  77. I have tried every combination I can think of to work out the numbers for the box on the wall and still no luck. can someone, anyone tell me the 3 digits for the box on the wall pllleeeaaasssee :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. 3 digit code: divide each of the 3 numbers by 12 to get the code (numbers vary with game)

    ReplyDelete
  79. Great game! had no idea what happened at the end though ...

    ReplyDelete
  80. my numbers were 108 72 and 36, divided by 12 gave me 963, hope that helps

    ReplyDelete
  81. wow very nice game ,realy enjoyed the game & i played whole game without any help ...:D

    ReplyDelete
  82. @raasti me too, except for the most stupid sthing missing (as usual) = light those candles!! Must have been trying to get the fireplace lit at least 5 times...lol

BTW, there got to be THREE endings.

    1. you never talked with the doll, and thus get simply a black-gray screen with 4 Japanese characters (katakana) in first line, and 5 in second line.

    2. you did talk to the doll, but do not have the necklace for the black girl.
Screen is red-ish and the black girl is not amused. Same jap words like in (1).

    3. you both talked to the doll AND found that necklace - ONLY GOOD END

Now there's a question left...where is that necklace?? Never got hold of one of these...

    ReplyDelete
  83. @arbeitsloser
While talking with angry doll I've chosen first answer. It them transfered me to kind of new room, greyish, with a closed door. And there was necklace on the floor. Took the necklace, returned to escape room, then talked with girl ghost, picked piece of paper. Then passed again behind cb to the grey room. And out. And no bad game sign.

  84. Walkthrough

ever notice that the wall was a hole, always thought it was a socket supported with a rate jajajjaj

  85. As I got right to the end without help, then got stuck, I'll try a walkthrough to as far as I played.

Trouble is, my computer is so slow, this will take me a while to play back through....I'm always late with walkthroughs anyway ;)

I had no idea what any of the text said, even if I could understand japanese [I imagine], because I haven't got and can't get the font, but it didn't seem to hold me back until the end.

I'll recap as I played the first time through.

    WALKTHROUGH part one:

Click the picture and see the four corners have coloured squares. Note these down.

The candles are unlit; they may need lighting later.

Click the window twice and watch the handprints appear on the four lowest panes. Remember the sequence.
Click the card on the sill and see the half-equation, so something will be divided by twelve.

Go left and click the lowest cupboard door. The handprint sequence is the order to press the buttons.
If you get it right, you will back out from the buttons and be able to open this door. If not, go back to the window and check the sequence again.

Inside you find three empty circles. Great help they are! No screwdrivers, magic codes or keys to encourage you.

You can zoom in on the fireplace, but with only an inactive hotspot, there's nothing else to do there, so turn left.

Pick up the tiny box of matches.
There are four other hotspots here.
    The chest is locked.

There is a tower of coloured cubes. Zoom in on them and note the shape on each coloured block. If you remember, the colours are exactly the same as the corners of the pictures [except black isn't actually a colour, but who's quibbling?].
Red has an empty diamond, green has a full circle, blue has an empty triangle and black has a full diamond.
While you are here, grab the stick lying diagonally across the grandfather clock door. A ghostly face appears in reflection over the pendulum. =D

Back out and click the garment hanging by the clock.

If you click it it moves to the right and you can see a pair of fire tongs. I never imagined they were tweezers because they are so huge, but I knew I needed something like fire tongs because of the hotspot in the fireplace.
If you click them before the cape/coat/jacket slides back down you can get them.
[This is where my slow computer is a good thing. It took five seconds for the garment to fall, and I'm useless at the speed stuff =D].

Back out and look at the mat on the floor. Clicking it shows a key under a glass dome, on a plate, so you can't have it yet.

Turn left and zoom in on the little dark patch on the right side of the wall, near the floor.
Looks like a glass barrier again, but as you can lift the dish to see a star, a triangle, a moon and a sun, it could be worth trying to stuff something into that little tunnel by the right of the dish. [Remember that shapes code or note it down.]

The stick fits nicely, so fish around in there and pull out a toy mouse, which flicks away somewhere else.

Back out and notice a little brown door which requires a three-digit code.
I also noticed a suspicious-looking wire tracking out from the wall light to the left.

Turning left showed me that the wire ends at the candles.
Armed with your matches, zoom in on the candles and get them lit.
The scene cuts away to show you that wall light sparking up, and a code revealed on the floor beneath.

Turn back to see the light and check out the code on the floor.
The shapes revealed are the same as the shapes on the tower of cubes, which in turn are the same as the colours on the picture.
From these two sets of clues you can work out the sequence of picture corners to press.
For example, filled diamond is first, and as the filled diamond was on a black cube, this means the black corner should be pressed first.
Second is empty triangle, so blue.... and so on.
It really isn't that difficult unless you've made mistakes in your notes or memory.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Woah! That posted on the first attempt. Am I on a roll here? [Thanks, blogger =D]

    WALKTHROUGH part two:

Return to the picture and click the corners in the correct order.
You get a note which I can't understand and a card the same colour as he small card on the window sill.
As that one said to divide somehing else by 12, apply it to these three new numbers on the card in your inventory and get the three-digit code on the small brown door.

Go there to enter it and get a large pink winding key and a small gold key.

That doll by the handprint door could do with winding up, plus it's the only pink thing in the room apart from the key, so go and try it.

Zoom in on the doll, then the black circle at her bottom left and use the key.

Watch a short video cutscene. She's up to something crafty out of your sight for a moment, but she turns to face you and offers a white ball. [Where was she hiding THAT?]

