It will start easy (especially when you played the 4 prequels), but will slowly get harder. Anyway, have a lot of fun with it and help each other a lot in the comments but...

  1. 13 is all about ´hidden text´ Ctrl A
    And a basic riddle thing.

    ReplyDelete
  2. thanks s-t!
stuck on 18. how do I use pi to pick letters?

    ReplyDelete
  3. okay, for 14, I get only one possible letter for owl & vulture, 2 possibles for the others. I'll spoil what I have, maybe someone can get me through this...

    SPOILER
    m - a - y or e - a or d - i or e
    SPOILER (kind of)

    can't make a word!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Found the hidden text earlier .. that was easy based on the previous hints. I guess it's the "basic" thing I can't quite understand.

P.S. For the record, this has got to be one of the most difficult and frustrating puzzles you've made. Grats.

  5. I feel so lost. How do you separate the images to search for them on Google. I know how to search, just don't know how to separate images and retain some sort of URL.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Me2: Like it said, you'd have to use an image manipulator like GIMP to slice it up yourself, upload them, and then search them out.

If it helps any, I've got 2 of the images from level 15 up:

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/WillRennar/WhatIsThis1.png

    and
    (same)/WhatIsThis2.png

(I didn't do images for the other two because I recognized the artists almost immediately.)

    ReplyDelete
  7. just1: Double-check your 4th letter. You're on the right track with the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Just to double-check on Level 15: Is the answer 4 letters, or 8? Because I noticed a FirstThingsFirst bit about the spiel under the pic where it said "ALBUM BAND" and I'm wondering if I need one, the other, or both.

    ReplyDelete
  9. me2: simplest way I think is make a screenshot - on Apple it's ctrl-shift-4, then you draw a rectangle around the image you want. It goes to your desktop; click on the camera then upload image, and browse for it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. xaq, thanks for the two. I'm not tech savvy enough to download that program and figure out how to use it. I am old enough to know the background picture. I'll just keep trying to google the other two pics. Wish they weren't so blurry.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Answer level 15 is 4 letters and no anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Me2

if you need some clues for the artists think, Whole lotta Rosie, Whole lotta love and Whole lotta plastic surgery

    ReplyDelete
  13. level 13: r** h******** doesnt seem to lead anywhere .. am I overthinking the whole thing?

    ReplyDelete
  14. for level 13, look for some hidden text

    ReplyDelete
  15. @donas, found that earlier .. not sure what to do with it, though. Tried all the basic riddle stuff per S/T's suggestion .. still stumped.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Whew! Thank you xaq, I got the word by bf'ing that 4th letter. Still don't know why - the arm should be a vowel, the hand alone should be 'd', and it's not reversed - acc. to all the sites I checked, that letter should be a leg!

    ReplyDelete
  17. @Unknown, you're 'under'thinking; remember to look at the title, then just take the 1st word you get. You'll know it's the right one lol

    ReplyDelete
  18. Just1,
    I used this site,

    http://luthorien.altervista.org/Tools/images/hieroglyph.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  19. Glad I could help.

Now if I just had a clue as to what I'm supposed to be doing with the info I have on Lv 15. Got the artists, got the albums, even have the track listings...I can't make heads or tails of it.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Enzed, thanks! Got the artists, albums, strange letter, and stuck. Unfortunately I have to go to bed, go to work tomorrow and then go out of town for three days. At this rate I'm hopeful you'll all be done by the time I get back to it. Wonderful puzzle and wonderful fellow "puzzlers."

    ReplyDelete
  21. xaq,
The text (first things first) combined with background pic, tells you when to use the A and when to use the B (again first things first).

    ReplyDelete
  22. @just1, thought i had a better grasp on it with your hint, but still nothing. I'm probably just too tired at the moment, so I will try again later.

Thanks to all for the hints thus far.

    ReplyDelete
  23. S/T any connection with Michael Jackson????

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow ty @small-tool, I tried 4 other places and they don't have that

    anyway this one's fun:
    http://www.discoveringegypt.com/Egyptian-Hieroglyphic-Alphabet.html
you can type text in and get hieroglyphs (he made up symbols for e and v)

    ReplyDelete
  25. ...*headdesks* Okay, now I've got it.

