ReplyDeleteAnd yet again, the normal end is more satisfying than the "perfect end" (although you don't use the hammer).
The princess looks like a hamster to me. lol
ReplyDeleteThe difference between the normal and perfect ends is how you open the castle door. Use the emblem above the door for normal. Break in with the hammer for the perfect(?) end.

ReplyDeleteLiterally clicked each and every millimeter of the thorny castle with my swallow highlighted, but can't get in!!! Also left with top green bug, rat, symbol and hammer.

@ginger. You need to get the caterpillar to eat the thorns first. Sorry, I cant remember how i got the caterpillar.
ReplyDeleteThe caterpillar comes from the hole in the tree. You need a ladder to get there.

ReplyDeleteAlready had the caterpillar in my inventory, but got deluded by someone's comment that the swallow was needed to get into the castle...
Out with normal end, which puzzles me...getting in with the hammer (so with violence) gives perfect end?

ReplyDeleteTake the fishing pole on the left side of the screen.
Click on the door in the middle and get the cup from the counter.
notice the keyhole on the left.
Go back and turn left.
Take the pickaxe from the left side and fill the cup under the pump.
Turn right twice.
Notice the bananas. Pick up the ladder on the right.
Turn right
Pick up the fishing net from the stal and the key on the right.
Turn right twice.
Enter the door and open the drawer with the key. Take the saw.
Leave the building and turn right 3 times.
Remove the stones above the waterline with the pickax.
Use the fishing rod to catch the fish in the water.
Give the fish to the cat on the right. It will give you a hammerhead.
Turn right.
Give the cup of water to the swallow and take it.
Turn right.
Put the ladder at the tree and take the caterpillar.
Use the saw to get the hammerend from the other tree. Combine with hammer.
Use the net to catch the flying bug. Turn left and back to make it fly again.
Turn left 5 times and click on the balloon to make it drop the bananas.
Turn right 3 times.
Give the bananas to the monkey. Take the green bug.
Turn right twice and let the green bug eat the plants on the castle.
Turn left 6 times and feed the caterpillar to the raven.
Take the medal.
Turn right 3 times and send the swallow into the hole to get the rat.
Turn right 3 times. Make the swallow fly to the castle with the rat.
The door of the castle can be opened by placing the medal above the door (normal end) or by smashing the door with the hammer (perfect end).
Send the rat to the princess (hamster) on the bed.
If you chose the normal end, the princess and the rat wil fall in love.
If you chose the perfect end the rat will fall down a hole in the floor.

When falling through the hole he is free to go find other adventures.

ReplyDeleteAdditonal note: you do NOT need the swallow to get the rat. I hadn't the bird yet, but could get the rat off the hole anyway.

@arbeitslooser, I think the comment was that you need to have the rat (and have the green caterpillar/"bug" eat the vines) before the bird will go into the castle.
ReplyDeleteConfusing, because there's a fat green caterpillar and then the yellow skinny caterpillar/"bug" (that you feed to the raven)
