  2. Hello guys .. well this is not exactly an escape game , it does include some easy puzzles but some are riddle style puzzles that may require using Google and some search ( and besides i'm new to all this , just testing some ideas ) so please DO NOT get frustrated ! :-) just quit when it's necessary .. Thank you !

    ReplyDelete
  3. oh Peggy just gone ! i expected this though ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  4. No progress yet, E-Addict.

I was a little tentative to say that it was difficult for me. So I'm glad you said it was not any easier than the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Sorry I responded so slow. I've said I'm OCD, so it takes me a while to find the proper words I want to use.

    ReplyDelete
  6. well but some puzzles are the usual difficulty .. just ignore the T shaped one !

    ReplyDelete
  7. Woo hoo! I actually got one without Nini's help.
    (The LOOKATME safe.)

I have a feeling that was the easiest of them all.
It will be all downhill from here....

    ReplyDelete
  8. lol Peggy .. but you are right ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  9. E, the "needs a break" safe is referring to tennis?
The only 5-letter words I can come up with are point & serve.

    Got any more clues?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Close to what?
Does it have to do with tennis and I haven't found the correct word?
    or
It doesn't have anything to do with tennis, but is close to it?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I just realized I'm missing a live SSSG game!
    See ya later.

    ReplyDelete
  12. it does have to do with tennis !

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hi Peggy and E! :) I don't have time to play right now, but just came here to wish all good luck! :) Especially to u Peggy, I see u're thinking really hard ;)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hey SN .. see you later then ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Finished with SSSG game. Back to brain work.

Nini, thanks for the encouragement. I need all the help I can get.

And thanks for the tennis affirmation, E.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dangit! I tried that word a while ago. I just spelled it wrong.
    Break time over.
    On to the next.

    ReplyDelete
  17. E-Addict, are you still around?

For the "think fast" safe. Should we think quickly, or think about speed, or something else entirely?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Which is teh lookat me safe
    Tennis solution is
    Deuce

    ReplyDelete
  19. have card and stuck
Cannot solve any of the other safes yet

    ReplyDelete
  20. I see no one is getting nowhere .. i think it's time for me to quit ! :-) not funny to me no more .. just forget it ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  21. safe to the left of the door .. think sun earth and moon!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey Eaddict, thanks for the game

    ReplyDelete
  23. E Presto dear :-) .. missed you ! it's just that i am sick of all this for now ! out btw ? just ignore the T shaped one .. if Jon could get nowhere then ..

    ReplyDelete
  24. opened look at me, moon, apple and tennis

    ReplyDelete
  25. I was looking for you in cbox

    ReplyDelete
  26. so which puzzle you are struggling with now ? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yay E Addict! you are here! I've been away for so long, was so happy to find your game!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'll look at call 1st now

    ReplyDelete
  29. ok do you want a direct hint ? let me try this first .. the six black dots around the one in the middle are holes ! lol it was somehow a direct hint !

    ReplyDelete
  30. lol, let me work on that!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think I found the game (good hint), now have to find the word!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I am now going to try to think fast!

    ReplyDelete
  33. although I sort of already thought fast earlier when solving the apple one ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  34. I thought it was going to be oxygen related at first

    ReplyDelete
  35. ok a less direct hint .. you see O2 right ? O2 is a .. think the other way !

    ReplyDelete
  36. hmmm, not sure what to make of that hint lol! O2 is a molecule
if I put it the other way ie 2O, i get atoms...

    ReplyDelete
  37. yes E you thought fast .. that was impressive solving the apple one ! :-) and O2 is a formula .. lol this is what i call a direct hint !

    ReplyDelete
  38. i liked it being solved ! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  39. no, a bit confused actually!

    ReplyDelete
  40. If it's a formula, not sure how to think the other way

    ReplyDelete
  41. ok E .. well before i say anything else just have a second look at my 5 : 28 PM post .. and think fast ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  42. what time zone are you in E addict?

