    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  49. for blue gem in G (piano):

    - numbers in letters

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hello! Thanks Self-Defiant for this new game, I love them!

I'm sure we need the arrow sequence from K to open the safe in T, but I don't see how it works... Someone got it?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Box in O opens from hint in book (P=purple)e.t.c

    ReplyDelete
  52. still trying to work out the wheel

    ReplyDelete
  54. i'm wondering if the wheel operates the way the doors open on the cabinet...up, down, left or right?

    ReplyDelete
  55. i think its got to do with the side on which the cabinet doors open.... still trying!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Deni: I tried that but nothing... but maybe I did some mistake, gonna try it again :-)

    ReplyDelete

Thanks doris.. I swore I tried that, but will give it another go

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yeah, I tried that and opposite of that, still not working.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Orange gem in J? I see nothing... neither with nor without the flashlight.

    Where is it?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I tryed it too many times. I even took the lever down each time, but nothing...

    ReplyDelete
  63. and I guess there is the 7th gem in there, and we are all stuck!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. btw, for the wheel, we can only turn in one direction, right?

    ReplyDelete
  65. mhthyr: for piano is the 6 digit code, replace each number by the letter (a=1, b=2 etc.)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Valerie, there's a box on the wall, left side. Use screwdriver to open it

    ReplyDelete
  67. POP got it! :) Somewhere on the wall to the left.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Valérie,
orange in panel on left wall in J, use SD from O

    ReplyDelete
  69. piano bfdacg
Please Selfdefiant! Help us get out!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Maybe the doors were too hard? It worked for me but that doesn't mean anything. You have to use the direction of the doors to point the arrow on the handle, then press the lever each time. I will give the solution in case I wrote it down wrong. Left, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Up, Right. I will fix it if it's wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  71. the lines start top left and end top middle

we only have l,r,d,u nothing in between
I tried to top left as going "right" but not working
I tried to ignore the "odd" ones also not working

    ReplyDelete
  72. Morning ev1 Diddlydi here aka Diana LOL it is freezing here in Oregon this morning good day to escape a loony bin :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. we re gonna stay in room T forever...
Isn't small tool here? I'm sure he'd know what to do...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thank you, it worked! I would have never thought to use the directions of the doors... Those arrows were too attractive. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ok, I fixed it. So sorry, the code I posted earlier will work unless you refresh. I left one out. It should be Left, Down, RIGHT, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Up, Right.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thx, Selfdefiant!
I tried L-D-R-L-D-R-U-L-U-R with pulling lever each time & that didn't work...

    ReplyDelete
  77. I thought I did use the direction of the doors.. but for me, the 1st and 3rd door are definitely opening in the different direction. (just to be clear, the first door is top left?)

    ReplyDelete
  78. And out! Thank you again SD for that help (and the whole game).

    ReplyDelete
  79. ah, refreshing...!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Selfdefiant
your solution works but if one has to start at top left cb then it is not quite right it should be
    L,D,R,L.... etc
    pls check

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  82. Think of the arrow on the gear only as up, down, left and right. Don't use the arrows in the cupboards, the direction of the doors.

    ReplyDelete
  83. awkward question... what do I do with all the gems?

    ReplyDelete
  84. ha! out now. thank you Selfdefiant!

    ReplyDelete
  85. There is a face in a window in D, see it?

    ReplyDelete
  86. and out
thanks for coming to our rescue

    ReplyDelete
  87. oh no.. we have to put the gems in the right places?? I didn't note down anything *lol*
Only managed to place yellow gem in A

    ReplyDelete
  88. lol mhtyhr - you have to go through the whole house again

    ReplyDelete
  89. Ok, thank so much! I was using the arrows until now, that's why it didn't work

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks Morgan.
    Out now!

just out of curiosity, have those places for gems always been there, or they've only appeared when we collectd all the gems?

Oh, and thanks Selfdefiant for keeping an eye on us :p

    ReplyDelete
  91. & out!
    Thx, Selfdefiant,
for fixing (we were smart, indeed, but not the wheel, LOL).
& Thx, L&G, for our teamwork!
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yay that was really fun L&G.

  97. hmm. I missed the green gem somewhere. Anybody know where the green gem is?

    ReplyDelete
  98. without the map dont know what room is A is it the main room with revolving door locked with strange force ?

    ReplyDelete
  99. gear clue for t was confusing, thanks for the clarification SD. Great game, Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  100. Btw, Selfdefiant,
I found it a clever hint (& not too hard) for the arrow wheel!
& a little request: Is it possible to make the black bar showing descriptions of the items etc. a bit smaller? IMHO, sometimes it's just disturbing till it fades out & clicking closing X interrupts the game flow...

    ReplyDelete
  101. @ premier.. if you are still here, I wanted to thank you for all of your walkthroughs! I so appreciate them - thanks for all of the help! :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. diana,

    ReplyDelete
  107. Silla. You need wrench to turn vale for green key in R. For purple use flashlight in D

    ReplyDelete

  111. I got six gems and do we need another one? I thought I solved all quits

    ReplyDelete
  112. Also can anyone tell me what to use to get the silver key in N, I have found the hotspot but neither Hammer or Crowbar help.

