  1. Rob - did you get the one behind the cabinet next to the toilet? Has anyone opened the new door?

    ReplyDelete
  2. use sd, raasti, on closet door, put door handle on new door

    ReplyDelete
  3. Haven't opened door. I have, however, glared at it forcefully for several minutes and scolded it strongly.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Okay so the clever folks here have:

Library of Celsus - Ephesus - Turkey
    Acropolis - Athens – Greece
    chateau de versailles – France
Abu Simbel Lake and Temple - Egypt
Neuschwanstein castle – Bavaria - Germany
    Mount Everest - Nepal
    Stonehenge – Wiltshire England
Statue of Liberty – Ellis Island – USA
    Coliseum – Rome Italy
    Niagra Falls - Canada

  5. Thanks Aneel72 and Miles1, still no Abu Simbel. I keep looking!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Rob
Did you find the one by the alarm clock slipped down next to the bed?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Szarra! I found the Abu Simbel card! It was below the clock like you said, thanks. I must have clicked that spot a hundred times...!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hey guys! This is the game designer.
I just realized a problem in the game. The Library of Celsus postcard should actually be referred as the Epheseus postcard (the city instead of the monument). I'll have to fix this problem as soon as possible.
As for the rest, I just can't say anything. Hope you're enjoying :) Oh and please watch the opening scene on YouTube.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 2 cards inside box in 1st scene
1 in drawer under Alice´s pic
1 in cb under Alice´s pic
    1 under TV
    1 left side of toilet
    2 inside box
1 behind cb after using towel
1 in first scene using trash can

    ReplyDelete
  10. Use scissors to get wrapping off door, and place handle, door's still locked though..

    ReplyDelete
  11. is anyone out from this game or everybody is stuck at close new door ?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think this one has died - we cant get anywhere anymore - I might have a look tomorrow but giving up now - good luck

    ReplyDelete
  13. i wonder if the hint is in the poster of the game. should i visit doctorfou.com?

    ReplyDelete
  14. How do we know if we have the postcards in the right order?

    ReplyDelete
  15. youtube is banned in my country and i cannot watch the opening scene. maybe the clue is out there. can someone check? hope we will be able to get hint from the initials of landmarks/country/city names.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was thinking chronological order, but in any order, what do you do with them after arranging them? No clue here.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You Tube link: http://youtu.be/KHxrZ3nsF4s

    ReplyDelete
  18. where you people are arranging cards in a new window or you placed them in a room /

    ReplyDelete
  19. I just watched it - it doesn't give any clues

    ReplyDelete
  20. hi guys!

just catched up, but can't find the "new door" you are talking about. do I have to do something before using the scissors? and where?
    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  21. watched the intro...absoulutly no clues to order of pics, just showed how she ended up in closet

    ReplyDelete
  22. raasti - arrange them when you're looking at them close up

    ReplyDelete
  23. Casual - use the wet towel on the wall by the cabinet you moved

    ReplyDelete
  24. The husbands name is Henry Evans. 10 letters - 10 cards...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well, I making absolutely zero progress - I think I'll step away for awhile

    ReplyDelete
  26. i am almost fed up with it now :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi all.....could it be the age of the structures or the height of them?

    ReplyDelete
  28. im leaving also ..not a good day for me with games ..i cant finish off that chinese pharmacy escape game also :(

    ReplyDelete
  29. When I anagram the first letters of the monuments:

    Ephesus
    Acropolis
    Versailles
    Abu Simbel
    Neuschwanstein
    Everest
    Stonehenge
    Coliseum
    Niagra Falls

I get Lance Evans. Maybe the brother of Henry Evans?

    ReplyDelete
  30. how do you even know if there are only 10 cards? maybe there are actually 11...?!

    ReplyDelete
  31. and what about the sink above basin? I don't think anything was in it, right?!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Casual: you know because the game tells you you can start sorting once you have found 10.

    ReplyDelete
  33. it does? thanks. missed that info...does it reappear somewhere?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh, and of course L from Liberty was used is the anagram too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. @rob: still here? the game is really interesting but don't feel good when get stuck for long! Nice find about Lance Evans but how can it help?