    On to 16.

    ReplyDelete
  26. just got back to level 18- still can't see how the C's drive the letter pick-Grrrrr!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I got B D T D, but have not idea where to use

    ReplyDelete
  28. Zoran

If you're on level 15 then you are wrong with your third letter but more importantly are not taking into account the "clue" and the big picture

    ReplyDelete
  29. Zoran, 1st & 4th letters are the 'A' method, you have those right

now use 'B' method for the others

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's getting late here, or rather early tomorrow, and I'll leave it at #16 for now, maybe someone will leave a hint for me. I have only 4 letters I'm certain of, the rest seem to have 2 or 3 possibilities.

Good night all, and TYVM Jonthewatch and small-tool!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh my god thank you, it was so obvious

    ReplyDelete
  32. Made it up to 18, but this pie picture is confusing me. I'm just gonna leave it here for tonight and see if any clues are posted by tomorrow. G'night all.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @xaq, any clue for lvl 16?

    ReplyDelete
  34. could use some more help for lvl 10. Got to the egg, understand from it's text the backwards part, but don't know what to do next. Don't know what to stir!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Me too, ike! Can't get anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ike and minxi, read your cipher from right to left and some letters will be different, then stir it up with granny's mixer.

    ReplyDelete
  37. For the level 10 egg, there's something other than the text that can be read backwards - try the image.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thank you! Will give it a go.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thx clio_rose and Clodagh

    ReplyDelete
  40. If anyone is here, any clues for 18? Kind of stuck there

    ReplyDelete
  41. Zoran, clue for 18. The pic. What is it? What is another way to spell it?..and..perhaps a way to numerically express it? Then pick your letters.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I do understand that, I am having troubles with picking letters. not sure if i should focus on the text below the picture

    ReplyDelete
  43. not sure what I'm looking for here on 17 .the past don't help me

    ReplyDelete
  44. lvl 16, am I looking for a certain riddle tool language?

    ReplyDelete
  45. @mtatt100, the key is in "prime" numbers
don't use the answers from previous lvls, use something else

    ReplyDelete
  46. Zoran, pick first number from the title and then continue with the text.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @clio_rose, thank you, i forget about the title every time, everything seems so obvious now

    ReplyDelete
  48. Any hints for 19?
I tried to use Rot/Caesar cipher but it doesn't make a word

    ReplyDelete
  49. Morgana........if you change the incorrect letters with the correct letters......and then count how many jumps you made to get to the correct letter, it may help you enjoy the correct drink that the emperor offers you.

    ReplyDelete
  50. thx mtatt, not always easy when your language is Dutch and we are not silent, lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. thanks @clio
What about level 20? Do I use the same method? What do I count now?

    ReplyDelete
  52. you only have a sentence now so use it Morgana

    ReplyDelete
  53. Totally stuck at 12. And I found prequel 1 level 1 easy! Is the answer word or a number? Don't understand the hints given so far. Can't find any sentences. Please help! And thanks again to Clodagh.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Minix, Small-tool was so nice to translate some text, maybe you should try it there

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thank you Donas, but I still have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing.

    ReplyDelete
  56. 21 no idea keep getting ancient history business course with google

    ReplyDelete
  57. On 21
If you did the correct (basic) thing with the info on the pic. You know what to Google.

    ReplyDelete
  58. For 23, I know what to use, have tried several things with what I got, just not the right thing, lol. Any help?

    ReplyDelete
  59. On 23
"they're totally different species." is very important.

    ReplyDelete
  60. mtatt, for 21, maybe substitute numbers for some of the letters, then check the appropriate previous things for what it tells you. ...and then google.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I still keep getting gibberish on lvl 19 after replacing incorrect letters with correct and counting the jumps, I must be overseeing something so simple

    ReplyDelete
  62. Zoran,
Seems like you have the correct method, but maybe did rot up where you have to rot down and vice versa.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Zoran....if maybe....say........a correct letter was an I..and there were an O there instead..then i would suggest that perhaps that is 6 jumps.....and then...if that were the case..i would see what the emperor offered me as the 6th rotten drink.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @clio-rose, what do you mean "substitute numbers"?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Zoran, remember sometimes letters can be converted to numbers

    ReplyDelete
  66. sub numbers for certain letters

    ReplyDelete
  67. I see the changes on lvl 22 (my poor eyes), but don't know what to do with them - can I have a hint please

    ReplyDelete
  68. CeeBee,
Are you sure you see the correct changes?

