  6. hm, made it to the second floor, but now stuck with hex driver, "parts" and a "bar". reflections of sunlight change when you open and close windows...don´t know if that means something though . need clue for black squares on first floor and "open" puzzle on the second floor...anyone here?

    ReplyDelete
  7. I take that back, hi May!

    ReplyDelete
  8. if you look, the reflection changes because you are opening and closing the windows

    ReplyDelete
  9. right, but do i have to make some sense out of it? and also: what pigeon hole? any hint for the "open" puzzle, please?

    ReplyDelete
  10. still stuck lol ive no idea what to do next

    ReplyDelete
  11. you can't do anything with the black squares until nearly the end...that's the last puzzle you solve before exit

    ReplyDelete
  12. the pigeon holes are on the veranda below you, you'll see when you get there. you definitely have to make sense out of opening and closing the windows -- it solves the puzzle you're looking at. you can open all of them but in a specific way

    ReplyDelete
  13. May -- are you stuck on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd level? Did you find the hex tool and the bar tool? Did you try the hotspot on the floor with one of your tools?

    ReplyDelete
  14. yes, that was my first idea too, but i see now that i forgot counting in one window...DOH!!! thanks, erika :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Erika, could you share where you found the handle please?

    ReplyDelete
  16. No problem Mary :) I'll hang around if you or May have any questions

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh, now it all adds up, the black squares turned into a color code :D

    ReplyDelete
  18. Uzi -- did you flip the on/off switch yet? Can't find the handle until you do that. Apparently it turns on a light somewhere

    ReplyDelete

  23. On the OPEN puzzle, there are five windows. They open top or bottom, and you have to pay attention to the arrow as to what order to tap the buttons.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can only find 2 levels. The one with the opening/closing windows and the one we started on. Have hex, screwdriver and 'parts'. How do i get to the other level please?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I finished the game, but I never found any "parts" that a couple of people mentioned. The only things I found were the pry bar, hex driver, handle, and key.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @SueinSpain, when you correctly press the buttons under the OPEN<---- (remember, there are FIVE windows from right to left), you'll get a red button that opens the way to the 3rd (lowest) floor.

  27. Color by color windows on the floors. Yellow, green and gray like .. Top down ..Nizhny picked. Like the game)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I have only one hex SD and can do nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  29. AHHH the curtains!

Yes they are in a definite color, and there is one 'type' of curtain per floor.
And floors are vertical, when seen from outside, so this should give you guys enough clues how to solve the colors.

  30. Crowbar you mean, tautau...I think it was in the compartment with the OPEN riddle and the plethora of arrows.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Got it and out. A bit over thinking for the arrow clue.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I have only found one veranda and a screwdriver...
    Help please!

  33. OK, since this is supposed to be the place for WTs, here's my
    Reform-Through

Look at both sliding glass doors and note the numbers and their position (red 146 high, green 235 low).
Go to the keypad with arrows (1 ---> 6) and point each arrow in the correct direction.
    Take the pry bar
Go to the picnic table and look in the cubbyhole to the right.
    Take the hex driver
Use the pry bar at the other end of the veranda to open a hole in the floor
    Go down the ladder
Click on each window to see if it opens from the top or bottom.
Note: there are five windows; three in the right scene and two in the left scene where the ladder is.
Open the second window from the left and click on the curtain. Look inside and take the "part" (a handle).
Click on the upper and lower bars under the OPEN<--- sign, then press the red button.
Another trap door opens with a ladder going down to a third level.
There are two cubbyholes in the wall between the sliding glass doors.
Use the hex wrench on the left and flip the switch to "ON".
Use the handle on the right and move it up.
Note the colors of the curtains on this and the higher levels.
On the top level, the three button panel should be activated now. Enter the curtain colors from top to bottom levels.
Take the key and go down to the first level. Use the key on the White double doors with red writing.

    SPOILERS

    arrows: 1,4, & 6 point upwards, 2,3, & 5 point down).
OPEN<---- : down, up, up, up, down
Curtains: grey, green, yellow (top to bottom)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ohhhh, the numbers on the window relate to the arrow puzzle. (They point up or down only)

  35. How could someone ask for help and then just write "Got it and out"? Think about it, especially the next time you need help.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh, that's what I was missing! Finally got the key, with thanx to @Zoz

How could someone ask for help and then just write "Got it and out"?

I hope you don't mind that I'm sending you a little hug your way. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  38. arby - how nice of you to give a hug to zoz - one of the most helpful (not to mention witty) people I've met on EG24! She's right up there with small-tool!! Gotta love our zoz!

  39. Thanks all for help. In fact I finished the game after posting the request for help without further looking the replies. I do not mean to be impolite.

  41. don't worry tautau i got what you meant by you posts just like most others did .. eh ? so simple isn't it ? just don't worry about it , things happen ! ;) ..

    ReplyDelete
  42. TY ZOZ!

Didn't need it, but I really appreciate the effort it took to do the WT for those who do!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Nom nom. Fish, grated Daikon radish and lemon, just like Mom used to make. :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. @tautau, I know you didn't mean to be impolite, and neither did I. My comment was for everyone who asks for help and then posts something like "nvm, got it". Just to make people think before posting.
    No hard feelings, I hope?

@arby and @Zoe and @Esmerelda, thanks so much for the kind words!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Please relax please not for fun

    ReplyDelete
  46. @tautau guess you didn't get it ... I told you where the crowbar is and and instead of "thanks found it" you replied "got it and out".

Whilst it's our kids who we would always tell about the two nice door-openers, called "please" and "thanks".
But if we can't master them ourselves, we are nothing but poor role models.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I had no idea how to do the arrows, thanks for the WT zoz. Now I get it.

    ReplyDelete
  48. caught this one from the random section

thx for all your creations, Neat ☺
& thx zoz for the WT
