ReplyDeleteOh I hate getting stuck...lol!!!! After cutting thread the first time, I put gloves on *I do not know if that made a difference..but*, then when looking over the side of the balloon at the water, I highlighted the thread again and was able to cut the thread further...looks like it is tied in different places but numerous combinations of things have not moved me past this point....pfffftttt!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood evening Lydia, Escape, Shannon and Lottie :) Looks like we are all floating at sea with roasted potatoes and various other items, and a cat who has been no help at all...lol!!!!
Oh...well this is strange but I zoomed in on the lighter, highlighted the knife and clicked beside the lighter and it knocked the top that says *SIPPO* off...the zoomed in view was of the lighter lit....!!! @.@ So far, this game is not a happy place but maybe after 400 more clicks I will stumble onto another solution....lol!!!! How is everyone else progressing...I hope you haven't deserted me ;)

Okay...zoom in on *SIPPO* and then highlight lighter and click and voila....*SIPPO* is turned into a red square; then, use knife again and a movie runs, showing the knife carving a hook out of the red square...lol!!! Clever trick...hahaha!!!! Zoom in on hook and then highlight plastic pieces and they magically attach to the hook and that is as far as I have gone....back to the drawing board...

ReplyDeleteHi Lizzy...I am hopelessly stuck.... :/ I have attached the hook and plastic pieces to the string and have tried to cut the potatoes, light the potatoes on fire...I have gone so far as to try to light the cat on fire, hook the cat and stab the cat...oh, and tried to strangle the cat with the gloves on...lolol!!!!! Nothing seems to be working...sheesh!!! Disclaimer: I would never hurt an animal in real life....!

I am probably overlooking the obvious, but I clicked on the cat with the string,hook and plastic pieces highlighted, but this bloody cat is not fishing...lol!!!! The lighter does not attach to the hook and string...what am I missing?

I think I misplaced my brain because this should not be this difficult ;) I highlighted the string w/ hook and then clicked on all loops with lighter *just in case I missed something*, and I cannot get the idiot lighter to attach....you attached the hook and plastic pieces to the string and then attached the lighter, yes?

ReplyDeleteAfter you catch two fishes, click on the roll of thread to view, then click the knife (thread will become detached)
ReplyDeletehighlight the detached thread and click the fishes (it will tie) them up and put them in your inventory.
click on the tied fished and then click the ocean. (you'll see a funny movie)
give the potatoes to the fisherman. He'll give you options in kanji. click the" "left" option, click the potatoes for trade
Oh for crying outloud....thank you @Hootie, I think...lol!!!! Restarting and hoping to fish... :)

@Riove zoom on lighter and break off top with knife, then zoom on top and use lit lighter to heat it, and use knife while still zoomed to make hook

ReplyDelete@Riove...to carve the hook you must first zoom in on the lighter, then click on knife and you will see the knife knock off the top that has *SIPPO* written on it *I believe lighter must be opened and light flame, then use knife*; you must then zoom in on gloves and click to attach gloves to hands, then you zoom on the SIPPO top, and click lighter to turn it red, then you can use the knife to carve the hook. I hope that makes sense :) VERY IMPORTANT: BEFORE you attach the hook/plastic pieces combo to the string, you must attach the lighter first, otherwise you will have to restart the game. Thanks to Hootie for this great find :)

How do you cut the lines?
knife with lighter? -- no interaction for me
The gray square I took the lighter out of? -- doesn't turn red or do anything with the knife either ...
knife with string? -- ditto
very frustrating and no apparent point ...
put on gloves -- how? I can look at them only

ReplyDeleteI found that it's not a matter of use lighter before the hook but that the lighter must be off so don't switch it on again after having made the hook or you'll be not able to switch it off and must restart.

3 end - don't give fisherman potatoes, give them to old woman (house behind trees), buy ticket, go home by train
4 end - give fisherman potatoes, take fish, sell fish, buy tickets (better than before), go home by train

then cut plastic bag, cut thread, open another time thread and cut it, click on strings
click on gloves and click again to put on
click on lighter, open it
click on lighter with knife and look at animation (we have top "zippo" in inventory)
click lighter to have fire and put lighter on "zippo", when is red, use knife on to have a hook...
hope is clear

ReplyDeleteopen string (click on first) put on lighter, add plastic pieces/hook
and click in sea to catch 2 fishes
Puzzled, I had to click the "Movie" button to continue the descent after cutting the balloons loose.. you might try that.
