ReplyDeleteGL, L&G!
:-D
What "code box" in G? I found the map there. But there is nothing else there. I have moused over the whole screen but apparently have not gone over the correct pixel.
ReplyDeletefar back left corner of desk has the code box
ReplyDeleteI am kicking myself - right now!! I am having way too many "Duh" moments. The code box looks like a paper in the top left corner of the desk.
ReplyDelete@4red3s: on the table upper left side, click on the papers.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone find the green gem? It's all I'm missing...thought I checked everywhere!
ReplyDeleteMissing pink and green gem
ReplyDeleteSo safe in I.
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!!! I love it when people tell you which room to find the map in by telling you it is in a lettered room that you can only know if you have the map!!!!!! This seems to occur in nearly every SD game!!! lmao....
ReplyDeleteThanks @sonriente for the directions!
Whpresto the green gem is in I, in the safe.
ReplyDeletedid not see a comment about location of pink gem... where is it please?
ReplyDelete@michjean: pink gem is in C. Use first torch to find screws on door in the back
ReplyDeleteAnd out.
ReplyDeleteHave now green gem too - had a little trouble to open the dialing safe, lol
ReplyDeleteOut now too!
ReplyDeleteGood game!
help please, what is the code for the safe? Think the clou is the S-L-Y but i can´t get it.
ReplyDeletelol 1200 clicks but I'm out!
ReplyDeleteStill struggling with safe...tried S-L-Y as numbers of the alphabet but didn't work :(
ReplyDeletethought I got red gem from using SD... then where is red?
ReplyDeletePOP! Now to just find the safe somewhere in I or is it L?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the safe in I, please? I must be going blind. I can't find it.
ReplyDeletemichjean, it is in I, click on the right of one of the woodpanels
ReplyDeleteHello! I don't see a safe in I.
ReplyDeleteMight need to use flashlight to see it?
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone, safe is in "i" left side of bottom shelf on the right. Don't use flashlight.
ReplyDeletePOP! On the right hand side. On the second shelf down, there is a small hotspot. Click it and a door below opens.
ReplyDeleteyes, perhaps the slot opens by clicking it with the torch, i cant´t rember, but it was in the upper right
ReplyDeleteAh, I got it. It is in the right most part of the wall, lowest chapter. But I now don't know how to apply SLY.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments and help and ouT! Very good game SD!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all!!
ReplyDeletescrew driver in B

ReplyDeletemichjean please write a spoiler for the safe before leaving !!!!!
ReplyDeletered key i think was in A
ReplyDeletestart by turning the safe to the left, not right
ReplyDeleteS-L-Y turn dial right, left then right
ReplyDeleteThink Alphabet for safe.
ReplyDeleteI tried going right, left, right, but it didn't work for me...I had to go left, right, left. ODD!
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought it would be:
ReplyDeleteS - 19
L - 12
Y - 27
but no.
recount that Y ;)
ReplyDelete(y is the 25th letter of the alphabet :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps because Y - 25. d'on!
ReplyDeleteLol, my bad. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteQSonriente:
ReplyDeleteLeft 19
Right 12
left 25
thanks, stupid me ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't find where to use the gold key. anyone?
ReplyDeleteGold key for gem door.
ReplyDeleteI have all the gems except the green. Have a gold key but no gold keyhole. Don't know where to use the S-L-Y hint and don't know how to open the dial box in I
ReplyDeletethank you KK.
ReplyDeletecan someone say where the hint is for the box with colors?
Wow! Thx everybody
ReplyDeletethe hint for the colour box is in S on the window. Use the flashlight
ReplyDeletethank you al sal
ReplyDeleteal sal the SLY clue is for dial box... turn letters into numbers
ReplyDeletethanks for the dial sequence, i tried many combinations with 19 - 12 - 25, left right left is odd indeed
ReplyDelete...well, about the "map in g", I was thinking answering someone who got already the map but doesn't remember where - sry for confusion
nice game :)
I have no idea where the "gold" door is for the "gold" key. I have all six gems and the gold key. I wish there was crystal globe to use with this map. I am wandering around and around and around. Still a good game though. Too pixelly in several places. I loved using the flashlight and finding hidden items. SD games are always good, even if I can't finish all of them.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing.... The music is WONDERFUL! I want to not finish so I can keep listening.
ReplyDeleteIt happened again!!! I did not see that DOWN arrow in A when I began playing. I am such a dork today.
