  17. I'm sorry, but this seems to me like a SD knock off. I'm not saying that it is not a bad game, not at all. But it is lacking the class and savvy that SD puts into his games as far as listening to his fans.

This just is lacking a whole bunch of respect. But, I will trudge onward.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It sure is, Philomena - but I'm giving it credit for having no bugs so far

    ReplyDelete
  19. Total SD knockoff, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So far the game isn't half bad. No bugs yet at least, and he didn't steal his icons for screwdrivers and keys from SD.

  52. I worked it out. The Triangle and Squares clue - count the number of letters for the name of the shape i.e. TRIANGLE has 8 letters. Follow the order of the arrow and walla! You can use the key on the jetski! I still have my rock - i'll take it as a souvenir :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow, thanks @Melissa - I wasn't going to think of that ever (but SD's done it too, at times)

    ReplyDelete
  54. I guess the rock is our New Year's gift!
Charlie Brown always got one for Halloween...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hm, I don't know what went wrong, but I think that clue was meant to be ?=x-y. Then the code would be correct.

All in all a good game; I'll take it as a tribute to our friend SelfDefiant.

    ReplyDelete
  56. can't get exit code. Thought it was 866?

    ReplyDelete
  57. could someone please spoil exit code?

    ReplyDelete
  58. That's what worked for me evans - does it say 'Nothing Happened' when you back out?

    ReplyDelete
  59. as usual clues suck! Someone put the exit code on here for the next players. I am not waiting anymore. Thanks for no help Melissa with your cryptic hint!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Great find, Melissa; I never would have figured it out. Escaped with rock and an unused gold key. Interesting game, but a bit distracting without a map and all the red herrings. Well, it's not easy to compete with Selfdefiant :D

    ReplyDelete
  61. evans, the exit code is a triangle and two squares. If you count the letters of the word "triangle" you get 8. The letters of square amount to 6. Hence the exit code is ...

  64. @evans, relax, buddy. Take a deep breath, and maybe refresh your screen before submitting angry comments.

I thought the game was fun. (A map would've helped a little.)

Thanks for all the good hints, everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Peggy I guess that rather hell would freeze over than evans lose his ever-pissed-off tone!
And if you really want to help him, you get no answer and very rarely a 'thank you', so you can bet your life on it that when I give a less-obvious hint and everyone but him understands it I am not going to re-explain it for him but enjoy keeping him on tenterhooks as a reward for the behavior he would always show...

That's because I dislike this tone, which almost sounds a bit misanthropic at times; like a recluse only getting in contact with other people if he/she is required to.

  66. @arbeitslooser, :-D
    You made me laugh. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  67. :) ...Even though that was not my intention, it was meant in all sincerity. :-O

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ok game
not up to SD standards by any means but a try

    ReplyDelete
  69. By the way arbeit....I agree

  71. I didn't like this game so much. It started out with promise, but there were too many small things that bugged me. Red herrings are a waste of time, both in collecting them and trying them on everything. As one player said, they threw the rock at everything. It doesn't improve game play. The game screen was very small, so that seeing the items was difficult. I tried both Chrome and Safari and they were the same. Had to click the 5 number box several times before it opened - possibly the number clue was incorrect??I never did get the triangle square square clue to work - should be 866, but the number box never went away and the key did not seem to work while the box was open.

  72. I found a key on the beach, but where's te matching door?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Can't take nothing buggy game for me

    ReplyDelete
  74. What happens with the geen flowers, second scene on the right? You click them, and they just disappear?

    ReplyDelete
  75. to take some objet you have to click on and drag it to inventory

the first key opened a door in the house (near TV)
From view jetski go 3x up

    ReplyDelete
  76. I think the game would have been better with a map!!! 866 works for me. I didn't get the flowers thing but enjoyed the game.
