ReplyDeleteI finally figured out that when you put your email address in the box on the register screen, they'll send you an email. Confirm by clicking the link in it. Then enter password of your choice - you're in, hopefully in future gotmail games as well.
ReplyDeleteI had to register at the Gotmail.jp address. At the main Gotmail site, at the top left there is a register button, click on it which takes you to a page where you enter in your e-mail (it's all in Japanese). You should immediately get an email and then click on the link on your email which takes you to the registration page. There's basically five sections to complete (all in Japanese). From top to bottom:
ReplyDelete- enter in nickname of your choice
- birth date in pull down menu (year, month, day)
- left is male and right button is female
- choice of password (I believe no special symbols allowed, only numbers or letters)
- repeat password
Push button prompts (second confirmation screen I picked left button don't know what it means).
There comes a point where it simply is not worth the trouble just to play a game. I have reached that point with GotMail games.
ReplyDeleteRegister so you can spam me, or use a "borrowed" login. Click on the link to go to the other webpage where the hint is, get the hint, and be returned to the opening screen asking me to log back in and start the game all over again.
Sorry, GotMail. But no more clicks for you from me.

@Lottie: We here in the USA set up our dates as Month/Day, too. So seeing it set up as Day/Month is more European to me.

Do yourself a favor and take the time to register your own account. I don't receive spam from them, so I'm wondering if you guys are writing out your email correctly.
Gotmail games are always going to be in Japanese because that's their country of origin. Having them translated in English will always come later. Thankfully escapegames24 will notify us when that happens.
So please don't feel upset by this.