    Take it and back out.
If you investigated the three stacked cupboards you will know that the top one reqires someting circular or spherical to open it.
try the ball and then the door handle.

Take the red thing. Examine it and then click the top surface.
If you click through the buttons' options you may vaguely recognise the shapes you saw under the dish in that alcove. Tree [triangular], sun [sun shape], stars [star shape] and moon [crescent moon].
Enter the order from that clue and click the white button below.
    Get a disc.

While you're here, click the fireplace and find the toy mouse that you flicked out of the hole.
Pick it up and examine it. It rattles, so has something inside.
Just out of sheer curiosity, use it on the fireplace [because the tongs don't work] and it incinerates quite violently [not flame-retardent then]. Now the tongs will work, so use them to retrieve a second disc from the fireplace.

Although the middle cupboard has a keyhole, the gold key doesn't fit, so go left and use it on the chest.
Get another note and a third disc.

You have three discs and a place somewhere which needs three circular objects placed in it. The handprint-buttons cupboard.
Go back there and stuff them in. Just click them on the grey thing; they go in their places automatically.

You watch the discs fly off and that mat starts to get a bit excited.
Back out and turn left to investigate.

The dome is off the plate, so you can have the red key now.

Go back to the three cupboards and use this key in the middle one.
    Pull the switch down.
The cupboards move to the side and an entrance is revealed.
    Go in.
The owner of that ghostly face in the clock appears on a firey red background, but other than that, I have no clue what is going on.
He/she/it seems to be pointing at you accusingly.
Here I clicked "Skip" and dived into the comments for help.

The two lower bits of text seem to have hotspots, and the comments suggest that the top line of these two is the one to click.
[I'm answering questions? Did someone translate to know this and not tell us everything?]

Another line of text appears, then she is gone. The passage is empty except for a door and two things on the floor. Pick them up.
A note and the three discs again, this time strung on a chain.

Then the comments say a ghost girl should be given the discs, but that's where I'm stuck.
What ghost girl? What angry doll? The only doll I see is that little cheerful one on the wind-up base.

I've clicked just about every view I can find and sill no ghost/shadow[black?] girl.

    Nice game, anyway =D

  87. more interesting if we understand the story... good game...

    ReplyDelete
  88. Rookwings you're right.

It's HARDLY EVER predictable what screen you'll get in the end (or, the preliminary end)

For me I can say, I do NOT get this choice of answers at all (though shown on the video WT), so there must be something mandatory to do so that you do get this choice.

    ReplyDelete
  89. YIPPIEH! GOT THE NECKLACE!

Due to the "fog effects" in the the graphics, which run extremely slow on slower computers, you might simply skip the step of when you have to answer --- by accident!
There was a shadowy girl standing in the main room, and after 6137 dialogues, finally accepting the necklace!

    ReplyDelete
  90. To arbeitslooser:
Now, my computer doesn't "DO" video walkthroughs, so they are useless to me, but I did get the choice of clicking top or bottom line after the skip option, so I assumed they were the "questions" and "answers" which I was dealing with. I had to click "Skip" both times that I played because it froze my pc.
Also, on my first play, I saw the shadow girl briefly BEFORE i went into the secrat compartment, but never after.
Do you mean I would only see her afterwards to give the discs to her if I don't click "Skip"?
    I which case, I can't finish the game =(

    ReplyDelete
  91. No, that's not what I was on about. Skip worked. Just AFTER THAT, it is possible that you get annoyed because nothing seems to budge except for those hyper-slow "fog" graphics in the bg. And I mean at THAT point, it's possible you click at some random point skipping the important stuff. That's just what happened to me once.

Second time, I clicked less hectic and did less clicks, and after a helluva lot of patience, screen changed to this extra room where you can pick up the necklace just in front of the bottom of the door.

    ReplyDelete
  92. To arbeitslooser:
I don't know if you'll even SEE this now, because it's so far along the site, but he necklace was not my problem. I had that.
Incidentally, with only 192 mb RAM and 700 mhz running speed, I KNOW not to ever click too much =)
This little thing does well, but I know it's limitations, and I NEVER get frustrated with it - I know what I will always expect =). I haven't crashed it since the day I got it, two years ago, phew!

I had the necklace, that was easy-peasy, but then had no clue as to what to do next.
Someone said I should give it to the shadowy girl, but she was nowhere to be seen. This is why and how I was stuck - and gave up.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Rook, my friend ;):D I would like to say *thank you thank you thank you* for posting such a great walkthrough ;) What a great game....I was expecting Nyan and Wan to take us on a fun adventure but this was especially fun and challenging :D Some of the puzzles required stretching my brain just a little....lolol!!!!...but I thoroughly enjoyed myself ;) I think a celebration at your favorite Pub/Restaurant is in order :D I was happy I did not peek at any hints, but that silly mouse took me awhile to locate; then, after finally finding it I was given the noble task of roasting it's little rodent behind ....ROFL!!!!!! I had no idea that little troublemaker was lurking about....hahahahaaha!!!!!!! The game name was perfectly titled... *Mansion-Of-Wandering* ;) It seemed to take forever to convince/beg/plead * :P * the shadowy girl to take the necklace so I could finally complete the game :/ Arbeit is correct...the slow-moving fog is torture!! This is a great game, but it does require a great deal of patience:/ Anyway....I had fun :D Oh...to answer the question of the question dilemma...??what??...I clicked on the top answer and that is what led me to the girl, the necklace and the end.....finally ;) I have no clue what those pieces of paper were trying to tell me but thankfully, I followed the pictures....lol ;)

Rook...it is always a pleasure to see you :)

    @arbeits....great to see you too!!!!!

On to the next game.... ;P
