    ReplyDelete
  42. screwdriver handle is in cyan heart box..the code was in one of the colored cupboards or behind it i think? also you need the paper from behind the cupboard

    ReplyDelete
  44. thnx urban! silly me i didnt notice the numbers changed colors..lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. unable to find code for left heart cupboard.. according to windows blinds and cupboard clue, should'nt it be 3458 ? but it does not work

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ty @Urban!
@annaby, you have to open the cb under the yellow box first, and use the key by the windows to see numbers on the curtains. Put curtain numbers in the order shown in yellow heart cupboard.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Check the catfoto's when you're out:)

    ReplyDelete
  49. thanks @471, but isn't that 3458?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @cathrine, the clues dont say "first use the 4th curtain etc", they say:
    start with 2nd curtain, then 4th ....

  55. @nokra, when all snowmen have numbers, use them in the color order you see on your hint note.

    ReplyDelete
  56. OK...LOL...antone is not here.....anyone care to help me with the purple door??? Please?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @nokra: see my post at 12/22/12 8:21 AM

    ReplyDelete
  58. CRAP!!!! when the heck did they get numbers!!!!???? lol

    ReplyDelete
  59. thanks 471today ! I still don't get it (this is a blonde day lol)but it works anyway

    ReplyDelete
  60. TY @471today and @urban! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  61. @catherine, there are always two ways of reading a hint like "4132".
If you need to change order of ABCD, you can do as you did: 4th letter first, which would be D, then 1st letter, which is A etc and you end up with DACB.

    The other way:
4132=ABCD so, number them like A=4, B=1, C=3, D=2, then order them as 1234, which is BDCA.

Confusing, I hope you get it.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I still can't find the key to the curtains.
    Where is it?

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Muhne - I think that falls out when you put the cotton on the tree

    ReplyDelete
  64. those are cute cat pics in the end :)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Oh heck...I had one space left empty and didn't save the game! Did anyone get the 2nd end?

    ReplyDelete
  66. @annaby: It did indeed! The cotton looked blended out already so I didn't klick on it.
    thank you

    ReplyDelete
  67. @munhe.....I actually posted something before, that could help you...thanks for you help earlier!

    nokra 12/22/12 8:35 AM
I got cotton from the top right, using the lit candle code...put on the tree for the window key!

yes, it falls on the floor!

I love the Christmas Kitty pics!!!! Great game!

    ReplyDelete
  68. what a beautiful tree
    and so colourful!

    ReplyDelete
  69. lol! I did so much better when I worked out the grey thing was a knob not a light bulb!!!
    Happy Christmas!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I have the second end, it seems: two glasses of red wine and the remark that she was late in the end but he didnt complain.

thanks to annaby and nokra - and to all who posted
    have a nice evening!

    ReplyDelete
  71. to 471today : thank you for explanation, worst thing is I knew this way to proceed.. i told you it's my blonde day lol)

    ReplyDelete
  72. I don't get the snowmen clue on the note at all. Can't open either of the cupboards under the heart boxes. Please could someone help?

    ReplyDelete
  73. @divinyl, do you have the clue note? there are 4 numbers in different colors on it. Click on the numbers 1,2,3,4 on the right cupboard (below yellow heart box) to change their colors to the same as the note.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have the note. If I change the colours to blue, green, red, yellow as per the numbers, it just says 'error'. Thanks for responding by the way :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. @Nokra, I found the game, posted it and went away to play with little Tessie. Sorry for not being around to reply, but I do it now...

Merry Christmas for you too, my dear friend!!!!!!
    :D

    ReplyDelete
  76. is anyone going to do a walk through? i am getting confused in the steps. may have to start over. hope someone does one

    ReplyDelete
  77. matchbox says heart 8614, note shows direction, nothing works. so alone here. what other clue am i not recognizing?

    ReplyDelete
  78. @divinyl, then maybe you are using the wrong blue? There are 2 kinds. You should use dark blue.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @brin, that should work. It is 8614, start on top, and move clockwise.
8 top, 6 right, 1 bottom, 4 left, then press button.

    ReplyDelete
  80. nope still not working :( can't figure out why
i am going to reload game thanks @471

    ReplyDelete
  81. yeah reloaded game and it worked, very odd but out

    ReplyDelete
  82. wait, I just came back and wanted to find the other ending and what must I discover after another half an hour? the description just changed and the sentence about the two endings disappeared... :(

    ReplyDelete
  83. What is the number for the left cb under the hearts??

    ReplyDelete
  84. @Zoe, it's been said above.

  86. I'll admit I was a bit disappointed that Choko, Chai, and Chibi-Nyan didn't play a role in the game, but still a great holiday escape. :]

    ReplyDelete
  87. Loved this!

The key hint got me stumped (above sign, very sneaky!)

Looks that I got best ending first time...yes "she's late but he didn't complain" ... same thing.

I guess other ending will not be that good then...

    ReplyDelete
  88. P.S. I personally only loved the tree through the half of the game, then I HATED IT!
Because I don't like it at all when Christmas trees get as overloaded as this one...

    ReplyDelete
  89. lol @arbeitslooser, I completely share your opinion about the tree. better don't watch the "cute" pictures after you finished...they are even more cheesy.
it looks like, you haven't read my comment above, but there is only one ending.

    ReplyDelete
  90. thanks for the info, so I'm going to quit stupid searching for 2nd one then ;)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Frustrating when clues can be read multiple valid ways.... 3 stars with a potential of 5.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Out with no help, had to brute force the red number???

    ReplyDelete
  93. for the purple door, take the numbers that now appear on the snowmen and order them the same as on the note.