    ReplyDelete
  36. i have been hitting door with shoe in despair still cant get out

    ReplyDelete
  37. im a little slow this morning, but could you match the place with the number on the back, then find the letter that correspnds with the number on the back? such as my statue of liberty is 6... maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Aneel72, I have absolutely no idea! Just puzzling away hoping something will come up. :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh mighty game creator, a hint please? I simply must move on with my day...lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think numbers are connected to letters, since I have thrice a zero...

    ReplyDelete
  41. All numbers are different for each player lebananas

    ReplyDelete
  42. i think we are not being attentive. we haven't found a use of oily cream so far. let's think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Maybe the oily cream is to grease the lock once we find a rusty key for it? :P

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am gonna use the oily cream on my finger tip in a bit as i have been clicking everywher it hurts lol

    ReplyDelete
  45. maybe we have to look what the cards have in common. for example niagara falls and mount everest are a made by nature. all others by humans.
that could mean niagara and everest should fit in the last line (in about view)

    ReplyDelete
  46. have to leave, but will definitly contine in an hour or so...I love these challenging games!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Watch the video - his first name is Henry

    ReplyDelete
  48. Are we sure about Neuschwanstein? If it was something begining with I then we could get Alice Evans - the daughter

    ReplyDelete
  49. The only thing on the video is that she did look at her mobile before picking up the vase. So maybe the numbers on the back of the postcards - when they're correctly ordered - give a telephone number.

I'm sure we need to get into the next room to get more things to help *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  50. Help, I am missing one card. Roberto posted that there is a card in drawer under Alice's picture. I can only see notebooks, pencil and the small box. Help Please

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi again!
A little update for all new players: the Library of Celsus postcard was just replaced by the Eiffel Tower postcard so there is no confusion on city or monument postcards. I think I just said enough for today ^^ (although this was a little mistake from the game design so I had to help you on this).

    ReplyDelete
  52. hey guys just a quick idea .. maybe it's not the monument or the place in the pic that matters but rather the city or the country it belongs to !! not gonna replay it so any of u may try if still around !!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Well, I quit. After getting the black screen 5 times and having to restart, I have to give up.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think the card was not in the drawer but in the cupboard below that. I'm trying another game waiting for someone bright!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Even if we get the right combination of numbers, what are we supposed to do with them?

    ReplyDelete
  56. @ Enjoy when u get a black screen dont restart it .. open any [about item] then close it n click where the directions arrows would be !

    ReplyDelete
  57. Apparently we're supposed to do something with the letter associated with the place name, but putting them in alpha order doesn't seem to do anything. Since there are repeats of letters, there is no clue to guide which should come first if we're trying to spell the name of the vaporous Lance. Also annoyed at not being able to open the new door...

    ReplyDelete
  58. Doctor Fou - do we have to start over if we have the library card? Do the cities where the monuments are matter?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't know...i've tried everything already...

    ReplyDelete
  60. If everyone's numbers are different, they cant be relevant in the order of the cards... right?

    ReplyDelete
  61. yup that's what i think too. But even considering the name of the monument or the country, nothing works...is there anything we need to do before?...

    ReplyDelete
  62. Who knows. How are we supposed to know if we get them in the right order anyway? There should be a save button.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @miles1 If you have the Library of Celsus - Ephesus postcard (put it in the first version of the game), know that just the Ephesus word is relevant. But you should still find out what are the postcards for :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. @miles i think we all looking for answers not questions !! :D could be their positions on map North to South ???!! or maybe the numbers of tourists visiting them each year ???? or .. or .. come on Dr FOU what's the deal ?? :D

    ReplyDelete
  65. How opened the new door?
    Help please

    ReplyDelete
  66. Dr Fou, give us a clue, please!

    ReplyDelete
  67. YES, give us a clue, please!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Please...my brain is numb.

    ReplyDelete
  69. It's NOT Niagra falls

    It's Iguazu Falls in Brazil

    ReplyDelete
  70. So instead of lance it's laice - or ALICE

But I still don't know what to do with it - and we've got a's and e's that can go several places...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Man, just got back and I see that we are still stuck at that "secret" door!
Come on Doctor Fou, we definitly need and hint because 270 comments is a lot and we are no further than 3 hours ago

    ReplyDelete
  72. Could it be that we have to find the cities for each postcard and then flip them and count the letters? for exemple for the eiffel tower it's paris, the number at the back in 5 for me so it's the letter S (well I don't have the tower but the ephesus but it's still the letter S)

    ReplyDelete
  73. back and trying to find a fitting anagram. "classic men" doesn't work ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  74. @aridza: I don't think so. numbers will probably be used later on. as often mentioned everyone has different numbers, I would get a "A" from paris...

