  4. Too easy at 23 sec I didn't like the useless comment page after each find thought that unnecessary just an arrow to next page would have been ok and maybe more Jimmy's to find on each page

  5. Another SD/MMindz not loading in Safari but ok in Chrome/Firefox. Bit dissapointing when it takes longer to load the game than play it.

  9. In case any of you were curious, I have taken the time to identify why it is that selfdefiant games are not loading for some people.

Unsafe redirects, coupled with a demand for a referrer code. This was a trend ten years ago, before browsers gave people the option to send a null referrer code. (Referrer codes are used for tracking purposes. Nowadays tracking is usually done through scripts, so most sites accept null referrer codes.)

If you have a fully secure system with regard to script attacks and privacy protection, you will not be able to load selfdefiant games. By the same token, if you can load selfdefiant games, you are definitely vulnerable to some script attacks and you are absolutely being tracked.

I am 100% sure you have nothing to worry about from selfdefiant or his games, but as the ads come mostly through Google it becomes a question of how much trust you want to place in them as well as the people who advertise through them.

So it is not an AdBlock or NoScript issue, as some of you thought. The good news is that it is an issue which selfdefiant can easily address himself by accepting null referrer codes and using more modern scripting techniques to handle redirects and tracking safely and securely for his users.

  11. No more Ainars games? There haven't been any for a while.

  12. Escape Fan carries Ainars. He was banned from here for representing a reworked game as original.

  16. I enjoyed this game. Thanks. Not sure if I would like any more of the same kind although loads of people would probably disagree with me.

  17. Ah, thanks Lurker, I wondered what had happened to Ainars - figured they'd had some sort of falling out. I still play them, but miss the forum for hints.
