  1. I usually hate downloading anything, but decided to try because I really like these games and because I see them on here so much, I figured they must be safe or there would be a lot of people yelling about it. First thing I notice is you can't download the actual game, although it says it is downloading it. You are actually downloading a "game downloader" that let's you download other games also.
This is not cool. Already feel like I've been tricked.

  2. Update... the game itself was taking so long to download I tried to stop it and surprise! It crashed my browser.

  3. Jessica, these games are from BigFishGames and their games are safe. "Game Downloader" is for keeping user's downloaded games in one location. These games played by millions of players without any problem from all over the world. It is just difficult to download and play these huge games but they have better quality than online games.

  4. Sorry to disagree. I used to be a Big Fish Games member and downloaded often and got several viruses. When I approached BFG to report that I recieved a virus and that AVG picked it up in one of the games, they denied it as even possible. After reformatting my HD I discontinued downloads and have been virus free ever since

  5. Jessica and PL Barfield - GOOD TO KNOW!!! Thanks for the warnings!

  6. PL Barfield, "Games Downloader" needs to contact to server to approve and download games and some antivirus softwares think that it is virus or something else. Some antivirus softwares don't work very well and they may give warning for anything. One day i got warning when i download and install Google Chrome.

BigFishGames is a big and first known company about casual games and they don't need to put virus in their games. For this reasons, please don't scare any players with such comments. BigFishGames and their games checked daily by "McAfee Secure" :

  8. No disrespect Escaper but this part really irks me "Game Downloader" is for keeping user's downloaded games in one location."
You know, I am perfectly capable of keeping my games in one location on my computer, and for them to make a stand-alone downloader suggests that either I am not capable, or they are up to no good. Either is offensive and NOT NECESSARY. Also, your comment " It is just difficult to download and play these huge games" makes absolutely no sense. Since when is it difficult to download something because it's big? It's the SAME SIZE whether you download just the game or the game through their download application.

  10. don't download from Big Fish games they do have viruses, and Mcafee Secure is junk

  11. I have more than 100 games downloaded from BigFishGames on three computers for testing and playing reasons but i never got any problem or virus warning. And i never use bad and free antivirus softwares, which usually give warning even when you install known programs. Also every virus warning doesn't mean that they have viruses. These antivirus softwares may give warning when a software try to communicate with server and change some necessary settings and etc.

If you don't like downloadable games please just skip them and don't scare other players with such comments. Because there are thousands of people comes here everyday just for downloadable games via search engines.

  12. The issue here should not be viruses. The issue here should be why a "game downloader" is even necessary. The fact is...it isn't. So why is it there? The only answer that makes any sense is that there is software being installed on your computer which has nothing to do with the games. Tracking software, most likely, which most AV programs flag as suspicious, and which can cause performance problems if they are not coded well.

That is not to say they are malicious, or that they are somehow dangerous...they may not be. But they are being installed surreptitiously. That is a deceptive business practice. With so many game designers out there *not* engaging in deceptively installing software on your computer, why would anyone risk it on a company who does just for a flash game?
