ReplyDeleteOoooo Indeed. Just wait five minutes for the ads to finish and we'll get started!
ReplyDeleteI add some 'OOo's..
ReplyDeleteGot pink glasses and matches in a room rightish (you can see I don't have the map)
ReplyDeleteI've entered the clue from the book onto the piano, but not sure yet what that did.
ReplyDeleteYes, no map or orb collector yet.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, piano code gives yellow star in room below.
ReplyDeleteIt's a portal!
ReplyDeleteHa - what's with all the old tv's on the furniture - lol!
ReplyDeletePiano-code mentioned above by Clodagh is
ReplyDeleteSPOILERadbcdbaeSPOILER

ReplyDeleteHas anyone found map or an orb collector yet? I have a key and a yellow gem, but not a clue where I am!
ReplyDeleteHaven'T found too much when went through portal, only an anagram clue in a drawer
ReplyDeleteClue is
SPOILERiangerSPOILER deanagramed...
Zoe, light the fire in one of the first rooms with the matches in one of the nearby rooms (sorry, no map yet), and I think that's where you get the book. Look at it back and forth with the tinted specs.
ReplyDeleteI think the code where the piano?
ReplyDelete'deanagramed' Escapism! It's 'bebulbed' all over again - that's the spirit!
ReplyDeleteNope, Clodagh, you seem to be way ahead of me, don't have a key or a yellow gem. And no map or orb collector too...
ReplyDeleteWho's the babe in black? (think I bought her a drink last Friday)
ReplyDeleteThe box for the anagram is not far away, Escapism.
ReplyDeleteYep, Clodagh, i thought of bebulbed when I wrote this... :-)
ReplyDeleteGot a bottle of holy water to fight the evil thing when I went up through the portal again. It was on the table with loads of glasses.
Ha ha Shann! Give her a special drink from off the dining table - she has a very deep voice!
ReplyDeleteA map, a map - my sanity for a map! And somewhere to use the silver key.
ReplyDeleteThanks, clodagh, will watch out for it. Got a silver key from fighting Shanns latest date..
ReplyDeleteSpoiler AINGER=REGAIN spoiler
ReplyDeleteThat's what happened last time I bought her a drink. Woe is me!

ReplyDeletestill lookig for pik glasses.
ReplyDeleteSorr, keboard are skippig soe letters.
Shann: LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks Clodagh.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the key?
ReplyDeleteIn the big picture in the room where the sacred jar was is a 7 digit hint that doesn't work in next room with destroyed slot machines.
ReplyDeleteflash crashed, not gonna restart
ReplyDeleteThe glasses are in room 1 left and 1 down from main staircase
ReplyDeleteIhave a book anda matches. Wheres is the code?
ReplyDeleteJen: you get key when you have fought the monster with the holy water
ReplyDeleteCa't go left ad dow fro staircase. %$%$ keboard
ReplyDeleteEscapism, is the place to use the silver key near the swimming pool then?
ReplyDeleteJulia - flick through the book with the glasses on - gives code for piano.
ReplyDeleteescapism - try alphabetic
ReplyDeleteNope, clodagh, it's right, down, right from the position where the star is. Sorry, did write it wrong above, will delete comment immediately.
ReplyDeleteAha - found silver-key-door - thanks Escapism - I missed that view!
ReplyDeletepls tell were are glasses.
ReplyDeleteHave a wand - use 7-digit number alphabetically
ReplyDeleteTry the magic wand in pool, another portal opens.
ReplyDeleteDone some more magic with my new wand.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about melting-mindz but these games always melt my laptop!
got it. tks.
ReplyDeleteGo through blue portal and buy map, on map is red key.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS SHANN!! Got wand now too.
ReplyDeleteGot a map now too. Phew, that was really late.
ReplyDeleteI have a holy water but where's the glasses?
ReplyDeleteI also bought the scroll but the 2 seem to be the same ???
ReplyDeleteSanity restored, mapwise. Still in an asylum though, ironically.
ReplyDeleteFlipping levers now in the O-Z levels...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great birthday present to me! Thanks SelfDefiant! :D
ReplyDeleteBlue key in Y
ReplyDeleteJulia, I think the glasses were in one of the first rooms - sorry, so difficult to pinpoint it as we've only just got the map.
ReplyDeleteRed key is on the map.
ReplyDeletePlumber used in Y for blue key.
