  1. Any hints for level 37? I found the egg, but it wasn't helpful. I have no clue where to go from there.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Jbg,
On 37 the egg is telling you, you were on the right track with p.t. don't abondan that track!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. @Tangled:

This one was hard. Like you said, the key will be the beginning part. You will get 5 letters of the key but you will have to guess the other 4 letters in it. The key will not be an anagram so keep the letters where they are at and try to fgure out what the other letters are.

    ReplyDelete
  4. a little hint on the egg on 30 please, I tried b****** (obviously) ,
m****, d***, even flipping them all around.... nada

    ReplyDelete
  5. Level 30:

The egg just tries to get you to focus on what's important in the level. Small-tool apparently thinks that the word "idea" sounds like just saying two letters. The grid on the level has 24 spaces. Think what you can do with the grid using "no idea".

    ReplyDelete
  6. rds665, if you read Clio-rose's hint about how the riddle maker says idea, (ID) then count how many squares are in the pic and apply "no idea" Be sure to note that some of the dots are different, gives 2 words to use

    ReplyDelete
  7. rds665 was a little tricky because of the different pronunciations of the word idea for people in different countries . Some countries, like the one where Small Tool lives do not pronounce the A in the word IDEA . Try pronouncing without the A and include the word no to and say that out loud.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Tangled a useful hint on lvl 25 is that a letter which you have placed in the cipher which is to the left of its normal position must be in the key.
A little trial and error with the 16 characters you have left will spell out the keyword for you.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Now all I have to do is get my head round all those clues for lvl 29.
I've been trying all sorts for hours and just don't seem to make any progress.
I'm seeing even less than Ray Charles here!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Austin, start by looking at a list of lower case binary letters, they have something in common. Fill that in on the grid, then use that as a guide to fill in the rest of the table. You will have to guess a couple

    ReplyDelete
  11. thank you all for your help, have so many charts sitting here trying to figure out which letters to delete, onto 31 yeah!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I really hope i dont have to try to follow this balls path as to where i think it will go...:/

    ReplyDelete
  13. Donas thanks for trying to assist me on lvl 29.
I’m afraid that I still cannot make the leap from the fact that all lower case letters start the same in binary to being able to relate this to a grid.
Maybe it will become clearer when I have had a bit of sleep.
    Good night all (for now).

    ReplyDelete
  14. Austen, thats where i got stuck too, but thats you you have to do and then as small tool said.. because the first b is 0 all b's are 0, keeping in mind you already know what the first 3 columns are just continue in that fashion making all I's 1's etc.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ok...back to 25...I really had to get some work done. Determined to get this!

    ReplyDelete
  16. could someone drop a hint for 31 please, tried betamaze, and pigpen, and following the predictions of where the ball would go and getting nowhere.

    ReplyDelete
  17. 25/question: when I do both gibberish words I have a c & j that both need to go under a...is this right? supposing I finally get the gibberish words translated to the alphabet then the earlier hint of where to put a,b will finally make sense??????? so far i have a c,-,-,l,i,s,-,r,e,o ??

    ReplyDelete
  18. no tangled, on one paper write out the alphabet.... and under that you write the gibberish.... so the c goes under a .... but a goes under j.

    ReplyDelete
  19. fill in all the gibberish you have under the real alphabet, you will have to guess at a few letters, but if you take a scientific approach you will probably be able to guess the missing letters in the beginning not problem

    ReplyDelete
  20. rds665, I put it in paint and drew lines to follow the path of the ball

    ReplyDelete
  21. donas could you tell me how many letters i need to hit for sure please? I have it in paint but not sure on the angles and not sure when to stop.

    ReplyDelete
  22. rds, 7 letters. I guessed after i had the first four, because i kept boinging all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  23. thank you clio_rose, I will try again, do I need granma or will i know it with out her help?

    ReplyDelete
  24. no granny. Thats why i was able to take a stab at the answer...phew.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ugh, hate it when class keeps me away from riddles for too long.

