ReplyDeleteFor the puzzle on the left with the dots, add the numbers up. The other two puzzles are relatively easy - multiplying numbers on one, counting numbers in order on the other.

ReplyDeleteI suppose in the meantime.. a bit more detail on the other two puzzles if you can't get them still:
ReplyDeleteshapes - negative space, don't look at what's there but what ISN'T there. Push the first three shapes together.. what does that look like? Then look at the fourth shape.. what would you need to complete the first part and continue on to the next?

ReplyDeleteForgive me, but that still doesn't make sense. First of all, the numbers on the bottom do not correspond to the shapes directly above them, because the first shape (A) is "57" but the negative space looks like an 81.
ReplyDeleteI can see from the negative space that the gray shapes are 88, 89, 40, 41, so I haven't guessed what follows...

ReplyDeleteOkay, I finally figured it out. The number shape is NOT the number you need for the code, you just match it to the numbers below. Sorry, fdbbd2.

Each picture adds one dot, and every new picture the dot added moves either clockwise or counterclockwise. So the first picture has one dot. In the second picture that one dot has moved clockwise and there is a new dot. In the third picture the first dot has moved one more time clockwise, the new dot from the second picture has moved one space counterclockwise, and there is a new dot at the top. I assigned the first dot to appear a 1 and the last dot a 5.

So when you get to the fifth picture there will be five dots which will correspond to the numbers on the panel below: 1, 3, 3, 4, 5, and this adds up to 16, which is the last part of the code.
Middle of code:
3 => 6
5 => 20
6 => 30
7 => XX
8 => 56
Pretty simple, multiply the first number by itself minus 1, so 3 x (3-1) = 6, therefore 7 x (7-1) = 42.
First part of code:
The top silhouettes suggest the numbers 38, 39, 40, 41, ?, so the ? is 42. Match the bottom silhoutte of 42 with it's corresponding number, 32.
So the final code is 324216. Do the puzzle, get the new code, and pull the levers 4x, 3x, 4x.
that was very challenging, but I liked it. couldn't have done the dots one without help though.
