  2. for 10 look at my hint at 1:14

    ReplyDelete
  3. looks like an o or u, maybe two y's. possibly an i to start, and two others.

    ReplyDelete
  4. @small-tool: if you have a developing tool for flash, you can open the file and change the "frames per second"...

    ReplyDelete
  5. isyyro and a few others. impossible!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Thanks to EnJoy, I'm at 11, wouldn't have made it it without your help!

    ReplyDelete
  7. unfortunately, only the first 4 digits of Pi are correct.

    ReplyDelete
  8. yeah, I was joking on pi.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ooo I only recognise the last pair of shots lol

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks Enjoy, on to 11 finally

    ReplyDelete
  11. @mrtelcom: well, actually you were right by accident! the first volley is shot 3 times, after that once, 4 times, once and 5 times! these are the first five digits of Pi!
after that, it doesn't match anymore.
tried Pirates, lol. didn't work :-)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Way to fast for my eyes, I think I saw an X? Maybe a combination of codes?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I am back and thx to EnJoy to push me to lvl 11...stuck there again.

    ReplyDelete
  14. think a y is there too...probably...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Also I tried 1=A, etc...no joy.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I can't believe the thing about "Pi" is a coincidence. 31415 (Pi = 3.1415...). and since we are in a PIrate game...?!

    ReplyDelete
  17. the next flashes are 414232328... any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am totally stumped on 11.

    ReplyDelete
  19. well, back and stuck at level 10

I just don't know what the parts that the pins are in... knife, blade, dagger, sword....? the possibilities are endless.

    feeling overwhelmed and behind. :(

    ReplyDelete
  20. No ideas Casual, in fact I thought the last few were letters, looks like an X or Y and at the end it seems 0(zero) or O?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jo-Ann for the first word think of sth growing in the sea and for the 2nd one think of someone in your family.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Jo-Ann, EnJoy has given us a chance to catch up (look up her post further up).
Stuck at 11 as well. Could it be the forms of the firing lights make up a pattern like letters?
On the other hand, Creo wrote at Nordinho the sound would play a role at a certain level.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @ casual it is square root of 2...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Trying to pick letters from the text with the amount of shots doesn't work :(
Other idea was to first (when you can still see the canons) to count and then to alphabet, because of the text; nearby you can see the number of canons.
And then at a certain point not counting anymore but using the shapes to see if they make letters (because of the text; until finaly all you can make out is a shape).
    And also tried morse.
But can't find anything with those methods :(

    ReplyDelete
  26. I can't watch these cannons any longer. I don't think they are drawing out letters

    ReplyDelete
  27. well, my time is up...

maybe I can pop by again tonight and something will work for me

not bad, this is the farthest I have ever made it in a riddle

    ReplyDelete
  28. I also tried morse or to make out roman numerals since I see an X and possibly i's being dotted...nothing...sound doesn't help me either.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  30. i m very bad in maths...:(

    ReplyDelete
  31. I agree with Small Tool, text says you can see the numbers of the cannons (as if to count) then it's so far so you can only see shapes. But my numbers/shapes make no words, it's way too fast.

    ReplyDelete
  32. is it first ones are for letters PI and then few letters in pattern?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, I am going to stop for today... leave lots of hints. Hope we can get through 11!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm off for the night, wish you all the best (and leave hints!), keep riddling!

    ReplyDelete
  35. me too off for tonight...good night all...c u tomorrow...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Reading here, no idea if it helps...
    http://www.cut-the-knot.org/pythagoras/NatureOfPi.shtml

    ReplyDelete
  37. Is this game autosaving ? Not funny when we have to start at scratch !

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Zazie: just safe the URL you have right now ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  39. sorry, the wine...saVe of course.