ReplyDeleteI am IN LUV with this Game!!! These Type Of Map Games Are My Fav, this one in particular was tricky and TONS of Fun!!!!
ReplyDelete786 clicks! Wow! I was counted. :-) Very nice game. I love the music. I wish I had better speakers on my computer.
ReplyDeletecan someone explain to me where the safe in i is ive looked everywhere is there a wya for someone to post a pic with the hotspot?
ReplyDeleteThe safe in I is sheer HELL to find!! On the extreme right hand side, top shelf there is one panel that's a hot spot. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteGosh, this was seriously tricky!! What a way to spend Halloween night! :) Thanx SD! AWESOME STUFF!
ReplyDeleteThanks for great game, SD !!! You gave us some tricks, so go and get yourself some treats !!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween !!
4red3s,
ReplyDeletehere's the music link (then you don't need to have the game open to listen...!)
;-D
(click right to open link in a new tab)
MUSIC
well it only took 1058 clicks for me to get out, but at least 900 of those were spent looking for the &^*^(*_%^# safe!
ReplyDeleteApparently, the monsters in the last game really did steal all the purple orbs.
Wow, Thanks Claudia and Selfdefiant.
ReplyDeleteThat was tricky excellent !
btw, thanks @Selfdefiant and @Claudia for the game. I especially liked the way we had to use the flashlight to find some things (mainly because it made me feel soooooo very clever when I figured that out!)
ReplyDelete@Premiere, thank you for the music link. I was wondering what the piece was and how on earth to find it, and then there you were - to the rescue.
1. Ive turned 19 times right, 12 times left, 25 times right... no
ReplyDelete2. right till 19, left till 12, right till 25.... no!
What am I NOT doing????!!!!!!
LRL
ReplyDelete1535 clicks...I am not too proud to say!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL..that was a toughie!!!!
Thanks @everyone for all the great comments...never would have probably even found the map by myself! LMAO!
I dont get color squares in R ...color code in book? Only 6 colors in book, 9 squares to change and none change to orange or pink? Help please?
ReplyDeleteKimbo....the colors in book are for the exit door and gems...( I was thinking like you, too) the color box clue found is by using the flashlight on a bathroom window....sorry I forgot which room it is!
ReplyDeleteOh ok, thanks sooo much nokra, lol
ReplyDeleteI feel dumb here....anyone here to tell me about a safe in I for green gem....I can't find a hotspot other than candle??
ReplyDeleteAha...thanks to Rachel's comment at 11:38!...got safe
ReplyDeleteCould anyone please tell me, where to find the yellow gem in H??? I can't find there nothing else, than the book with the color-code in it...
ReplyDeleteSven,
ReplyDeleteyellow gem also in book (page thru it, a bit tricky though)
THANKS @ premiere found it now...
ReplyDeleteAnd out! :-)
Thank you for the game, Selfdefiant - and Claudia for posting it.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, any game by Selfdefiant gets five stars from me simply by being posted!
I always know I'm going to enjoy playing =)
Thank you, premiere, for the music link. It's a beautiful piece, and so sad. I don't suppose you know the link for the Abandoned Studio game, by any chance?
Selfdefiant seems have a special talent for finding gorgeous music.
I need a talent for finding a better computer. I missed the pause button a lot in this game - Ugg kept freezing.
People do throw decent computers away, just never in my direction, haha.
Hi Rookwings!
ReplyDelete:-D
As I know, SD has most of the music pieces from the newsground site, but unfortunately I don't know the one from abandoned studio...
you may ask him yourself on his game site (melting mindz)...
Thanks, premiere.
ReplyDeleteYes, I found one on Newgrounds before that I fell in love with, and I've sort of hinted to him that I'd love to know what the Grim Asylum music is, but he didn't spill the beans. =)
I'll try asking him outright, eh?
;)
These SD games are getting way too pixel-hunt oriented. Ratings are way too high.
ReplyDeleteTrip Rather Aimlessly -Through
ReplyDeleteFirst off, go to room G for the MAP.
What, you don't know where G is? Just look at the MA... oh, um,
OK, go UP twice and look on the desk. There's the MAP. And you can click on it and see you're in G. Told you so.
There's a hotspot on the upper edge of the desk, a bit left of center, where you'll need a FOUR DIGIT CODE.
For now, go back DOWN ONCE and then RIGHT TWICE and UP to room H, where you'll see four digits on the wall of the stairwell. So, go back to G and enter these numbers in the box in the desk drawer and get a FLASHLIGHT (possibly, the most important tool in this game!).
