    ReplyDelete
  29. how to get out of empty room? I've tried typing stairs or staircase but nothing....

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  74. seawall in upstairs with boarded windows kind of tricky to find room

  79. Document with password doesn't turn over for me. Is that the page with the directions?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks premiere

    ReplyDelete
  81. @bob, directions are on the envelope

    ReplyDelete
  82. Bob & Stacy,
password paper has only one page (doesn't turn).

    ReplyDelete
  83. nvmd. figured out the directions are on the back of the envelope.

    ReplyDelete
  84. in secret alley found alley with boards and another alley but no grid

    ReplyDelete
  85. What's with the screw on the floor upstairs that you can't pick up? In Chapter 3; stuck again and went back to the Toten house to see if I could pick it up; couldn't.

    ReplyDelete

  89. Finally got to the end with all the helps and tips. Great game!

    ReplyDelete
  90. - after secret passage, you'll see guards under a red bow, go there to the right (between the houses) for coin (in bucket)
    - back & go right (you'll already see the crates far in the front, go forward & there's the grid

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  95. What to do after you used the coin in the tunnel?
There's some kind of blue force field.

    ReplyDelete
  96. s-t,
look left of the field (left of plant) & use crowbar on the wires.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Oops, it was in the comments (thanks Ashleigh_the_B). Zoom in on the left side of the force field to use the crowbar there.

    ReplyDelete
  98. And thanks Lasers and Premiere.

    ReplyDelete
  99. small tool, go to left side of force field, use crow bar on wires

    ReplyDelete
  100. Where's the pass to get through gate?

    ReplyDelete
  101. puzzledinCA: which gate?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Great game, but that's always with Mateusz Skutnik.

Not sure what gate you're talking about PuzzledinCa?

    ReplyDelete
  103. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Puzzled,
if you mean at first chapter, go most right (more right than exploded truck), you'll find a paper at the box (mural fence)

    ReplyDelete
  105. @premiere -- That paper got me into the tower- but now I still have the paper have 2 photographs (but can only see one) and envelope.
Need either a key for the car or some way to go through gate on far left.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Guess it's the "first chapter", as I haven't seen any chapter headings.

    ReplyDelete
  107. PuzzledinCA,
The car key is in the top left drawer. You also need a hat and an uniform and then you can use the car to go throught the gate on the left.

    ReplyDelete
  108. THanks @small-tool -- could have sworn I clicked all over there! (had hat and coat, but they're not sitting in inventory, so forgot to mention)

    ReplyDelete
  109. I've used the crowbar to get a small key, and now I'm totally stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  110. pdgph,
Use the small key on one of the mail boxes (I think the left ones) to get a door handle.
Use that on the door on top of the stairs and there go to the roof to look.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Thank you Small Tool ! I tried to open the mailboxes with the crowbar, and not with the small key...

    ReplyDelete
  112. I cant find the crowbar ?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Patz,
when you go out thru door at the mailboxes, there's a shed middle right side, where you'll find crowbar.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I've climbed on the roof and seen the house. There are soldiers in front of it.
    I've found a "cachet", now what ?

    ReplyDelete
  115. pdgph/Pascale,
back from passage with bucket, where you found cachet, go right & forward to crates, use crowbar at grid, down ladder & put cachet in slot

    ReplyDelete
  116. @pdgph, look through scenes kind of on right side until you find an alley with boxes and an arch-way covered with a grate.

    ReplyDelete
  117. thank you premiere , but to my surprise i have not seen any mailboxes either ! got uniform, car key but won't let me take it for a spin.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I somehow missed Covert Fronts 1, 2, and 3, so have some serious game playing to do!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Thanks a lot, Premiere and PuzzledinCA ! I surreptitiously pulled out a big metal grate, and now I'm in a submachine-like tunnel (:

    ReplyDelete
  120. @Patz, you're still in chapter 1 -- there's no crowbar there. Look at picture/envelope and turn envelope over. You also need hat (both from scene where you got the key)

    ReplyDelete
  121. Patz,
you also need officer hat (same room as car key)

    ReplyDelete
  122. Shame on you PuzzledinCA, Mateusz Skutnik rocks, the Submachines and Covert Fronts are really great. He did other games too (like day-mare and stuff), but those two series you have to play.

    ReplyDelete
  123. LOL, when I look at all the comments, I think, this game will go down in history as the game of «the third time is the charm» or «make assurance double sure»...!
    ;-D

    ReplyDelete
  124. AHHH YES! thank you Puzzled.. that was it!
Jeez i,ve spend about 45 mns looking for the damn crowbar in chapter 1.

  126. It's kind of funny, but I can't find the code to enter the tower :((

    ReplyDelete
  127. Lola,
Go all the way to the right and zoom in. There's a letter with numbers (different numbers every game).

    ReplyDelete
  128. Had to run an errand. Was able to come back and finish with your help. Thank you, all.

