Good gracious - got the colours first time
very easy this time
I struggled a bit but done
Cld anyone please explain the "rules" or the "dos & don'ts" with the color blocks? I'd be so grateful

each 2 blocks with same colour have to be connected with 2 lines or less. the light gray squares are empty ( not blocks).

top right corner of the picture is fiddly. Two light blue patches and one of them needs turning!
I can't stand it when you say the color blocks were easy and I have tried to do them a million times. I can't get the top left orange and pink colors to go away! ppfffffff
Of course....as soon as I posted that, I got it!
Solve
take top right blue and the one left /down of it
2 greys under yellow
the Yellows, right and under black
2 blues under other black
all whites
2 greys
4 greens
2 pinks pointing inward, then the rest of them
2 greys
top left and middle orange, then 2 right ones
last blues

Nokra's spoiler should enable you to solve the color block puzzle, but if not, here's another of several ways to do it. Label the rows from top to bottom as A - E, and number the columns across the top as 1 - 7. Click the following sequence:
blue-D2/E2, white-D1/D3, white-E3/E4, grey-B5/C5, grey-C3/E5, green-C1/D4, yellow-A5/C4, green-B3/C6, yellow-A3/B4, pink-D6/E6, orange-D5/C7, pink-D7/B1, pink-A2/B2, blue-B6/E1, orange-A1/E7
