someone help meeee. I have the hammer and scissors and I'm trying to find the cushion or package for the scissors, but they don't work on the chair or sofa cushions. gah.
ReplyDeleteYes you guys are skyrocketing through this game again...
ReplyDeleteI've smashed the container and now I have this thing which may be a battery or a fuse with one orange end on either side.
However, the description where to place it didn't help me at all...
Ok there is a green stove (?) with a cyan-colored box on it. However, that box will only open and close, there is nothing to 'put' into it...
@arbeitsloser you may have to click one of the black and white boards to "refine" the graphics. I've done it twice so far and then was I able to see the back of that blue block, open it, and put in the battery. Did you "open" the battery by hitting it with the hammer?
ReplyDeleteHi work loser this game will fry ya brain...
ReplyDeleteguess so Leroy...
ReplyDeleteGOT it, thanks for *trying* to help arsenic. I will now give a full explanation instead of the godawful one on page 1 no one can do anything with...
It IS the box I talked about, BUT it's inaccessible at first! That battery will take TWO shapes:
- (1) two orange ends (first) - useless so far
- (2) one flat end and one bulky end - the 'actual' battery
To get from shape (1) to shape (2), the following steps are necessary:
- Find the LADDER behind a door
- Put ladder and hit button; this will transform the battery into a useable shape
NOTE the second battery already in will not show up unless said button is pressed.
There!
let me know if you figure out what to do with the scissors. gah.
ReplyDeleteyes, got these...
ReplyDeleteAnd also need to figure out how to enter that shape combination (can't be arsed to call these "letters"
We probably can put those in when we hit another black & white square panel... the letters will clear up more.
ReplyDeleteI think I just randomly clicked all over...now I am stuck with a battery, ladder and a hammer.... The comments so far have made no sense to me because they found something I have not and don't see what you see.... Very interesting game...but, can anyone give a clue anything else to do with hammer? I have clicked and tried the items I have everywhere!
ReplyDeleteFinally! I got the ladder to go to that black place left of fireplace...I had been zooming it first...put ladder without zooming! LOL
ReplyDeletedid you already use the hammer on the battery?
ReplyDeleteThe comments so far have made no sense to me because they found something I have not and don't see what you see
ReplyDeleteTotally my feelings, nokra. And no, don't think you're too dense to get them or so...they were really cryptic as hell...
(maybe it fit better to the game? ;))
hammer:
sure. :))
Think of a 'passage' you can't use because it's blocked for you. Then you use the hammer, remove the thing that blocks the passage, and you can pass.
If this was too confusing for you, I'll spoil the location right away...
ah I see you got it meanwhile...
ReplyDeleteCool!!! Now the battery goes in the clock! :) Got 3 digits!
ReplyDelete@arbeitslooser, you said you were trying to put the letters into the green cabinet? did you find a color clue, too?
ReplyDeleteI'll take a spoiler for the use of hammer, @arbeitslooser! I can't find anything to do anymore! LOL
ReplyDeleteOMG I think that the red robot's code is used in the green robot. trying it... yup, press the green robot's buttons: R T T L T R L T (r-right t-top l-left). Finally got that legendary package
ReplyDeleteYes, and finally the scissors make sense!
ReplyDeleteOK...got scissors....from wall clock!
ReplyDeleteHAHA the onion's 'mouth' turned into a zipper! This is about to feel like Alice in Wonderland...
ReplyDeletePut bird on mantle, open box....refining....LOL
ReplyDeleteYay! ok, now tell me how to make the screwdriver work...
ReplyDeleteMy question too...where to use the sd??? LOL
ReplyDeleteOk. I think I've refined it a 4th time. Look at the pixel picture upside down and use that on the ipad.
ReplyDeleteI saw that...but what , or where is ipad please?
ReplyDeleteOK got it! TY assenicsauce!
ReplyDeleteIs that an ice cream sandwich? LOL
ReplyDeleteSD!!! used on the cat's eye! :)
ReplyDeleteomg thanks Lottie all I wanted was a WT ♥
ReplyDeleteI need a star!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, @lottie!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super game!
