I´m in for a while. Solved some of the riddles and puzzles. Grat game as usual.
ReplyDeleteOut now!
ReplyDeleteWhat to do with the eraser?
ReplyDeleteNM, pop.
ReplyDeleteHerpington... please don't do that, just write the answer, there are others out there too, you know...
ReplyDelete!
ReplyDeleteI'm here! Surely will need help.
ReplyDeleteYey! A live TomaTea
ReplyDeleteJust joining as well Meritneith.
ReplyDeleteScreen is a bit on the small side!
Haven't got any clue, and there is nobody to help
ReplyDeleteOk, so it is up to me to ask the above question again: what to do with the eraser?
ReplyDelete(And note to self: Next time Herpington... asks for help, don't help)
Sabi: what do you need?
ReplyDeletekeep a detailed look on collected tiles in your inventory
ReplyDeleteSame as you, rubber and chess figure
ReplyDeleteDid the picture with the King and his red arm shows directions, but don't know where to use it, and same question with the eraser, the chess figurine has something on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteSabi: there are two chess figures... Which one do you have?
ReplyDeletePut head ad limbs of the doll to the left with the red arm like the doll to the right. After that you can click the read arm. Notice the positions like a clock. Look at the underside of the chess figure and make the positions for a screwdriver.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hotzenplotz, never would have thought of looking at them until I haven't got all. Sneaky...
ReplyDeleteSabi the chess figure gives a (so far useless!) screwdriver.
ReplyDeleteYou need both figures for sd
ReplyDeleteuse the directions from the King picture on the chess figurines bottom
ReplyDeleteThe chess figure is the King you'll receive from the drawer with the RL buttons. Clue for that is the bottom of the clock (circles and squares).
ReplyDeleteStuck same as everyone, clock is clue for circle square puzzle.
ReplyDeleteOK attach the SD to the other chess piece.
ReplyDeletePosted too soon!
Eraser is needed for pic upstairs. Use it on "Salvador Dali" to get a hint for drawer downstairs
ReplyDeleteThx for hint with tiles!
ReplyDeletegot the dark figure and can't look underneath, stupid me
Use eraser on pawn
ReplyDeleteSorry, I was kind of being snarky with regard to the first two unhelpful posts. The eraser is used on the Dali sketch in the attic.
ReplyDeleteDon´t forget to look under the king!
ReplyDeleteSorry Merith same post oppss
ReplyDeleteStuck now with 3 colored pencils, 3D binocs,
ReplyDeleteWell I did anyway, maybe it didn't need it?
ReplyDeleteUse the pattern of that pieces hint at the right door underneath the ship. Go from outside to the inner side: Square, circle, triangle, reverse triangle. Get a key, a pencil, and another piece.
ReplyDeleteHerpi - did you finish the 4x4puzzle? The 3 pencils have to be used there
ReplyDeleteCan't figure out which squares to push on the round door puzzle in attic either.
ReplyDeleteI see I'm always too late with my hints too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWere to us clue from the bottom of Chess piece?
ReplyDeletethe bottom of chess-king is used upstairs on round door
ReplyDeleteLOL Merit!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a 4x4 puzzle.
ReplyDeleteHave to leave (and buy some glasses and brains) ! Thanks for help
ReplyDeleteOut now, I'll be here to help, let's see if I can dig myself through all those questions above
ReplyDelete(Note to self: don't be too grumpy with other players who don't read the comments all the time and help Herpington... in the future... ;-) )
How do I get to the attic? I have unscrewed the letter and have a key but I can't get in.
ReplyDeleteMer, you have to pull the ladder back first.
ReplyDeleteZoom on ladder and then click at the top of the screen Meritneith.
ReplyDeletemeritneith: weird you should be able. Where did you get that key from?
ReplyDeletetook me awhile to find all color hints for picture. the tower is not a lighthouse!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course I meant the ladder and not a letter!
ReplyDeleteTrying to figure out the butterfly hint. Brain not assisting.
ReplyDeleteThank you all, your magic lead me to that magic pixel I had left out. Escapism, I got the key from the drawer with the square-circle-triangle as I mentioned before. It was the attic key. Now I'm far behind.
ReplyDeleteI cant get the chess piece to work I have 9,3,11,6,12 but wont go past 3 ?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletehave only opened the one drawer with the circle/square clue and made screwdriver to free ladder. Where is key to get upstairs??
ReplyDeleteAm I still supposed to have a chess piece (king) one I have used the SD? Still stuck, no idea where a 4x4 puzzle is.
ReplyDeleteI am sure it is a left, right thing just not getting it.