    ReplyDelete
  75. back to see if there's any progress. if you guys have found out Alice Evans then i think the hint should be in/close by her picture.
It shouldn't be so hard to find though. hope arranging postcards according to this name will reveal something.

    ReplyDelete
  76. It must be the places, since the Celsus (Ephesus) is relevant such as Eiffel. So we would have

    Acropolis
    Liberty (Statue of..)
    Iguazu Falls
    Colosseum
    Eiffel (Ephesus)

    Everest
    Versailles
    Abu Simbel
    Neusch....
    Stonehenge

Thoug I think Mount Everest should have the word "mount" in it as well, and "liberty" would be "statue of liberty" etc.

    ReplyDelete
  77. yeah I saw that,for the acropolis I got a 7 and Athens only has 6 letters
    So back to square 1

    ReplyDelete
  78. imho: it can't be places! Doctor Fou replaced "Library of Celsus" with the "Eiffel Tower". and they aren't really in the same place...
but this would rule out an anagram as well :-(
    love this game!

    ReplyDelete
  79. It must be alphabetical order. but would statue of liberty be s or l?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Casual

No, I think it is an anagram as Dr Fou said it was an error as the Library should have been Ephesus so replacing it with something that begins with E is probably a clue in itself

    ReplyDelete
  81. No - because he commented that "Library of Celsus" should be Ephesus and that was confusing - so he replaced it with Eiffel...

    So it's the names
But Alice Evans doesn't seem to do anything - and we have nowhere to put #s in anyway? (and if you anagram Alice Evans you get all SORTS of phrases but none seem useful)

    ReplyDelete
  82. just thinking, the key is the only item that "disappeared" after it was used. weve used other items more than once. trying to combine and use items in weird places now since they haved disppeared.

    ReplyDelete
  83. sorry, you are right!

@lebananas: look at your little box

    ReplyDelete
  84. Dr Fou - can you at least tell us if it has to do with either an anagram or alphabetical order?!?

    ReplyDelete
  85. @casual, was hoping to get it out to use on the new door... :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. That's exactly what i was saying RSA.. Has to be the first letters!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I went to look on a blog and they are stuck right where we are

    ReplyDelete
  88. I've been to all the places except Egypt, if that helps. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  89. LOL
If you put the letters EAVANESCIL into the anagram solver you get some doozies :) Anal scene?

    ReplyDelete
  90. gotta go again - someone please solve this thing!!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Kainonlainen

The problem is that there are too many variants and even if we get it, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to use it. Unless that cell phone appears suddenly

    ReplyDelete
  92. @RSAMOMMACYNDI
Look at Kainonlainen post at 10:54

    ReplyDelete
  94. Not too many variations, just two A's and two E's. Have been switching them - nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Known:

    E – Eifel
    A – Acropolis
    N - Neuschwanstein
    S – Stonehenge
    C – Coliseum
I – Iguana Falls (I’m willing to believe it)

    Possibles

    C / V – chateau de Versailles
    M / E - Mount Everest
L / S - Statue of Liberty / Lady Liberty in which case it is an L
    A / S - Abu Simbel (most probably A )

    ReplyDelete
  96. why do you use the original french word chateau instead of palace?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Hello again guys :)
I receive plenty of feedback about frustration while playing the game. I'm sorry about that. My goal really is just to make a fun game.
And I should tell you that till now you solved the hardest part of the game. I hope you'll soon find out why.

    ReplyDelete
  98. yep, unfortunatly we've been stuck on that door for over 4 hours

  100. Happybirdie

Did doll, still not out though. We've been on this merry-go-round for a while now. Even tried to fit it by calling Stonehenge a simple Henge but it still don't help. We have all been checking every inch to see if we missed something but not luck yet

    ReplyDelete
  101. I absolutely disagree with you, Jonderson!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Ha...spoke too soon...sorry!!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Doctor Fou,

We have the greatest minds in all escape history on this site. These brains have hauled me through games that were in Japanese and nobody knew how to read the clues - but they figued it out and dragged my sorry behind out with them. This is no longer fun, it is tenacity. At least tell us if it is a name

    ReplyDelete
  104. hi guys again ..any luck ...

