x=-2 gives f(3)=8, but don't work in safe with other digits
Go figure :P
we have played a game like this before...was the start positions from the diamonds with the big part up..and that was also the number 1 position ?

ReplyDeletewhen you turn all crosses to rights, it opens the levers puzzle and when you solve it, the safe with 6th diamond and a note opens. i think.

ReplyDeleteDoh. I was doing so well but the numbers clues have defeated me.
ReplyDeleteFor the number code you have to get x-1/x+1 to equal 3 because it asks for f(3)=?. the only way this will work is if x=-2. when you put that into x^2-x+2 it gives f(3)=8. So The clue on the tv has ??25816 so you get 8825816.
