  20. Very odd, out without opening brown box!?

    ReplyDelete
  21. out, not sure I used the sharer or the log I placed on chopping block somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  22. still cant get colour box ...i tries with lines on window frame but nopes

    ReplyDelete
  23. Out too, thisone was a bit strange for me ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Didn't need the "shearer", didn't do anything with the log placed on the stump? Didn't open the brown number box? I'm guessing an axe head is in the brown box and when we chop open the log we get something special... too bad I can't figure out the number code!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I didn´t use the sharer (i think) nor did i cut the wooden block. And i bruteforced the colors :-(

    ReplyDelete
  26. how ST ? its BF or any logic ..

    ReplyDelete
  27. Out if anyone needs help..not very logical in places but you need to clear stuff from front door to open it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Started putting random numbers in brown box. Last tried 2114, but didn't do anything. Then when I came back to that screen and clicked on the box (didn't change the number), it opened. Might be a bug. I got a dull axe. Sharpened it with the "shearer". Chopped the log... but got nothing. Exited just as before.

    ReplyDelete
  29. To clear door use gloves, magnet, gloves, gloves again.

    ReplyDelete
  30. No Bruteforce Raasti,
Red has 4 lines around it and with the little dots/squares 4 is the fourth so that's R etc.

    ReplyDelete
  31. ohh ok now i understand ....:D

    ReplyDelete
  32. Found the hint for brown box...it are the colored lines on the round windows. Start with the shortest.

    4132

    ReplyDelete
  33. Got the axe, sharpened it, but where is it used now ?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think there's a bug in the brown box. This time it opened for 3131, but only after clicking a few times after placing the number.

    ReplyDelete
  35. It is used on the log, but you don't get anuthing after you cut that log!?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Twice through, didn't get anything when I chopped the log. Lame, since it took so long to get the axe!

    ReplyDelete
  37. It does nothing on the log, the mousepointer is changing to a hand but nothing happens.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Zazie, first sharpen that axe.
But it doesn't matter, it just cuts it and that's it!?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Normally i love these games, but not thisone, it seems to be really buggy.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I sharpened it already s-t, but it doesn´t do anything.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The box opened on 4131 for me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Lol, just looked at the build-in walkthrough. They never open the brown box either, but they do take the log and put it on the tree stump and they take the sharpener and then they forget all about it :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. For the brown box code, it's the knots on the 4 wooden boards (in the blue box view) from left to right:
4,1,3,1 (except on the left log only 3 are visible, and one is behind the snowflake).

This gives the axe, which combined with the sharper makes the axe useable on the log.

Look at the pieces of the log on the ground. Their sizes tell which order to click the buttons on the tall grey cupboard (small to large) - 3124.
However, there is a bug which makes you only need to click 4 to open. That's why the whole brown-box-log-thing is useless.

  48. n games of this level actually explains y certain developers deserve to be paid for their games !! made a suggestion before .. to have more quality games , a subscription site is needed .. which may include a free area of course !!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I get a constant 'hourglass', not much fun :(

Still got out without really finishing properly (as s-t above, the game maker/s forgot stuff) Dipwads!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Incredibly poor and illogical! Still don't understand the brown box. Was it supposed to be a red herring or something? The whole thing was super-buggy... it took me ages to move the stuff in front of the house, so I kept thinking there was something else I needed to do, but then it turned out that everything else (opening the brown box, finding the axe, sharpening it, chopping the log) was totally pointless, and all I needed to do was persevere with trying to find the pixels that resulted in the logs and metal bars getting moved to the wheelbarrow and wooden cart things respectively. Highly unimpressed!

  51. Either the publishers screwed up and published the wrong version, or the Author had too many beers!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. wheres the sharpener all i have is a magnet,2 gloves axe and a key

  55. There is a mistake in this game which makes some clues useless (it’s possible to open the tall grey cupboard by only clicking once on the right button). However, here is a Walkthrough to show the “correct “ way to play, in case anyone cares :)

    WALKTHROUGH
Solutions at the end of the Walkthrough.

Note the pots in the window.
    Turn right.

Take a LOG from the foot of the big tree to the right of the house.
Note the colors in the windows.
Note the lines on the window frames.
    Turn right twice.

    Open the 4-digit blue box.
    Hint – pots – hint.
    Get a HAMMER.
Have a look at the four wooden boards.
    Turn right.

Take the LADDER from the left side of the house.
Use the hammer on the handle of the water pump to get a METAL BAR.
Have a look at the icicles by the 4 lamps.
Note the squares in the wall above the yellow cupboard: 3,2,5,4
Use the metal bar to open the yellow cupboard and get a GLOVE.
    Turn right twice.

    Open the 4-digit brown box.
    Hint – boards – hint.
    Get an AXE.
    Turn right.

Change the position of the 4 levers.
    Hint – ice – hint.
    Get a SHARPENER.
Combine the sharpener and the axe.
Place the log on the wooden stump.
Use the sharpened axe on the log.
Note the pieces on the ground.
Place the ladder on the left side of the house (click close to the roof), to get the SECOND GLOVE from the roof.
    Turn right.

Change the colors of the 4 buttons.
Hint – windows and squares – hint
    Get a KEY.
    Turn right.

Open the tall grey cupboard by clicking the buttons in the correct order.
There is a bug which opens the cupboard by only clicking once on the right button, but that’s not the true way to do it.
    Hint – log – hint.
    Get a MAGNET.
    Turn right.

    Combine the gloves in inventory.
Use the magnet on the pile of things in front of the door.
Use the combined gloves on the same pile.
    Use the magnet again.
    Use the gloves again (twice).
Use the key in the door to open.
    Escape!

  56. SOLUTIONS
    Blue 4-digit box
Count the amount of pots in each window in the first view.
    Solution: 2414

    Brown 4-digit box
Look at the 4 wooden boards (in the view of the blue box).
Count the knots on each board (one knot on the left board is behind the snowflake).
    Solution: 4131

    Levers
Look at the length of the icicles by the lamps in the water pump view.
They are long, short, medium, medium, so the levers are:
    down, up, middle, middle

    Color buttons
Look at the colored windows in 2:nd view, and count the lines in the window frames:
Red = 4 lines, Green = 2 lines, Blue = 3 lines (one behind the snowflake), Yellow = 5 lines.
Now, remember the amount of squares in the wall above the yellow cupboard (3,2,5,4). They show the order of the colors.
Solution: 3254 = blue, green, yellow, red

    Grey cupboard
Look at the sizes of the pieces of the chopped log.
Click the buttons from small size to large.
The order to click the buttons (from left):
    2:nd, 3:rd, 1:st, 4th

  57. I loved the first 4 of these Snow Escape games. Perhaps this one wasn't tested well. Anyway, hope to see more of them.

  58. Thanks Ellie--more enjoyable when you solve everything.