ReplyDeleteOK - blue portal - scroll now different!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Got enough orbs to buy the Crystal. Now I can travel faster than light!
ReplyDeleteCan't draw lines on the map. Still don't know where I've been!
ReplyDeleteWeeeee - watch Escapism go!
ReplyDeleteGreen key in P after flipping all the levers.
ReplyDeleteEek! Another evil creature in Z, and I run out of holy water!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the cross from room i helps...
ReplyDeleteCross in I.
ReplyDeleteYep, Z-creature doesn't like i-crosses... ;-)
ReplyDeleteIn green star area now!
Jammed door in AX
ReplyDeleteOh no, I've got to go now - till later, friends!
ReplyDeleteHint in AQ with squares...
ReplyDeleteDid anybody find a SD ? I need it !
ReplyDeleteBye, Clodagh, gotta go soon too, that's why I leave so many breadcrumbs...
ReplyDeleteCrowbar in AO
ReplyDeleteflashlight behind jammed door in AX
ReplyDeleteZazie, think you might need a crowbar instead?
ReplyDeletewhite gem in AW after using hint from AQ
ReplyDeleteToo bad, gotta go too. :-(
ReplyDeleteGood luck and have fun to all!
Crowbar in AO
ReplyDeletestarting.....
ReplyDeleteuse flashlight in D for gold key
ReplyDeleteWhite gem in AE
ReplyDeleteSorry in AW !
ReplyDeleteescapism, in AF is also a jammed door and my crowbar is gone now.
ReplyDeleteIn N use glasses for another piano code.
ReplyDeletethis is still going on? I am always late for these!! Why o' why did I start working in the garden?
ReplyDeleteSecond piano in M gives purple gem
ReplyDeletecant even find the glasses.
ReplyDeletePOP maybe i should clean MY glasses..lol .found them
ReplyDeleteAnother piano in M. No cllue. Tried the other clue backwards and forwards - nope.
ReplyDeleteLooking everywhere for a SD !
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Zazie - didn't think to use the glasses in N!!
ReplyDeleteRed gem in S, use flashlight.
ReplyDeletePurple key in U (Flashlight)
ReplyDeleteYep, need a SD for room AP
ReplyDeleteFinally !! SD in AR !
ReplyDeletepurple key is in T, not U.
ReplyDeleteSD was in AR, I believe
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThere's a color code in R, but don't know where to use it...
ReplyDeleteBlue gem in AP, use SD.
ReplyDeleteI have 6 gems, missing blue I believe...
ReplyDeleteAlso 6 gems, missing orange I guess
ReplyDeleteOrange gem in AF
ReplyDeleteMissing green gem lol, any hints ?
ReplyDeleteCode please for 7 numbers ?
ReplyDeleteAnyone know where the gold key is? Or what to do with the balls in R?
ReplyDeleteOrange gem in AF
ReplyDeleteWhat with the 4 coloured balls in R ?
ReplyDeletelotjemar - in room AD is a picture on the wall, click on it and read the comments for the numbers. then take the first letter of each item and put them in alphabetical order for the number
ReplyDeleteCode is on the big picture with horse in front. alphabetically to use.
ReplyDelete7-digit number spoiler:
ReplyDelete3576183
I have no mape Zoe
ReplyDeleteThanks Zoe
ReplyDeleteStill no green gem...
ReplyDeleteZazie, wear the red glasses in room before the colored balls
ReplyDeleteOh thx J !!! I will try.
ReplyDeleteHuh, well... Now that I finally got some orientation within this... thing... I'm out...
ReplyDeleteCan't get back AN where the purple key goes. I'm totally lost
ReplyDeleteThanks J!!!!! Going to get out now, I think!
ReplyDeleteCan some one help me? I need to get to the AN section.
ReplyDeleteI am out !! Thx J for the green gem !
ReplyDeleteSuper game :-)
Where to put the stones once I have all 6?
ReplyDeleteWhy do we have two maps that do the exact same thing?
ReplyDeleteWhere's is AN? Help!
ReplyDeleteI must leave, i am way too late, sorry.
ReplyDeleteCathy717 you get to the AN section which is through the green portal. You get to the green portal through the light blue portal in G
ReplyDeleteYay! I found it. X
ReplyDeletewhat room does the orange gem go ?
ReplyDeleteBye Zazie - thanks for all the great help!!!
POP found it - it goes into AG.