Loved it!
And thanks arsenicsauce !
yay, that was great!
ReplyDeleteNOTE for players coming after me:
Final pixel code is PROTECTED!
It will not work by just copying Lottie's pattern off her video walkthrough...you have to see ALL clues yourself first. Heh.
hehe
ReplyDeletethe last code on door is really 'creative'(+ve&-ve:) )
just copy the pattern is not workable :)
Im almost out with the extra game...struggling the puzzle~!
video wt for EXTRA:
ReplyDeletehttp://youtu.be/S1b323DK6jo
This part is also SUPER FUN!!!
Yes, the extra game was a total WASTE! I mean, if an 'extra' game by itself is so excellent, Kotorinosu could as well have taken a 3-week time out and release it as a separate game! Well, that's what you'd have gotten from me :P
ReplyDeleteMade it out without help in the extra game. And it was pretty tough! Some of the puzzle pieces are damn well hidden away...although Koto' always proves to be a nice person by indicating sneaky locations occasionally by a small arrow ;-)
A original and fantastic game.
ReplyDelete...which just got a pretty unfair rating. :-(
ReplyDeleteThe extra mode seems tough...
ReplyDeleteSome useful clues for the extra mode:
ReplyDelete1) Read the dark portions for the clock clue.
2) For the last puzzle, start with the cross shape.

where is the sd for the second part? i have the other one but need the sd to continue
ReplyDeletefound it, had to press in right order the red toy, but now how do i proceed ?
ReplyDeleteremoved the battery from the yellow toy and have clock hint now
ReplyDeletefeel awesome after that :))) managed to escape from both games almost without help, not 'cause nobody cared but 'cause of difference of our playing times. Took me many hours to get out, have a small kid to take care meanwhile, but enjoyed this 100% ! ten stars from me !!!
ReplyDeleteI am requesting that whatever you folks have put in your eggnog that allows you to see anything other than pixels be immediately shipped to my house.
ReplyDeleteThx
Just been going through this again to see if I can figure out this clock puzzle lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe it has something to do with the pixel pic??
Bill chinery - There are squares throughout the game that look like black and white x's. Each time you click on one it increases the resolution to the game till you can actually see tables and chairs and drawers and doors. I thought it was a fun game where you start out without any idea what's going on. I quit it at first but came back after reading the comments on how good it was.
ReplyDeleteafter a few hours and a lot of help from the others,im out :D thx ,super inginious game :P
ReplyDeleteThank you @NH for the solution to the clock!
ReplyDelete"Read the dark portions for the clock clue."
So, for example, the Green 3 becomes a 1 when you fill in the dark spaces and subtract the green ones. The second part of the Green becomes a 5 when filling in only the dark spaces. So, Green = 15, which is a 3 on the clock.
Likewise, Red becomes 35 (7 on the clock) and Blue becomes 04 (4 on the clock)
It seems so obvious, thanks to NH!

ReplyDeleteOnly thing I couldn't get was visualizing the clock in the extra game. Was there a hint or did you just have to "see" it?
ReplyDeletePlease, what do I have to put in the letters panel above "bixel"?
ReplyDeletefor clock in extra game visualize a digital 8 and remove the bright parts to get the 6 numbers. Cool.
ReplyDeleteJullys - if you flip and mirror bixel in your mind, it gives you 2 numbers to multiply for the computer password. Later in the game you use the flat screwdriver on the bixel box to get the reset button. (save first)

ReplyDeleteAmazingly awesome! You never fail to disappoint, Kotorinosu!
ReplyDeleteAnd one I managed to get out without help!!
What's good in not knowing what 95% of the things we can see are?
ReplyDeleteWorst idea I've seen in a good while. Especially from a developer who's had quite some brilliant games.
bio
It becomes pretty cool if you can get through the beginning when you finally realize what's going on. I quit at first but glad I came back.
ReplyDeleteThat was very cool! I really enjoyed the guessing at what things were in low resolution and the sense of discovery as the resolution got better. This is the most original game I've played all year if not more! Thanks Kotorinosu!