    ReplyDelete
  43. how silly of me Eaddict! thanks

    ReplyDelete
  44. well I'm going to die trying now

    ReplyDelete
  45. btw, what a good extra hint the O is! in the thinkk fast one!

    ReplyDelete
  46. well my job requires living in different time zones :-) although it's holiday tonight .. now focus on the die trying safe .. hint needed ?

    ReplyDelete
  47. It will be the last one for me, because it's late, so the others will have to wait till tomorrow, but it gives me something to look forward to!

    ReplyDelete
  48. has it anything to do with book?

    ReplyDelete
  49. ok then it's about music !

    ReplyDelete
  50. so you now already solved seven puzzles right ?

    ReplyDelete
  51. ok just in case .. for the T shaped puzzle i asked Jon to test it for me yesterday and he said the coordinates ( 39.0000 32.0000 ) - well they are coordinates :-) - arent getting him to the spot .. well these coordinates were supposed to take you to Turkey ( Anatolia previously ) .. so see if you can get somewhere from there to solve it ! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I have to go to bed now :-( very late

    ReplyDelete
  53. Thank you for the tip E Addict, I look forward to getting back here tomorrow :-) Goodnight see you soon

    ReplyDelete
  54. ok E .. Good Night for now ! :-) ..

    ReplyDelete
  55. E-Addict, are you still around?

    ReplyDelete
  56. On my own again.... :-(

Nini, the sun, earth & moon is what I WAS thinking about, but just couldn't come up with the correct word. Last night I thought it had to do with the rotations and phases.

Alas, 'twas the state of being of an orb.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Finally got the "think fast/O2" safe.

Thanks for the "direct hint", E-Addict.
And I was correct in thinking of speed instead of quick thought processing.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't get the "apple 1 boom" clue.
    Nor the "die trying" clue.

For "call 1st", E Presto mentioned a game.
The dots look like a playing card or a domino. The only words I can come up with for those games don't work.
The clue was six holes around one dot? And that's a direct hint?
I'm confused. Well, I'm ALWAYS confused, but more so with these puzzles.

    ReplyDelete
  59. P app apple or the look at me
    For the molecule tRied molecule
    Satellite
    Planet
    Orbital etc nothingworks
    I am with you
I like E addict games but I am lost
    Cannot solve the clues
    HELP

    ReplyDelete
  60. Joe M, sorry, I left for a while.

The safe to the left of the door, Nini said to think sun, earth, moon. We call the smallest orb this when it is at its brightest each month.

For "think fast", E-Addict gave us the first answer.. f*****a.
For the second part of that safe, think of racing.

For "look at me", picture the safe as a cartoon character, with round ears.

That's as far as I've gotten. Hoping Nini and E Presto will have answers for me tomorrow. Sadly, we seem to be on different sleep/wake schedules.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanx Peggy
    I am so stupid
Was trying only one word answers
    Never thought of 2 words

    ReplyDelete
  62. Hi guys, I'm back, and you've probably left! For the apple safe it's a play on words, and the answer is speed related too

    ReplyDelete
  63. E addict is just brilliant and you guys are just as smartt
    lateral thinking
    I stand in awe!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Joe M, you are still here! let's solve the rest together!

    ReplyDelete
  65. E presto
    Thanx
Got it now that I am thinking 2 words but what does the it have to do with apple?

    ReplyDelete
  66. the make! if a computer is an apple, then it's a ...

    ReplyDelete
  67. yes, it is! did you get the die trying one?

    ReplyDelete
  68. NO
    I am way behind
    Struggling

    ReplyDelete
  69. E Addict gave clue : music
and my hint is google will help

    ReplyDelete
  70. have been trying the six black dots and the 9 blue dots
    Tried solitair e
    no go

    ReplyDelete
  71. I thought of solitaire too!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I googled
    5 0clock music die trying
    No help

    ReplyDelete
  73. when you see the google results, you will understand the clocks

    ReplyDelete
  74. There is a song
    5 oclock in the morning
Camnnot get a 4 letter word out of it

    ReplyDelete
  75. add "get rich" to your search

    ReplyDelete
  76. The clocks make sense now

    ReplyDelete
  77. You are so smart E presto
A formidable counter to E addict!