    ReplyDelete
  40. No Zazie, not auto-save . just started again the game and had to do it all over.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Casual,
I don't have Flash tools and things like that. Is there anyway you can post a screenshot with the seperated shots you see in slow motion.
But don't bother if it's a lot of work. I will struggle along anyway, but probably not tonight, almost nighty nite time :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I guess I'll give up for now too since everyone is leaving:( Hope there's huge hints later. Thanks everyone

    ReplyDelete
  43. one minute small-tool. I just made a picture with photoshop. almost ready

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am still trying and looking around.....

    ReplyDelete
  45. thx ca3na , a pitty that it doesn´t save, such a hammer game, but fortunately i wrote all answers on a paper.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am not saying this is correct! this is only what I think!

these are the last 9 flashes; without the first 5 shots (3,1415). it's only about the shapes.

(right click to open in a new window/tab)

CHAPTER 11 - MIGHT NOT BE CORRECT!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Zazie, add the current page to your list of favourites

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thank you very much Casual :)
Gonna stare at that for some time and hope ideas pop up.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @dutchie, which page do you mean ?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Casual and s-t, starring as well lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Zazie: just bookmark your current page and you don't have to start from the beginning

    ReplyDelete
  52. to save the game, add the current game (11)to your list of favorites. See the how to play sign in the lower right corner

    ReplyDelete
  53. I even tried to enter Doughnut(s) :(

    ReplyDelete
  54. Casual, I stayed for your clue...thank you, staring now too...I thought maybe an alphabet code, but I do not recognize.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I just hope this is the correct way. sorry, if it turns out to be complete bulls***!
I'm completely insecure about this, since the sequence before that is not involved.
so, don't blame me, if it's wrong!
well, blame me! but don't get angry... ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Not an answer but I found this interesting: I was trying to google 31415 (Pi) using alphabet, so was hoping google had a great suggestion website...typed in cadae and google finished it with "cadaeic cadenza"...I click on it and it talks about Pi...try it

    http://www.cadaeic.net/cadintro.htm

    ReplyDelete
  57. the sentence "Please concentrate on your target!" could be hint too, don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well apparently cadaeic cadenza is common knowledge of Pi just not to me, so this post helps none...sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  59. ok, going to bed now and will continue tomorrow. great riddle!
btw: only 3 votes? a game with already over 400 comments deserves better than that! and, imho, a better rating!
    good night!

    ReplyDelete
  60. oh, and since we are talking about Pi. coincidentally, today, a japanese mathematician claims that he solved the abc conjecture...

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think this might be in braille. I checked Casual's picture and rearanged the lines a bit and got a pi****. Still need something more...

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'll go to bed now too and hope that the answer will come to me in a dream :D
Goodnight EG24-players and thanks for all the help so far.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I rejoined a little while ago and have limped up to lvl 10 with quite a bit of help. I see a lot of great players here - Hi everyone!

I'm proud to say I got a couple of levels unassisted - wonders never cease :)

I'm stuck at lvl 10. All the wonderful clues left by enjoy have now been deleted, so can someone help us latecomers. I have word for the brown nails - the green ones are not making any sense. Can someone help with giving it away - I've read all the clues and am still in the dark.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sorry, I meant WITHOUT giving it away

    ReplyDelete
  65. CeeBee, something that helped me on 10 was the placement on one of the limbs, it's not arm or hand but in between the two? Gives a letter that helps out...let me know if that helps any

    ReplyDelete
  66. @kimbo - thanks I'll try that

    ReplyDelete
  67. @CeeBee I am also still stuck on level 10 after doing so well :(

I too think I have the brown word and am sneaking away from my dinner duties to try once again for the green word

    ReplyDelete
  68. Cee Bee for level 10 for the limbs think.....join.
And its no sword; its shorter

    ReplyDelete
  69. OMG fresh eyes and I got it!

    On to 11! Woot!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hi Jo-Ann

    For Green I have

    Sword/Dagger
    Wrist
    Eye
    Ear
    Arm
    Ankle/Foot
    Stomach????

Nothing makes sense - do you have different parts?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Arrggg! I'm left all by myself :)

    Well done Jo-Ann!

