  2. nope, looks like Babe Ruth. Got another from Ty Cobb ( who was apparently a real S.O.&$^)(!

  5. Impossible to play without a deep baseball knowledge.

  6. I have 7 letters 2 notes

  7. excuse me, but Ozzie Smith is only at #58 on the all time best players list??? pffft!

    ReplyDelete
  8. ok used the bat to break the glass and now have 4 letters. Still stuck.

  9. I don't know that you need that much baseball knowledge - the green cards are scorekeeping for the 9 innings, but I don't know if you have to know what each symbol means, yet.
I'm glad you guys are here!

    ReplyDelete
  10. @roberto, where did you find 7 letters? I only have 4: B, O, U, D. Have you found keys for the desk and the locker?

    ReplyDelete
  11. ok, had to put baseballs in order of greatness, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Turn on PC and play 2 trivias. Got them by try and error.

    ReplyDelete
  13. zoz, I was thinking of you as I had to eat my way through
a raccoon on the last game, to escape, bad bad

But not being a US citisian, I cannot play this game ;-)

    Tesshi, where are you?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Now I have to put 9 papers in that field, but stuck.
Stuck in 3x3 green grid too.

  15. *citizen, you say tomatoes, I say tomatoes...

  16. I take back what I said @roberto. The Baseball Trivia quiz even uses the dreaded infield fly rule! So here's a SPOILER for the Trivia Q:

    b,a,c,a,b,a,c,c,b,b

@Morgan I don't know which is worse; that you ate a raccoon or that it made you think of me!

    ReplyDelete
  17. those baseball trivia games took me forever to finish.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Baseball ?! No thanks, I'm out.
Hang on, this could be misunderstood ... I'm outta here!

    ReplyDelete
  19. zoz, I would never eat raw raccoon, yewww
And the infield fly rule sucks!

    ReplyDelete
  20. ok I have 7 letters now too.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Morgan Tesshi is probably working on his/her upcoming game. I think it's only natural that this extremely well-done design does take some time. (I would even take 2 weeks alone to just THINK about good puzzles, you bet it's hard if you don't just go copying others' ideas)

    ReplyDelete
  22. arbeitslooser, ya think Tesshi will use the infield fly rule ?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ok, SPOILERS for the trivia quiz:

    b,a,c,b,c,a,b,b,a,c

If you thought Lou Brock held the record for stolen bases, you're an old timer and/or a St. Louis Cardinals fan. I knew Orel Hershiser's record (it was actually 59 and a half innings) because I was there when he did it :oD

  24. I give up this one. Not worth learning the rules of a so complex game just to play an escape game.

    ReplyDelete
  25. roberto, in GAA you can pick up the ball, sport sorted.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Is there a specific order we are supposed to put the nine papers on the field?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hehehehe who's on first!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Morgan What? It has now been used by this author so Tesshi will think about another puzzle! AFAICS Tesshi has never copied ideas grown on others' brains, due to the thought of preserving a certain "quality standard".

  30. I can't believe they even got Abbott and Costello in on this. Unfortunately, the damn pieces of paper with, "who, what" etc are too small to read, which is making me wish I'd gone with Ainars first.

    ReplyDelete
  31. arbeitslooser, I love you too :p, but it's time to give this
escapers head some rest, see all of you in the morning
    sweet escaping dreams lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. And impossible to put in place half the time :/

    ReplyDelete
  33. Btw,

    TWASU

    Tesshi Will Always Surprise Us

    lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. I quit. Too fiddly for me. The missing player's name should read "Nobody", if anyone cares.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I give up. It's impossible to get What on second base and I Don't Know on third, and on and on. Too bad, because this was one I could actually relate to (but don't even show me an American football game;{

    ReplyDelete
  36. btw @Nooms, if you check in later, and if you care to look, I did a take-off of Who's On First on my zozblog some time ago, after a particularly confused exchange amongst EG gamers.

    ReplyDelete
  37. finally escaped. It took way too much researching though. I don't think I ever want to score a baseball game after that.

    ReplyDelete
  38. And all I got after I finished was a bad recording of the take me out to the ball game song. Oh well, I guess I was entertained for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I know you gonna cure me, but I hate baseball... well, in my continent we ain't no have it at all... So this is the most nationlist game ever! God bell ya all;-) If ya know what I mean...

  44. To Unknown:
A zip code is an american thing. Like a post code in england, it's a kind of serial number for the exact place of an address - another way of making sure post gets to someone.
I'd better play this game and see why you asked...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hang on - "this game has everything to do with baseball..." ????
Perhaps I won't play it, haha.

    ReplyDelete