ReplyDeleteSo... When you finish the game you can play "extras" which is the same room but altogether a different game. I'm stuck with a pair of scissors (have cut the pillow) and a + and - screw driver. What's next?
ReplyDelete(in the extra game): oh duh - it's the numbers that aren't there. Not so hard when I actually "looked" at it.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! Am I supposed to know what this stuff I'm looking at is??
ReplyDeleteOkay, once you get the hang of that that game is seriously cool and really original. Once I figured out things were going to keep getting clearer as I kept solving puzzles, I was completely riveted, and that doesn't happen with every game. Great idea, and keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteWNWT? (What, No WalkThrough?)
ReplyDeleteI'm working on one - it may take me a couple of days! I haven't found the pixellated battery yet! Stay tuned!
Walkthrough:
ReplyDeleteRESOLUTION 1: Giant Pixels
When you start you can't make out much of anything. If you click on the big white rectangle you get a zoom showing you a yellow diamond shape you can move. You can grab GREEN BLOB #1 from under it.
Go 2x either L or R, and you find a blue square on the left. GREEN BLOB #2 is on it.
I think those are the only items you can find at this stage. You need to clear your head a bit, or the air, or something. One step left from the blue square there's an empty white square which has an X in the middle when you zoom on it. Click that, and it's a little bit like a good hangover cure - you've made it to
RESOLUTION 2 - The Furniture
Now you can sort of see where you are. There's a small grey spot just below the white square: pick that up, it's a PIXELLATED BATTERY. Just to your left (same screen) is a chair and table. You can now click on the chair and move its cushion to find GREEN BLOB #3! You notice that the 3 blobs have resoloved into triangle, square, and circle in your inventory. Ready to solve 1st puzzle!
Going left you can just make out the table with another chair (there are things on the table but you need to see better first) , and the white rectangle is now sort of a sofa with a yellow pillow, and 2 shelves above it.
Left once more, there is a potted plant, maybe, and what looks like a fireplace. Click the brown rectangle above the fireplace and find the place to put your GREEN BLOBS!
Then click the blue square off to the right - it's a lever! and look in the fireplace for your HAMMER.
Go left once, and use the HAMMER on the little translucent rectangle near the bottom of the brown rectangle that now looks like it might be a china cabinet (it's really a closet door). Now you can open that door to get a LADDER.
Before you use the LADDER, go around and look at everything, since you're about to change it again.
One step right from the ladder (left of the fireplace) there's a grey rectangle up high. Go to that with your LADDER, find the second switch and enter
RESOLUTION 3: Mario World
Now you can see that there's 2 bird figurines and a blue box on the mantelpiece.
Going left, on the green table or desk there's now a color-coded box where you can enter letters (don't think it's solvable yet). The blue rectangle on top is now some kind of appliance with a battery in it, needing another. Now here's a tricky part; if you're very very very clever, you'll notice that the PIXELLATED BATTERY in your inventory didn't change resolution when everything else did. Smash it with your HAMMER, get BATTERY, install in device!
Turn it over, and it's a clock! (Push button on right side.) Make note of the numbers and colors.
Keep in mind the yellow figure on the right; we'll come back to it soon.
Back out of the table, see that the oraqnge picture probably says 'pixel' with the 'p' out of place. Entering 'ixel' on the table will do you no good.
Blue thng is now a round sidetable.
Left again, now we can see the escape door with its handle. Guess what? It doesn't open.
Left again, you can make out the desk and chair and see that the brownish rectangle is a clock you can set. Set the 3 hands according to the colors and numbers from the digital clock, hear something open. Click the clock tself and find SCISSORS behind it.
SP11bOI15rLE40gR
Now look at the brown thng on the sidetable next to the couch. Push the button on his head and he gives you a pattern to reproduce on the yellow guy:
SrPuOuIlLuErRlSuPOILER
When you do this, the cupboard below him opens, and you get a PRESENT.
Use SCISSORS to open it, get BIRD #1.
To be continued...
I'll continue this - I'm having to do this in stages - please be patient - should be complete by sometime tomorrow.
