[REPLAY] [WEB/DOWNLOAD] Escape from JiG (JayIsGames) is another premium quality point & click room escape game developed by Mateusz Skutnik for JayIsGames and hosted on Itch.io (download), who is also the creator of the famous Submachine games. In this game, your main goal is in essence to get out of a weird room filled with old arcade machines, strange computers and what appears to be some kind of alien hooked to a virtual reality headset. To do that, you must gather useful objects and use them in ingenious ways. Good luck and have fun! ☺

  1. Yeehaw! Started it already over at Jay's, but the comments there are not very helpful. Like to play it with you fellow EG24 people!

  2. Got a few minutes left, so I'll try to help. But if you didn't make it at Jay's, I don't know if I'm the one to shine on...

  3. Hi escapism, i am already stuck with 6 papers, used chalk on stain on numbers board, have broom, knife and a nail, now what ? And no idea for the 5# code (there is 731 written on a machine)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Already been playing it as well escapism, and stuck lol. Got 6 pictures, pristine nail, knife, valve, reptilian hand and reptilian leg...

    ReplyDelete

  7. Zazie: I'm trying to figure out that 5 no's code right now, but haven't made it, so I can't give hints on that.

  8. Activated a secondary defense system, but don't know what that means.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Used knife on every grey machine but it did nothing and i have a wheel as well. The use of items is so incredibly slow on my PC, is this normal ?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Still don't know what to do with the valve...

And still have knife in inventory.

    Have placed three legs...

    ReplyDelete
  11. The transistor goes on machine (where head phones are), which opens a few places up. Use the broom when you can get outside to get either the arm or leg

    ReplyDelete
  12. Moved lots of levers, but what for ?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Roberto: you are on the right path! Look if you can do more in that view with the secondary defense device...

    ReplyDelete
  14. Got a second mahogany eye. Where to use them?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks escapism I had used the knife on the piggy bank looking thing but it didn't do anything.
Roberto did it open the switches above where you put transistor?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Roberto: in view with large sand pile coming out of a doorway, left up...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Where did you find reptilian leg? Only found the hand.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ah! Thanks escapism. That answer my 2nd question.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Eyes go in the room with more sand than the other rooms lol ;)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Found a second reptilian hand.

  21. Oh man, you guys have things I can only dream of! But start laughing: I played that pong-like game until 23:8 and thought I was doing quite well, then I realised that I was NOT steering the paddles LOL!

I think this game will take its time, so I leave now and try again later. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Where did you find the eyes? I only have one and can't seem to find another. I also have a key, knife, wheel, leg and hand, nail and 5 pieces of paper.

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOL @ meritneith! That is quite fuuny :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. meritneith: LOL!! I think I played until 5:2 or something like that wondering wich paddle I was steering...

    ReplyDelete
  25. On basin scene, there's a shelf on right hand side. Use your key there.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thanks Roberto! I tried the knife there but for some reason didn't try the key. D'uh.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I only can find one eye.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Does anyone know if these games save if I come out of it?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Can't get the last leg, even when I read the wt at Jayisgames! Seems that I'm too stupid for the 5 digit #... :-(

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have put reptil hand on the thing over the door with sand but where is the second hand or leg ?

    ReplyDelete
  31. we can use pristine nail on wall right to the bed to draw a "H", but no effects...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh F?%&! I understood the code- hopefully... Let's see!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ok got leg from putting second eye...but all is moving soooo slowly.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah! Got it. Got fourth leg!

Sorry for not helping with the other stuff, but I don't remember it all.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Out now. Will hang around in case I remember anything and somebody needs hints for the last 4th leg code...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Zazie: did you find the eye under the round hatch already?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I need help with the primary override code. I thought I figured it out, but now I have six numbers and the code is only five, soo... Stuck. :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Unknown: the 5 number code has to do with one of the notes you found (think it was in the book). There are 5 numbers there, one of them 1 digit (the first), the others 2 digit. You need to combine that with something else in that room

    SPOILERthenumbersontheblackboardSPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  39. escapism, I thought I did that right, but maybe I didn't. I'll try again. Should I just discard the first single digit?

    ReplyDelete
  40. By the way: there are some red herrings in that game, don't let them bewilder you...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Unknown: the first digit is really the hint for the first number!

Look at the blackboard. And then

SPOILERHINTyou see that it is a 10x10=100 number patternSPOLIERHINT

  42. Got it! The numbers on note refer to number position on board.
    Out too!

    ReplyDelete
  43. escapism,
thanks! I was thinking too hard (coordinates..)