    ReplyDelete
  72. @ CEE BEE you are soooo close!

try to anagram your letters (there are only 4 possibilities with what you have there

    ReplyDelete
  73. Cee Bee you are close, think of something growing underwater (a usual water plant)...not all your words are correct.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Got it!!! - Thanks guys!!

    I'm dreading 11 given the comments :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Still stuck on 11....and it is already late her, but this game has got me :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think it has 3 parts: pi, braille and that circle at the end. I can't figure out the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @lovely I thought braille as well except for the last one...

    ReplyDelete
  79. the clue says you can see the number of cannons firing at you, not the number of cannonballs... am I reading too much into it?

    ReplyDelete
  80. that last circle seems to be all by itself

    ReplyDelete
  81. For the numbers i can see "PI" (3.1415) The shapes i don´t know.....i googled and the shape connected to PI is a torus (some kind of doughnut or the "O" at the end). I tried hundreds of combinations with it but nope :(

    ReplyDelete
  82. Congrats on 10 you guys! Now help us with 11!! lol...thought I'd check back in:)

    ReplyDelete
  83. @Kimbo - we're all staring at cannon fire and counting - LOL. I'm not even getting the same numbers as posted sometimes! Jeez!! I think I need new glasses - lol

    ReplyDelete
  84. Casual, I knew it was the first of pi, but it broke down after that, so I figured it was a conincidence. now, if you start adding after the 5 digits, (414 = 9), then 2 ...

    nahhhh

    ReplyDelete
  85. For a good laugh, look at PurpleLogic's post on the Nordinho site (1st page last post...no help there either:(
    http://www.nordinho.net/vbull/online-riddles/55263-hunt-captain-blood.html

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'm also leaving... Good luck everyone :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. @Kimbo I read the poem earlier lol

maybe it will make Creo take pity on us and give us a hint

    ReplyDelete
  88. Jo-Ann...oh I hope so, pity would be nice now...
@CeeBee, I need new glasses too, and I don't even wear them! Haha

    ReplyDelete
  89. @mrtelcom that works until you get to the 6 lol

    ReplyDelete
  90. pi_ _ _ _ round or around ?

    ReplyDelete
  91. what if the first set of cannonfire (31415) tells us which of the second set should be overlaid for letters?

does that make sense? has it been suggested already?

I just noticed that the second set of fires seem to overlap on the screen

    ReplyDelete
  92. @mrtelcom, does it work?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Impossible for me, i am out of ideas....feeling stupid :(

    ReplyDelete
  94. sorry, i thought you meant the _ _ _ as you had the answer

    ReplyDelete
  95. I like the around part because we have to come up with orders to give

    ReplyDelete
  96. I have been looking at the level again. the first sequence just follows the visible cannons firing. but when the ship turns that is where the answer is hidden. has to be, especially after you read the clue again

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Enjoy, I am thinking the same thing and that the first set of firing (31415) somehow tells us how to use the shapes to make a word

and I like the idea of the last word being around or round that last set is definitely all by itself

    ReplyDelete
  98. I tried to make a shape out of the firing canons, it is something like a crown (after re-reading the text)but this doesn´t work either.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I can't help but think that we are all over thinking this - maybe we're missing something quite (or not so quite) obvious............

    ReplyDelete
  100. Well i am trying to make out a shape with the lights....

    ReplyDelete
  101. The last shape we see is an 'O'

Don't know how that can fit anything...........

    ReplyDelete
  102. I am now just trying phrases like tally ho anchors aweigh, stuff like that hoping to get lucky

    ReplyDelete
  103. In other words : make out a shape by the firing canons...