    ReplyDelete
  129. There's nothing, I am trying almost 30 min; it's the place where the explosion occured ??? Maybe there's a bug in the game :(

    ReplyDelete
  130. Lola, go farther to the right as far as you can. You'll see a gray box against the fence.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Thank you Bob and Stacy, I 'll look for it...

    ReplyDelete
  132. actually, go to the far right where you see the corner of the fence/wall and click there. Then, you'll see the gray box with cigarette butts there. You'll find the piece of paper on the ground on the left of the butts

    ReplyDelete
  133. more like clicking around in that area makes the paper appear in your inventory. Sorry. I'm going off memory and just restarted the game. Slow refreshes happening.

    ReplyDelete
  134. help i am in lisbon with a document and 2 photographs

    ReplyDelete
  135. I am in the place where the cache went...and found the room with force field...can't seem to find what to do next..... loving all this!
    Anyone still here?

BIG PBP (power before posting) lol
    Found the wires....
Dang! she knows how to use a crowbar! lol

    ReplyDelete
  136. Arike....envelope is there with the German soldier....If I am remembering right...lol

    ReplyDelete
  137. Hey, I have the crowbar and do not have a small key. I do not know where to use the crowbar but I have clicked on every damn pipe in the game with it. Help?

    ReplyDelete
  138. Nevermind, there was a whole other room in the house that I missed. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Words you can use in Karl's study:

  144. I love this game, but it's difficult. I'm in the tunnel, I'm going to read PuzzledinCA's walkthrough because I don't know what to do here.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Ah yes, the cachet. The only thing that I don't like in this game is that there is not always a different cursor on hotspots.

    ReplyDelete
  146. "The end" : I wish there will be another chapter, one day !

  149. oh im sooo happy yay! ive played the previous ones and loved them so looking forward to playing this...GREAT! wow long time since the last episode..Thank you THANK YOU :D

    ReplyDelete
  150. Aww...they ended it on a cliffhanger. And it left me wondering if this game takes place inside the Animus.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Great game!
Went to search for part 1 to 3, but can't find it...

    @Ricardo
Go to the far most right (next to the exploded car). You see some kind of box. Zoom in and you'll find the paper.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @ Anne 1-3 are there just type in covert front in the search box up the top and Covert front ep 1-3 will show up :)

    ReplyDelete
  153. @rimic
Tried that before, but only part 4 came up.
Playing directly from the Pastel Games site now :)
Just finished parts 1 and 2, onto part 3.
All makes much more sense now, though I have to say, you can finish part 4 without knowledge of the earlier parts.

    ReplyDelete
  154. WOW,Thank you for the sequel. I ve played the previous ones a couple of years ago and loved them, as this one too!! I like the music ,the graphics and everything.
And shes really tough isnt she?
Thank you all for your comments and puzzledin for the WT (missed one view...)

    ReplyDelete
  155. @Ricardo:
    "Under moon (far right)

  156. What am I doing wrong in the cockpit? I connected all four things but the light never stops flashing and if I try sliding the button to the right, two of the lights flash and then the pieces fall off and I have to do it over again.

    ReplyDelete
  157. higher art

Try twiddling the joystick before you push the slider
Don't know if that will work but it is what I did and the spare parts stayed put

    ReplyDelete
  158. I wish it were that simple...I have tried that in several variations and probably every combination of which parts I pick up or put in first. I have gone through the process about 30 times, have read 3 forums worth of comments, watched the first ten seconds of 2 youtube walkthroughs repeatedly, and for the first time ever, POP has failed me. SO irritated right now.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I'll go back in and have a look

    ReplyDelete
  160. Nope.
red fuse on the left by other two red fuses
lamp bulb on right by hanging wire
other bulb on middle top by other bulb
blue fuse between the two wires

    Light stopped flashing

    ReplyDelete
  161. Yep, exactly what I did, over and over and over again. I just played the first 3 games in order to remind myself of how hard/easy they are...the fact that I played them all in less time than I spent with that stupid cockpit tells me that I'm hitting a glitch or something. I can't account for it otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Sorry. Can't even begin to think of why it is not working for you. I did it (in the order that I posted) and it worked fine. I'm in Chrome - don't know if that would make any difference as I know quite a few of the people posting here normally use IE or Firefox and they didn't have a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Oh i found a picture one more. At the last room(toten's), click the paper on left side of toten. I guess... It seems like a submachine design

    ReplyDelete
  164. Well, I tried it again this morning, and suddenly it worked just fine. Thanks for offering help Cyndi, I guess it was just a random bug.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I just escaped in car, this game ROCKS!!!on to scene two.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I just replayed all of the old ones too!

    ReplyDelete
  167. Wow!!! :))) I love Mateusz Skutnik

    ReplyDelete
  168. That was a lot easier than the last 3. or maybe i got used playing these games.
