    ReplyDelete
  21. anyone found where to use dial & how to remove stains ?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Look out the window AND the door for the star box clue.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm out, but there are so many clues that I'm sure you find anything you need.

Good game, and thanks raasti for the hint to double check the sofa cushions.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ahh so LOL ...you hve to use wet cloth from balcony view ..

    ReplyDelete
  25. Raasti, maybe some fresh air will help your wet rag work better.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Clean window from outside on balcony.

    ReplyDelete
  27. what to do with that strange machine with triangle, circle and square?

    ReplyDelete
  28. There seems to be a second ending. The tv shows a new hint with 8 hippos if you go back, so better save before going out directly...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Dial goes in the strange machine from LR drawer.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Don't forget: Function, Language, English

    ReplyDelete
  31. and now i stuck with the square, circle, triangle one
    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  32. yes i know, i count the shape but its still saying there is something i cant reach

    ReplyDelete
  33. Has anybody managed to put dvd in player or open cupboard doors?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Nadezda Dadic ..look what number every shape makes on machine ..

IM out without help ..yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :DDDD

    ReplyDelete
  35. Use the same concept for the little machine that you did for the sofa. For each setting, outline a full single digit grid with the spots that the shapes outline. So make a separate one for the square, triangle, and circle and you'll get numbers for each. Hard to explain, hope it helped.

    ReplyDelete
  42. may be its 8 as pierpor said ..it gives you key ...i cant check now cause i didnt save game :(

    ReplyDelete
  43. sorry its eight five four ...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Happy Coin Time!

    That was pretty clever.

I saw a paid Tesshi-E game and was afraid they might be going that route. It's nice to see them still making it free.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anyone got the happy coin already? Still struggling with the second hippo clue.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Same place as you Escapism. what's with all the hippos?

    ReplyDelete
  47. nice game, I was thinking about the last hippo hint about a lonh time but its only how to look at the hint and so I´m out with Happy Coin!!!! :)

doris, you can change the language bevor you start the game!

    ReplyDelete
  48. May fortune favour you and enjoyment be yours, Avatar.

Sorry for being a dimwit, but where do i use the pliers?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Dunno Orit. They look like a right left clue, but the r/l button doesn't work anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  50. clio, look at the big window...

    ReplyDelete
  51. black düsseldorf, what does that mean 'how to look at the hint'?

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's not right/left. The hippos creates solution for the one hippo.

    ReplyDelete
  53. POP..or should i say PLOP. I forgot about the key hanging off the window. Use the pliers there.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @clio_rose: Likewise, clio...

    ReplyDelete
  55. escapism, don´t look at the Hippos, look at the aera that is black and whitw.....see the numbers

    ReplyDelete
  56. Holy cow, I see it now!! Thanks Jack_H and black düsseldorf!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thought I was doing so well I would escape a Tesshi without help. But stuck.

Where is the dvd? I have unlocked the door but not leaving without my happy coin!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Thanks escapism. (i have red face..lol)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Escapism. I think it has to do with the hippo in the closet - because the old number dose not work there anymore

    ReplyDelete
  60. POP! found it! thought I had looked there already! for those who don't know, it is on the stack of books next to the hippo

    ReplyDelete
  61. YES! it is a 4 digit number!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Escapism - take the long view....

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yep, got the happy coin now too. The hippo number is

    SPOILER2525SPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks for the help to all. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Did we ever use the lubricant? Also, what were the symbols on the keys for? One of the keys is used in the brown cabinet, didn't see a keyhole... Love the sofa cushion twist, had me the first go-around.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Tiquer lubricant was used on lock outside on the balcony

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thank you all. I worked out the happy coin number finally. I kept assuming i was wrong because of the repetition and didnt try it. Thank you all again.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This time it was easier than the others and much more logical. The only difficult part was the shapes with nrs. I got so dizzy, but Pierpor's hint helped!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Had to go but back now and out. Thanks for DVD tip. All it did was say see you later though.

The lubricant went on the rusty toolbox on the balcony.

    ReplyDelete
  70. if you look at the hippo display on the tv it makes numbers - look at the background around the hippos on the black and white sections

    ReplyDelete
  71. Gosh I feel like an eejit. The sofa clue has me stumped already. I can make out the 1st and 3 numbers, I think!, but the other two don't combine to make any number 0-9! Please help.

    ReplyDelete
  72. the number of the sofa is 3867

    ReplyDelete
  73. just in case someone's having trouble with the numbers from the couch (goodness knows it took me forever to get it...sigh)
    3867

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thank you! Everyone seemed to breeze through that bit, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I didnt have hippo clue on TV but Im out

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  77. Thank you Thrynn! I had given up, came back in the hopes some kind soul had posted numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  78. no problem adivawoman....and the colors of the birds on the tv, combine with the photos of the birds on the other side give you the directions for the picture removal

    ReplyDelete
  79. Excellent game. Not too easy and not too hard.
Music started to annoy a little though.

  81. hippo number clue is on back of red banner on balcony....I kept trying to get it off the white cloth....not my best day for playing these games lol

    ReplyDelete
  82. hippo clue for happy coin: first unlock the door, but not go out, go back to the TV and watch the DVD

    ReplyDelete
  83. I unlocked the door, but can't find the happy coin. The hippo towel has the same number than before.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I've just read Chrissi's hint for the happy coin, but the clue on TV doesn't make sense for me.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think she said to look at the white areas around the hippos....I can see a 5 and a 2

    ReplyDelete
  86. o and look at the black area around the hippos, it read 2525

    ReplyDelete
  87. happy coin, and finally out

    ReplyDelete
  88. SUPERB GAME!!

After lot of blood, sweat and tears I got out without help (Normal End).