    ReplyDelete
  104. going back to level 10 (I know it has been solved but thought this was interesting)
going through pirate terms and found 'dirk' a long thin knife used to cut rope

    ReplyDelete
  105. Weird, thought I'd go the braille route with Casual's photo...with a little tweaking it seems to add to Pi*****...then 3 more letters with the big O at end....hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm giving up for tonight... I don't think we are going to get anywhere until Credo gives us a hint! I have been working on this level for 5 hours!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Kimbo, you were right it is braille!

onto 12 and giving clues as you ask

    ReplyDelete
  108. It's not braille, not signal flags, possible, to mash together to make zodiac signs, (pisces is obvious choice).

    ReplyDelete
  109. @Enjoy....OMG!! You're a Trojan............ enjoy your time away (pun intended :)). Hopefully it'll be solved when you get back.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Well done Jo-Ann!! I can't see/hear the braille - how did you get that?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Can someone email me the link for 11, I had to switch computers. Oh, and Jo-ann, email me some help too LOL!!

    ReplyDelete
  112. look at Casual's photoshop picture and see the letters in braille (except the last one!)

    ReplyDelete
  113. I'll take clues JoAnn, am I right with 1st part? Pi*****? It's the others that confuse me...one word?

    ReplyDelete
  114. level 12 is possibly smoke signals

but I really need to feed my kids! be back soon!

If I can actually pull myself away!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Finally solved level 11

the first part is pi, second part is braille, (thanks casual for the pic) and the last is the shape it makes

    ReplyDelete
  116. yes pi**** and a second word

    ReplyDelete
  117. From braille I get:
    pi + rates + i (or 9)

    then the BIG O

    ReplyDelete
  118. I got the first word, but efi and then the o ??

    ReplyDelete
  119. the s is for the second word...

    ReplyDelete
  120. and check out the f... it could be another letter as well...

    ReplyDelete
  121. PLease someone send me the URL for 11 again, not sure I remember all the earlier levels.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I think the answer for level 12 is here

but it's all greek to me ;)

I don't have time to solve it now, MUST feed the kids!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thank you!! Moving along...tomorrow:)

    ReplyDelete
  124. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I have got Pi***** (then the braille word) but i am missing sthg i guess ...what about the O at the end ?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Thanks Kimnbo - you beter delete that LOL. Still stuck though, S E (not an f???) I and the Big O

    ReplyDelete
  127. I have M - it doesn't help me (:

    ReplyDelete
  128. F could be a P as well ?

    ReplyDelete
  129. Oops, didn't know I shouldn't post that...should've messaged you...sorry everyone.
Anyway...double check your F and what is the shape of that O?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Please be human to me. i have to go to bed but at least i want to solve lvl 11 !!!
    Stuck with pirate...etc

    ReplyDelete
  131. For level 12.
Just draw out the shapes the smoke puffs make.
Every 5 rows make a letter, so yout answer is a 5 letter word (no anagram)

    ReplyDelete
  132. @Kimbo, such a pity that i couldn´t read your post, they are exagerating....one star less for me.

    ReplyDelete
  133. OK on 12 I count

    12345

    ReplyDelete
  134. Well ok, nobody wants to help me, i am off to bed. I will try again tomorrow. Gl to you all....

    ReplyDelete
  135. Got it, to 13 - Thanks ST

    ReplyDelete
  136. Zazie:

All I have is "pirate si" and then the "semi O?"

    ReplyDelete
  137. @Zazie see Mrtelcom's post at 5:34

think of another word for O

    ReplyDelete
  138. Zazie, email me I'll help look at my post above "semio?? "

    ReplyDelete
  139. T white, the "si" is wrong just drop that part and use the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm not getting any of your clues with regards to "O".
I think I've looked up everything ........ except the thing that counts of course - can you give another clue?

    ReplyDelete
  141. btw - I am assuming p***** s***? is correct.
    Is that right?

    ReplyDelete
  142. I tried zero, C, etc ....nothing

    ReplyDelete
  143. Someone said the the "S" must be in the second word...