    ReplyDelete
  105. FOUND IT
In the closet in the view with purple dress USE SD!

    ReplyDelete
  106. there may be another way to solve it. For example a castle can only be a 'castle'. Let's say Mount Everest is only a Mountain or Peak as everyone can easily see. Eifel Tower is a "Tower", Abu Simbel is a Lake/Temple, Statue of Liberty is a "Statue", and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  107. up? down? where to use SD exactly??

    ReplyDelete
  108. nice one @Kainonlainen! can't find the spot yet, but thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Kainonlainen

    You biscuit :)
    Which view? Up or down?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Now I just have to figure the code.. Alice Evans did't do the trick, tried to change E's and A's.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Down, just under the shelf (there's the grey "thig" holding the shelf)

    ReplyDelete
  112. i watched the introduction videa..may be we hav to find girl name by anagram...

    ReplyDelete
  113. @ Kainonlainen YOU ROCK
    I'm out now

    ReplyDelete
  114. I don't get it, can't find the spot, the only gray things holding the shelves are on the up view

    ReplyDelete
  115. Down view, and left of dress on side of cabinet..

    ReplyDelete
  116. wow Kainonlainen! great find! now just arrange the girl's name and get the number.

    ReplyDelete
  117. and out. It truely is Alice Evans, just have to switch between those freakin A's and E's. :)

    ReplyDelete
  118. OUT finally

    ReplyDelete
  119. Woohoo, hooray for Kainonlainen!

    ReplyDelete
  120. ok got it, thx, it was way too dark and I couldn't see it

    ReplyDelete
  121. Opened code, have key.

Egypt before acropolis, and everest before versailles.

    ReplyDelete
  122. aridza, the grey thing is there, bit hard to see though. Right under the UP sign.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Rank : F
    Time : 02:140:47 LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  124. OK, I am out. I regret, and deleted, what I said earlier and thank Doctor Fou for apologizing.

The spot to use the SD in the closet was too dark to see the bracket, let alone any indication that there was a screw there. There was a bug with the card in the box, and a bug with people ending up in a dark area. And of course the Ephesus card, which was addressed. If these things were all taken care of this would be a very enjoyable and well done game I think. As it is, it was more frustrating than enjoyable. Thanks everyone for sticking it out, and especially to Kainonlainen for finding the unfindable.

    ReplyDelete
  125. There was no indication to use the screwdriver there, that was a bad bad design.

    ReplyDelete
  126. i found the spot ....

its where trouser is lying on the floor in closet ....just on the rite of shelf grey patch ..use SD on it ...

    ReplyDelete
  127. @Kainonlainen! Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Okay, my sequence was
    Abu Simbel
    Statue of Liberty
    Igauna Falls
    Coliseum
    Everest
    Eiffel Tower (library)
    Versailles
    Acropolis
    Neuschwanstein
    Stonehenge

    ReplyDelete
  129. the game is not that bad if they make screws there & the towel portion is illogical (atleast for me )

    ReplyDelete
  130. and out, thanks Kainonlainen!!!

    ReplyDelete
  131. Kainonlainen

Once again - you biscuit :)
    Take a bow

    ReplyDelete
  132. I still can't find this hidden spot to use a screw driver my finger gives up lol
To bad this was a hidden spot to find the end of the game it was going good

    ReplyDelete
  133. @ clee its in the closet where that trouser is lying on the floor & purplr dress is hanging ...on the rite of bottom shelf ..grey colour type pannel

    ReplyDelete

    http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/7491/escrevefoto507323ac0cf8.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  136. That was just too painful due to insufficient clue. Many kudos to Kainonlainen for finding a spot for which there were NO hints that it existed. This made it a mere pixel hunt, which nobody likes -- would anyone enjoy running around 2 rooms stabbing EVERYTHING with a screwdriver? Having to swap number around due to the repeated letters in Alice Evans isn't too painful, but the variety of possibilities for the letters (e.g. Versailles, which could also be C for chateau or F for France) makes the puzzle too broad.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I dont have the numbers yet =(

    ReplyDelete
  138. Paula,
Did you get the cards in the right order yet? Just flip them after you do

    ReplyDelete
  139. which is the order of the photos?

    ReplyDelete
  140. how do you open the new door, i've tried to combine but na=da

    ReplyDelete
  141. how to open new door? tried to combine but na=da,what am i missing?