    ReplyDelete
  113. mtnbkr. Oh for craps sake. I had it but there is so much inventory it was like two screens over. Thanks. Derp.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Silla. No tool needed for that one. Just slide the panel down

  123. Anita,
there's no gem order. After collecting all gems, go thru rooms again (with bought crystal) to find the gem slots.
    - purple gem in D (use crowbar from A, need lantern)

    ReplyDelete
  124. Kimbo thank you. I clicked it, didn't slide until you replied.

    ReplyDelete
  125. @Premiere...Thank you... have purple gem. Is there a pink one? Also, there's a face on wall in C in case anyone is wanting to know :)

    find orange gem first...

    ReplyDelete
  132. Very nice puzzle with the cabinets and arrow dial SD. It was fun to see.

    Pahs

    ReplyDelete
  133. @Anita, you need to find all 7 gems, then go through the house again to find the spots in which to put them.

    @oo,
I think one of the comments above has the code for T.
It's going according to the way the locker doors in K opens (starting from top left locker)

    ReplyDelete
  134. Another great game. I love the creepy ones. Allthough I had to use some help for this one. I never thought of using the doors as hint. Btw, could it be possible to put the text somewhere under the picture area?

    ReplyDelete
  135. OMG! I totally missed that one! You are da bomb Premiere! Thanks so much!!! And, Thank You SD for these AWESOME games!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  155. ok am guessin I am the lamest one of all tryed the up down etc and then the east west method for wheel hit the lever between every turn and still !! Not a thing what am I doing wrong? U means the arrow is at the top as would it be north too right ?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Holy s... You gotta hit the switch between each crank of the gear.. Drove me nuts!! That was the worst.. :(

    ReplyDelete
  157. I refreshed long ago when suggested to do so still a no go this is a first for me that I feel so bad not to finish a SD game :(

    ReplyDelete
  158. diana,
at that arrow wheel was a bug - SD fixed it. You may refresh the game (unfortunately you will loose all your notes on map...), if you are playing the non-fixed version.
    NON-FIXED: L-D-L-D-R-U-L-U-R
    FIXED: L-D-R-L-D-R-U-L-U-R
with pulling lever in between each move.

    ReplyDelete
  159. diana,
you may go back & zoom in again to start a totally new sequence... (otherwise, there still could be the previous non finished one...)

    ReplyDelete
  160. Gosh, if I had only found that hotspot with the flashlight, I would have solved this AGES ago. Flip sakes, I don't know why I am missing obvious things in these games lately!

    Awesome stuff again, Self Defiant!!

    ReplyDelete
  161. Well what do you know thanks again I had refreshed and yet the old code worked go figure

    ReplyDelete
  162. If interested, here's how the CB door sequence looks like:
(click right to open link in a new tab)

    CB DOORS OPENING SEQUENCE

    ReplyDelete
  163. well sorry to say this is not a score to even mention lol very sad

    ReplyDelete
  164. diana,
for me, having fun in a game (or also sometimes tearing my hair, LOL) & esp. playing live, that's important, not the points...

    ReplyDelete
  165. The Wheel in T!?!?!?!? I used how the doors open as reference as the $&^% wheel only has four directions.

First I used only the door directions that had red arrows inside: Left, Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Down, Right. Pressing the lever after each turn. Because there are two Lefts next to each other and clicking the wheel only makes it go around.

That did not work. I am so frustrated with this that I will have to walk away on this one. Life is too nasty already to have a game get me down.

But thank you as always for a lovely game. Please don't use the puzzle in room T again. Or if you do put it early in the game so I can avoid playing.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Thanks SD for another great game. That "T" room clue had me going for awhile. I'm one who writes everything down and I copied exactly how the arrows went. I was so proud of myself.....only your wheel didn't have a southeast or northeast arrow. Went a little bonkers there for awhile. Once explained, however, made perfect sense. Still so much fun. No one else compares, seriously!

    ReplyDelete
  167. Well it doesn't matter which sequence I use it still does nothing!! What exactly are we supposed to click in the dial?? I've tried the L which would be like 9 on a clock, then D which would be like 6 on a clock, R which would be like 3 on a clock etc - Is that right or am too totally blonde???? Help

    ReplyDelete
  168. Premiere, I also want to send a great big thanks to you. I appreciate all your tips, hints, and suggestions. I'm starting to get a feel for how these games work, but still consider myself a "babe in the woods".

    You are one awesome gamer!

    ReplyDelete
  169. DoziCowGurl- check out Premiere's 10:30 am post. I had to use the fixed code so I'm thinking that would work for you as well.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Many many blessings to you Premier for the visual hint on that wheel. That was insane. Too much puzzle within a puzzle. Now to find where to put the gems.

And thanks again SD for always a super job. You make my day even when I get mad. Because if I hang around here long enough, someone comes to the rescue.

I hope everyone has a blessed year.

    ReplyDelete
  171. @lamb777
Hello - I've tried both sequences given here, pressing the lever after each turn, but neither work for me - I've never been this stumped on an SD game before - perhaps someone could post a pic of the dial and the sequence to press ????

    ReplyDelete
  172. Oh SD... some days ago I stumbled onto some pics of deserted prisons whilst on tumblr and so thought of you and here you are offering a new spooky game :-).

    Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  175. Restarted the game from the beginning and still couldn't do the wheel in T!

Do you have to open the lockers first? I did that too!
