    ReplyDelete
  29. Nm, found key hotspot on the table :p

  30. But still...how does the picture open????

    ReplyDelete

  31. understand not indicative donkey minus key, how is the code now, have a tip AIZ26 but what's that all about dsa

    ReplyDelete
  32. and by the way nice choice of music as well Tesshi-e , Thanks again ! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Gina, picture doesnt open.

    marita, Use the clue A=1 Z=26. Picture is donkey minus key = don. D=4 O = ? N=? So code is 4????.

A kofod. If you are talking about code for happy coin, yes it starts with 3, then you need O=? i =? n=?

    ReplyDelete
  34. quick one today. The mailbox code is the letter numbers for D O N
And the happy coin is the letter numbers for C O I N.
The clue is A 1 Z 26 hope that helps.
Also you need to click the window in the mailbox after the right code is entered. And you have to click the coin cover after that number is entered.

  35. If you're still here, the A1Z26 is a hint that the number code follows the pattern A=1, B=2...Z=26. You will use this code twice.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I never did figure out what the little "T" symbol under the picture means, but I didn't need it, so...

    ReplyDelete
  37. How about leaving some hints on what to do after you get knife, key and cut pumpkin in half? That is where I am stuck. can't scoop out pumpkin to fill it with water.

    ReplyDelete
  38. There is a spoon, Evans.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Look at the hippo's mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 4 stars, some comments were misleading, no idea what the code AIZ26 was for it didn't go into any of the puzzles.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @evans Have you gotten the birdie yet? Take a closer look and things should go smoothly from there.

    ReplyDelete
  42. ???

I have no problems in converting COIN to numbers, but this will give a 6-digit code! But the code panel only has room for 5 digits.

Can I get a clue, please?

    ReplyDelete
  43. read "AIZ26" as "A1 ... Z26"

  45. @arbeitslooser Look at Mr. Hippo again.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Iconland The A1 Z26 was a very clear indication that you have to use number for letters or vice versa.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ARGGGH! I should wear a brown paper bag for the rest of the day.

Tried to get the numbers working at the mailbox, oh well ...

    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  48. NOTE: In this game, it pays off to leave WITHOUT the happy coin!! (It's deadly funny, but I won't give away what will happen :P)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Finally I remember that symbol!! The T with the horizontal dash on it DOES mean "mail"!
This is why this symbol is visible if you move the picture out of the way to look what's behind.

Do you remember the games with the moving red mailbox on a strong spring? (Wan + Nyan ??)
Well, there you can find the very same sign. I just could not remember any more.

  50. Won't finish loading in FF or IE. Very slow 1%...2%......3%........4%.............5%....................and then nothing.

Doesn't sound like the typically challenging Tesshi-E anyway, so maybe I am not out much anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Please spoil what to do with the water filled pumpkin. I can't water the plant, what to do?

    ReplyDelete
  52. @myrdlebp. Use the water in the tube on the table, for a ball with key.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh Jeeze! I didn't even see the tube! Thanks Clio!

    ReplyDelete
  54. @arbeitslooser, it is the postal symbol of Japan

    ReplyDelete
  55. Iconland2003 ....Seriously? I mean, seriously?? 1. You rated the game based on comments here. 2. You obviously used comments here to get the codes related to the A1Z26....and yet say you didnt use the A1Z26?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hmmm... first time I hated a Tesshi-puzzle hint so much i stopped playing the game altogether. sorry, dude, but this A-Z hint is just... not your standard. Your hints are way better than that :(

  58. @tautauさん
    ありがとうございました。

I assumed it must be something typical Japanese. :) So it's a "glitch" in some way: had better be replaced in the English version, but let's not be more Catholic than the Pope ;)

    ReplyDelete
  59. When I looked at that I read 1 as an I (as is hij middle letter i capital I) which is confusing, if the author meant 1 it should look like a 1

    ReplyDelete
  60. OK it loaded finally, and I played it. It was not typical Tesshi-E. It was a lot easier, and a lot simpler. Still fun though.

I did not find any glitches, however I do have to agree with iconland that some cultures make the numerals 1 and 7 look similar to eachother and to the capital letter I, and that in this case the numeral 1 could be misinterpreted...but only an idiot (or someone who hasn't ever done escape games before) who sees the "Z26" wouldn't be able to figure it out. That is a 3rd grade clue (again, not very like Tesshi-E).

    ReplyDelete
  61. bio A1 - Z 26 it's not rocket science, just because you don't like the clue doesn't make it a bad game? top marks

    ReplyDelete
