Twinkle - Jack and the Beanstalk is another free online point and click room escape game from Twinkle. Solve puzzles and find objects to escape the room. Good luck and have fun! [Subbed by Roberto via EG24 Chat] Play Jack and the Beanstalk
Ohh that's what it was! Thanks Nini and Thrynn, I wasn't realizing I had to use the paper hint twice for both safes. Out now. And Roberto, I kept the harp and golden-eggs-hen, also the gold coins.
No alternative ending cos that's how the story goes. It's actually about a little fable about the little man (Jack's a peasant) fighting back against the greedy, gold-hoarding man at the top. A good socialist allegory!

I've put a cow in my inventory -hope that wasn't my pocket or backpack- then gave cow to old man. Then put seed to grow.

ReplyDeleteUsed axe after Jack comes down Beanstalk and game ended, but never used harp or hen. Must be another end.

ReplyDeleteand forcing the colors doesn't work either.
ReplyDelete@ IrishEyes. Your code is correct. Click the box after input it.
ReplyDeleteI went down the stalk .... but no giant?!?
ReplyDeleteDid I miss a "color" puzzle? I used the flowers, clouds, and leaf hint to enter the 3 digit number based on the wet paper clue.
Where is the giant?
giant's foot is just visible on the stalk when you go down
ReplyDeletehuh...guess I had to click on the flowers, clouds and leaves inorder to put their colors in the box.
ReplyDeleteThrynn, I used that for number code, but I can't figure the colour code for the third safe.

Don´t think good end is cutting stalk. What is harp and hen for?
ReplyDeleteRoberto, maybe we give them to wise man in left scene?....going back in to see
ReplyDeleteVerito the hint for the color code is the same for the 3-dig code~~
ReplyDeleteRoberto, maybe harp and hen are your rewards?
ReplyDeleteNever used bag of green seeds either.
ReplyDeleteRoberto.. the in the actual story.. Jack cuts the beanstalk, making the giant fall.
ReplyDeleteI did miss a puzzle - the three color one.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Flower (pink) cloud (blue) leaf (green) does not work - because clouds are not blue. They are (white). :-)
tried to give items to wise man....he doesn't want them ;{.....cutting down vine
ReplyDeleteYou got The End after cutting stalk and "Retry". You should get "Play Again", not "Retry".
ReplyDeleteOhh that's what it was! Thanks Nini and Thrynn, I wasn't realizing I had to use the paper hint twice for both safes. Out now. And Roberto, I kept the harp and golden-eggs-hen, also the gold coins.
ReplyDeleteAnd~~~ the giant hits his head on the ground and dies! Yay happy end haha
ReplyDeletePoor giant. We invade his house, take his goods and run away. We cut the tree and he falls and dies. And that's the happy end...

ReplyDeleteHaving the hen, gold and harp is "why" the giant chases you down the beanstalk. You are "using" them by stealing them back from the giant.
ReplyDeleteYou are not stealing them back - they belong to the giant. Stop Thief !
ReplyDeleteParky is right - crap ethics but good story, should go far in this world!
ReplyDeleteNo alternative ending cos that's how the story goes. It's actually about a little fable about the little man (Jack's a peasant) fighting back against the greedy, gold-hoarding man at the top. A good socialist allegory!
ReplyDeleteOh, and the giant likes eating people in the original so really, don't feel bad for him!
