ReplyDeleteAny idea on how to open the crate?
ReplyDeleteThat's a BIG dog!!
ReplyDeleterazorboy, use the SD and click on different screws in a series to open the crate. There are 10 clicks to open it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Peggy. I finally figured out the general idea, now just trial and error.
ReplyDeleteStuck...I have pliers, a note from Ann, and what I think must be glue. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with the tub and can't find a clue for the piano. And there is no package in front of the door at 761 Alley Road. Any hints?
ReplyDeleteI fed the "dog", now what?
ReplyDeleteektaylor78, ring the doorbell.
ReplyDeletewhere is the SD please?
ReplyDeleteektaylor78, there is a doorbell at the townhouse entrance.
ReplyDeleteCover me, I'm going in.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I didn't see the doorbell before. Still stuck. Can't find sd
ReplyDeleteThe vet's phone number is for the piano.
ReplyDeletehere we go...
ReplyDeletePeggy play the phone number on the piano. How do you feed the "dog"?
ReplyDeleteGet a key from the piano. Unlock CB in bedroom. Take ball to the "dog". Go to vase by door and get horse for pillar.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you @ektaylor78. Donde SD?
ReplyDeletewhere is the can for the small dog??
ReplyDeleteI went back to 761 Alley Road and received another crate. The sequence to open it is different than the first one but it is a little easier.
ReplyDeleteGet paint supplies, paint a plant on frame next to door. Feed the plant to the dog.
If memory serves, the SD might be leaning against the table leg.
ReplyDeleteThe SD is somewhere on the floor. In the table view, i mean...
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss that?! Thx
ReplyDeleteI have a ship in a bottle and some paper now. Kind of lost beyond that.
ReplyDeleteI can not feed the "dog"... and he does not want to play before.
ReplyDeleteI dont see any «crates» to use SD. :-(
ReplyDeleteNOT go to the adress and ring the bell.
ReplyDeleterazorboy, use the rage that was in the crate with the ship, on the tub. Fill the tub and put bottle in water. Go back to the bicycle.
ReplyDelete*rag.... not rage
ReplyDeleteand the dog must starve... HELP!
ReplyDeleteFinally got it. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteThank you Peggy.
ReplyDelete@kashi: I tried, but nothing happens!
ReplyDeletekashi, do you have the plant?
ReplyDeleteI think I have food for the dog from the crate but where is the dog???
ReplyDeleteNOT, are you pressing the button on the door frame?
ReplyDeleteWhere ist a plant?
ReplyDeleteNOT, the doorbell is on the right hand side of the door.
ReplyDeleteNOT, on the door ist a button to press.
ReplyDeletekashi, did you get the second crate from the other address?
ReplyDeleteOops! Not food, ballerina arm
ReplyDeleteOther address? I have the ball to play, the "dog" in the tube, but no other address.
ReplyDeleteYes! Now i have the other crate. Thanks!
ReplyDeletekashi, just go back to the townhouse. Ring bell, rinse, repeat.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm still stuck and need to head to bed. I hope you all have fun and leave some good hints. I'll come back and try this in the morning. Thank you :)
ReplyDeletelovely.
ReplyDeleteDay 3 here I come
ReplyDeletei need a rest... :-D
ReplyDeleteimportant - getting back to the clock. Always a new day.
ReplyDeleteThere is a horse not a dog!
thanks for the help
ReplyDeleteStuck on how to open 3rd package. Wirecutters don't work.
ReplyDeleteAnd finally got it. I hope my english was not too bad. Thanks for the help in my fist live game!
ReplyDeleteMike, you may be using the pliers.
ReplyDeleteThe cutter is out by the bicycle.
THe wirecutters work. Just make sure you cut all the wires.
ReplyDeleteOhh, thanks Peggy :)
ReplyDeleteThe linemen pliers = pliers and the bush trimmers = wire cutters. lol
ReplyDeleteAnd out. That was a weird one. :)
ReplyDeletecaught up with you guys thanks for all the hints im out now.....x
ReplyDeletethanks Peggy
I hate sadistically painful "not-a-puzzle" like those crates.

ReplyDeletegreat game, once I eventually found the SD. took a while to figure out what to do once the boat was floating in the bath, tried various ways to break the bottle to get it out LOL
ReplyDeletemy dogs a horse...lol
ReplyDeleteThat piano is driving me insane...
ReplyDeleteBut maybe I'm just overthinking...
7 means 7th key when looking from left to right like we write, yes?
So in musical notes, it would be
B C B A D F E F ... but nothing happens.
GOT THE KEY!
