  47. Jules,
Put the base of the drum between the squirrels, then the skin on it and then the rope and then give them the 4 drumsticks.

  48. Walkthrough:

The start sequence is nothing if not dramatic, and shows you a couple in a park.
The game's description on EG24 is a little awry. [Perhaps the translator has been celebrating?]
The couple have NOT been in the park a long time, just realised they were madly in love so started kissing; they haven't MET for a long time. They kiss because they have missed each other.
At the stroke of twenty-to-eight they are disturbed by a peeping tom warlock [Merlin's evil twin?] and his pet three-headed beast called "Tiddles, Tiddles and Tiddles" who certainly does NOT "captivate" the girl half of the couple - he CAPTURES her - she clearly hates his guts for this misdeed and he has to cart her off in a transparent kiwi fruit for added evilness and sneakiness [and a fresh fruity flavour].
You should have minded your own business, because you somehow become involved, and are the only being who can help the boy rescue this girl to reunite the tragic couple.

You are transported to a yellow-skied place with very melancholy music playing and a group of standing stones [like stonehenge, only made with a better chisel].
    Start investigating.
Click the red alarm clock on the left and collect a battered-looking sword, a drum stand and a "showel" which turns out to be a shovel [large type of spade].
Note the little figure embedded in the tree and that you seem to have lost two hours and twenty minutes at least by coming here.
There is a bright patch on the grass in the background.

From the main scene, zoom in on the standing stones on the left side and see some very dismal little "funny sunflowers" bracketed by their leaf stalks to the stones. [I dread to think what "unfunny" ones are like.]
There is a right half human male figure [called "half woman"] in yellow on the stone behind the front flower.
    Click to get it.
There are holes in the stones above each flower.
Check out the same on the right stones. These flowers are drawn a bit carelessly and are bracketed to thin air. [Think of these poor individuals the next time you bind your clematis to the trellis!]
Get the "half man" figure which looks like a half woman.
In the background between the stones is a white object. Click it and get four drumsticks and another battered sword.
In the foreground on the right is a crowbar and another battered sword to get.
On the left the foreground has a stone and yet another sword.
Click on the dragon to zoom in and get another stone, a rope and a skin [drum skin].

Go back to the alarm clock area and place the half-humans with confused genders onto the shape in the tree.
A further two hours whizz by and two squirrels arrive with two dice.
Put the drum stand between them, add the skin and then the rope.
Distribute the drumsticks between them and they play a really nice jungly rhythm [sadly, much too short] to call some friends.
Gather them up into your inventory [bee, butterfly, dragonfly and bird].

Back to the standing stones and post the four raggedy swords into the holes in the stones above the flowers [which explains their dreadful condition, I should think]
Turn each knife to release a sunflower and place one of your four creatures beside it. The creature will "sing" Happy New Year to it in a very cute and funny little spoken voice. This cheers the sunflower up hugely and its smile will beam with delight! It looks unreasonably happy now and you can pick it up.

Drop them all by the bright patch behind the alarm clock, give them the shovel and they will use combined effort to dig out a patch of earth.
Click the hole and a barrel pops up.
Whack the end of it with the crowbar and four fire crackers [ small rocket fireworks] fall out.
Gather your sunflower friends back up.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Walkthrough part two:

Now zoom in on the four holes in the foreground and place one of the sunflowers by the holes. Pass him the crackers one at a time and give him the two stones. He lights the fireworks and they summon a Book Eagle [eh? no origami was harmed in the making of this game].
Get your sunflower pyromaniac friend back and then return to the eagle.
Place the dice on his book back which performs some magic on the centre of the standing stones.
Things in this area get magic energy spheres and lines, and that nasty writhing green hydra/vine hybrid effort is brought under control and two tendrils form a door outline.
    A whole door appears.
Get the dragon flag from the door.

Click the door now to open a portal between your land here and the park. Boy steps through, and, unless you did the trick with the superglue and the eyelids, he is looking incredibly bewildered. Mind you, who wouldn't?

Zoom in on the dragon, arrange the sunflowers at his feet and pass them the dragon flag.
They transform into four small energy orbs and then assemble into one large one, working on the dragon who, it seems, was a stone dragon before. He is golden brown now and breathing.
Click him and the music suddely ups-tempo, the dazed boy wanders over to the dragon, climbs onto it and takes off.
The dragon arrives on a beach behind a green ugly fat thing wielding a hammer. This guy looks as though he never mastered the power of speech, but you need his hammer. His temper doesn't look good.
Click dragon and he will incinerate Fatty's head. He evaporates away, leaving just his mallet and a bright patch of sand in a circle.
Click the circle and the boy [who still obviously has no idea what is going on] will smash the centre with the mallet.
Two chunky-looking characters turn up out of a shining elliptical
portal over the sea, bearing an enormous chest [called a "palanquin", which is a covered passenger carriage or litter carried on poles used in southern asia] on a pole.

Click either the carriage or the guys to cause them to vanish [or be beamed up by Scotty].
Click the symbols on the side of the carriage to see the dragon's reaction. He gets agitated when a sign is correct, nodding his head and flapping his wings.
The symbols turn red and the side opens.
Grab the collossal weapon out of the opening and it closes again.
Your wide-eyed boy remounts the dragon, so click them and they fly off [into the portal, I think. I had my head buried in WordPad at the time, doing this.] X(

Scene changes to a thundery sky, your girl trapped in a magic sphere and Tiddles, Tiddles and Tiddles turning up to guard her.
My first assumption that he was a dragon prove false when he quite obviously is a mere three-headed myhtical serpent, so when you click first the dragon to attack him, then one of the three heads, you discover that yours is the superior creature for battle.
Dragon flames blaze forth, consuming two of the serpent heads, while the snake's retaliation is met with a nimble jink by the dragon, out of the line of fire.
When one head is left, Tiddles goes slithering off to find Daddy, who rides him back to the thundery arena.
Click the boy and he turns and holds out his hand, waiting for the sword. Finally! He's found the plot! =)
With so much animation, my computer went a bit crazy with timing, so I'm not sure how you click through the fight, but I only clicked about three times.
    Watch the ending.

Returned to the park scene, the couple stand staring at each other gormlessly.
The clock behind them turns out to be a clock of years, so you see the last two or three months flash past to get to 2012!
Those two are still standing there!
No, it isn't your job to teach them the facts of life, you are safe from that ;)

There's a lot of thought and a heck of a lot of work gone into this beautiful game, and the message at the end is incredibly sweet and generous emotionally.
Thank you, 123BEE, I wish the same for you =)

  50. I forgot to say to pick up the dice when they drop down by the squirrels, sorry!
    I spelt "mythical" wrong, too.

mrtelcom, I think those squirrels are allergic to mallets [or something like that] ;)
