ReplyDeletelaura you will find the circle clue on laptop after you put in the code from dictionary when completed...
ReplyDeletecomputer hint is your circle hint.
ReplyDeleteIs that thing an ipad or a battery of some kind?
ReplyDeleteplugged in computer... 6 letter code doesn't seem to be password...

ReplyDeleteoh, password does work, computer had crashed and when I restarted I hadn't put in missing piece...

ReplyDeleteWell done Roberto :D
ReplyDeleteand coolescapers :-)
ReplyDeletewhile I'm still wallowing in math...
ReplyDeletewhere is the triangle clue??
ReplyDeleteNM found it :)
ReplyDeletetriangle clue is in the littlest treasure chest on the shelf.
ReplyDeletePOP and the draw opens :D
ReplyDeletethanks Becks :)
ReplyDeleteRimic...how??? and which drawer???
ReplyDeleteok now have a puzzle
ReplyDelete@becks have a look at the blinds with the numbers
ReplyDeleteeg:
square number plus circle number minus triangle number minus the end number....
should give you 4 digit number for drawer at desk
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rimic...I was going crazy trying to figure out what to do with those numbers.
ReplyDeleteand out!
ReplyDeleteIt is 2584
ReplyDeleteDid you get it Laura?
ReplyDeleteim here if you need help :)
ReplyDeleteno, for some reason it won't open my drawer ('nothing happened')... something else I need to do first?
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to take the batteries out of that "normal" clock?
ReplyDeletethanks Rimic! and Becks... but there may be no help for me :-/ don't know why it won't open my drawer... maybe need to restart...
ReplyDeleteAt this rate, I'm gonna be in here all night.
ReplyDeleteThe batteries are found elsewhere Becks its not in the normal clock...@ Laura did you find all the clues eg...the square, triangle and circle? Just a thought, maybe you need to activate it
ReplyDeletelaura...I don't know if you did something wrong or if you have to do something first before the drawer will open....I tried opening and closing the blinds about 1,000 times...maybe that's it.
ReplyDeleteLaura did you put the other part of paper in the dictionary to complete the word? Becks use the scissors from the draw to but that tape around that box in the cb :)
ReplyDeleteYeah! drawer opened after restarting...
ReplyDeleteYou will find the batteries in there
ReplyDelete@Becks, look again in box?
ReplyDeletelol yay!
ReplyDeleteFinally out...
ReplyDeleteThanks Rimic and laura...now I can sleep tonight.
ReplyDeleteout, thanks guys!
ReplyDeletelol Becks i know the feeling, have to complete a game or else its on my mind its frustrating...
ReplyDeleteAll is finished :D
ReplyDeletewhere is the ripped piece of page to complete the word??
ReplyDelete@bellee76, CD drive on the right side of laptop...
ReplyDeletestill stuck at a puzzle, is that 19 70 and 4 ? don't know how to use it
ReplyDeleteGau Bu, yes, you basically have it... add those together for a year...
ReplyDeleteand out...
ReplyDeletethx laura :-D Now I'm stuck with the word puzzle, I can't move any pieces :-(
ReplyDelete@laura, thank Laura, got out before reading your comment, great game
ReplyDeletelol, never mind, just had to do it with my eyes, hahaha!
ReplyDelete@bellee76, pieces don't move, you just imagine they move and figure out what it would spell,,,
ReplyDeletecongrats @Gau Bu!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I didn't get to do anything with the sofa :-(
ReplyDeleteOut :-D
Sweet game...TY to all the previous players for the good hints!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I knew the computer PW ...but had to find the paper...and put it in the book before it would work...same with the shapes paper hits!
Hi @nokra! thinking maybe I should remove my comment... since I thought my code was wrong, I didn't disguise it enough...
ReplyDeleteyes, nice game!
Anyone still here?
ReplyDeletefound a key (used to get scissors to get cat and battery)
and now stuck
Battery code ("IDACK CREATE THE FUTURE") gets me nowhere
Hi, @Laura...LOL...It is still there on @becks comment....but I had done the math with my handy calculator before I read it....
ReplyDeletePOP! after several tries found a remote and a second battery in the couch!
ReplyDeleteyou still have the scissors, @puzzled?
ReplyDeleteuse them again!
@Puzzled, you got a cat?? I thought in that box was video game and battery? Battery went in video game, and thing that looked like an ipad also went in there... turned it on then for a clue for a place to look in clock for another clue... but cat came later? once you have cat, you use scissors again to cut something out of cat... (stopped taking notes before this point so this is from memory but I think correct... )
ReplyDeleteMy game had the batteries in a box...when they went into inventory , there was only one...but when I used it in remote....there were 2...I found nothing in the sofa!
ReplyDeleteUse cat on dictionary to get it into inventory -- last page is torn
ReplyDeleteWe are here, @puzzled....lol...where are you?