At 22 right now, got the night/day hint to give me 5 words and a 2-word phrase that all answer the questions not crossed out (also got an egg....sorry S-T! :[ ), but nothing's adding up.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @xaq:

You are very close. If you've answered all the questions then all that is needed is to pick letters from those answers.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oop, never mind, had a brain wave! Question numbers proved somewhat important there...on to 24! (I'd say on to 23, but I kinda accidentally found the answer to that one way back.)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Lvl 30. After egg I excluded the two letters (according to the ST pronunciation) of something, and filled the grid with the rest. And got 10 letters with dots. Granny d/w. Is there another trick to get the word for answer?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Fossa:

It should work. Maybe try a different solver. It will be two words.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @jbg: thank you. Another solver has solved it)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am still stuck on 30. I get the "no idea" part, but how do I fill in the grid. There are only 14 spaces without dots already in them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Chael615:

You fill in the ones with dots too. The dots are what you use to pick letters.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @jbg:

I think I got it. Now the total number of squares makes sense when I think of what's excluded.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hmmm. I can't get anything to come out in the anagram solver.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Chael615, so did I.
    There 2 words s***** h***

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Fossa & jbg Thank you both so much. L31 now!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hung up on 26. Found the first egg, but not making any headway with it...I'm guessing I need to utilize the periodic table for it somehow?

    ReplyDelete
  40. @xaq Which one was 26 again?

    ReplyDelete
  41. @xaq If that is the one I think it is, look at the color groupings. Make sure your table is color coded.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yeah, I saw Austen64's hint to Fossa earlier, and I'm coloring things in right now...do I need to color all the squares, or just the ones pertinent to the clue that got me the egg?

EDIT: Ahh, I see now...yeah, had to fill in the whole thing. Second egg found.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm stuck on 32. The tic-tac-toe one. I found the egg and I did what the egg told me to do (or not to do). But I am stuck how to make something out of that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Aaand 26 is officially an omelet, thanks Chael615!

27's first egg was easy to spot, clues got me an answer, and...

    ...

    Wait, I'm on 29 now?? Where'd 28 go!?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well, I'm getting a bit burnt out, especially on binary, so I'll have to catch up with you guys tomorrow. G'night...*picks up phone* Hello, front desk? Could you leave me a level 29 wake-up hint? Thank you. *click*

    ReplyDelete
  46. *phones xaq's room*.....Good morning, Sir. As requested, a morning wake-up to binary call. Please feel free to browse through our large selection of lower case binary alphabet. Im sure you will enjoy that we always keep our first three numbers the same. It helps our clients solve lvl29. and means that the first three columns of that level can be filled in the same way. We do however like to be contemporary and therefore, have decided that anytime any of the letters appearing in those three columns, reappears in the remaining 5 columns we will use the same number whether it be the simple 0 or the classic 1. Unfortunately, the pattern runs out in one or two cases, but with a simple swish of an 0, or a dab of 1, im sure you soon be on your way to Lvl 30.

    ReplyDelete
  47. if xaq managed to bypass level 28 I wish I could. I've got a 10 x 10 but don't how the footstep, stalks and petals steer me through the grid

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Enzed The only thing you need to know about the footsteps is the color. Where else do you see that color? What could it mean? footSTEPS.

    ReplyDelete
  49. thanks Chael- that was the missing link

    ReplyDelete
  50. Chael615,
On the 32 egg it doesn't say "tic" tac toe anymore, does it?
That's a hint to use a certain kind of cipher.

    ReplyDelete
  51. this pinball on 31 is so finicky- I get a different answer every time I try it and none of it makes any sense

    ReplyDelete
  52. enzed. Im so sorry i cant help more than i did with rds at 7.43, above. To get you started, I used a ruler against the screen...that landed me on the first letter of the second word...i then boinged to the lower left and hit the fifth word...continued and hit the triangle which shot me up to hit the last letter of the fourth word....then...off i went back down towards the right..hit another letter...and guessed the rest. No anagram. I hope that helps a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  53. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  54. your fourth letter is incorrect. Come back one to the left.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ah, I get your point (!)

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  56. i had a stab in the dark....lol

    ReplyDelete
  57. on 25 so sorry.....this one is the one for me.....I just can't seem to crack it and I don't know why........I hand wrote the alphabet and underneath I took BOTH gibberish words and matched them up to the solution words......I started with scprin/father pair no problem, the confusion is when I do the other pair ajdpim/jolted because the 'j' from jolted wants to go under the 'a' from ajdpim but i already have an a there from the first pair....it just boondoggles what little skill I already have.....I know I can get this, i know i can......I just don't know what I am doing so wrong that it wont give me what it gave you guys......