ReplyDeleteBandytrc you have to go to the numbers in the same direction as the arm did.
ReplyDeleteYou have to follow the guys arm movements exactly to open chess piece. right first all the way around to 9 etc.
ReplyDelete*once*
ReplyDeleteSame here Bandytrc. I have the same #'s you do & I did note the directions of the red arm. Not working for me...
ReplyDelete9-3-11-6-12
clockwise/counter/clockwise/counter/clockwise
Thanks Let see. LOL
ReplyDeleteArm order is 9 3 11 6. Not back to 12.
ReplyDeleteright to 9, left to 3, right to 11, left to 6 opened it for me.
ReplyDeleteStill can't do anything else. Please help?
Yea I got it!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat do you have Evans?
ReplyDeleteI was pushing the #,s not the direction.
ReplyDeletean eraser and 6 puzzle pieces. is all I have in inventory
ReplyDeleteEvans open the pawn and take top off combine with the screwdriver
ReplyDeleteI still can't figure out how to get the last (color code) drawer open. I got the butterflies working but my mind is blank.
ReplyDeleteI already made screwdriver and unscrewed ladder. need key to go upstairs, all the puzzle say I have no Clue (really don't lol)
ReplyDeleteHave you flipped a puzzle piece over?
ReplyDeleteIf not, do so and the four shapes on the bottom will open the door below the ship.
Mr Dreadful: Look at how often the butterflies move: one moves once, another twice, another three times and the last one four times. That is the order
ReplyDeleteWhere is the green pencil to paint my last egg, please......
ReplyDeleteFlipped what piece over? I had two chess pieces and used bothe for screwdriver and then they disappeared. Is there another piece somewhere?
ReplyDeleteStill no success opeining the round door in the attic.
ReplyDeleteI can follow the arrows to get to the middle, but it seems like it doesn't want you to press one or more of them along the way.
Butterflys go too fast for me lol
ReplyDeleteherpington: did you click the starting button?
ReplyDeletebandytrc, YBRG
ReplyDeleteMitzi Gaynor, there is a paper, how to mix the colors....
ReplyDeleteLook at your puzzle piece in the inventory and click it.
ReplyDeleteIt will flip over to show four concentric shapes.
Use them from large to small on the drawer.
evans: flip the tile over, not the chess piece!
ReplyDeleteescapism, tried clicking it, tried not clicking it.
ReplyDeletetried clicking all of them along the way, tried clicking just the ones you land on.
Nada either way.
Got it, flip over the puzzle pieces for clue. Thanks Austen64
ReplyDeletewhat to do with the butterly clue??
ReplyDeleteBut it seems that you made it right. Just click the first one down left, then the ones you land on...
ReplyDeleteEvans the SD disappears when you remove the screws from the ladder.
ReplyDeletejazzypix: it is for the 4 colored buttons door.
ReplyDeleteSorry Evans you were ahaead of where I thought!
ReplyDeleteHave you been upstairs yey?
Out now, from opening the attic to the end I needed no help. Lovely game with some wonderful renaissance music.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can help some others? Herpington, start from the beginning (bottom left) and click all new tiles you are lead to. That must work! Try again if necessary, I needed to attempts.
Or even "yet"!
ReplyDeleteescapism, nothing happens when I do that.
ReplyDeleteGlitch?
Ohfercripessake....got it finally.
ReplyDeletethx!
Herpington, I would spoil it, but I've opened it already while replaying it, now I can't see it anymore. Did you click the last tile too?
ReplyDeleteGood to know- even if i don't know what a 'cripes' is ;-b
ReplyDeleteHerpington, I think it worked for everyone. Maybe you should restart? I can't imagine what's wrong.
ReplyDeleteTY Herpiton had wrong puzzle LOL
ReplyDeleteOut.
ReplyDeleteThx everyone!
thanks hotz, now what to do with the clue from the painting: vixi
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why it didn't work.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this kind of puzzle many times, and never had a problem with them.
It just all of a sudden worked for some unkown reason.
mitzi, back to the clock!
ReplyDeleteWere to use the binoculars ?
ReplyDeletebandy, out the round window in the attic.
ReplyDeletechange lenses.
then back down on the eggs after the painting is done.
got the butterflies key and opened door for binoculars. where do I use them?
ReplyDeleteTY have to get that far yet LOL
ReplyDeleteSorry-Question not about this game but did anyone figure out how to access the Ena game Curse of Bear yet? I have tried continually on FF & IE and from here & on their site=no luck...
ReplyDeleteGotta go, thanks again!