    ReplyDelete
  78. lol, I did need E Addict's help for most of them!

    ReplyDelete
  79. 39/32 is somewhere on the jordan Saudi Arabian border
Cannot relate to Turkey per E addict hint

    ReplyDelete
  80. I googled Anatolia
    long 39/lat 32

    ReplyDelete
  81. The T shape seems important, I've been trying to google anatolia T

    ReplyDelete
  82. Also the 4X0
Did you get the game puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  83. yes, for the game puzzle, the stick on the the safe is a cLue! oops that L looks out of place!

    ReplyDelete
  84. I googled the lat and long
    There is nothing there

    ReplyDelete
  85. I have nothing on the rest
I cant even get the hole one with the game
    Call first
    6 Holes
    Stick?

    ReplyDelete
  86. yes for the 6 holes do you see the stick on top of the safe?

    ReplyDelete
  87. YES
    I tried
    Pool and billiard
    , Snooker
    Cannot find 5 letter word

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yay Joe! what do you make of asian bars?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Tried Peg games for the oter black dots and blue dots
    Nothing

    ReplyDelete
  90. I got nothing on that
No 3 letter materials from ASIA
    tried simple stuff like 2

    Tried mushroom on the 39/32
    No luck

    ReplyDelete
  91. Have to go to work for a while
    Will come back later
    This is hard

    ReplyDelete
  92. See you later Joe, if I get anything I will try to leave hints!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I am wondering if the bars are chocolate bars

    ReplyDelete
  94. I am now thinking that the light behind the bars must somehow be important.

    ReplyDelete
  95. No rpogress, I have to go, I'll be back later

    ReplyDelete
  96. I don't get how you do any of these puzzles.

    One star

    ReplyDelete
  97. Iconland
    They are very hard
E addict has a wonderful sideways thought process that is incredibly challenging
He stumps me every time but I love his puzzles

    ReplyDelete
  98. E addict
    Great game so far
We need hint please for last 2 safes?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hello everyone .. lol @Joe too much compliment i'm not sure i deserve all this but thank you anyway !

so E no progress with any of the three left safes ?

ok for the made in Asia the bars are not chocolate bars lol and the light is important .. combined with bars .. but needs some adjustment !

    for the T puzzle yes Anatolia ( T ) is the key .. it's a legendary city !

    see you !

    ReplyDelete
  100. The clues for the apple safe is not registering with my brain.

    speed related
    play on words
if a computer is an apple, it is a...

    macintosh, tablet, desktop, personal, notepad
    (none of which work)

Please, can anyone steer my thinking in the right direction?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Peggy, 1st was it, but shorter, and don't forget the number. It is a play on words, a rebus

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks E Presto. I'm having trouble with "boom", though.
I can't come up with anything that 'boom' might represent.

Am I correct in thinking that 'apple' and '1' make up the first four letters of the word?

    ReplyDelete
  103. hey Peggy .. let's just get this done ! :-) at what speed planes make a boom sound ?

    ReplyDelete
  104. E-Addict. Thank you for taking pity on me.

As a rebus, I was thinking 'boom' was part of the word, not a clue to the phrase.

    ReplyDelete
  105. OK. Now for the asian bars. Earlier, you said,
"the light is important .. combined with bars .. but needs some adjustment".
    Can you elaborate?

    ReplyDelete
  106. was away for a while .. i see E Presto havent made any progress or maybe just gave up ! :-) Peggy yes the light with the bars on it represent a symbol !

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hey peggy
Been away a while @ work
    Mach one touch..Macintosh

Table with six pockets and stick
See my note timed 6 49
    Pool etc
    Related to number
    Clocks
    Google
    Die trying music
    As E presto said
the significance of theclocks will come clear
Now I am struggling with Anatolia and the symbol

    ReplyDelete
  108. have tried troy, tripolis etc.
    none work

    ReplyDelete
  109. No one her
    will return tomorrow.
Yes E addict you do deserve the compliments...I love the way your mind works laterally to challenge us

    ReplyDelete
  110. Well then, I was unable to glean much from your 'elaboration', E-Addict.