    ReplyDelete
  144. what shape is the o? and technically, the word should probably be hyphenated I think, but it isn't. Semi and the word combine for a one word shape

    ReplyDelete
  145. I think I'm at the same place you are Zazie..........
What are we missing - LOL

    ReplyDelete
  146. For level 13.
Just use his name in numbers.
    For level 14
First and last letters will do.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @Zazie

I'm right where you are pirate....

    ReplyDelete
  148. Sorry, I left for a bit...drop the O...instead write it's shape...it isn't a square

    ReplyDelete
  149. I even tried "private sphere" lol (but i know that it starts with pirate***)

    ReplyDelete
  150. Got it!! That was a bit obscure in my book!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Try another word for the shape Zazie

    ReplyDelete
  152. Having trouble seeing 3rd letter on 12?

    ReplyDelete
  153. @mrtelcom

    Wow! Finally!

That clue could have been awesome, but it was poorly executed. The cannon-flashes were poorly timed and very hard to see.

But, thanks to your hint I finally got it.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Zazie, your post at 6:01...keep your S word

    ReplyDelete
  155. small tool - what about the riddle on level 12a??

    ReplyDelete
  156. Kimbo 3rd letter is not a Y :-)

    ReplyDelete
  157. mrtelcom,

Pirates often miss a part of a leg.
For a hint you can try the obvious and to get the real answer you have to Google a bit to find the six letter answer.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Ok, trying back tomorrow, for real this time...good luck!!

    ReplyDelete
  159. Small tool got it, but never would have without your hint. Not sure how you figured that out.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Well i am off to bed, i don´t get lvl 11, but of course i am at least semi tired lol....or O or 0 or C. i will look here tomorrow again. And thx for all your help !!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  161. @Zazie your are SO CLOSE!!!

    ReplyDelete
  162. zazie?? I emailed you 30 minutes ago.. oh well, good night.

    ReplyDelete
  163. small tool did you mean 13b bot 14? beginning and end of the note? how?

    ReplyDelete
  164. POP, got half the answer LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  165. @ mrtelcom ohhh just saw it ! Thank you so much, i will go on tomorrow. You are great :) Thank you ...

    ReplyDelete
  166. Oops, very sorry.
Yep I meant 13 and 13b in my previous post and no idea about 14, besides it has to do something with prime numbers.
    Anyway, too late, gonna sleep.

    ReplyDelete
  167. the shells :

    67 47 11
    2 ?? 2
    5 23 53 23

I hope we don't have to order by pitch

    ReplyDelete
  168. x 67 47 11
    2 ?? x 2
    5 23 53 23

    ReplyDelete
  169. on to 15 thanks for the hints mrtelcom

not sure what to do for level 14 and the shells

    ReplyDelete
  171. need help on 15, not sure what the colors mean?

    ReplyDelete
  172. @rds, don't know 14 yet so no help on 15

    would you drop a hint?

    ReplyDelete
  173. look up the primary numbers as st said, then use mrtelcom's numbers or the numbers you get and visit granma...

    ReplyDelete
  174. how to turn the primes into letters?

    ReplyDelete
  175. let me know if you need a bigger hint jo ann

    ReplyDelete
  176. sorry, not getting it

some numbers are prime some are not. do we disregard what is not? or do we use the 'set' added to make a prime and others separate as prime?

    ReplyDelete
  177. just use the alphabet 2=a 3=b etc.

    ReplyDelete
  178. soe a?a cipe ? not working

    ReplyDelete
  179. k, I need a fresh sheet of paper

    and a glass of wine

    maybe that will help

    ReplyDelete
  180. every number mrtelcom listed is a prime number... follow it through.... looking at the prime number chart starting with a

    ReplyDelete
  181. where are my numbers wrong??
    something escape I think

    ReplyDelete
  182. @mrtelcom I am also missing something

follow the numbers on the prime number chart?

    ReplyDelete
  183. its a constellation, one word, not common at all

    ReplyDelete
  184. my letters don't work out either got two w's that can't be right lol