ReplyDeleteGood luck...seems your game is a bit different...you playing it in Japanese?
ReplyDeleteCan switch cat and inventory back and forth!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm playing it in japanese -- I didn't see an English option.
ReplyDeleteI used scissors again behind TV to get a plug for PC, can plug and unplug the TV and the ?player
Hey @laura...the game is now only loading in Japanese....it is a different game! LOL
ReplyDeleteAck!!! Puzzled's Japanese game sounds cool... but I really need sleep! Temptation!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to play it with you, @puzzled...it is a completely different game...the English one is very easy...they must think we are stupider in English! LMAO!
ReplyDeleteGood Lord, @puzzled...where did you find that first key????
ReplyDeleteTried restarting from link -- still not seeing an English option
ReplyDeleteit did seem weird that we didn't do anything with TV in English game...
ReplyDeleteFirst key came from blinds flipped them up and down a few times, then saw it on the floor
ReplyDeleteokay, got scissors, maybe catching up to Puzzled :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, it's a relief the game has changed -- I was feeling REALLY inept! lol
ReplyDeleteFor coming in late, it's weird to have you trying to catch up with me!
ReplyDeleteMy notes so far (hoping for help):
ReplyDeleteplay with blind to get KEY
opens 2nd drawer on desk for SCISSOR
use scissors on box in 1st view for CAT
use scissors on tail of cat to get BATTERY
REMOTE and BATTERY in couch - combine
behind TV is plug - use scissors again!
can plug and unplug TV and player
use inventory plug on PC (get green light and CD slot)
use cat on dictionary to get in into inventory
last page is torn
The remote with batteries did not work on TV...but I can zoom the player below....
ReplyDeleteleft out plug on PC
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck where you are Puzzled... need CD for computer? and missing torn piece... remote does nothing on TV, can't reach video game on shelf...
ReplyDeleteAh... got a DVD from under TV (using remote) and put in laptop...
ReplyDeletebut can't open files!
ReplyDeleteIs PRANK 2012 that there is no way to escape? lol
ReplyDeleteLike you, @laura...I'm up way past my bedtime...and I am afraid the codes might be in Japanese....
ReplyDeletegood Luck, Gals! See you next time!
calling it a night too... my English version was buggy, had to restart it once... maybe same here? will try again tomorrow... good luck @Puzzled!
ReplyDelete@Laura - how did you get DVD? I can't get remote to react with player.
ReplyDeletePOP. Press button ABOVE player ?!
ReplyDeleteCan't see files either.
ReplyDelete@Puzzled... I think I just highlighted remote and clicked around on the player under TV until a couple of lights turned green? (with both plugs plugged in behind?)
ReplyDeleteOh No! Am I left here all alone?
ReplyDeleteToo late for east coast and too early for leroy?
Ty @laura -- sweet dreams!
ReplyDeleteWill have to pass for now -- not finding anything new or finding any new interactions
ReplyDeleteIm the same as puzzled. I WAS playing the English game, then my pc crashed. Now im having to play the Japanese game, and its completely different, but in the same room.
ReplyDeleteUse green book to get a video game, open it and found a piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteCode from paper put on box on shelf
got a mouse for PC
Put cd in computer, do the math and use it on drawer,
ReplyDeleteThanks.. Nice game..
ReplyDeleteAnd out..
Checking back --
ReplyDeleteBy green book, I'm guessing dictionary, but can't use it anywhere for a video game or a paper
Have seen no other clues for any of the three code boxes
Going to bed -- please leave some useful clues ...
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteUse dictionary with the top shelf in sofa view - the "video game" will be in your inventory. In the "game" is the torn piece of paper you combine with the torn page in dictionary for code.
ReplyDeleteI can't get past that computer code. I did the math, got the 3-digit number, and it's not working on the drawer, or the other file in the computer.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletealeksandra....
ReplyDelete9x6 = 54
18x3 = 54
54 +54 = 108 code for drawer
Ooops, something went wrong with the comments. I already tried that, Jecko, but tnx. Probably something else must be done. Did you use the video game other than to get a piece of paper (it's still active in my inventory)?
ReplyDeleteAnd what's with the second file on the laptop? (the one that says continue)
ReplyDeleteAleksandra, I'm also stuck where you are...none of the codes work for drawer or computer file...
ReplyDeletePOP! Press enter button after entering code...
ReplyDeleteAnd out! Finally
ReplyDeleteOh, dude, I was pressing the red light and not the Enter... DOH! Ty, Kiki!
ReplyDeleteAnd finally out!
ReplyDeleteConstant reusing of the batteries was a real drag. Otherwise, cool game.
I wait until someone makes a WT.