    ReplyDelete
  69. don't understand lvl 18, how to pick letters with the pic clue ?

    ReplyDelete
  70. ike,
you know what the pic is right? use the numbers to pick letters, but don't forget the title

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ike, don't forget to use the title

    ReplyDelete
  72. gonna try once more morgana and donas, thx for now

    ReplyDelete
  73. I got only 1920 and stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Zoran: What level are you on? That's a hint not an actual question ;)

    ReplyDelete
  75. need a little more help on 20 please, tried using the same method as 19 but its not working at all, just keep getting gibberish

    ReplyDelete
  76. Rbud, use the text to find the change

    ReplyDelete
  77. as soon as i posted i got it again

    ReplyDelete
  78. Zoran, use 19 and 20 separate and you'll probably get 21

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Zoran: you found 19 and 20 by using a certain method. Now use that same method on the BA and relate that to the level you are on.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Zoran: On lvl 21 it's S and T not ST, then think about what Jbg asked you, he was giving you a hint.

    ReplyDelete
  81. my braincells are working overtime but I still don't get 18. I guess the digits beyond the decimal point from the clue exceed the number of my brain cells by far.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Ike,
Use the digit in front of the decimal point too!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I am on lvl 21, BA is 21, what I am missing?

    ReplyDelete
  84. This riddle is so good/confounding that I'm making my very first comment :)

I'm stumped by 16. I understand that we're looking for things that are quiet, but I can't figure out which ones. There are three that I'm sure about, and a bunch that I'm not.

    Help please!

    ReplyDelete
  85. can i get a hint on 22 please, see the text and nos are different but am coming up empty with anykind of word

    ReplyDelete
  86. @Candi: There's one in each word - try googling you should find a list of them

    ReplyDelete
  87. I did that too s-t, started with d but get no proper word, so I'm going wrong somewhere. Can I use a "lifeline" or just skip 18 and finish it later on, lol

    ReplyDelete
  88. @rds: More than the text has changed - look at the columns on the right side

    ReplyDelete
  89. Zoran, use your first 2 numbers to find something to google

    ReplyDelete
  90. @Ike: Your D is correct - what did you get for the 2nd letter

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Zoran: you are looking for the answer to 21. The text says that S and T are probably BA so I would look at what S and T have to offer to help with BA.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Candi, this site helped me

    http://www.espressoenglish.net/silent-letters-in-english-from-a-to-z/

    ReplyDelete
  93. Great riddle. I already gave it 5 stars but now totally stuck on 20.
How to use the same method?

    ReplyDelete
  94. dutchie, you can count on the text to help ;)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Still stuck on 18 as well. I get the clue, I just don't know where I'm supposed to start with it. If I start at "Code" I get a granny-unfriendly pile starting with DER, if I start at "Level" I get a granny-unfriendly pile starting with VED. :[

    ReplyDelete
  96. xaq,
It's not an angram and it should start with DEL

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks a lot Donas. On 21 now.

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Cee Bee, it would be an E or an M, not sure how to interpret the digits and if I should count from start or move on.

    ReplyDelete
  99. S,T,ST,19,20,21,BA, make me totally confused and frustrated. So, I am so stupid or I am overseeing something the whole time.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Zoran: Go back to 19 and 20 to find what to google to get your answer.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Zoran,
On Prequel 2, level 2 it was 1+2=3
And you used that to get your answer for 3.
Now it's a little bit more difficult, becasue you need to Google the two words you have.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I'm with RDS at the moment- blankly staring at changes on level 22

    ReplyDelete
  103. Enzed,
Take a very good look at the columns on the middle right.

    ReplyDelete
  104. still not making any progress, nothing obvious but the wording on 22

    ReplyDelete
  105. Ike:P Did you see S-T's comment at 11:08 for lvl 18? Have you got it yet?

