    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well I had to use english keyboards many times (even mine is not english) so I could remember some things by heart. (And the Japanese just took over the Anglo-Saxon keyboard layout, hence it ought to be widely identical)

    So I remember that

    # was on the "3"
    * was on the "8"
    & was on the "7"

and ... hmm ... the "=" is actually the second key next to the "0". (directly left of backspace)

I would probably just brute-force the "=" bit and get the solution anyway:)

    ReplyDelete
  115. POP, ah someone beat me to it again...anyways, that's at least a more elaborate explanation, so I will let it stay...

    ReplyDelete
  116. LOL, arbeitslooser, but no keyboard conversion needed after all here..

    ReplyDelete
  117. how and where to find that second key everyone is talking about above:

(NOTE: your great hints about that part didn't help me in ANY WAY! "Pick up second key" doesn't help, if you don't tell FROM WHERE.)

It's easy, but you also have to get the idea.
Once you've typed the password (from web site picture) into the panel right of dresser, it will turn green. ( = Unlocked)

Second key is inside (now unlocked) DRESSER DRAWER.

    Hope this helps.

    ReplyDelete
  118. @Truus: Some *DO* need a keyboard conversion though! For example, Germans have the '&' on the "6" and the star upper left of the enter key!! So they will need a conversion. Swedes and Danes probably too.

    ReplyDelete
  119. No I mean, in the end all you have to do is use the signs, NOT the numbers

    ReplyDelete
  120. Hey, I'm the 1st viewer on the youtube video walkthrough :)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd97fEECr7k

    ReplyDelete
  121. @grannyrecipe
    Ha~You got it
As this video is pretty easy with steps
so I only add very less annotations~

    ReplyDelete
  122. @Truus ah ok, now I get you. I think that's because (I bet it's like that!) the author decided last-minute that the code would be too obscure (and too ambiguous for foreigners, see also sue's description), so he made it easier :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. For some reason after I used pliers on flower pick and got crown I cant use my cord anymore for the grey paper

    ReplyDelete
  124. Well, you could be right and if so, I'm glad he did :)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Now out too.

And *practically* no language barrier. Even if you didn't bother translating the Japanese text inside the curtain, you could have won the game just by trial-and-error on the scale.

Good concept, thanks IDAC/Gotmail as usual!

    ReplyDelete
  126. I can see a plug near the water boiler, but the cord won't fit here.

    ReplyDelete
  127. ... and I can't see any pliers under the small table !

    ReplyDelete
  128. pdghp,
You first have to put the plug in the water boiler. Somewhere on the right I think.

    ReplyDelete
  129. pdgph LOL zoom the boiler and click right side.. plug first there and then go plug your current view

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hi again Oh Great(modest) Modestorator LOL

    ReplyDelete
  131. pdgph you need to boil kettle first then drop red thing in it and then dip paper... tells you where to look and opens that view..

    ReplyDelete
  132. pdgph you really should read the earlier comments LOL I feel like I am repeating myself....

    ReplyDelete
  133. Stupid me, got to take cod off steamer again...geesh

    ReplyDelete
  134. Thank you Small-Tool. I'm out but I would still be in, without the video walkthrough. Hotspots are definitely too tiny for me in Gotmail games...

    ReplyDelete
  135. LOL granny read my earlier comment at 4.20

    ReplyDelete
  136. That "steamer" as you guys call it, what about the idea that it's just a wine cooler? :)

    ReplyDelete
  137. Huh? LOL arbeits you are losing it! Dont you know a japanese rice cooker? Come to chat (upper right corner of this page)

    ReplyDelete
  138. I am known as Dropbearsarecool

    ReplyDelete
  139. How in the world was I supposed to guess that the hidden wine bottle contained water...?????? lolol

    ReplyDelete
  140. I have opened about 20 windows trying to get the clue MARINE to show up....very frustrating....
Guess I won;t be advancing in this game.....

    ReplyDelete
  141. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  142. thanks for the ID and the password! :)

    ReplyDelete
  143. I am still stuck in the game... my grey card won't go on the pic in second room (after placing cord and then using key)

Guess I will resort to the video walkthrough :(

I had a terrible time trying to place the cord on the pic in the second room... do NOT open the pic first! The pic must be closed to find the spot where the cord goes!

    ReplyDelete
  144. Grrrr, just watched the video walkthrough (Thank you for that!)

to place the grey card on the pic, you have to use the cord, then use BOTH keys on the small dot

I was only using one key

    ReplyDelete
  145. Andddd.... no one explained how to open bottom cabinets under dishes to get the spoon.
    So frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Gotmail: Why do you insist on the id and password? You are the only game site that does this.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Princess,
spoon is in upper CB, where dishes are:
    - glass piece behind trapdoor with puzzle under carpet
    - put glass piece in stained window/pic
    - get spoon from lighted spot right side between plates in CB with dishes.