    ReplyDelete
  142. After you find the bracket that Kainonlainen found (there is a screenshot) then it is a case of making the first letters of the cards spell 'Alice Evans'. That may be different for every game as the numbers are - you may get lucky and find your combination in the comments above

    ReplyDelete
  143. Actually, the hard part was naming the pictures. The rest was mainly clickity click click. Thank you for a good game, tho. Numbers are all different for each person and game.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Thank you, Kainonlainen. I'm so glad that's over so I can pretend it never existed.

    ReplyDelete
  145. @Kainonlainen thank you very much for the hidden screw !! It was a good game but the last screw was a bit ridiculous because it was almost invisible.
But well..... We had the solution but no place to enter it.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Really not a bad game. EXCEPT for finding that last spot to use the screwdriver. If we hadn't got distracted with thinking Niagra Falls, we would have had the Alice Evans much earlier - Though it would have been nicer if her name had been something that didn't repeat letters from the last name...that was a minor annoyance, though.

But I wish developers with the latest graphics cards and monitors would remember that many of the players have old computers/monitors and 'in the motherboard' graphic cards. I had to go in and up my gamma to ridiculous before I could even see where to try the screwdriver (after Kainonlainen found it - I still couldn't find it just clicking). Had it been visible, I probably would have found it because I was clicking everywhere that looked clickable, with everything...lol.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Hi, the order for numbers is ALICE EVANS: Abu, Liberty, Iguana falls, Coliseo, everest, Versailles, Acropolis, Neush.. and stone. Give key

    ReplyDelete
  148. Not worth playing a game with almost 400 comments. That many comments only means a frustrating experience.

    ReplyDelete
  149. There were a lot of really nice things about this game. Playing it live would have been a challenge, but with the great hints left by those who did, it was quite fun and challenging for me. Thanks, Doctor Fou!

    ReplyDelete
  150. There were a lot of really nice things about this game. Playing it live would have been a challenge, but with the great hints left by those who did, it was quite fun and challenging for me. Thanks, Doctor Fou!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Well, in my opinion it's a bit stubit to have words Liberty and Everest there. Couldn't they have used locations REALLY starting with L or E? Now it's just confusing.

And oh, I actually thought there was a spot to click there, since usually you don't see those grey things (still don't know theirs name..) in escape games, but the shelfs are just floating on the air. :) Still, a screw would have been nice.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I've been lurking in the background most of the time of the live game, 'cos I startet when there were 200+ posts already and wasn't able to help by any means, and I share the dislikes of the posts above: ridiculous pixelhunt for the last screw, no clear hints how to use the names of the places, double use of the solution letters A and E. I even didn't try to get out in the end (my number combination didn't work), something that happens very rarely to me- usually I try to get out in EVERY game I start. A shame, the rest of the game was very, very good, but those three things really spoiled the fun.

Just one or two ideas how the game would have been perfect: As always a changing hand cursor is the best thing around to avoid so horrible pixelhunts, at least a text message like: 'A screw! If I only had a screwdriver.' or 'This board looks suspicious' would have been nice (there have been text messages all over the place for so many useless things). Another idea would have been a well hidden diary, or flight tickets to the destinations, so there would have been hints for the names and we didn't have to guess if it is the things on the postcards or the places (just like there was a hint for the first name of the daughter, Alice, by clicking the picture).

Maybe the game would have been too easy with those amendments, but much more enjoyable to play.

    Just my two cents...

    ReplyDelete
  153. im out. but the end is disapointing for me... just my opinion...

(EDGDAWT = Every Game Deserves A Walk Through)
I started this walkthrough as I played the game, looking for hints as I got stuck
Finished earlier today, but now finally publishing it
Much of this is a summary of earlier dicoveries (I probably missed a few credits -- apologies to those I missed)
If you read earlier comments, the game maker made at least one change after the game was started (replacing one card with another)
I apologize for the mixed points of view (you/we/I/he/she)

There's a video on the start page showing a stranger breaking into the house.
It also gives you the family name, which becomes important later
While playing, pay attention to the comments below -- the important ones (like the postcard names) can't be repeated

Opening scene in the game shows your hands tied behind your back
At first, there seems like nothing you can do (There are 4 lower scenes and 4 upper scenes)
In the lower corner with a purple box, find an ice skate -- it cuts the rope

Zazie says, "Click between the grey and black box on bottom to the right for highheel. Throw highheel on a box in upper shelf on the left side and use sd on keyhole."
So you find the spot (ice skate scene), but still don't have an SD, but you do find 2 POSTCARDS (STONEHENGE and Statue of LIBERTY)
Go around on bottom and lo and behold, there's a yellow SD next to the red shoes!
Jimmy the door lock to get out of the closet.

