  1. @ RSA can cord for flogging be a whip?

    ReplyDelete
  2. i think Siobhan Daniels is right with the booty being the treasure as that would have booty, abaft and yardarm which could be 'bay' at the end ??

    ReplyDelete
  3. gosh, I love the idea of riddle games but am SO bad at them

stuck on level 3. I understand what to do (found the clues, make the sentence) but can't figure out where to meet piggie

tried piratecove, jamaica, iamaica, caribbeansea, sdomingo...

anyone want to take pity on me and spoil it?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  8. Jo-Ann

:) we get so used to one format that we often miss the obvious - damn frustrating

    ReplyDelete
  9. @PM: are you saying you know the solution?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I do not know the whole solution. All i have figured out is Loot = Booty, rear is Aft, and the sun passes over the Yardarm. BAY

    ReplyDelete
  11. sam1902

I think the last three letters spell out bay so, yes, it probably is - hopefully or we are all barking up the wrong tree in the wrong garden

    ReplyDelete
  12. If the last three letters spell out bay then whatever the whip is has to start with a vowel as the 'cat' cannot be anything else

    ReplyDelete
  13. got it! thanks to you guys!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Kimno: the russian sub is only the hint that the word you are looking for is in russian language. you have to translate the animal to russian and use the phonetic spelling

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Kimbo, there are several Soviet submarine classes, some of them nuclear. Have a look at them.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Rudi, is that a hint for level 10?

  47. Thanks Jo-Ann was trying to do it in two steps but it actually says that it must be in one string.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Jo-Ann, that was q question for 9 :-) That's what I got for an answer with the combination of Shakespeare and the anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @RSA those spaces are killing me too! lol

    any thoughts on magic words?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @RSA Momma Cyndi So something is wrong with my first word, the second is ok

    ReplyDelete
  51. @rudi, no anagram... the letters will say something if they don't then change your answers

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Sam there should be two #2's in your answer....

    ReplyDelete
  53. Paula Regina

check the morse again - I've lost my scrap from there but it is just what you do with a ship (or a car or a bike etc) when you want to go in that direction

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Paula, the morse code is difficult because the first two letters of the first word are the same as the last two letters of the second word

or at least that is where I had trouble

    ReplyDelete
  55. having trouble on 10

    Arrggg! lol

    ReplyDelete
  56. Jo-Ann.. can you be more specific. I am almost there

  57. Drawing a blank on monsters name.

    ReplyDelete
  58. sam1902

if you look at the list, the first answer is a number, the next 6 are letters then another number. Just dump the name of the speaker directly onto the end of that

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm still struggeling with chapter 9. I know who said it, but that doesn't work?!

    ReplyDelete
  60. PM

don't do it in two separate enters - it is all one 'word' with the formula and the name with no spaces

    ReplyDelete
  61. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I tried all 12 song titles from the album, nothing

    ReplyDelete
  92. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @ca3na: it's the famous phrase plus the title

    ReplyDelete
  94. @ca3na: you'll need that phrase plus a name. and keep the 2's

    ReplyDelete
  95. you have to type the phrase and then the name of the person saying the phrase together as 1 word, but type the phrase exactly as it is in the questions

    ReplyDelete
  96. @ca3na, the first answer is 2, the second answer is b, the third answer is o

keep answering, then add the speakers name to the end with no spaces

    ReplyDelete
  97. thanks @PM, but somehow I don't get a proper word. is the middle green nail stuck in the belly/stomach?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  99. PM

    ReplyDelete
  100. Stuck on 10 too, even tried to anagram the 1st letter of nail positions, such as E for eyes, nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  101. If it's really for the nail's colours, I'm done. I'm almost colour blind and can't see the difference between the brown and the green nails :-(

    ReplyDelete
  102. i read here in a site, red nails mean power and green nails mean tranquility...will that help? brown nails are not mentioned there...

    ReplyDelete
  103. @PM do you have the answer or is that just what you are working on?

    ReplyDelete
  104. I do not have the solution, that is what Im working on, with no success I might add.

  137. I missed your hint Enjoy, still stuck on 10, not giving too much away to me...lol

    ReplyDelete
  138. To remind everybody;
THIS IS NOT AN EG24 RIDDLE!
So don't give answers or hints that are too obvious.

We had a lot of problems with the makers of riddles before because we gave away too much.
Riddles were even taken off line, because of that.

Please don't let that happen again, Give subtle hints.

    Many thanks in advance :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. Great find @Enjoy, but still no go.

    rope
    leg or ankle
    foot or toe

    hmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yes got it. Thanks Enjoy

    ReplyDelete
  145. Ok, I had to delete my previous comment because it gave too much away. If you saw my last post, I left out one letter for the brown.

you need to see that the nails are different colors. you need to figure out what body parts the nails are stuck in. You will get two words, one from the brown and one from the green.

    ReplyDelete
  146. The hint for level ten is;

It's about the parts of the bodies and taking the first letters.

Two words, made from the green nails and made from the brown nails.

A voodoo doll is not always completely anatomically correct. The heart is not exactly in the right place.

    ReplyDelete
  147. bummer! Went off to feed the dog and now am still stuck. Not even a hint to go on :(

    ReplyDelete
  148. RSA, I'm stuck with you, the above hints tell me nothing more than what I've been trying to do all along. Obviously getting parts wrong. Not getting words...and if it's not anatomically correct then wow, no clue.

    ReplyDelete
  149. got father, safe sea ? about to quit. no fun.

    ReplyDelete
  150. me too rsa...i was searching the meaning...

    ReplyDelete
  151. who needs help still on 10? ask questions

    ReplyDelete
  152. is green a body part as well?

    ReplyDelete
  153. Me! Is it a hand or a finger, a foot or a toe, a leg or a foot, a chest or a heart, a ear or neck? lol so many ???

    ReplyDelete
  154. On 10.
The not always completely anatomically part you guys have already used. The heart is way higher then it should be.

For the green ones, the main problem is probably how to call the sword, knife or blade. Well, it's not all of that, find another 6 letter word for that.

    ReplyDelete
  155. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Well at least we have Casual's screen shot that we can blow up so let's give it a go

    Brown
    - eye or head (must be eye as we need a vowel)
    - finger, hand or grass
    - heart, chest, body or thorax
    - foot, ankle or leg (must be ankle as two vowels are probable
    - toe, foot or grass

    ReplyDelete
