  2. razorboy, use the SD and click on different screws in a series to open the crate. There are 10 clicks to open it.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Thank you Peggy. I finally figured out the general idea, now just trial and error.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Stuck...I have pliers, a note from Ann, and what I think must be glue. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with the tub and can't find a clue for the piano. And there is no package in front of the door at 761 Alley Road. Any hints?

  7. ektaylor78, there is a doorbell at the townhouse entrance.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thank you. I didn't see the doorbell before. Still stuck. Can't find sd

    ReplyDelete
  9. The vet's phone number is for the piano.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Peggy play the phone number on the piano. How do you feed the "dog"?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Get a key from the piano. Unlock CB in bedroom. Take ball to the "dog". Go to vase by door and get horse for pillar.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm with you @ektaylor78. Donde SD?

    ReplyDelete
  13. where is the can for the small dog??

    ReplyDelete
  14. I went back to 761 Alley Road and received another crate. The sequence to open it is different than the first one but it is a little easier.

Get paint supplies, paint a plant on frame next to door. Feed the plant to the dog.

    ReplyDelete
  15. If memory serves, the SD might be leaning against the table leg.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The SD is somewhere on the floor. In the table view, i mean...

    ReplyDelete
  17. How did I miss that?! Thx

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have a ship in a bottle and some paper now. Kind of lost beyond that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I can not feed the "dog"... and he does not want to play before.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I dont see any «crates» to use SD. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  21. NOT go to the adress and ring the bell.

    ReplyDelete
  22. razorboy, use the rage that was in the crate with the ship, on the tub. Fill the tub and put bottle in water. Go back to the bicycle.

    ReplyDelete
  23. and the dog must starve... HELP!

    ReplyDelete
  24. @kashi: I tried, but nothing happens!

    ReplyDelete
  25. kashi, do you have the plant?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think I have food for the dog from the crate but where is the dog???

    ReplyDelete
  27. NOT, are you pressing the button on the door frame?

    ReplyDelete
  28. NOT, the doorbell is on the right hand side of the door.

    ReplyDelete
  29. NOT, on the door ist a button to press.

    ReplyDelete
  30. kashi, did you get the second crate from the other address?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oops! Not food, ballerina arm

    ReplyDelete
  32. Other address? I have the ball to play, the "dog" in the tube, but no other address.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes! Now i have the other crate. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  34. kashi, just go back to the townhouse. Ring bell, rinse, repeat.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, I'm still stuck and need to head to bed. I hope you all have fun and leave some good hints. I'll come back and try this in the morning. Thank you :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. important - getting back to the clock. Always a new day.
There is a horse not a dog!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Stuck on how to open 3rd package. Wirecutters don't work.

    ReplyDelete
  38. And finally got it. I hope my english was not too bad. Thanks for the help in my fist live game!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Mike, you may be using the pliers.
The cutter is out by the bicycle.

    ReplyDelete
  40. THe wirecutters work. Just make sure you cut all the wires.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The linemen pliers = pliers and the bush trimmers = wire cutters. lol

    ReplyDelete
  42. And out. That was a weird one. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. caught up with you guys thanks for all the hints im out now.....x
    thanks Peggy

    anf fix with pliers

    ReplyDelete
  46. disregard the anf fix with pliers at the bottom ???????? lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. great game, once I eventually found the SD. took a while to figure out what to do once the boat was floating in the bath, tried various ways to break the bottle to get it out LOL

    ReplyDelete
  48. That piano is driving me insane...

    But maybe I'm just overthinking...

7 means 7th key when looking from left to right like we write, yes?

So in musical notes, it would be

    B C B A D F E F ... but nothing happens.

    ReplyDelete
  49. GOT THE KEY!

But I had to restart the game: it's a bug.

In programming lingo, if you hit keys on a piano, this gets written in a buffer and then compared.
And this buffer is NOT cleared.

So if you did like I did first time and toyed around on the piano BEFORE reading Ann's note, you will no longer be able to get the key, since you've messed up the buffer.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I have fixed bike with pliers but it's not going anywhre when I click on it

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ escape girl ..bike dont go anywhere you just found new door view after clicking on cycle ....

