buttons to set the hands according to the SIX, HEAVEN, MOVIE hint, combined with the Roman numeral clock hint from the clue book. Open the door and take the Wrench.
Back up and zoom on the red Valve, which you can now remove using the Wrench.
GO RIGHT and place the red Valve on the bolt beneath the barred window. Click on the Valve to open the bars, then zoom on the machine with the color keys. You will need a coin for this.
Click on the lower left side of the machine to see that there is a 3-letter tile, QPC, behind it. Take the tile and return to the kiosk to complete the letters.
Now you should see "E-->E, You can't..." This one is very tricky! Think of the warning in the clue book to fill in the letters between the E's. Then look at the clue where there is a 9-place pad with a diagram on it and an equals sign followed by the word "Diamond" below it. Now trace the path made by the four letters you've chosen on the kiosk. What shape does that make?
On the Safe above the kiosk, enter the four-letter word that describes this shape. When you see "Open", back up and click on the handle to open the safe. Take the Coin and the Hint.
GO RIGHT to the color key machine and insert the Coin. Using the Hint think back to the last clue in the book: E. Now follow the numbers on the Hint to press the color keys. Press "Enter" and take the key.
Back up and you'll get a cutaway scene where all of the lights are turned off, except on the stairway, which is now lighted. Go there and click on the Red Arrow to go up to the Exit Door. Use the Key in the lock and then enter the 4 digit code (which you'll find on the key). Press "Enter" and you're out... or are you???

    ReplyDelete
  138. SPOILERS

3 digit code for box under calendar: SEa mirror image = 632.

4 digit code for barred door: use the alphabet clue under the flashlight picture in the clue book to translate SVIR~FRIRA~SBHE~RVTUG to five~seven~four~eight, or 5748.

Clock: the clue book shows what looks like a clock face with roman numerals. The clue SIX, HEAVEN, MOVIE refers to Seconds, Hours, Minutes. Each of the three clue words contains a roman numeral: SIX = IX, HEAVEN = V, MOVIE = VI. So the red hour hand is set at 5, the green seconds hand to 9, and the blue minutes hand to 6.

Kiosk and Safe: the clue "E-->E You can't..." refers to "you can't escape" from the clue book. The four letters "scap" come between the E's in the word "escape". Looking at the pattern of these letters on the kiosk, draw a line from S -->C --> A --> P and you should see a star pattern. So the four letter clue for the safe is STAR.

Color keys: The E in the clue book and the numbers on the hint refer to the position of the letter E in each of the color names. So Red = 2, Green=34, Orange=6, and Blue=4. Following the number clue on the Hint from left to right, the order in which the color keys should be pressed is OGBRGRO.

Four digit code for Exit door: Look at the key stem. At the end are two small red arrows indicating that the two sides of the stem should be combined. Doing this will give you 3507. For a Picture Link, see @Premiere's post at 11:43 am on 10/15/11.

  139. Hi all, thanks for the walkthrough.
And adding some more to the story (guessing from the Kanji parts),

30 years ago a man who worked in the very same building disappeared without a reason. Since then weird things start to happen from time to time.
The player paid little attention to the story (and hence forgot about it in the first place). S/he is having a second thought after being locked in...

    ReplyDelete
  140. ---SPOILER WARNING---

Ending: turned out the basement is where the company used to keep their safe and trade secrets.
The man, who was an employee back in time, tried to sneak in the basement and stole the goods but failed. He was seen on the security camera and the polices came by.
He locked himself in the basement, refuse to get arrested... so yeah, probably killed himself.
Afterwards people who know the true story behind spread the "missing man" rumor to avoid people going down the basement, to protect the valuables...
After the game they finally decided to block the door now. :p