*orange picture*
ReplyDelete*blue thing*
*brown thing*
WT cont.
ReplyDeleteGo to the mantelpiece with your BIRD, notice which way it faces; so place it on the left. I'm not real sure what happens here, but it seems to replace the one that's already there (whch has a funny tail - maybe not a bird), you hear a noise, and now you can open the blue box to find the 3rd switch. You have made it to
RESOLUTION 4: Mario World 2 (actually I should have called the earlier levels Pong (2) and Asteroids (3))
All sorts of things to see now. Go left to the orange pic; now you can release the 4 latches around it, and the 'p' drops to become a 'b'. bixel? or is it maybe 73x19 upside down? Hm.
Going left, at the purple desk you can now take a memo from a drawer, and see that the other drawer needs a key.
You can see a pic of a cat under the strange grid on the upper right.
Now go to the brown blob on the upper shelf. I still don't know what it is, but its mouth is a zipper; open it and get a KEY!
KEY opens left drawer for SCREWDRIVER. Now - we are rich.
Go to the TV that seems to be inset into the desk. Press the button on the left and enter your 4-digit code - remember 73x19?
S1P3O8I7LER
Click the left icon to see a map of the room; click the right icon to see an important clue. Now go to the door and click the corner of the carpet under it. (Note: you can't get this zoom until you see the clue.) Get a ROUND BOX. Use your SD to open it; get CD.
Return to the TV and press the button on the right to install the CD. Press the left button again; new icon will give you the next switch to enter
RESOLUTION 5: My First Escape Game
I'm putting in a new kitchen floor as I write this, so more later!
WT Part 3!
ReplyDeleteHere in this new resolution, if you look at the cat again, you see that his eyes are screws, which you can remove, then open the drawer below to find GREEN HEXAGON.
Before you leave the desk, study your MEMO again. It was just a bunch of colored dots but now it's an 8x8 grid of colored letters. Match up the dots on the desk grid with letters on your MEMO, get the solution for the letters safe.
(I think solution changes w/ each game, so spoiler is worthless) Go to the green cabinet, enter the code, get GREEN STAR.
Now if you look around you'll find lots of things with screws, and most of them require a different screwdriver! So we're not so rich as we thought. But there's one screw we can remove, above the fireplace where we put in our first pieces.
Doing so, we find there's a place behind them for our STAR and HEXAGON. Put them in, pull the lever, get FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER from the fireplace.
Now we can unscrew anything we like. Start with the orange pic just above. Aha! We've found the RESET button. We'll need this later; don't use it just yet.
Go left and unscrew the panel on the door. Find a 6x6 grid puzzle.
Left once more, and unscrew the cyan 'III' to find a clue behind it. It's a clue for the lower left corner of the grid, but it's at the wrong resolution!
Other clues can be found in a hidden hotspot behind the closet door (upper right-I), in the letter cabinet (upper left-II), and on the TV screen (lower right- IV). The one on the screen is the only one you can read!
You'll have to press the RESET button and visit all these places in order (starting at Resolution 2), and write down the pattern as you go, pressing the appropriate upgrade switch in between each one. You have to press upgrade switch I before you can open the closet door! Then record that clue, go climb the ladder for the next switch, go to the green cabinet for clue 2. Go to the blue box for the next switch, then to the cyan pic for clue 3. Then to the TV screen for the 4th switch, and record the clue there if you didn't already.
Then go to the grid, enter white dots in the appropriate spots, and enter
The Final RESOLUTION...
Now you can discern a chain hanging next to the door. Pull on it, and pick up the ESCAPE KEY!
Use on door and you're out!
Unless you're an EG24 gamer, that is...
If that's what you are, you notice on the main menu at the end, that there's an animated red 'NEW' next to the word 'HOME'. You click on home, then click on 'Extra Game'.
Here we go some mo'.
But not right away, I need a break. Coming tomorrow morning probably.
EXTRA GAME WT
ReplyDeletePart1....