Proceed DOWN and RIGHT to E and pick up the HAMMER lurking by the white door on the left.
Continue RIGHT to F and use the flashlight to go up to J. You'll see a safe with a rusty lock on the wall to the left. If you keep going UP, you'll come to a spot where you need a BLACK KEY. Come back to this later.
Go back to D and then UP through H... Oh, wait, if you use the FLASHLIGHT in H, you'll find a BOOK with hints and a YELLOW GEM.
That Super Sneaky Spy Guy definitely lives up to his name. Flashlight, indeed.
Keep going up to N (good idea to use your FLASHLIGHT as well as the normal view in each room), then LEFT to M, where you will find a VENT that seems strange. So smash it with the HAMMER and use the FLASHLIGHT to see and take the BLACK KEY.
Back to L, where you can use the BLACK KEY to get to P. There's a CROWBAR hiding in plain sight on the corner to the right of the window. Take it and continue RIGHT to Q. There's a KEY in the bathtub drain, but you need a screwdriver to get to it. So turn around and go back (Jeez, there's a lot of back and forth in these games!), pausing in J to use the CROWBAR on the wall safe. Take the RED GEM and note the clue: S-L-Y.
Now, return to A (just humor me, here) and use the FLASHLIGHT to take a look around. Whoa, a RED KEY! (Didn't I say the FLASHLIGHT is important?)
So now UP to C and left to B; there's a note that is indecipherable on the filing cabinet, but if you move the note and click on the drawer, you'll get the GREEN KEY. Also, look in the bottom left drawer and find the SCREWDRIVER. Now we're talking!
Part II
ReplyDeleteGo RIGHT through C and, while you're at it, have a look around with the FLASHLIGHT. AHA! There's a VENT on the door attached with rusty screws. Remove it using the SCREWDRIVER and take the PURPLE GEM.
Go all the way up to room T, where you'll find a WRENCH on the floor to the right.
Proceed to room O and pick up the LIGHTER behind the door leaning on the wall to the right and then use the GREEN KEY to access room S. Now, use the WRENCH to fix the sink drain pipe, then check the sink and find a BLUE GEM. Before leaving, best to have a look around with the FLASHLIGHT. When you do, you'll see a COLOR CODE on the window that can be used on the KEYPAD in room R :
B-G-Y
G-B-R
Y-R -B
You've gotta love that FLASHLIGHT.
Go to R and use the color code to get the ORANGE GEM.
Return to Q and use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the drain cover and get the SILVER KEY.
Go back to E and use the SILVER KEY to get into room I. There's a CANDLE on the front of the shelving - light it using the LIGHTER and take the GOLD KEY. Now the fun really begins. Because you get to find the exact, precise, pixel where you can click to open a SAFE! SO GO FOR IT! I'll wait.
Oh, all right, look at the bookcase shelf on the far right, second shelf from the top, fourth plank from the right - there's the hot spot. (You don't need the FLASHLIGHT for this). Click there and the SAFE will open below on the second shelf from the bottom.
Now use the FLASHLIGHT to see the COMBINATION LOCK. Remember the S-L-Y clue? In alphabetical order, S=19, L=12, and Y=25. So the combination is 19, 12, 25. The directions are sort of counterintuitive, though, so do this: click the LEFT ARROW above the combination until it rests at 19, then click the RIGHT ARROW until the dial rests at 12, then LEFT ARROW again to 25. Click on the safe lever and take the GREEN GEM.
Go back to A (where you started) and click the DOWN arrow. Place the six GEMS on the door in the order specified by the book you found (clockwise, beginning at 12 o'clock: Y, P, O, R, G, B). A keyhole will appear and you can use the GOLD KEY to open the door and leave. And you can see how many clicks it took you to get out! I think Escape Gamers must have the most fit clicker fingers of anyone, anywhere. For what that's worth.
my safe doesn't open...
ReplyDeleteok, I made mistake.
ReplyDelete@zoz -- Many, many thanks! The comments from the early players weren't much help, but your WT rocks! I couldn't even find the safe in the map room!
ReplyDeletecan anyone explain hoow to use the wrench in S ?

ReplyDeleteThe flashlight is in room G.
ReplyDeleteThere you can click the top left of the desk to see a code-box.
Use 3576 (that was on the wall in room K) to open that box and there's your flashlight.
