ReplyDeleteI got a piece of paper (used), a pistol w/o ammo, pliers and as extra items : a bullet and a piece of copper wire.
Make sure you UN-highlight items then pick the next item to use
ReplyDeleteUse gun on a bottle. Bullet(extra item) will go with gun when you shoot the bottle.
Bullet was behind a cabinet I think
Combine the 3 numbers with X for a code
There is a little red haze around the item previously selected. You have to UN-highlight it then pick next item.

ReplyDeletegot a screwdriver from shooting a bottle. Opened the wall socket to repair the wires with the copper wire. Plugged in laptop.
ReplyDeleteJust click the wall socket cover again, and it closes. Then you can plug in the laptop.

I used the numbers on the piece of paper as the server code (laptop). Now sitting with colours, pliers(used), paper(used), gun(used) and sd(used). Off to see what I can do with the colours.
ReplyDelete@Parky: Bit stuck with that - how do I use the colours from the laptop? The cubes in front of the laptop aren't clickable.

ReplyDeleteIt's a bit hit and miss when trying to pick things up and it took me a few tries to get the key in the door but it was quite good.
ReplyDeletemarvelous bit of overthinking going on in my head today. Tried multiplying numbers instead of reading that the x=4 by the door simply meaning that! Also spent ages trying to put the bullet INTO the gun instead of just shooting it as it was
ReplyDeleteFiddly picking things up and it took about 4 tries to get the squares box to accept the code. Other than that, a nice, logical game
i cant find the bullet.

ReplyDeleteThe crucial problem in this game is the SELECTION of items. You cannot change to another item you'd use without DESELECTING the other.
ReplyDeleteIf you still don't get it, there's a red shimmering glow on the item that's currently active.
(Which might also explain why it took me 5 minutes to use the screwdriver ;))