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tangled, dont give up. Let me check something pls. I will get back to you as soon as i can.

    ReplyDelete
  59. tangled what helped me was reading instructions here http://www.braingle.com/brainteasers/codes/keyword.php . its very hard to explain this level but ehen you understand the logic behind the cypher you can crack it

    ReplyDelete
  60. as for me I'm stuck at 32 tic tac toe I cannot even find the egg

    ReplyDelete
  61. write it out like abcdefg......
    then underneath apply the cipher
    so
    father
scprin you see the c is under a
and same for jolted so the A is und the J
    so
    abcdefghij
    c a
do the same for others and eventually you will be able to guess the keyword using logic

    ReplyDelete
  62. abcdefghij
    c............a
it changed this should show better

    ReplyDelete
  63. Mesh-mel, Lvl 32, sometimes its a capital idea to use first things first when reading text and on an egg hunt.

    ReplyDelete
  64. thx Clio_rose I tried that but i forgot the opponent

    ReplyDelete
  65. Tangled, i really dont know how to explain. I hope mtatt100's comment above helped. If it doesnt, i suggest you make a plea directly to small-tool. He has a mega-brain, but a very kind heart. Im sure he will give you a mega-shove..gently of course.

    ReplyDelete
  66. so still on 32, tried the cipher but the letters I got make no sense. I also dont understand the |find other firsts" hint

    ReplyDelete
  67. So I see:
    scprin
father then I do the same with
    ajdpim
jolted.......see what I am seeing? the c is under the a in the first pair and the j is under the a in the second following the same rule for both. ?? my logic is so half wrong here....I see the j under the a only if i reverse what I did for the first pair w/father....no?

    ReplyDelete
  68. L28
    - I understand what to do acc. to comments (hopefully...)
    - I read about starting at top flower
==> why there? where's the hint?
    - is . for all flowers the starting point or which flower/s is/are next & where's the hint which flower/s to take next?
    - 14 flowers = 14 letters?
    - anagram?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Tangled.......i hope someone comes along who can explain. I seriously dont know how to explain in a coherent way.

Mesh-mel, you found the egg using firsts....i suggest you read the first words in the text. It helps a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  70. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @alphaomega go to the dot then from there move towards the direction the top flower is growing. from top to bpttom u should follow flowers because it's the most logical way. how much should you move? the red steps will tell you.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Tangled. I will start at the beginning . The Caesar keyed cipher has a word at the beginning and then the alphabet. No letters can be duplicated in the keyword and if a letter appears in the keyword you do not include it in it's regular location in the alphabet. Wiki has a good page about this cipher. 1st you must write out the regular alphabet. Below that you will write out what you know about the ciphered alphabet. Smalltool has given you the words that are ciphered JOLTED and FATHER and you are ALSO given the ciphered words AJDPIM and SCPRIN. So underneath the J of your written out alphabet , write an A because you can see that the ciphered J becomes an A, Then do all the remaining letters in jolted and father. You will start to see how the ciphered alphabet is forming beneath your regular alphabet. You then need to fill in some of the logically missing letters from that alphabet to see which ones are missing and therefore in your keyword. There is some trial and error involved and maybe anagramming with a couple of wildcards to find the keyword. A little long winded but I hope this helps.

    ReplyDelete
  73. L28
well, I get oaalsdyosaaere, but obviously wrong, as granny gives nothing... where is my fallacy (1 petal = 1 step?)

    ReplyDelete
  74. Alpha,
    No anagram.
Amount of (certain) petals is the amount of steps per direction.

    ReplyDelete
  75. alpha first letter you get is T

    ReplyDelete
  76. pls some more help on 32. the 4 letters (at least I think they should be 4) I get dont give me a word

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well, have to go again...
idk, if I'll continue (too frustrated)... it seems, that in riddles, I need a step by step guidance, otherwise I'll get nowhere...

    ReplyDelete
  78. mesh-mel,
On 32 you should get 6 letters to anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  79. stuck on 32 after the egg, I tried the cipher, and read the firsts, but cannot find a word using just the 3 that are left, it is just a 3 letter word correct?