You start in the same room again, but at the new higher resolution. Looking around, you see the cat's eyes have screws again, the clock is reset, there's now a birdy pic where there was a 'III', there's a new code on the push-button doll, there's a green triangle drawn on the couch where you picked up your first green triangle oh so long ago, and if you click the pillow agan, there's a 4 on it, and there's a new KEY in the strange pouch on the upper shelf. This KEY fits the left drawer and gets you SCISSORS.
Go left, pick up PIECE 1 beside plant (see all PIECES by clicking in the upper left corner), note you can enter numbers above the mantle, and the thing that's not a bird is a gravy boat.
Left again, the blue thing we thought was a round sidetable is a trash can, it has a green square drawn in it, and the number 8 nearby.
Both the digital clock and the yellow doll need batteries, and the clock needs a SD too.
Go left, pull chain for PIECE 3, pick up JAR from floor.
Battery in JAR! Need flathead screwdriver! Arrggh!
While you're here, note green circle on chair and number 3 underneath.
Go to the fireplace, enter #s from the 3 green shapes, get FLATHEAD SD.
Go right, take apart birdy pic for CLUE PAPER.
Right 2x, take down pixel pic for PIECE 5. Look under corner of carpet for PIECE 2. Oh, and PIECE 4 is in the yellow pillow - use SCISSORS.
Unscrew the lid of your JAR for BATTERY, and put it in the yellow doll. Top= on/off button. R and L buttons scroll your clue. 4 symbols, probably different for different games.
Go to the red doll, click him on, and wait at that button; as the symbols go by, you need to click your 4 symbols in order. (They'll turn blue.) Drawer beneath opens for the PHILLIPS SD.
Unscrew cat's eyes on purple desk, get PIECE 6.
Unscrew digital clock, take your BATTERY back from yellow doll, you can put it in the clock but still need another.
Now you can solve the left green cb with your CLUE PAPER. Go to the grid on the desk, now full of white & black dots, and mentally imagine the shape made by the white dots inside each of the colored squares if it were placed on the grid. Each will be a recognizable letter. Enter in green cabinet, get PRESENT; open with SCISSORS for GRAVY BOAT!
Replace birdy on mantle with GRAVY BOAT; open blue box for BATTERY 2.
Put BATTERY 2 in clock to get an incomprehensible clock clue.
Will continue this later....
Extra Game WT Pt. 2:
ReplyDeleteTo solve the clock clue is actually very simple, the sort of thing that makes you slap your head after you work on it for an hour - even our puzzlemaster E-Addict had to brute-force this one at first - but it's really easy. Just invert the colored-in segments with the black ones, so that what you do not see is the number you need. Blue=04, red=35, green=15. Get CD and SILVER KEY (partly hiding behind clock) which falls behind the plant on the desk.
Look at the TV, insert the CD, click left button and camera icon for clue. There's your gravy boats with the blue box in between (did you notice it has a false bottom?) - the left boat is orange, the right one green.
Use SILVER KEY on the right green cabinet to get HOT POT and follow the friendly arrow to get PIECE 7. Your HOT POT has only primary colors - you'll have to do some mixing to get the orange and green.
Once right to the boats - red + yellow in the left, then yellow + blue in the right, is the quickest way to do it. Open blue box for HAMMER.
Once left, use HAMMER to open closet door; get LADDER and PIECE 9 from hidden hotspot.
Once right, use LADDER to reach cubbyhole, get PIECE 10, see white frame lying there.
Right again, to use HAMMER on the grey panel to the right of the door. Get PIECE 8, and now you have all 10. The grid to place them in is on the door.
This is kinda tough for the geometrically challenged - what got me through it was starting with the cross in the center (thanks to hints above), then finding 2 pieces to fill the lower left corner. Everything kind of falls into place once you have 3 of them in right. All spaces must be filled. You will end with 4 white squares in the same pattern as the resolution switches from the first game. One more click and you're free.
A special thanks to both the game makers, for a very original and fun idea, and to a great group of players here, incl. (but not limited to) zoz, Leroy, E-Addict, Lottie (who's done a vid-WT), NH, Clodagh, Sarah P. and other brave souls....
see you in the next trap!