ReplyDeletehow exactly did anyone open round door in attic? follow arrow direction? or what?
ReplyDeleteEvans - once you've opened the round door upstairs.
ReplyDeletestuck with 2 colour pencils, an eraser and binoculars. Need word hint and what to do with pencils? what are eggs for? how to open round door? really feeling stupid here.
ReplyDeleteEvans, just start in the bottom left corrner. Click the tile, follow the direction (three arrows to the right means three tiles to the right etc.) Click the tile you have been lead to and follow that direction as well, and so on. It is important that you click every tile which gives you the next step. Hope it's clear what I mean! ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrying now
ReplyDeleteI give on the round puzzle up stairs I cant get it.
ReplyDelete3 arrows to the right is blank?
ReplyDeleteOr do we not count the first one we push?
ReplyDeletegot window open and see hint for eggs but what do I do with it?
ReplyDeleteWell, managed to get right to the end without help (very unusual for me...) but don't know where to put the final code to get out. The one from the coloured in picture.
ReplyDeleteI had to try that 2 times to get it right. I was rushing too fast. Try going slow & carefully and count slow too :)
ReplyDeletebandy, that was an example. I'll play again to see where there is a sneaky part.
ReplyDeletepush red arrow on left, then 1 up, which tells you 3 right from there
ReplyDeletedon't count the one you already pushed.
smarties-click on the clock's square button
ReplyDeleteevans - colour them in once you've placed all the tiles.
ReplyDeletebandytrc -no, start counting from the next one.
Oh - thanks RC Cat - had forgotten all about that!
ReplyDeleteI still can't find last puzzle piece and can't find hint for clock or letters??
ReplyDeleteUse the eraser on Dali's name on painting for the letters clue
ReplyDeleteI did that and wont open I try a couple more times.
ReplyDeleteGot letter hint from erasing salvador painting and found last puzzle piece. but I have no green pencil and need clock hint.
ReplyDeleteNice one tomatea....
ReplyDeleteErrr - did you push the reset button before a new attempt? Maybe that will work. I have noticed down the way and will post it here. Just give me a second.
ReplyDeletePlease, don't give wrong clues. There's no 4x4 puzzle in game.
ReplyDeletebandy, for green you mix blue and yellow, click both colours on the egg. You need to mix more colours for tower and the butterfly. Wrong colours can be erased.
ReplyDeleteDo we skip the blank ones?
ReplyDeleteDuh! figured out painting but nothing happens. still need clock hint.
ReplyDeleteevans: green=??
ReplyDeleteSPOILER=blue+yellowSPOILER
A very nice game, Thanks, TomaTea
ReplyDeleteBandy, count blank ones too. carefully check direction the last arrow you clicked is pointing. that messed me up a couple of times.
ReplyDeletedon't forget you have a binocular that has filter lenses available @ Evans
ReplyDeleteyou can "look" at your painting.
ReplyDeleteuse binoculars on finished painting for clock. Finally out!
ReplyDeleteOk I give on that. nice game though. Thank you for all the help.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the helps I got here.
ReplyDeleteExcellent as always. Thanks to those who posted the hints for the arrows and the tiles.
ReplyDeleteFor the round door in the attic: 1L means one tile to the left, 3U three tiles up, and so one. Click every new tile you are led to.
ReplyDeleteStart with the 1U in the bottom left, click it. After that go on:
3R, 1D, 2L, 3U, 2R, 1U, 2L, 3D, 3R, 1U, 3L, 1L, 2R, 2R, 1U, 2L, 2D, centre tile
Anyone have a spare clue for me regarding the 3x3 grid? That's the only puzzle I have left (besides the clock). Thanks. Sorry if I end up double posting.
ReplyDeleteFollowed the to the tea. and still will not open
ReplyDeleteGreat game as usual - I would play (and I do replay) these all the time - challenging, but don't over think it. Just got stuck on the porthole a bit...
ReplyDeleteMopface look at pic upstairs for that clue. the one with the guy. has 3 pics of him
ReplyDeleteMopface - the clue in is the Dali painting in the attic - highlight the heads that are not like the others…
ReplyDeleteI just cant get the round door to open. followed the spoiler above but still wont open. ?
ReplyDeleteCatcat I just notice that seems to be a double clue! LOL Look at the pic with the man, then the Dali pic same clue! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for the clues, one of these days I will it solo. *****
ReplyDeleteHaving a difficult time getting started. I've tried the square circle thing over and over and it's not working. I feel like an idiot lol.
