    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm not good in riddles, stuck on lvl 4, I found a movie "Son-in-Law", but no name fits in.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Mako - the movie is indicated by the objects depicted in the clue - what are they? They make 4 syllables in three words, and the son-in-law is the main character - the actor's surname is needed.

    ReplyDelete
  65. finished (finally) thanks for the prequel small :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. I still don't understand 7 I'm afraid. I'm imagining the times on the clockface, but the image doesn't mean anything to me. I've tried 'fingers', but I can't think of anything else.

  73. Oh well, I tried. I really did! I don't know who "granny" is to ask her about the moon panicking. Google didn't help me. I think my brain just doesn't work this way - lol!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Zoe,
Granny is (just like SD is a well known term for escapers) a way of saying Granmaa and that is a way of saying 'anagram'.

    ReplyDelete
  75. small-tool: Didn't know that. Each time I learn something new about these, I get a tiny bit better! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  76. geez! I cannot even pass level 1

    ReplyDelete
  77. Estefania, every sentence starts with a capital letter, use them in order to get the answer

    ReplyDelete
  78. Estefania,
The text on that level is about first things and cap(italized) letters. So just look at the first letter of every sentence and put those together to make a 5 letter word/answer.

    ReplyDelete
  79. finished all now, thank you for the riddles (^‿^✿)

    ReplyDelete
  80. Congrats and thanks for playing Mako :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. THANKS!!!! I am here just waiting for someone to post a walk through, HAHAHA!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hi s-t, nice little taster lol

Level 9 had me puzzled for a bit, I was making a long sentence out of all the missing bits, it made some kind of sense after the first clues, but then it kin of imploded lol

    ReplyDelete
  83. Yay Congrats Rambler :)
Tomorrow a tiny bit harder :P

Congrats and thanks for playing New :)

  89. I only get "Sorry, the page was not found" when i post my answer.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Just worked out #8! Getting there!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Then it's the wrong answer Jef.
We use a free web site to make these and doesn't let us make pages like wrong answer etc.
So go back (with your browser buttons) and try another answer.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  95. Nice prequel Small. Level 9 had me puzzled for a bit, as it turned out I made the same mistake as Rambler..

    Goed gedaan jochie :)))

    ReplyDelete
  103. Stuck on 9
not sure with the 5th clue is Never-less

    ReplyDelete
  104. oh Pop! now working on the answer

    ReplyDelete
  105. I guess I am still stuck on 9. the first 5 seem to make a sentence then .... ???

    ReplyDelete
  106. Enjoy, try first letters of all the words you found.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Sorry, i think that came out back to front. Yes, the first 5 words seem to be making a cogent sentence...and then it seems to go a bit whacko. However, what you really need is the first letters of all the 'in-between' words that you found.

    ReplyDelete
  108. thanks Clio_rose. Got it!

Thanks Jon and small-tool. It was fun!

    ReplyDelete
  109. thanks small-tool & Jonthewatch!

    ReplyDelete
  112. good riddle and lots more to look forward to,thanks small-tool

    ReplyDelete
  113. Still stuck on level 6, tried over an hour, still nothing...please help

    ReplyDelete
  114. Level 6 is Braille,
    Use this site:

    http://www.braillecards.co.uk/whats-braille

The first letter should be a W.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Erik
Group them in vertical levels of 6
    ie 2 columns
Then the dark glasses correspond to dots
This gives you 7 groups of dots
Then use the link from Donas above and you will feel the correct letters and thereby the right answer

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thanks Small-tool, I will try to work it out....

    ReplyDelete
  117. I am not good at riddle games, but I also don't like them because you can't progress if you don't know one answer. Would it spoil the gameplay if one could pick the level - i.e. if you can't do one, move on to the next one?

    ReplyDelete
  118. On this one you can pick levels:

    http://www.escapegames24.com/2012/07/tales-from-darkside.html

But that's a way more difficult riddle.

And isn't it a bit the same in escape games as well. If you can't solve a certain code (or find/get a key in an Selfdefiant game) you can't progress either.
Anyway, only play them if you like them, it's made to give people a bit of playing fun. But if it's not fun for you, loads and loads of other games on this great site.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Help on level 7. Please? Anybody?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Level 7.
Make the times in the text on the clock with clock hands.
They will make the shapes of letters.
For example the first time is 3:00, so that would make the big hand up and the little hand to the 3, so then you have the shape of the letter L.

    ReplyDelete
  121. 1st Prequel Walkthrough WITH ANSWERS! SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Level 1: read the text, it tells you 'first things first', 'initially' and says 'thinking CAP'. The capital letters of the sentences spell the word WATER.

Level 2: same trick as Lvl 1 but this time you need to find words to fit the pictures, big Hair, big Ears, big Mouth, big Ass, big Nose = HEMAN (no spaces etc...)

Level 3: Granny or granmaa is anagram, an anagram of 'moon panic' = companion

Level 4: Rebus level. Meat Duh Pear Ants = meet the parents. Ben Stiller played the son-in-law and as the title tells you, surname only = stiller

    Level 5: All roads lead to Rome and you have the Italian flag to hammer the point home. 1 = I, 5 = V, 10 = X, 50 = L, 100 = C, 500 = D and 1000 = M. the answer is 'mildcivilmix'

Level 6: The tool-man is blind and the page tells you to 'feel', the alphabet for the blind is Braille. Note the way the tool-man is facing and the location of the glasses....the braille spells out 'walking'

Level 7: Put the hands on the clock and see what letters they spell out...LIVE

Level 8: google level, just simply google the questions and find the answers, ie, capital of Nepal = Kathmandu, write this answer down and answer the rest of the questions, then read down your answers...first things first again.....'kicking'

Level 9: connections puzzle, find the word in the middle that will make a larger word: to GET her = Get, drag ON fly, do OR knob, out DO or, never THE less, bra IN wave, chair MAN ship, gen ERA list and three SO me...take first things first (a recurring theme in riddles) and they spell out: goodtimes :)

    ReplyDelete
  122. Finally got it it! Pff.. Thanks Joe and ST!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thank you SmallTool. I knew that much. But all I could figure was the L I. Senior moments slapped me silly after that.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Thanks for the WT. I was stuck on 2...thought that Mick Jagger had big Teeth in the pic! No wonder I couldn't figure it...He tan??

    ReplyDelete
  125. Going back to try to become a better riddler - thanks S-T for the baby steps...
