First in?? Alright!
ReplyDeleteThis is very SD-like, and pretty good so far - found lighter and shovel at house view, bunch of things I can't open
ReplyDeletedrag items to use them...
ReplyDeleteI like the background music
ReplyDeletefound a shovel, a lighter and a stone so far
got key on beach - in house now
ReplyDeleteVery Selfdefiant-esk.
ReplyDeletelight candles in bathroom
ReplyDeleteuse shovel at scene with jetski to get a key. Use key to open door in the house. Got a knife in kitchen. There is also a piece of paper in drawer.
ReplyDelete3rd color # (candle) and order clue in bedroom
ReplyDeleteUse numbers from candles (order in fireplace) to open box outside and get a clue
ReplyDeletestuck now. Don't know what to do with clue
ReplyDeleteCan take flowers in pool scene but nothing happens
I need a screwdriver for mirror and loose tile in bathroom
Bingo! screwdriver above pool table
ReplyDeleteget remote for TV, finish of paper clue...?
ReplyDeletehm, still not making sense of paper clue; we need our visualization experts (maybe the math whizzes too)
ReplyDeleteI got the 2 digit clue, and saw a 2 digit thing earlier, but I can't find it again!
ReplyDelete@just1 please help
ReplyDeletecan't find screwdriver in pool table. Tried to use knife, lighter and stone but it doesn't work
blatant sd ripoff
ReplyDeleteAMorgana the SD is on the wall above left of the pool table :)
ReplyDeletepardon meant to say @Morgana
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but this seems to me like a SD knock off. I'm not saying that it is not a bad game, not at all. But it is lacking the class and savvy that SD puts into his games as far as listening to his fans.
ReplyDeleteThis just is lacking a whole bunch of respect. But, I will trudge onward.
It sure is, Philomena - but I'm giving it credit for having no bugs so far
ReplyDeleteTotal SD knockoff, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So far the game isn't half bad. No bugs yet at least, and he didn't steal his icons for screwdrivers and keys from SD.
ReplyDeleteAh, TV and paper clue are unrelated - find box in the lounge (den?)
ReplyDeleteyes, got another key
ReplyDeletestill live? Im in now..
ReplyDeletethanks @just1!
ReplyDeletestuck again after getting a black key
okay, w-y-b nos. work on box on patio - get another clue!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Leroy! Bring your trunks? Nice pool here!
ReplyDeletegreen key in sofa in room with tv box
ReplyDeleteGot a black key from TV clue, but don't know yet where to use it. The paper clue could be 74 (x=7, y=4)
ReplyDeleteI saw that just1 LOL
ReplyDeletecan't find a place to use the green or black keys, can't find a blue key for the closet
ReplyDeleteabove 74 the other piece of paper says ?=7-3
ReplyDeleteHm, where to enter the 5# code I just figured out?
ReplyDeleteblue key in light above mirror
ReplyDeletegot a green key from using knife in cushion
ReplyDelete@Philomena thx for green key - don't know where to use it either but I feel better now that I've used my knife
ReplyDeleteblue key opens door in bedroom, black key opens drawer need 4 digit code for box in drawer
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blue key hint @Philomena
ReplyDeleteNow I used my black key to open a box and find a box which needs a 5 digit code.
wondering if order to green flowers in pool scene...
ReplyDeletegreen key opens door to right of blue key door
ReplyDeleteI mean *drawer
ReplyDeletei thought the code would be 43447, but no
Aha thx Philomena! Black key opens file cb (middle bottom)
ReplyDeleteand...my precious number doesn't work :(
ReplyDelete@Leroy I was wondering the same thing about the tins in the kitchen
ReplyDeleteMust be typo, 43437 worked
ReplyDeletewhich damn mirror LOL I in bathroom and lights dont hilite...
ReplyDeleteStill got rock
ReplyDeleteNice find @MsDebbiK!
ReplyDelete@Leroy the mirror is in the front hall - the light is just above the landing
TY
ReplyDeleteRock must somehow get us the exit code
ReplyDeleteps it was where I unscrewd picture... Not a mirror I wouldnt have thought LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's not 344
ReplyDeletethat clue on wall? looks like something under the first bin there
ReplyDeleteWell, I've tried throwing the rock at everything, including the bins - nada
ReplyDeleteJust noted different shaped holes on green bins next to shapes on wall... dont think it means anything though
ReplyDeletefair amount of red herrings in this game, lol