ReplyDeletePlus I took the piece off the top of the chess piece, but I can't look under it as suggested. I also cannot find another chess piece that will turn over. Clueless.
ReplyDeleteGot a little further now. I was going from left to right on the circle square pattern, when it was up and down, which I tried finally.
ReplyDeletecyndee one chess piece comes from circle square puzzle, clue for that was bottom of clock.
ReplyDelete4x4 puzzle is 16 square painting on easel.
ReplyDelete3x3 grid was from 9 faces painting in attic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bandy & Cat!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the order of egg colors on the painting?
ReplyDeleteI think the eggs are blue yellow red green but what the heck are the colors for the lighthouse and the butterfly? HELP!
ReplyDeleteButterfly is purple (unused one from ship) and lighthouse is orange (chesspiece)
ReplyDeletelighthouse and butterfly are spoileroandpspoiler. clock is spoileryspoiler.
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks so much! I was way off.
ReplyDeleteThis round door puzzie is diving me nuts! I wish somebody could do a screen shot, please?
ReplyDeletecolor mixing clue is in books next to lamp

ReplyDeleteBless your heart, Alpha! Big old wet kissies to you!
ReplyDeleteDelicious ! Gonna throw myself into a walkthrough here = YUMMY !
ReplyDeletePuzzle pieces.
ReplyDeleteBoat wall.
1. at the boat.
2. on the right shelf.
3. on the left shelf.
Turn left = puzzle wall.
4. left off the clock.
Turn left twice = windows.
5. at flower basket.
Later on in the game …..
6. in left drawer at puzzle wall.
7. in right drawer at boat wall.
8. in the attic.
9. in small table.
10. in left drawer at boat wall.
11. in right drawer at puzzle wall.
What else to take and view..
Boat wall.
At the right a small brown chess piece. It can be opened.
Right side of the clock: eraser.
Puzzle wall.
A color clue in the books on the left, the eggs = shapes/colors.
What clue goes where.
Circles and squares below the clock =
Left drawer at the puzzle wall.
Gives a large chess piece and a pp.
There’s a puzzle on the chess piece.
The right picture on the boat wall is the example
for the picture on the left, push the buttons =
The red arm moves around. Mark the turning points.
About item the large chess piece, click the arrows to
get to the turning points = a sd.
About item the little chess piece, combine it with the sd,
unlock the ladder.
You can climb up to the lock.
About item the six pp’s, click them to see a clue =
Drawer right of the boat.
Go from the largest shape to the smallest =
Key, yellow pencil, pp.
Use the key on the lock high up the ladder = the attic.
Get the pp, Click the round door.
Start left under, click the triangle, there’s only one, so, go up one, click it.
It shows three triangles, so go three to the right, click it, etc. =
You end in the middle, open the door = a lighthouse.
Zoom out.
Zoom in on the painting on the left, take the key up left.
Zoom in on the painting down right = Salvador Dali.
Use the eraser to get four letters for the left drawer at the boat wall down stairs.
First zoom in painting up right = clue for the grid down stairs.
(upside-down faces = click those).
Go down and do the grid on the little table =
Pencil, pp. and the letter drawer at the boat wall = red pencil and pp.
Use key on the boat = clue for right drawer on puzzle wall
(the order is which flag stops first etc) = Binoculars + pp.
About item binoculars, take off the colored glasses, go upstairs,
use it on the lighthouse = clue.
Place the pp’s, do the hype of the moment, lol.
(The hands are facing each other).
Look at the eggs. Note color + shapes on them.
Combine the shapes with egg-colors and color the eggs in the order as shown on the lighthouse.
Now use the paper color hint:
Y + r = o
Y + b = g
R + b = pu
Look at the color of the boat-butterfly that did not move,
Look at the chess-piece that stands out, look at the color of the clock.
To get a mixed color, first use one color, then click the second = finished.
Now use the binoculars with the glasses down on the painting =
Clue for the clock = exit key.
Sigh, unfortunately ….
Ssssssssspoilers.

ReplyDeletecaught this one while searching for a game worth a replay
ReplyDeleteTomaTea is always worth a replay!
thx for all your creations, TomaTea ☺
also for the Amajeto ones ;-)
& thx arrie for the WT
(btw, cool that my hint/spoiler link to imgur posted above is still active...!)
Lovely game! A reminder of the golden age of Tomatea games. They're still miles ahead of most of the mindless point and click cookie cutter junk passing as escape games these days, but I wish they still had the same level of twists and interconnections as illustrated in this game. A pleasure to play!
ReplyDeleteA lot of the replay games don't load for me.
