    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm using SD's usual room lettering method - start at the bottom left with A then go to the right and up. For instance we start in J, scary face in fireplace is in A etc. BTW you can't light the scary man on fire...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Can't open four digit box and don't remember where I found crowbar. Only clue I see is blue writing Matti Dal 1988 but neither DAL nor 1988 work...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Leroy, it seems we 're not so late, everyone is here. They 're just a little ahead from us.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  43. bolt cutters in V - called "old sponge"!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Piano worked for me like written on the wall: CAB DEB FED. IIRC.

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Juliane, clue for the piano? Not working for me?

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL POP! Third time's a charm?! Worked finally

    ReplyDelete
  47. Silly me, I can't find where to place the red gem.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Where to use the hammer? Juliane's comment: Hammer used in room with armchair (downmost ro, secon from right). Doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @caroline it is where you used the crowbar, tiny on the left

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yes there it is...thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  51. There are yellow, pink, white, orange, blue red stones. Green is necessary? Where can I find it?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Where does the red gem get placed? I've been to every room 2x and I swear I cannot find it. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  61. down two from where you lit candles and right two is where you use hammer on left wall, halfway up.

    ReplyDelete
  62. red gem goes in room where you used crowbar. small spot on left

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  64. Where to use the crowbar?

    ReplyDelete
  65. the code 1988 doesn't work for me. I also tryed backwards and still can't open the box. I guess there is my last gem.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Piano code was CABDEBFED

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Doris code is not 1988. Code is 7988

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ok, it was 7988, I guess i got a problem with my eyes...

    ReplyDelete
  69. Great game! That's the old Selfdefiant we all knew!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Jo Ann, thank you, I finally got it and as I said, it seems I have an eye problem...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Awesome! SD, You have done it again. I loved the extra spookiness! I can't wait to play it again with my grandmonsters. Now, get cracking on the next asylum, please?

    ReplyDelete
  72. a little slow playing, actually painfully slow. maybe a little smaller next time. otherwise very good.

    ReplyDelete
  73. After you get the magic crystal for traveling to rooms, you can no longer write room labels on the rooms in the map

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have to make a complaint about the latest games: the game window is covered by the advertising of a game and gives me no option to close it so that if I look to the inventory at the bottom I can not see the upper part of the screen. Is it possible to do something about that? thanks

    ReplyDelete
  75. Had to leave and now can't find the 4 number code box...

  77. Rosita, I know which ad you mean. There's a tiny X on the bottom right of the screen, not really near the ad. It will get rid of it, but the damage to your processing speed has been done. I upgraded my browser, which helped a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  78. ... or you could become premium members at SelfDefiant's site, and get the games ad free. :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. Best SD game in a long time!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Plz letter your rooms and add total of orbs

    ReplyDelete
  81. good game but became very slow closer to the end, too much stuff running on meltingmindz site, looks like

  85. Great one as always!
    Thank you!!!
Had no such problems like slow loading or ads spam.
Only Issue I ran into was the seven not looking like one.
And I am thankful for only 1 tiny jump scare. Your Asylums are spooky enough, they don't really need them :) Moving chair like in an earlier one, and moving and disappearing shadows like in haunted house of orbs seem more in theme here than the graphical outstanding figures. (Also giving less heart-attack, and being more atmospheric)

    Lovelovelove.
Now back to waiting for the next Asylum

    ReplyDelete
  86. Excellent game as always. Love that you can now just "cursor over" orbs to pick them up. Seemed a bit easier than other ones... LOL - I doubt it's that I'm getting smarter!!

    ReplyDelete
  87. placed all the gems except for the red one; been around twice and can't find which room to put it,

    ReplyDelete
  88. Thank you for a GREAT game SD! And a big hug for letting us buy the crystal portal thingy earlier in the game. It's so much easier to get around! Laughing at the bolt cutters being called a sponge...

    ReplyDelete
  89. found the spot to place red gem; very small! not out.

    ReplyDelete
  90. geekChick I already closed the game but remember the spot for the red gem was very small, on a wall back on the left side and I think it was down on the 1st or second floor if that helps.

    ReplyDelete
  91. This was a really good one. The Asylum games are by far and away my favorites. Some of the others are pretty predictable. Good job, SD.

And thanks gang for the hints. I would have never found the holder for the red gem by myself.

    ReplyDelete
  92. And, yes, the travel crystal makes a big difference!

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Jo-Ann,

Thank you for the 4 digits-code. I read 1988, too.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Has anybody found the yellow gem, please ?

    ReplyDelete
  95. For yellow gem, use hammer on left wall in room with armchair (room on map in downmost row, second from right).

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thank you @ alphaomega ! I had the hammer but didn't notice the hotspot on the wall near the armchair.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'm glad many of you enjoyed the game. I didn't like it. There was nothing original, no interesting puzzles. I had to use the lantern in every single room to check if there was anything there, not just in dark places. And I was disappointed the face in the fireplace didn't do anything. Sorry Selfdefiant, I didn't care for this one!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I liked star portal to the shop, only 25 orbs for crystal ball, clear piano code. The only thing I disliked was 7988 hint, 'cause 7 really looked like 1. But I gave 5 stars as this game was nice in general.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thank you Lurker Smurf, I'll try that, next time. Between in italian "Matti dal..." would sound like "Crazy from...". Very funny :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Ok I think you need all the gems before it shows you where you can place them. Ungh.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I love SD games, but sorry didn't do anything for me this time. I got fed up searching for doors to use keys on, not many puzzles, it wasn't interesting enough to be that legth. Sorry SD I gave up, was bored and that has never happened playing any of his games before?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Can't find yellow gem.....