ReplyDeleteWalkthrough: (cause EGDAWT, and especially GotmailGDAWT)
ReplyDeleteZoom into sofa and click the upper part to get REMOTE and 1st BATTERY
Zoom into window and click blind three times to get KEY from floor
Zoom into desk and open second drawer with key to get SCISSORS
Zoom into little cupboard beside sofa to see taped box, remove tape with scissors to open it, get BLACK CAT
Zoom into cat, turn it around (click on tail) and cut tail (ouch!) with scissors to get 2nd BATTERY, insert batteries into remote
Zoom left of tv, cut red ribbon with scissors, get BLACK PLUG, remove other plugs from socket and reinsert them (black up and white down, but the game does that automatically)
Zoom out and zoom into tv, choose remote and click on upper red light (the one from the tv), both lights went green, click on the dvd player to open hatch, take DVD
Zoom into book shelf, highlight the cat in your inventory and exchange the DICTIONARY with the cat
Zoom into the shelves left of sofa, upper part, and get the GAMEBOY from the top shelf with your book (throw book), turn the gameboy and take the NOTE from the hatch in the back, combine note with dictionary for the PASSWORD NO. 1 (different in every game)
Zoom into shelves left of sofa, lower part, and insert password no. 1 into white box, hit the red enter button and get the MOUSE, exchange the batteries from the remote to the mouse
Zoom into the laptop, place mouse left of laptop, insert dvd on the right side and put black plug in on the upper left side of laptop and click screen and left folder for formula, make a little bit of mathematics for PASSWORD NO.2 or look here in the SPOILER108SPOILER for the solution
Zoom into the upper drawer from desk, input password no. 2 and hit the enter sign over red button, zoom out and get GAME DISK
Zoom into laptop, take mouse, take batteries from mouse, put batteries and game disk into gameboy and click gameboy screen to get PASSWORD NO. 3 (SPOILERMASATOSPOILER), change batteries from gameboy to mouse again, place mouse beside laptop and click screen, open right folder, input password no. 3 (case sensitive!) for PASSWORD NO. 4 (SPOILER1371SPOILER)
Zoom into door and device left of door, input password no. 4, hit enter, zoom out, click on hatch and take KEY, click on door with key highlighted and go…
out!!
And a little comment for my walkthrough: this is a walkthrough for the actual japanese game, seems that there is another english version around. So there might be another solution in the future...
ReplyDeleteThanks escapism !
ReplyDeletegreat game
ReplyDeleteGreat game, indeed!
ReplyDelete☺
Thx, escapism,
for doing the WT-job!
☻
Some little addenda (if you don't mind...):
- To be able to take remote & battery from couch, click on the nearest couch foot first, that it can be bended.
- I have to click blinds 6x before I got the key.
- To place mouse, click on bottom left green edge of laptop keyboard.
- For lap PW all letters in caps.
- To reach door, click door handle.
@premiere: No, I don't mind, especially because you are perfectly right: I was wondering too what has to be done before the sofa can be bended, but I thought it has to be clicked twice, the blind has to be opened 3 times (which means being clicked six times), the position of the mouse is correct, caps in pw3 was mentioned in wt, and yes, to open the door the handle has to be touched. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the corrections, otherways my wt might lead to misunderstandings.
Is the game buggy ? The sofa won't move, there is nothing in it !
ReplyDeletepdgph: look at premieres comment: you have to click on the nearest couch foot first.
ReplyDeletethanks everyone!! nice game (games!)
ReplyDelete@puzzled and nokra, if you check back.... Can't believe what we were stuck on was knocking video game down with dictionary! I think in English game it was game disk on that shelf, and didn't need anything special to reach it.. maybe remembering wrong...
Thanks @Laura, yes, who'd of thought you needed a dictionary to knock down the game machine!
ReplyDeleteI was waiting to play a mini-game on the game machine -- couldn't believe all that work just to get a PW!
This is maybe the first Gotmail game where there wasn't a link to a fake gamesite? And is there as special ending? I can pick up mouse again and remove batteries, but no place to put them.
Many, many thanks @Aleksandra for explaining where to use the dictionary!
Wonder why the English version would be so different -- there was nothing uniquely Japanese about the game, and "MASATO" was in latin letters...

ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the "couch foot" hint, it saved me from tearing out another bunch of hair!
ReplyDeleteHaving to change batteries a dozen times was really a bit too cumbersome...(and just to get a f*ing door number in a widget!)
They've already done way better ones, and niftier ones, too (like pressing secret buttons to move some furniture or pressing them to get a secret compartment underneath a seemingly "empty space" in a cupboard etc. ;))
If it weren't for a couple of problems this game would get 5 stars. There is a hot spot on the couch (leg?) that you need to keep clicking, and you need to click the blind/drape/curtain multiple times. An illogical clicking the cat onto the dictionary is also required, so you can throw the dictionary up to the shelf (huh?).