    ReplyDelete
  52. ...white arrow to the left...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Quite a different Esklavos this time. If someone is coming home with love and kisses why should you run away? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ha! - that's some dog!

    ReplyDelete
  55. The Piano buffer is cleared after every eight notes. If you have played the piano before, keep playing until "Nothing Happens" is displayed. Now play the eight notes and it should work.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @ting ting good job, you didnt make any mistake.now im out could not have done it without your WT thanks

    ReplyDelete
  57. @jfgw1

No it didn't. I even played 20 equal notes, backed out, and then retried the combination. It just did not do the trick. Restarting was the only "option".

    ReplyDelete
  58. see the left bottom corner when you play the piano. It shows how many notes you have played. The buffer is clear when no "dashes" appear in the corner .

    ReplyDelete
  59. Luin is correct. If you look at the lower bottom there are dashes each time you play a note. The dashes are hard to see, but once there are no dashes, start playing the 71762434 notes...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Excellent game!

TingTing - thanks for the WT! Very helpful and no mistakes!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. One of Rutenberg's best so far. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  62. @arbeitslooser - I also found I had to restart the game to get the key from the piano. Thanks for the explanation.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Great game Esklavos! Different but good! :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Piano Issue:
There are faint lines (dashes) off to the left a little bit indicating how many keys on the piano you have hit in the sequence. They are very faint though, and extremely easy to miss. There is not a bug, but those lines ought to be much brighter.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Very enjoyable and creative game, btw. I wish other talented game makers were willing to try new and different things like this. Kudos, Esklavos!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I did not enjoy the plot. I did not enjoy the crate puzzles. Why on earth is a horse called a dog? Why would the girl be in the home one day to wash the dog and coming out of Portugal the next? I usually enjoy games by this developer but he's gone all weird with this one :(

    ReplyDelete
  67. Piano won't work for me.
    I'm done.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Dont understand why ship in a bottle put in the bath creates stone boat behind door...Weird
    Good fun game

    ReplyDelete
  69. Opening the crates was very frustrating - trial and error for 10 correct clicks not once but twice.
It was only thanks to @ting ting's WT that I did't escape by using the big X button.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think it was on the best Esklavos!

    ReplyDelete
  71. fed horse but don't see any ball......

    ReplyDelete
  72. Luin & Zoe:

Many thanks, didn't note that sneaky spot with the dashes!
Come to think of it, this might even be a debug thing left in the game by accident...it normally should not be shown to the user ;)

    ReplyDelete
  73. @arbeitslooser - I also found I had to restart the game to get the key from the piano. Thanks for the explanation.

    You're welcome...ERGO:
Rule of thumb: DO NOT TOUCH the piano until you know how to "operate it". On a darker screen setup, you might not see the 'dashes' at all, and with this strict method, you will be on the safe shore.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Crate puzzle was tedious. Story didn't make sense. Had to do the piano puzzle several times (accurately according to the phone number) before the key appeared. Still like esclavos games, but this one not up to the usual standard.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Have to agree this did not make sense, no logic and very few clues as to what to do next. Also too dark. Usually enjoy these. Hopefully next one will be better.

    ReplyDelete
  76. first crate sucks wALKTHROUGH PLEASE:

It was annoying i had to press X to exit a close up.

  77. I came to this game late, so I avoided the (excellent, ting ting!) walkthrough here, as well as the comments, *except* for the order of the screws on those crates. I simply don't have the patience to arbitrarily keep trying random corners until something works. A clue somewhere for those is all that would have been needed.

Other than that, I really liked this game-- it was delightfully surreal. When I ran out of logical ideas, I just explored around a little more and saw that some views had changed a bit- like the ship appearing to replace the bicycle, or the horse in the bathtub (loved that). Good game. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  78. horse/dog = lost in translation?

    ReplyDelete
  79. Stuck with the horse in the bath and the ball. I keep going to the other house, but the door won't open and so I don't get a further crate.

    ReplyDelete
  80. 2025: Can't close out of the Piano Keys view. ☹️