    In bedroom, look around
In drawer you find a LOCKED BOX
In mess on floor find a KEY
Key opens the locked box for a 3rd POSTCARD (COLLOSEUM)

Discover you can move postcards in inventory and flip them over for numbers
At some point you're going to reorder the cards for a number (NOTE: the numbers change every game)
Under TV find 4th POSTCARD "NEUSCHWANSTEIN Castle"

Wandering around, (can't go into hall), find bath
Pick up TOWEL, SCISSORS, and TRASHCAN
Go back to posts and find Zazie has 5 postcards!

Then she finds her 6th left of toilet -- Look there and find "mount EVEREST"
Then search again and find your 6th in cb under pic of daughter: IGUAZU Falls

Returning to Zazie's comments, she found "OILY CREAM" in tub -- after a bunch of clicks, you realize it's the right light triangle in tub
Again following Zazie's leads, place bin by curtain, then get FINIAL from curtain rod
(Zazie again) Look at finial to get RUBY
Use ruby on box in inventory to get a POSTCARD "Castle at VERSAILLES"
Note: When I first played, this postcard wouldn't come out; if this happens you have to restart)

RSA Momma Cyndi says there's a postcard somewhere in the alarm clock view, but where?
Ah! in crack between nightstand and bed "ABU Simbel"
She also found one in closet -- pick up bin and put it to left of door and go up to find a new view

(Which leads you to wonder: with a rampaging mad man in the house, why are we collecting postcards?)

Now aridza finds you can put towel under chest (picture of you and Henry), which allows you to move the chest for EIFFEL Tower
That's 10 postcards, and the character says maybe you should sort them and use the number somewhere!
But no place to use them yet (about a third of the comments deal with what the order could be)

Pao discovers you can take the towel, and wet it in the sink
(Now don't ask me how you can get a towel under a heavy dresser and out again or why you couldn't use a second towel -- this is an escape game with its own logic)
miles1 tells us to use on the wall where you found the Eiffel tower postcard, then use scissors
SwissMiss discovers you can use SD on closet door handle
Put handle on new door but "it's still locked"

Finally, Kainonlainen: "FOUND IT/In the closet in the view with purple dress USE SD!"
In the lower view -- find a safe! (note: you can find this early on before escaping closet)

Simply arrange the cards, FLIP them, enter number and open the safe for an OLD KEY
Use the old key on the new door and you're out!

  161. Escaping Amnesia 3 -- part 2
    Solving the number code:
    The postcards are:
    STONEHENGE
    Statue of LIBERTY
    ABU Simbel
    IGUAZU Falls
    COLLOSEUM
    mount EVEREST
    NEUSCHWANSTEIN castle
    Castle of VERSAILLES
    ACROPOLIS of Athens
    EIFFEL Tower

I initially was looking for dates for things, but the falls and mountain don't have dates
Alpabetizing the capitalized words doesn't work
Melody54 pointed out you could anagram first letters to get "ALICE EVANS", the daughter
    The problem: there are 2 A's and 2 E's
If you put these pairs in alpabetical order, you can open the safe

  162. My biggest complaint is the comments that only appear once. Especially, once you have the cards in inventory, you can't get the names displayed. You shouldn't have to use Riddle game tricks to solve the puzzles.

  163. for future players the post cards are now labeled and the ones that have the same start letter are in alphabetical order

  164. Hi everybody & Doctor Fou,
a few times there was a blackscreen suddenly after switching rooms, after clicking at a side to turn around the colors came back - yay!
In my version of this game with eiffel tower all of the names where 1. visible by clicking on the postcard (as often as i wanted to see them) & 2. relevant names/words have been in capital letters (e.g. LIBERTY).
After reading about anagrams and alice evans i simply put them in order.
2a's? no problem, 1 was AC the other AB - b before c and go. input it into the safe (there were screws visible and only at that spot!), took the key and went out...
my only problem has been the blackscreen appearing out of the blue.
besides it was a very good game, i think!