ReplyDeleteI'm out!
I've got nowhere to put gems, what am I missing here?
ReplyDeleteExcellent game Selfdefiant! Thanks so much !
ReplyDeleteUnknown - once you have all 7 gems, places open up in various rooms to put the gems on the walls. I'm very sorry, I did not write down what rooms, but I do remember that the orange gem goes into room AG...then once you've placed all the gems, go back to the start screen and go down to the "special" doors and you are out.
ReplyDelete7 gems? I thought there was 6
ReplyDelete45 minutes! This was awesome!!! Thanks for the hint about the orange gem.
ReplyDeleteHELP me please I can't find where the silver key goes & can't find the orb jar
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone remember where yellow gem goes? I feel like I have been "touring" the place for an hour now. lol
ReplyDeleteIf you can't collect orbs, how do you buy a map? Where is this famous orb collector? Very frustrating running around in circles and can't do anything.
ReplyDeleteFound it an AN
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteS/D anyone?
"Found it an AN" answers which question? And how do we know where AN is if we don't have a map?
ReplyDeleteOkay, this is not the asylum games of old. Very obscure and random clicking. The book isn't clear (I don't read gibberish), the hiding places are very remote, etc. It's just another of the same old, same old. Sorry, but too busy for randomness. Try again please!
ReplyDeleteokay, you get the green orb jar AFTER using the silver key. The orb jar is in a room that has a huge painting on the wall, a toy horse, and two doll houses. This SD game is really frustrating.
ReplyDeleteif we can't get the map until AFTER going through the blue portal, how do we go through the blue portal? It does no good to give room letters if we don't have the map yet.
ReplyDeleteIs there a reason that we have to buy two of the same maps? when buying the second map it says it should allow us to draw on the map???? I was never able to draw on the map which made the game very confusing. I was a lot of going around in circles. to future players, make sure and draw your own map!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Fantastic game! Thanks SD and thanks Viktor for the walkthrough cs I was stuck with blue gem
ReplyDeleteGet magic wand after using 7-digit number, which is in alphabetical order corresponding to the items with the numbers: 3 birds, 5 clouds, 7 fox, etc. The item/number description is in the big picture on the wall in the room with the toy horse and two doll houses.
ReplyDeleteThe magic wand is used in the 2nd room with the pool to get a purple portal AND in the room with the TVs to get a blue portal.
ReplyDeleteAfter going through the blue portal you will find a plunger somewhere (sorry, forgot which room) to use on the dirty/nasty toilet to get a blue key.
ReplyDeleteAfter you go through the purple portal you can buy stuff with your orbs including the MAP!
ReplyDeleteI can't find the dealer to buy map and so. Have been through blue portal up and down....
ReplyDeleteRington: we never have to translate giberish in these games - use the red glasses to read the book
ReplyDeleteThat was tough, but a really great game!
ReplyDeleteOut...and tired...Great game today!
ReplyDeleteThis is an old one...?
ReplyDeleteThe game is not old, but some of the rooms have been used before in other games. Creepy, but still fun!
ReplyDeleteHad to take a break - back now. Green portal in Z after using Cross for creature.
ReplyDeleteLOL can of Foster's in AR!
ReplyDeleteMan this was huge! Took 1 1/2 hour but out.
ReplyDeletePuzzle clue in AQ is using black lines, not red.
ReplyDeleteUse crowbar in AW for flashlight.
ReplyDeleteClue in O for colored balls in R, click them in that order.
ReplyDeletePurple key is in T under bed, use flashlight.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Loved every 65 minutes of it!
ReplyDeleteOnly need to place white gem, then can go out.
ReplyDeleteFinally! Place white gem in X. Now to find the exit door. Hours and hours to finish this "game".
ReplyDeleteThanks again for a great game SD
ReplyDeletewhere is the support of the yellow gem?
ReplyDeletehow many levers are there? I found 5.
ReplyDeletestuck with blue and yellow gem need to place.
ReplyDeleteblue and yellow gems go in:
ReplyDelete青い宝石は"E"となったとき
黄色の宝石"AN"となったとき
I hate deeply this navigation with portals and the maps
ReplyDeleteIt makes me crazy
Sorry
I want a refund for the "scroll" that was just another map. I can write notes on actual scratch paper in the real world. lol. Wish I had taken notes on where the screwdriver was needed. By the time I had it, I'd forgotten.