    ReplyDelete
  106. I've just come back for more torture, lol.
LEVEL 13 HINT FOR MAC USERS: Control + A on a PC becomes Command +A on a Mac.

    ReplyDelete
  107. thanks ST- I see the changes but wonder where to go- do we need to get Samuel involved?

    ReplyDelete
  108. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  109. that was nasty- onto 23!

    ReplyDelete
  110. @ Cee Bee, sorry I simply don't get it

    ReplyDelete
  111. @CeeBee and @donas727:

Huzzah! Y'all just saved my sanity :)

    ReplyDelete
  112. @Ike: I'm thinking of how to help without breaking rules and spoiling........... you are using a number to pick your letters, correct?

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Ike: the number is well known and is indicated by the pic on the level

Pick letters in a very basic way from each word in the text on the level including the title

    Hope that helps

    ReplyDelete
  114. @Cee Bee, yes I do, but as I said earlier you can read e.g. 26 as 2 and 6 or 26. Moreover, do I count from the beginning or where I left when I get a letter.
What did I even think starting this riddle, lol

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ike: If you have the right number it has nine digits - there are nine words in the text, pick a letter from each word

    ReplyDelete
  116. o,o, making it more difficult than it was. Thanks Cee Bee saw the light just now !

    ReplyDelete
  117. On lvl 22, i keep getting 3 same letters from the columns. what to do with them?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Wow. I just COMPLETELY BS'd the answer to level 18 off of ST's clue. Not sure how I did it, but not even gonna complain.

    On to 19!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Zoran, you need a total of 14 letters for 22

    ReplyDelete
  120. I do have 14 letters but they keep repeating themselves and it looks pretty weird and confusing

    ReplyDelete
  121. Zoran,
Shouldn't be the same letters. In fact it's not an anagram
4 letters in the first column, 5 in the second and 5 in the third.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I expressed myself poorly. I have exactly what you said and my mind is blank at this point

    ReplyDelete
  123. Zoran,
    Don't use the white spaces!
    Use the black parts.
    Should start with S

    ReplyDelete
  124. any on or passed 23 that can point me in the right direction?

    ReplyDelete
  125. I'm stuck on lvl 25, need a hint please

    ReplyDelete
  126. @rds: the words should look familiar, go back and find them

    ReplyDelete
  127. rds, for 23, have you seen those words before? find them and use what you find with them, but remember, there are 2 species

    ReplyDelete
  128. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I haven't found the egg on 25 - I don't know how to begin :(

    ReplyDelete
  130. CeeBee, have you found the word for what might be an egg? If so, use it with something in the pic for a rebus

    ReplyDelete
  131. for 25, try using the time for letters

    ReplyDelete
  132. I've been trying to use the time for letters ............. can't find how.

    ReplyDelete
  133. thank you cee bee, will look now

    ReplyDelete
  134. Zoran, have you seen those words before? find them and get their number to start

    ReplyDelete
  135. For lvl 20 do I need lvl 19 or just look in the text itself?

    ReplyDelete
  136. Ike: Donas gave a great clue at 11:02 about what to do with lvl 20

    ReplyDelete
  137. have numbers for 23, but cant make anything out of it, what am i missing or overlooking?

    ReplyDelete
  138. rds, remember there are 2 species, so you need 2 methods, both are simple

    ReplyDelete
  139. Did see that clue Cee Bee, but counting is my worst enemy since lvl 18 as you noticed. But will keep struggling.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hi! stuck in lvl 9 I cannot get this refers to five, I try to choose letters of the text in many ways, but none is correct, help me? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  141. pichi, read "eyes" as the letter i

    ReplyDelete
  142. Yes Donas I knew that but I did not understand him. and then?

    ReplyDelete
  143. pici, find all the letter i, there are 5, and look at the letter before each i

    ReplyDelete
  144. zoran did you make any progress? i am not getting anywhere, i have the numbers and tried counting and not getting anywhere

    ReplyDelete
  145. Thanks Donas! Now I understand, I did not have one that is not in the text

    ReplyDelete
  146. rds665,
One method is very very basic.
    Other method is basic.
No anagram if you keep the order of the pic.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @rds665 no any progress. I am still nowhere.