How about the 9 black dots and 9 blue dots.
The black dots look like a layout of bowling pins with the lead pin missing. It could be a W, or VW logo, or something squared or cubed.
Are we looking for another game? A logo? A math equation?

    ReplyDelete
  111. yes Peggy it's a W ! tell me when you want it spoiled .. but not now though see you later !

    ReplyDelete
  112. I find the hints are not helpful, for example I thought the hint boom had something to do with a bomb, so I tried "explode" - which doesn't work.

The hints need to be more specific, I would very much like to see a tutorial of how he comes up with these puzzles because I don't get his thought processes.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Well I'm back! I'd never give up E Addict! Was planning to come back yesterday, but had massive power cut, so here I am today, ready to tackle the bars!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Okay, so after EAdiict's comments was sure the bars were heaven, but thta must be wrong!

    ReplyDelete
  115. and it's not sky either...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Hi - I still don't have the billiard solution, nor the w / 3x3 grid solution, nor the Anatolia solution.
But I can help with the Asian one:
made in Asia, paid in Asia ...

    ReplyDelete
  117. wahinee, thank you so much!

    ReplyDelete
  118. For billiard : the answer is a number. maybe googling ball pool with the hint would help

    ReplyDelete
  119. E Presto - I'm glad I could help :) Thank you for the hint for the game - never heard of it.
Having read about each and every legendary site and city in Turkey meanwhile, I don't have much hope to solve that one .. I had hoped it was göbekli tepe - my favorite one - but it isn't, inspite of the T shaped figures.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I have had no luck yet either wahinee. I thought the W might be the W form wiki, but that has led me nowhere

    ReplyDelete
  121. Wahinee 1
    Thanx for the Asian solution
    Iconland
    see my hints @ 7:13
They are the closest I can get withhout giving it away
Tomorrow I will post all the solutions that I have
Still struggling with the T in Anatolia
Googled every variation of Troy that I could and Cities with T
    cannot find
    @ work now
    Will check in later

    ReplyDelete
  122. Sorry7 I was no help E presto
    Still struggling

    ReplyDelete
  123. And I checked all words with "whole(s)", "hole(s)", "wand" - but no good

    ReplyDelete
  124. wahinee! you are still here! I can't tell what the blue square is next to the W

    ReplyDelete
  125. E Presto, I am here all the time but I work. So I check now and then if there is something new. I like puzzles like that which need thinking and are not done in 5 minutes by random clicking. I won't give up :)
A big thank you to E-Addict for the effort to create such a puzzle!

    ReplyDelete
  126. so you like riddles? That's good! I wondered if blue square was google or facebook

    ReplyDelete
  127. W 111 is a mercedes but that didn't work

    ReplyDelete
  128. Have solved the w puzzle
    Think www
    Where are we

    ReplyDelete
  129. By the way
We are still going to need to deal with all these numbers
    I am @ work
    so will check in intermittently

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yay
Only the Anatolia T puzzle left

    ReplyDelete
  131. Thanks a lot, Joe! I would NEVER have found that. And I still don't see it even with your solution. I guess the 3x3 grid is supposed to be a ***? A small one maybe :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. Welcome Wahinee
    Its W 111
The 3 by 3 grid is the roman no 3
I would never have got it until E presto did w111
    beauty of working together

    ReplyDelete
  133. This Anatolia T thing is tough
I have been working on it since yesterday
I know more about cities in Turkey than i will ever need

    ReplyDelete
  134. Iconland
The trick with these is like cryptic crosswords
You start doing them and check the answers
After a period of time you start to learn the lateral thought process and you start to figure it out.
Dont get frustrated...its a learning process like anything and soon you will be doing them with hints and enjoying them
    stay with us.
These are good and challenging games

    ReplyDelete
  135. Joe, it took me even a while to understand your explanation :) Now it's obvious. Thank you!
And yes, I like the way of brainstorming here.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanx E presto
Its rare that I get one before you
needed the W111 clue from you

    ReplyDelete
  137. To Joe M, I don't do cryptic crosswords. I prefer plain crosswords...