ReplyDeleteThe multiple-world idea was cool, kind of like the original Myst. The reuse of old scenes had me looking in the places where SD had hidden things before!
That game was EPIC!!!
ReplyDeleteTune that piano! It's BAAADDD
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is still here: Where are the glasses?
ReplyDeleteAs always, a great game, this time it was monumental. Thank you SelfDefiant, your games never disappoint!
ReplyDeleteKudos to SD for attempting such an involved game, but major FAIL for
ReplyDelete1) Not being able to see the ENTIRE map at one time. I've had it with trying to figure out which is in the yellow star, or purple star, or blue star... I want to see the entire house or mansion at one time as we always do, especially now that I have the globe to move around.
2) Can't write on the map or scroll, so what is the purpose of the scroll?
At this point I'm just going in circles. Can't find the SD and can't remember where it was needed. Don't know where to use the cross. Tying to find the green door.
Come one Self Defiant, put the entire map in one location and let us write clues on it!
I'll try again tomorrow...
1 star, if your have use collect orbs make it more accessible... my patience ran out.
ReplyDeletePink glasses are one right and one down from main staircase. It always amazes me how many people get right and left mixed up. Makes a huge difference when people are trying to read your hints.
ReplyDeleteThe dealer is located through the purple star portal in the swimming pool, not the blue star portal.
ReplyDeleteLOVED IT!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you SD!
This kept me busy for an hour or so. Enjoyed every minute.
lilrascal, the green door is up from room W (through the blue portal).
ReplyDeleteThe cross is used in room Z (through blue portal and green door) which will give you access to the green portal.
The screwdriver is in AR (through the green portal).
It is used in AP (also in the green portal)
and in AF (through the yellow portal).
WHAT AN AWESOME GAME!!! All those twists and portals!!! Took me a WHILE and I needed help on a few things, so thanx to all the comments above. Great game, SD!! Thanx!
ReplyDeleteThis was excellent! But too long. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm quite lost and stuck. I think that I have all the keys, but only 4 gems : yellow, white, blue and red.
ReplyDeleteI can't see a hint for the piano in room M. And what about the coloured balls in R ?
@pdgph for hint balls use glasses in O
ReplyDeleteand for piano in M use glasses in N
Thank you Seb !
ReplyDeleteSorry. First the first time I'm giving up on an SD game. This one is just too frustrating. Too long running all over without a map or way to collect orbs. Too many empty rooms that serve no purpose but orb collection, but you have to pixel hunt every single one just to be sure. Too much back and forth and back and forth having to run through every room multiple times over. When I opened the cabinet and found a flashlight, meaning I;d have to go back and search ALL the rooms AGAIN... I quit there and then. Puzzles are fun. Endless repetition is not.
ReplyDeleteI'm already stuck and think I might cry if I have to go around for the 20th time :(
ReplyDeleteThis one was a bit more difficult because of portals but easier than the games with "blind" maps without letters.
ReplyDeleteStarting to get really ticked off at these games lately. First off, Melting Minds site has two little box ads under the game that just start up and keep playing. Sometimes at the same time. Lately you have to run around for twenty minutes just to find a map and get the orb jar. This adds a ton of time to the game and takes alot of the enjoyment out of it as you have to go back through to get the orbs. Right now as I write this two ads are simultaneously screaming about a car deal. Disappointed in SD
ReplyDeleteOh woe... I need to find the swimming pool again to use the wand and find the map. But I can't seem to find the pool again. Need a map...
ReplyDeleteAnd pop. It's in the room below the yellow portal (not through the portal).
ReplyDeleteArrrgh! Now the map is stuck to my cursor. I can't buy it or put it back down.
ReplyDeletePhew. Got rid of it.
ReplyDeleteFirst time ever, I'm giving up on an SD game. Too confused. People writing things about room P, O etc. One of my maps goes up to N and the other has double letters. Going round and round and out of my mind. It's like a madhouse in there! ;)
ReplyDeleteI thought the game was fantastic, it had everything, well done SD.
ReplyDeleteIf I was to have one small criticism then it would be that I spent too long searching rooms to discover there were a lot of just empty rooms. Otherwise it is up there with the best. 9 ¾ / 10
Not too difficult once it was pointed out (sorry, forget who said it) that the stars were portals. That was the only help I needed. Loved the game - thank you!
ReplyDeleteHalf an hour