    ReplyDelete
  148. almost midnight here, enough for today, continue tomorrow. Good luck to you all !

    ReplyDelete
  149. Stuck in lvl 11
I can not know what is in the pic, help me

    ReplyDelete
  150. Pichi,
You know that cipher. You have seen it in more riddles.
    P..P..

    ReplyDelete
  151. Good night to all. See you tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @small-tool, I left the game earlier and now I can't get back in by typing any of the answers that worked before. Has anyone else mentioned this problem???

    ReplyDelete
  153. Zoz,
Answers only work in a certain section.
After a redirect it's another url and there the old answers don't work.
Btw. bookmarking pages is not a bad idea. On some levels you might have to go back to find info for a new level.

    ReplyDelete
  154. i must be really dumb or really tired, i cannot get past 23 even with your hints s-t, i cant make any words of the numbers at all.

    ReplyDelete
  155. rds665,
Sometimes it's just as easy as 1=A etc.
And in the Prequels you've also learned you can use numbers to pick letters.

    ReplyDelete
  156. i have tried that s-t, I must be picking from the wrong words or something.

    ReplyDelete
  157. @rds: Don't forget to leave your words in the same order as the pic in the level, just group them to do the letter picking

    ReplyDelete
  158. omg, i finally got it s-t thank you

    ReplyDelete
  159. Lvl 27 - I know what all the pics are and have tried answers/googling with what I found without success - can someone give me another hint please

    ReplyDelete
  160. @Cee Bee: the top two tell you what you are looking for.

    ReplyDelete
  161. A hint for 25 please. The only time i can tell is that it's bedtime for me. I will probably have a nightmare with clocks hunting me, throwing ROTten eggs but i will be back tomorrow (=today)

    ReplyDelete
  162. Dutchie,
The clocks will give you 6 letters (no anagram)
And with that word as hint you have to think rebus style.
I'm afraid it's very English, but you will get there.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I was catching up until I got to level 22, when you say look at the columns on the middle right, are you talking about under the heading TOH 3aAaer monoAekb? If so, i see 4 columns there but can't make out anything even with a magnifier, so I have no clue what to do next.

    ReplyDelete
  164. @c0f: I had the same problem. If you look VERY closely there are 4 lines in column 1 and 5 lines in the next 2 that have been changed. The blurry blobs are short (dot) or long (dash) and you know what to do with dots & dashes............... :)

    ReplyDelete
  165. Okay, ty for replying Cee Bee, it is just too blurry for me even if I try to magnify it by 2 or 3 times. This was fun up until this level. Thanks for the riddle game Small Tool, some great ideas!

    ReplyDelete
  166. Level 25, I have a word but no idea how to apply it.

    ReplyDelete
  167. anyone able to help on 26, not sure what i am looking for

    ReplyDelete
  168. So obvious.........after you get it.

    ReplyDelete
  169. for 26: google first ,at least thats what i did LOL

    ReplyDelete
  170. rds, don't let Small taunt you like that! google it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  171. Level 26. Am I making a maze?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Lin, not a maze as such, but you do need to find steps to follow, google what Small-tool said to find them

    ReplyDelete
  173. Lin, if you found whats needed from googling you just have to follow what it says

    ReplyDelete
  174. how do you follow the song? it doesnt make much sense?

    ReplyDelete
  175. rds665,
There's a line in the lyrics (part of it is the title) and that keeps repeating). Use that as directions to walk the grid.

    ReplyDelete
  176. i guess i am confused as to which one direction is which, have tried all sorts of ways and am still not coming up with any thing.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Forward is going right (just like you write).

    ReplyDelete
  178. giving up for the night, i am still not making any progress, tried going step by step but not getting any results if anyone could leave a big hint on 26 as to what i am looking for i would really appreciate it.

    ReplyDelete
  179. I"m back, stuck on level 13, have the sentence and hidden words but don't know what do with it.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I felt like a boss when I got 26, but now I'm stuck on 27.

I know who the first person is.
I know what he did in that year.
I know who the other people are.

I have no idea of how to relate these things. I've tried counting things. I've tried picking letters...
