  1. I've got a fair way through the maze and discovered that this game needs a bit of thought. Unfortunately, I've had too much wine so I'll give it a go tomorrow.

    Happy Christmas :o)

  36. what is that every usurper, every king, caesar, monarch, cancellor(...) craves for...?

    ReplyDelete
  37. What am I supposed to do with the zodiac mechanism (1st level)?

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ Fuzzel the answer is what every battle is fought for. The thing that comes with the trone:
    P....

@1054ce its a simple "hit the buttons in the right order" puzzle seek for a hint in the wallpanels and the book.

    ReplyDelete
  39. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @FuZzEL: That would be a 5-letter word that starts with "P". An ability which every leader has in order to rule over others. Spoiler.

@1054ce: Starting with a certain sign, enter the rooms in a certain order. The clock hand gives the hint to which sign is next. Part spoiler.

Personally stuck in the second riddle room, level 1. Can't think of an "R" word which shows strength or ray of hope.

  42. @shunko kuda the word you seek is one that many battles have been fought over. everyone says theres the best, but no one knows for certain. don't know how to do spoiler tags so... :P

  44. @Ruben Wulms: Thank you for the explanation, gave me the hint to figure out the answer. Guess I wasn't far off when I thought of "faith".

OOC: HTML tags use "<" and ">". The common spoiler tag I see here would use [b title="(spoiler content)"]Text[/b]. Replace "[" and "]" with "<" and ">".

  45. Level 3 - How do you keep the torch lit?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Pfiouuuuuu out!
I choose to disobey, don't need their protection ;)

  47. Stuck with pipes - is there a way to reset it if you don't make it in time?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Once you set up the pipes and you don't make it to the door, you should be able to hit the valve again and start the process again.

I'm stuck on of all things the geometry thing with my buddy Ron. This should be very straightforward but what I think is the right answer is not right. I have a rectangle of area 18 (3x6), a triangle of dimensions 3x4 (area 6) and a square of dimension 3.5 (I assume the 3,5 means 3.5), and an equation of rectangle+triangle-square. Should have 11.75 (which I've entered with a period and a comma) but apparently this is not the answer. Help.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anyone know how to do the pipes

    ReplyDelete
  50. @andrea same problem here.

@cartmansis you have to try a bit, if they are conected right they snap together. only one way fits.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @andrea I have gotten through, it's not the surface but the perameter of the shapes.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Stuck in library - nowhere to go...

    ReplyDelete
  53. @1054ce is it the level with the eerie sound?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ruben - yes. Nothing to pick up, only a locked door.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Begining of library? Think of the doors as pressure locks, triggered when you step on the tiles making the eerie sound.

To prevent the locking, walk through the rooms while avoiding spots which make the sound. Look closely on the floors; they should give you hint on how to walk. That, plus some trial and error.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Avoiding the spinning red balls is making this game not very fun...

    ReplyDelete
  57. What an epic game. Thanks for the help, everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  58. help with password after perimeter puzzle. I've tried every variation of Pi, Phi, Fibonacci, Golden Spiral, Golden Ratio, Etc...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Argh - computer froze up and i failed to write down all the passwords past level 5!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. What's the deal with the bird statues? Any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  61. if I could get past the Fibonacci door password I might be of help

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Michael Bacich - it's very simple. It's not a word. What comes next?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anybody still here? I'm stacked at 5th level. Don't know what to do with the ropes (me and my body Ron)

    ReplyDelete
  64. use the eye and line the weights into the red

    ReplyDelete
  65. For the ropes you need to go to the door and use the eye thing to see the weights. Each rope controls a weight and you need to get them all in the red line. You will hear a click when it's right.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think so, but don't know how? I used the eye, but how can I know where is red line on ropes?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anyone get past the bird statues?

    ReplyDelete
  68. stuck with bells on lvl 6, i assume they relate to the nightingale but I don't have sound. is this required?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ring bells and exit three times...

    ReplyDelete
  70. @odaliska - they are backwards beause the boys are on the opposite sides of the wall.. line one up and the rest should follow

    ReplyDelete
  71. yes, finnaly. Thanks Michael..

    ReplyDelete
  72. what to do with bells on level 6?
does it have to do with the scroll?
    don't understand it

    ReplyDelete
  73. struggling with the birds now too

    ReplyDelete
  74. Ring the bells until you hear the bird chirp.
Hit 'W' to exit and then repeat two times.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I hope I remembered that right....
Maybe I just clicked bells until the bird chirped three times and then hit "W"...

    ReplyDelete
  76. For the birds statues touch them in this order:

Empty, Gold, Raven, Small and Proud.

    Whew! Finally!

    ReplyDelete
  77. here is a walkthrough in polish, but with helpful pics:
    http://ja.gram.pl/blog_wpis.asp?id=927110&n=35

    ReplyDelete
  78. is it trial and error for the bells? I've clicked many times and didn't hear any chirp

    ReplyDelete
  79. POP... Got it. But not really sure how I did. Just clicked ramdomly until I heard a sound

    ReplyDelete
  80. OMG Avoid the red ball is a nightmare!
    I'm almost giving up

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Morganna

That part took me a while. The pics on the link you posted has some helpful positions.
I almost gave up as well. I'm on L9 now...

    ReplyDelete
  82. I gave up on the last circles puzzle.
It was even harder than the spinning red balls!
Even though I know the order, the precise positioning and timing needed is ridiculously difficult.

It was a very well made game though.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I agree with you T White
I follow the order but when I go to the last circle it all lights out.
It's a shame having to quit so close to the end

    ReplyDelete
  84. Late information, but for the bells, what was printed on the scroll wasn't refering to the "sizes" of the bells but their "tones".

    ReplyDelete
  85. stupid red balls! Give me a real puzzle, my fingers are not that fast!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. If I'm not mistaken, the (spinning) red balls have a fixed pattern in moving. Once you've located the safe spots, you should be able to clear with less difficulty.

For starters, go to the corner which is the furthest from the balls.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Password for 2nd door: "power"

    ReplyDelete
  88. password 3 door: "religion"

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks Shunko, but these are big ones that are chasing me (after the room where I have a "twin" that I moved into a light spot to open the door/light spot)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think I'm on level 7, but I'm stuck--literally. I'm in a grassy area with a house, a tent, a fire, and a bush in the corner. I can't exit; there's no dialogue. I'm just stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  91. how to release the ball on level three? it is stuck to my 'finger'. It is for getting the bottle

    ReplyDelete
  92. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Andrea: Ah, that is one problem. Have to memorize the path I suppose.

@Prufrock: Is it the house at the bottom left corner. Got stuck there once, had to replay the level for me.

@Sanskie: You use it to hit the one of the kerosine bottles, black ones left of wall shelf.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks Shunko kuda, still stuck inlevel three, notihing to combine, opened one door but it has a padlock...

    ReplyDelete
  95. @sanskie - have you gotten the noose yet? You need fire to get it..

    ReplyDelete
  96. I quit for a while and came back. That stupid red ball ruins this game. I can get past the first screen but not the second and of course you have to start from the beginning of the red ball maze every time you die. That's it. I give up. A shame because it was fun until so close to the end.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Morgana Queiroz: ty ty ty for the Polish walk through....between that and google translator it help a whole heck of a lot.....beautiful game, a little trying at times, but a nice challenge and loved the music

    ReplyDelete
  98. thanks eliking! That helped me to progress a lot! Momentarily stuck at runnung towards the door while water is chasing me, door not getting any closer, haha
