Very interesting so far.
I'm not sure what some of these brown things I'm collecting are, but they fit neatly into the wheel to the left of the first room. The black line shapes go onto the spider-web wheel in the third room to the right, but I'm not sure of the order yet - perhaps something to do with the number of strokes used to make the shapes?
Gems go on the grid in the far left room (of course, I don't know how yet!).
Clicked randomly on the little number safe in the room with the picture of the blue bed, and go a red gem. I think the code was 123.
Same code for the safe in the room with the green sofa and the spider-web thing.
Basically, click everywhere and under everything to find stuff all over the place! I'm baffled by some of the puzzles. Hope to come back and find lots of clues here - bound to be SD number of hints (unless I'm just a dunce!).
Connecting broken red wire in far left room and turning switch puts light on to reveal clue on floor for colour button puzzle in room with picture of blue bed (breathe!).
Gives blue triangle.
A very odd thing - when I added the gems to the grid in the big empty hall, the red ones multiplied in the inventory as I took them, until I filled all the remaining spaces on the grid with them. It could have gone further if there had been more spaces. Glitch? I took them all back again, and the inventory just said I had two.
Lonely here - off to prepare a talk that I've been putting off!
Found the clue for placing the gems by using the knife on the dark painting in the room with the fancy door. I am missing two blue gems though.....
don't ask me where I found the torch, but with this you can find the shapes on the walls for the round puzzle in the very right room
If you shine a flashlight every time you move a painting you get the code for a puzzle
there are some gems on hidden walls that turn green once you click there. There is one on the right wall in the room with the wire puzzle and one with the gem puzzle (the large one with tiles)
also a key if you shine your light in the room all the way on the right. To the bottom left of the puzzle
seems the flashlight (torch) finds a lot of hidden things ;)

ok,found my second blue gem on the right wall in the same room where we use them
see Rolands hint for the last blue gem. Some random clicking did it for me in the room with the "spiderweb" puzzle

Thanks for the flashlight - I thought it was a spare keyhole! Still looking for the hemi-sphere that belongs to number 8 on the spider web.
Got all the back pics for the number wheel - just need 2nd paper clue to solve it.
when noticed once you can see where to use flashlight. E.g. in room with bench and table there is a very faint "white/grey" rectabgle on the wall on the left side.
I found the hemisphere not long ago. I think it was in the far right room. Press a button near top right.

me too Clodagh. There's a couple of shapes in room with dark painting - one in a door panel and crown over the door
Can't get rid of the third torch on my cursor, and can't click the navigation arrows to go anywhere. I can't believe that after all this effort I'm going to have to crash out of the game - it's not fair!
Just found another key to left of sofa. Use torch. Room with numbers/black pic puzzle
Use that flashlight in EVERY room EVERYwhere, lol! Found a few things by checking in each room to make sure I had pressed all the red and white buttons...look closely on the walls, those white buttons are tiny! Both of the three-digit codes are 123, for whatever reason.
And with that, got 2nd clue paper for numbers/black pics

Finally found all of the brown symbols. If you look closely you can see a very faint rectangle shape in all of the spots you're supposed to use the flashlight. Sorry can't remember all the spots.

The toughest two for me were above the fancy door with the gem puzzle hint and the sofa picture room to the right of the symbol hint. Hope that helps someone

Ooh blimey Pete. Sorry, I've been trapped in this game for ages and can't remember exactly. I think Clodagh (gawd bless her) left a clue for it. Used the knife?

Aha! In the room with the big door on the right, there is a painting in the shadows on the left. Use the knife there!
And knife gives clue for gems.
Got red triangle from gems.

I found the top three brown pieces using the flashlight one was over the fancy door and I think one was in room with broken sofa

Ok, thanks, Alexis, got the one over the door with your help! But I think I've already got the ones from the sofa room. I counted three areas there to put the flashlight on.
Found one brown piece in the room with the table underneath the big window. Shine flashlight to left of window kind of where the red button is.

Where is the 2nd piece of paper for the numbers/spider web clue? I'm going mad looking everywhere. I have all the pieces and the first paper with 1-5 on it.. Please, don't leave me here to die alone! lol

Use the flashlight on the top trunk in the room with the number puzzle to get a key which is used on the bottom drawer of the triangle chest to get that second paper.
Walkthrough part 1.
Rooms from left to right:
1. exit-door.
2. hall/brown panel for gems.
3. canape picture
4. brown shield
5. dots shield.
6. black door/panel for gems-clue.
7. sunny window
8. chair/grey symbols shield.
9. cellar/4 lines-symbols shield.
In general: click all 4 paintings. You need the torch there.
bp = brown piece, s. = symbol (grey dots).
1. bp behind panel near 3 flowers, red wire needed (gives clue for dots shield in 5).
2. bp left wall, s. up left, up right. Blue gem right wall (turns green).
3. bp red dots, white gem on floor, s. up right.
4. s. left wall, right of painting, knife and white gem on left benches.
bp in black spot on the floor, at 2nd lamp at the right.
5. red wire on the floor. bp behind square piece at the right.
3-number code (123) gives red gem.
6. two bp visible near door, 1 behind a door-panel, 1 in black rectangle, 1 in other black spot up high. Torch on the floor. s. below-right of window.
7. key, bp red button, s. grey button.
8. bp on the floor, in 2-red buttons. orange gem in square on the floor, key. s. left of chair. number code (123) gives red gem. blue gem in right wall (turns green). Grey key using torch upon trunks.
9. bp left red button, left wall, behind grey panel right wall, s. grey dots at the wall (in the middle, and up right corner of wooden panel). Grey key using torch leftish under left wooden panel.
More using of torch finding brown pieces.

Walkthrough part 2.
Golden keys open upper drawers in 1 and 3 for green gems.
Wire piece in 1 (click switch too) shows clue on the floor, used in 5 for blue triangle.
Use knife in 6 on left black panel, click red dot, shows clue for placing gems in 2, gives red triangle.
Grey keys open lower drawers in 1 and 3 for papers for grey circle in 8, gives pink triangle.
(You don't have to change the numbers, just make the combinations).
Place brown pieces on shield in 4 gives dark-red triangle.
Drag torch to part next to flower pic in 1 for high vertical line of symbol-circle in 9.
Drag torch to middle of screen in 3 for right horizontal line.
Drag torch to middle of screen in 4 for low vertical line.
Drag torch to middle of screen in 5 for left horizontal line.
The good thing is: if you did it correctly you can't change them.
Rightly done = yellow triangle.
Place the triangles in upper drawer in 3 = key for exit-door.
I cant find the candle BP. Anyone remember where that one is?

Don't get grey keys last. I found a bug with that. Torch worked in room 8 but grey key didn't appear. Had to use walkthrough for symbol combination.