    This was NOT so easy.
Thanks to Tesshi-e for still making free games!!

I just could need a clue (and NOT the solution) to get the Happy Coin.

Putting in that DVD only gives me "See you later".
    ?!?

    ReplyDelete
  89. POP wait! The DVD clue is only activated by UNLOCKING the exit door with the heart key. (don't go out yet!)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Yeah got it.

Well. Although it may be deemed a kind of sacrilege to think about making a critical remark about the "Grand Master of Escape Games", let me have a short say anyway:
In my book, Tesshi-e *almost took* it a little to far this time with the digi-number thing. :) They came in a whopping threes this time, and in one game too!

    1st) couch 2nd) "number-maker" ('square circle triangle' gameboy-like device) 3) Happy Coin !

It was O.K. but I think a fourth digi-number puzzle would have smelled close to "overuse" ;)

    ReplyDelete
  91. I lubricated the outside lock box but still can't open it. I assume the water jar is in there? I am stuck with a rag, key(used), wine opener(used), letter code(used), remote, dvd in dvd player, coin, and lubricant

    ReplyDelete
  92. you need lubricating oil *AND* a key of course LOL

    ReplyDelete
  93. I can't even start. WHERE is everything. I have oil, folded not and remote with no batteries. Can't find anything else? Please please please say WHERE you find stuff?

    ReplyDelete
  94. note, folded note LOL. Can someone please tell me where to use #under couch cushions, I have 5867 but it doesn't work on drawer thingie.
How do I get started here?

    ReplyDelete
  95. evans, you've got a point. Getting started in this one is the most difficult thing (that's where 70% of my blood/sweat/tears must've come from ;))

First, get yourself a sheet of paper and combine ALL four RED digit bits (per each of the four full digits) to a 4-digit number. Ignore all other bits, they're just for distraction...

I see you don't want to read the spoilers above, since the correct number is there. (This must be respected, so I won't spoil it either.)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Each digit is built of red bits on the left cushion, under the left cushion, on the right cushion and under the right cushion. Four locations, assemble all of the together. Yes it's hard work :)

    ReplyDelete
  97. I want some omelet rice!

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Jorge OK :) but if this stuff I can see there is really ketchup, I'd rather want it without ;)

    ReplyDelete
  99. I seem to be way behind. My key won't open the green box on the balcony and I don't know how to make the cloth wet for cleaning the window...

    ReplyDelete
  100. Tesshi is a real artist !

    ReplyDelete
  101. Evans: It's not a 5, but a 3

  103. @Jef
Forget it. evans was long gone...complained not to get the game started, I helped and evans disappeared without uttering a word. Politeness as usual?

Well, telling from evans'---how should I put it--- notoriously curmudgeonly moods, one should probably not be too surprised about that.

  105. OMG, I made it through without having to read any hints. AND with the HAPPY COIN. My lucky day!!! Something good is certainly waiting for me :)

Love, love , love your games Tesshi!! I look forward to each new one, more than any other developer. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Awesome as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Alright it's weird for having unused pliers and the diamond key....

    ReplyDelete
  108. love your games Tesshi,Thanks. Also I want a Mr Birdy towel!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Fantastic. I was waiting for this game all month, Tesshi. I love your games. It was also quite easy. Thank you so much. Happy Coin will surely bring happiness to you.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I think I would prefer the coffee cup over the omelet rice.
Thanks for all the great clues. That was fun.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I played it yesterday until stuck: could'nt open the brown drawer with left-right buttons, couldn't find the oil, couldn't clean the window...and no hints for that. Can someone post a walktrough please or give a hint?

    ReplyDelete
  112. Tesshi has proven once again, why it is worth to take your time making an escape game. Long wait - but no doubt worth every second. Great game.

    bio

    ReplyDelete
  113. @ JEFF ...oil is in bottom left drawer of brown shelf ..

for window clean you need cloth which you will get from glass door cabinet ...

    ReplyDelete
  114. cloth + water remove stains ...

    ReplyDelete
  115. Back again, restarted and cant remember where oil was. Just opened picture and have IBM, three steps behind, and coin

    ReplyDelete
  116. Eventually locked cabinet for glasses and have 436 bar clue

    ReplyDelete
  117. followed the clues, just worked out 845, excellent puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  118. Stuck on how to cut chain with drawer key

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ouch put number Sqr, O and Tri in wrong order, 854 give key

    ReplyDelete
  120. Finished the game now, but how do you get to 854?
Where is the hint for Square, O and triangle?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Thanks Tesshi-e - 5 stars as always. Just needed the clue on reading the hippo numbers for the happy coin

    ReplyDelete
  122. @Jef - draw 3 3x5 boxes - place all the squares from all 3 knob positions in one box, same for diamonds and circles

    ReplyDelete
  123. Excellent!!!

    Thanks Tesshi-e!!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. where is the coin? and why can't I knock the picture down???

    ReplyDelete
  125. where are the batteries for the remote, cant see clue on tv

    ReplyDelete
  126. where are the batteries for the remote, cant see clue on tv

    ReplyDelete
  127. I am happy for those of you who found this easy. I need a walk through. Help please.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Thank goodness for the video WT. I was stuck twice. Once with the sofa numbers and again with the open padlock which I didn't know what to do with.

Awesome game! One of the best developers out there.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hi all, I was away so I'm just catching up on some of my favourite games.

Fabulous game, as always, from Tesshie! Very logical. I got most of it on my own, but still needed help from here with the square-circle-triangle box, and a reminder to look at the negative space behind the hippos on the 2nd DVD viewing. Thanks for another fun game, Tesshie! (And where can I get one of those beach towels? :-D )