    ReplyDelete
  44. I restarted and now game works quicker, but i can´t find the nail anymore lol.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Zazie: nail is red herring afaik, so don't try too hard...

    ReplyDelete
  46. nail is in drawer, by the way... ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hmm ok, and my 5 # don´t work either...I had SPOI40223LER.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Unknown: that was the reason why it took me so long to get the code: I tried to think in columns and rows all the time, but this way it is much easier!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Zazie: the blackboard is different in every game, so we can only tell you the way to solve it. Sorry...

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Zazie,

Wasn't the game under the cushions of the bed ?
I found a reptile hand, 5 notes related to the grid with numbers (how ? I don't understand the explanations given in the comments above), a floor brush, a knife (used on a machine to get a key), a valve and a small key. The endless pong-game is getting on my nerves (I hope it's just a red herring).
I don't see any hint for the 5 digit number.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thx escapism, but tell me what should happen when the number is ok ...

    ReplyDelete
  52. And a transistor, on the floor, near one of the game machines.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I am out too ...finally :-)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Another note from a book on a shelf (1st scene), that must give the help for the 5 digit code. But what about the 3 digit number written on the left game machine ?

    ReplyDelete
  55. My key for the round thing was under a pillow on bed, maybe items are at different places in each game.

    ReplyDelete
  56. pdgph: there is a rumour that this might refer to one of the last ubmachine games, that we are now in area 731. But anyway, I would think it is another red herring.

    ReplyDelete
  57. 3# number must be a red herring too.

For 5# code only count the numbers from your paper on the blackboard (1 = first number, 5 = 5th number etc, 58 = ? number=)

    ReplyDelete
  58. pdgph: OK, I'll give a clearer hint bow for the 5 digit number (didn't wanted to spoil it too much):

On the blackboard is a 10x10 grid, the first number is no.1, second no.2 and so on, that makes the numbers from 1 to 100 in that grid. Simply count the numbers from the hint, e.g. number 58, so it is the 58th number on the blackboard (or go to row 6, column 8 to find the number, because first row is row 0!)

    ReplyDelete
  59. I escaped with the help of the video WT !

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ escapism thanks a lot for very good hint

    ReplyDelete
  61. Any hint on where to find right side hand?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ha. Never picked up hand from window!

    ReplyDelete
  63. key under pillows on bed.

    ReplyDelete
  64. About that 3-digit number (731): As far as the game itself is concerned, it is a red herring. But it is a clue that a new area has been added to the Submachine Universe, at the coordinates 7-3-1. If you go there you'll find a circular room with most of the items from this game in it, but arranged somewhat differently. There is no sand/amber and the escape hatch is blocked off at the bottom.

    ReplyDelete
  65. escapism - I hope it is only a rumor that this is the last game! Even though we don't see these very often, they are really great games and hopefully we will see more!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well I came back, and it hadn't saved my game so got to start again :( Nice to see lots of hints though :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Viktor, thank you so much for vid WT.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Don't know if link remains working, so here a written wt.
Well, actually, I just liked doing it.

    Scenes from left to right.

    Chalkboard scene.
click chalkboard, use chalk on stain = symbol.
click book on the shelf, take paper with code that falls out.

    Creature scene.
in drawers find knife and nail. Find 5 pieces of paper, one has a 'strange symbol'.
Below pillows find small key. (nail on the wall gives symbol).
click valve til all three buttons light up, + one more time, valve falls down.

    Sandy scene.
Take valve and brush. Use key to open box on the shelf = eye.

    Computers scene.
Use knife in left computer = gold coin. 1 Computer needs 5 numbers. Down left of this one is a transistor.

strange symbol paper goes together with code paper.
The chalkboard shows numbers from 1 to 100. Start counting from left to right. Number 5 on your paper refers to number ... on the board, no. 58 on the paper = no ... on the board etc. Get your 5 numbers.
go back one scene, place number = panel in computer opens = leg.

Use gold coin in the box next to the creature = hand.
Place transistor upon computer in chalkboard scene, pull handle, click the screen, put the green dots to the left. now you can put the handles up-left in upward position.
    Go right.
the hedge above the creature has opened. Go outside, use brush to take a hand.
Go to computers. The hedge has opened = eye.

    Go to sandy scene.
Place eyes on left wall statue = take a leg.
Place legs and hands on grey not-finished- statue above the sand = place and click the valve.
Keep going down ... apparantly ... eh .... you're out, wherever that may be ...