ReplyDeleteTY Out now
ReplyDeleteI worked it out. The Triangle and Squares clue - count the number of letters for the name of the shape i.e. TRIANGLE has 8 letters. Follow the order of the arrow and walla! You can use the key on the jetski! I still have my rock - i'll take it as a souvenir :)
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks @Melissa - I wasn't going to think of that ever (but SD's done it too, at times)
ReplyDeleteI guess the rock is our New Year's gift!
ReplyDeleteCharlie Brown always got one for Halloween...
Hm, I don't know what went wrong, but I think that clue was meant to be ?=x-y. Then the code would be correct.
ReplyDeleteAll in all a good game; I'll take it as a tribute to our friend SelfDefiant.
can't get exit code. Thought it was 866?
ReplyDeletecould someone please spoil exit code?
ReplyDeleteThat's what worked for me evans - does it say 'Nothing Happened' when you back out?
ReplyDeleteas usual clues suck! Someone put the exit code on here for the next players. I am not waiting anymore. Thanks for no help Melissa with your cryptic hint!
ReplyDeleteGreat find, Melissa; I never would have figured it out. Escaped with rock and an unused gold key. Interesting game, but a bit distracting without a map and all the red herrings. Well, it's not easy to compete with Selfdefiant :D
ReplyDeleteevans, the exit code is a triangle and two squares. If you count the letters of the word "triangle" you get 8. The letters of square amount to 6. Hence the exit code is ...
ReplyDeleteSP8OIL66ER
SP8OIL66ER
spythere - totally agree! SD is the master of these kind of games :P

ReplyDelete@evans, relax, buddy. Take a deep breath, and maybe refresh your screen before submitting angry comments.
ReplyDeleteI thought the game was fun. (A map would've helped a little.)
Thanks for all the good hints, everyone!
@Peggy I guess that rather hell would freeze over than evans lose his ever-pissed-off tone!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you really want to help him, you get no answer and very rarely a 'thank you', so you can bet your life on it that when I give a less-obvious hint and everyone but him understands it I am not going to re-explain it for him but enjoy keeping him on tenterhooks as a reward for the behavior he would always show...
That's because I dislike this tone, which almost sounds a bit misanthropic at times; like a recluse only getting in contact with other people if he/she is required to.
@arbeitslooser, :-D
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh. Thanks.
:) ...Even though that was not my intention, it was meant in all sincerity. :-O
ReplyDeleteOk game
ReplyDeletenot up to SD standards by any means but a try
By the way arbeit....I agree

ReplyDeleteI didn't like this game so much. It started out with promise, but there were too many small things that bugged me. Red herrings are a waste of time, both in collecting them and trying them on everything. As one player said, they threw the rock at everything. It doesn't improve game play. The game screen was very small, so that seeing the items was difficult. I tried both Chrome and Safari and they were the same. Had to click the 5 number box several times before it opened - possibly the number clue was incorrect??I never did get the triangle square square clue to work - should be 866, but the number box never went away and the key did not seem to work while the box was open.
ReplyDeleteI found a key on the beach, but where's te matching door?
ReplyDeleteCan't take nothing buggy game for me
ReplyDeleteWhat happens with the geen flowers, second scene on the right? You click them, and they just disappear?
ReplyDeletegreen flowers
ReplyDeleteto take some objet you have to click on and drag it to inventory
ReplyDeletethe first key opened a door in the house (near TV)
From view jetski go 3x up
I think the game would have been better with a map!!! 866 works for me. I didn't get the flowers thing but enjoyed the game.
