Quest of Dororo is a new online riddle game with a simple gameplay: read all the hints and provide the correct answer. The riddles are at random difficulty - this means that you will not go from easy to hard: you may find first 10 riddles easy, next 5 extremely harder, then next 5 medium difficulty etc. Solutions of the riddles are not similar - means that you will have to dig through different domains to find the right answer. ReplyDeleteEg Level 8 is a quote from the movie "They call me Trinity". I have the movie. I cannot find it as a quote anywhere else or in any other movie on Google.
But the "owl" will not accept my answer or any variation (those movies came out with various titles).
And I'm obviously so far behind the "live game" that it becomes impossible to keep asking for help every time you all got the answer easily without giving any extra hints or clues.
So, sadly, I have to give up on another interesting puzzle.

ReplyDeleteAshley, take the numbers in order, notice blue and black colours for two separate sets. The coordinates are exact, they'll take you to a place where there'll seem to be nothing at first glance but activate photographs and something will pop up. It's not SE! Look again at where the hand is pointing in the image of the level.

ReplyDeleteAside from that, I cannot find any photos around those co-ordinates - whether I swap south with west, or whatever.
And with that many digits I'm not sure I have the correct co-ordinates anyway.
AND: I tried both Google Earth and Google Maps; both appear to give me wrong co-ordinates on the map!
SO still stuck on L12.
I just used google maps, one gives you a location in the middle of the ocean which is not, the other one gives you a place in north Chile, by the Ruta Panamericana. Did you zoom in enough and activate photographs?

ReplyDeleteSide issue: Google Maps and Google Earth place me some distance apart (by the same co-ordinates ... ... which I am approximating to 4 digits anyway as 8 digits seems to confuse the search engine).
Well, I found the Presencias Tutelares, and The Hand Of The Desert. Neither name (either in Spanish or English) is the correct answer.

Ok, there's another way around if you don't find pictures. If you switch to satellite mode instead of map mode, and because it is so big, you get to see it in the terrain by just zooming in to the maximum zoom level. Just to make sure one of your coord. is -70.249941? And Presencias Tutelares I believe are to the south of this big thing (at least where I found them).

Ashely. if you look to the right of the photo you see 2 shelf one is red other one is black -> this gives you the order of the coordonates (x and Y). now look on other books and put them in order 1,2,3... and there you have your X and Y. the last hint in the photo is a "paint" with a mouse pointer over it.. actually a plus over it which should make you think at zooming on a map. just use google maps, for search add the coordonates like this X,Y and then zoom. also notice that one coordonate has a minus .. that minus is important other way will get to to diff locations

nini a cat can see in the dark. the reason why and how the cat is able to do that is related color encoding. and Morgana to answer to your question: i wondered my self same thing in the begining when i had no idea what riddle to make, then i got a "forumula": i don't think what to ask and then to find an answer; i start with the answer, i randomly chose a word or more which i want to be an answer than i think how to relate it with hints :P i also learned (reading) alot of things but doing this riddle game :))

I don't remember much about level 22 but what we needed was a name and last name.
ReplyDeleteOk, I remember now. You see an image of something. You also have that your zip file is called replace.zip, but "replace" is not the name of the actual file, it's a hint of what to do with that something in the image. The author of the image is of no interest.