ReplyDeleteBut I had to restart the game: it's a bug.
In programming lingo, if you hit keys on a piano, this gets written in a buffer and then compared.
And this buffer is NOT cleared.
So if you did like I did first time and toyed around on the piano BEFORE reading Ann's note, you will no longer be able to get the key, since you've messed up the buffer.
I have fixed bike with pliers but it's not going anywhre when I click on it
ReplyDelete@ escape girl ..bike dont go anywhere you just found new door view after clicking on cycle ....
ReplyDelete...white arrow to the left...
ReplyDeleteQuite a different Esklavos this time. If someone is coming home with love and kisses why should you run away? :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat dog?
ReplyDeleteHa! - that's some dog!
ReplyDeleteThe Piano buffer is cleared after every eight notes. If you have played the piano before, keep playing until "Nothing Happens" is displayed. Now play the eight notes and it should work.
ReplyDelete@ting ting good job, you didnt make any mistake.now im out could not have done it without your WT thanks
ReplyDelete@jfgw1
ReplyDeleteNo it didn't. I even played 20 equal notes, backed out, and then retried the combination. It just did not do the trick. Restarting was the only "option".
see the left bottom corner when you play the piano. It shows how many notes you have played. The buffer is clear when no "dashes" appear in the corner .
ReplyDeleteLuin is correct. If you look at the lower bottom there are dashes each time you play a note. The dashes are hard to see, but once there are no dashes, start playing the 71762434 notes...
ReplyDeleteExcellent game!
ReplyDeleteTingTing - thanks for the WT! Very helpful and no mistakes!!
One of Rutenberg's best so far. Thanks!
ReplyDelete@arbeitslooser - I also found I had to restart the game to get the key from the piano. Thanks for the explanation.
ReplyDeletereally nice. different.
ReplyDeleteGreat game Esklavos! Different but good! :)
ReplyDeletePiano Issue:
ReplyDeleteThere are faint lines (dashes) off to the left a little bit indicating how many keys on the piano you have hit in the sequence. They are very faint though, and extremely easy to miss. There is not a bug, but those lines ought to be much brighter.
Very enjoyable and creative game, btw. I wish other talented game makers were willing to try new and different things like this. Kudos, Esklavos!
ReplyDeleteI did not enjoy the plot. I did not enjoy the crate puzzles. Why on earth is a horse called a dog? Why would the girl be in the home one day to wash the dog and coming out of Portugal the next? I usually enjoy games by this developer but he's gone all weird with this one :(
ReplyDeletePiano won't work for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm done.
Dont understand why ship in a bottle put in the bath creates stone boat behind door...Weird
ReplyDeleteGood fun game
Opening the crates was very frustrating - trial and error for 10 correct clicks not once but twice.
ReplyDeleteIt was only thanks to @ting ting's WT that I did't escape by using the big X button.
I think it was on the best Esklavos!
ReplyDeletefed horse but don't see any ball......
ReplyDeleteLuin & Zoe:
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, didn't note that sneaky spot with the dashes!
Come to think of it, this might even be a debug thing left in the game by accident...it normally should not be shown to the user ;)
@arbeitslooser - I also found I had to restart the game to get the key from the piano. Thanks for the explanation.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome...ERGO:
Rule of thumb: DO NOT TOUCH the piano until you know how to "operate it". On a darker screen setup, you might not see the 'dashes' at all, and with this strict method, you will be on the safe shore.
Crate puzzle was tedious. Story didn't make sense. Had to do the piano puzzle several times (accurately according to the phone number) before the key appeared. Still like esclavos games, but this one not up to the usual standard.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree this did not make sense, no logic and very few clues as to what to do next. Also too dark. Usually enjoy these. Hopefully next one will be better.
ReplyDeletefirst crate sucks wALKTHROUGH PLEASE:

It was annoying i had to press X to exit a close up.
I came to this game late, so I avoided the (excellent, ting ting!) walkthrough here, as well as the comments, *except* for the order of the screws on those crates. I simply don't have the patience to arbitrarily keep trying random corners until something works. A clue somewhere for those is all that would have been needed.
ReplyDeleteOther than that, I really liked this game-- it was delightfully surreal. When I ran out of logical ideas, I just explored around a little more and saw that some views had changed a bit- like the ship appearing to replace the bicycle, or the horse in the bathtub (loved that). Good game. :-)
horse/dog = lost in translation?
ReplyDeleteStuck with the horse in the bath and the ball. I keep going to the other house, but the door won't open and so I don't get a further crate.
ReplyDelete2025: Can't close out of the Piano Keys view. ☹️