    ReplyDelete
  138. Thats ok
    Keep trying witlh us
As I said I will post all the solutions I have tomorrow
Also note that I was completely stumped yesterday am
Was only able to do them with hints from E presto and all
    Dont get demoralised
    Iconland

    ReplyDelete
  139. I have to leave for a while. I checked all archaeological sites and the World Heritage Sites in Turkey. Nothing.
The T may stand for a cross, lots of Apostles were born in that area, lots of ancient churches are there.
The T may also be a geographical hint, like a river from the right, one from the left and one down. Or valleys, or mountains.
The T may also mean that we have to find the place of the coordinates and from there search downwards (south) the "legendary city". I went as far down as Cyprus. Nothing.
On Cyprus I found a city called Episkopi which made me think of a periscope, but that also didn't get me anywhere.
Good luck - and hopefully there is a better hint when I come back :)

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hello again .. so you are almost out .. it is all about many players sharing and that's it .. the puzzles i make aren't impossible to solve after all .. but surprisingly some players always insisted on playing in the background although i dont usually bite .. have i ever bitten you Peggy ? :-) .. so attitudes maybe ? i dunno but i make the games not to prove anything or to test anyone's intelligence anyway i do it just for fun so be easy .. no need to hide !

as for the T shaped puzzle i was just testing the idea so it needed more clues maybe i dunno but Joe you were close ! :-) it is Troy .. the movie !

    i love my games actually ! ;-)

    see you !

    ReplyDelete
  141. E addict
    We love your games too!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Thanx E addict
Uggh.... Who would have thought of him
I figured out Troy but never thought of that
    What a great riddle game
    To others
Google TROY the movie and try 8 letter combos
    Not one word

    ReplyDelete
  143. now all we have to do...HAH
is to figure out all those numbers
    I am @ work
Have to focus on work for now
If anybody gets it please post hint
    See u all later

    ReplyDelete
  144. Thank you for the solution. I'm sure we'll get an explanation of the logic behind the hint (except the T), so that even I may understand it.
Joe, you don't need a hint for the rest. I used two columns in an excel sheet and was out in 30 sec (don't forget your ID card).
Thank you Joe and E Presto for your help !

    ReplyDelete
  145. Great teamwork once again everybody! Sad to have kept missing peggy :(
THANK YOU E Addict for your great challenging games!
PS Joe I LOVE cryptic crosswords!

    ReplyDelete
  146. WHOO!!!!
it was fun playing with all of you
    Thanx E addict
The real problem one was the T Anatolia
I figured out answer by number of letters
No idea why it should have been
    Need better clue
    All the others were fair
I will post spoiler and my reasoning tomorrow for Iconland as I promised....

    ReplyDelete
  147. I wish you guys lived closer to my time zone (or vice versa). While you are playing and figuring things out, I'm asleep and then work. By the time I get to check back, you've all gone to bed!

E-Addict, I've never known you to bite, but you have left me alone. :-)

I got the asian bars safe, thanks to wahinee1's clue.
However, I didn't understand the WIII or www hints.
    "Think www
    Where are we"

    We're in Escape24, a room, dr fou's, a chat room...
As you can see, my thinking is not following the same path as yours.

Can anyone help a little more, please?

    ReplyDelete
  148. I am also striking out on the Troy hints. I've Googled Troy the movie and have read many descriptions and reviews but can't seem to find the right combination of words for the answer.
    Got any more suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  149. Hello Peggy :)
I'm sorry that our time zones are so different, it would have been more fun with you :)

Everything you say where we are is correct - and thanks to Tim Berners-Lee we all meet here and play challenging games.

I cannot help you with the (initial) Troy hints, since they were more distracting than helpful. And I haven't seen the movie Troy. I prefer movies like "Legends of the Fall", "A River Runs Through It", "Seven Years in Tibet". So, sorry about that.

Good luck and let us know when you are out :)

    ReplyDelete
  150. Hey wahinee .. as i said for the T puzzle it was a riddle test so .. you are right the clues were insufficient .. Joe found Troy though but couldnt link it to the movie which is a great movie btw i recommend you watch it !

Peggy for the www .. we are playing - online games .. and for Troy it's about Achilles ( the main character ) !

    Thank you all !

    ReplyDelete
  151. Peggy
    Sorry I missed u
You have helped me so much over the weeks especially with the first 3 clues.
    Troy clue made little sense
Once I had the movie then I guessed what it was
The www hint refers to the medium in which we are.
    Namely the I******T

As we said there was no hint for TROY even once i related it to the movie I had a post asking E addict then I had a moment an looked @ the ad on google and saw him PITTED against his adversaries and clicked.
I will post a series of solutions with spoilers as I promised iconland

    ReplyDelete
  152. Spoiler alert
All errors are mine and mine alone
Credits go to Peggy for getting me through the first three
E Presto for getting us through a couple more
    Wahinee for his help
A lot of these would have been impossible without advice from E addict
Start in the opening sequence and move to the right
    1) FULLMOON
The image is of the sun with the earth rotating and the moon rotating around the earth
Stops on the quarter hour as per moon
    2) BRADPITT
Anatolia was Asia Minor. The legendary city ( clue from E addict) had to be TROY as this is the most famous city there except constantinople etc. These had too many letters. The
    clue was tough
I could not find any 8 letter words
When E Addict told me the movie i had an OH s**t moment and clicked
    3) FORMULA ONE
The O2 was a formula with the one right there
The clue above was think fast...ie formula one racing.
    4) DEUCE
The numbers went up as per Tennis scores
    40/40 is deuce
( the only one I actually found easy)
    5)EIGHT
Clue from e addict... holes around. Tried everything, snooker , billiards. Clue was the stick on the safe
call first tells you to call the pocket...thus eight ball.
    6)CENT
Die trying is a song by 50cent...the two clocks above..
5 on the first 0 on the second thus 50

    7) MACHONE
    This is my favourite...
APPLE Computer..mac with the one following
    MAC 1
Boom refers to sonic boom@ MACH ONE
    8)INTERNET
W with the 9 blue dots meaning roman numerals 3
E presto gave this to me ..W111 is what he wrote
    This translates to www
    Thereby the internet
    9)MICKEY

    Big eared character..Mickey mouse
Peggy gave me this ,,I did not see it until her clue
    10) YENUpside down Y
This is the symbol for yen..Thats why the bars matter
I struggled with that for days till Wahinee solved it. Made in Asia, as in making a slary or money,

    Write down all the numbers
    Add them up and out.

As you can see a difficult game like this is a collaborative effort on the part of lots of us who help each other. There is also a level of 'what fits' into the spaces.
Also because I/we have done e addict killers before we knew that the black holes were his way of saying w.

So Iconland you can see how the thought process develops and why I find E addicts lateral thought process so enjoyable to play. A
lot more fun, challenging and inclusive of others than a clickfest.
Sorry guys I will get off my soapbox now.

  153. Oh my gosh! I have tried every character's name from the Troy movie, only to have it finally click that it wasn't a character. I was so steeped in the idea of 'legendary city' and ancient Troy, contemporary names were never part of my thinking. I guess banging my head against my desk so many times finally got the wires connected for the light bulb to come on.

Joe M, thank you for literally spelling out the answer for the W III safe. And for the clever Troy hint.

After 3 days and 3 hours, I can triumphantly declare,
    I AM OUT!!!!
(As the crowd goes wild) \o/ \o/ \o/

Thank you E-Addict for the fun game and for keeping my brain working for so long. Please make more games.
I may be slow, but I'm not a quitter.

  155. Peggy
Sorry we missed you thru the game
I had no doubt that u would be out before the WT. I figured even if u were not then u would not look @ it.
Difficult WT because the solutions are not always obvious but I had fun doing it.

    See you at next game.
    Joe