    ReplyDelete
  80. thank you for all this help....I have work to catch up on before I can really focus on this and get it to work.....I am so looking forward to that "ohhhhhhh" moment.... :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Lvl 32......I dont want anyone to give up, so......pls forgive me if this is too much info. I dont mind if my comment is deleted. First things first in caps gives...a language, which takes you to an egg. That eggie sort of hints..that..if not first letters first..then..have a go at first words first.
Soo, using THAT hint........win the game ..I assumed next move was mine. Ignore what you were told to ignore. What you have is four of your thing..and two empty's. Your's are remarkably similar to dots..and the empty's are remarkably similar to those without dots. Hope that helps.

    ReplyDelete
  82. you all are so far
please help me on L16 - I stuck there since yesterday - am I stupid?
Do I have to build the new 6 letter word from the letters MORASWEDEN?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Marian Shelter,
You have to take away letters from that, with nowhere (read that as no; w,h,e,r,e) and then anagram what's left over.

    ReplyDelete
  84. the empties!!! but of course. thanks so much clio

    ReplyDelete
  85. THANX
NOW I understand some old hints like

    ok, I follow you slowly

    ReplyDelete
  86. As mesh-mel said, thank you very much clio-rose, onto 33, wow so many rules... :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Please could somebody help me on lvl 27 I have read all the hints over and over got the egg but not a clue what to do next.Usually the penny drops after I have read hints when stuck but not this time. Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  88. @ladysue:

try drawing the line from the egg onto the text in the main level.

    ReplyDelete
  89. ladysue, if you found the egg, then follow the line of the egg.

    ReplyDelete
  90. For level 46, I have tried many things to make it work. I have tried converting the text to binary, converting the letters in binary to numbers in many different ways and then converting it back to binary. I tried using the new binary from those conversions to pick letters in the text. Nothing seems to work and there are way too many options here.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Jbg,
For lvl 46 the way the pic is made it's telling something about itself.

    ReplyDelete
  92. OMG thank you jbg & rds665 just wasted 2 hours on such a simple solution

    ReplyDelete
  93. on 33 am I looking for an 8 letter word?

    ReplyDelete
  94. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  95. rds665,
I guess you found the egg.
It's not 8, but 11 letters and it will be a 4 word answer.

    ReplyDelete
  96. yes, i found the egg, but cant get anywhere starting at all those dice... :)

    ReplyDelete
  97. All you can do is play the game. You do know the order they play (that's told in the rules) and on the egg you can see what player uses what peg when.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hello after a long while! I'm also at lvl 33 now.

    ReplyDelete
  99. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  100. enzed, granny will give it with what you have

    ReplyDelete
  101. Mesh-mel, yes the egg is 4 letters

    ReplyDelete
  102. Yes mesh-mel to get the egg you need an obvious 4 letter word (you can find it by using the numbers you see on the pic).

    Yes Enzed, correct, just anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  103. ok, back - persevered & gave 28 a last chance LOL
well, the ceasar box cipher I found was misleading, because it makes columns instead of rows with the text (what I did, too, first)...!

    L30 egg now
read comments (as usual) - what does it mean:
«You fill in the ones with dots too. The dots are what you use
    to pick letters.»
So still don't know how to fill grid (24 spaces, without the 2 letters)

    ReplyDelete
  104. & what does this mean (L30 egg)?
«Be sure to note that some of the dots are different.»

    ReplyDelete
  105. AΩ pick letters from your grid with one kind of dot for a word, than with the other kind of dot for another, use both together for your answer

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm looking for a six letter word? Granny's not saying much to me today:(

    ReplyDelete
  107. Alpha,
24 is quite close to "26" isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thats the trouble with solving with online tools, they ignore proper names. Which is probably why ST likes to use them. Ty

    ReplyDelete
  109. This is the solver I always use.
Imho the best one, you can even use wildcards with ?

    http://anagram-solver.net/

    ReplyDelete
  110. Ah, thank you clio_rose, that was most helpful. Level 29 is taken care of. Thank you. *hangs up, gets to work on 30*

    ReplyDelete
  111. thx, Donas727 (& small-tool),
you can declare me dumb, but I really don't get it... :(

when I fill grid with the letters (without the particular 2), the squares with dots give me aehorstuwy...

(I really think, I should stay with escape games & avoid riddles - not my kind of game as it seems...)

    ReplyDelete
  112. oh you mean THAT obvious :D ok got it. quick question. when playing the rules say hat the first dice roll is to indicate who plays first but are those numbers used on the board or we roll again?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Mesh-mel,
The first roll is not used on the board.

    Alpha,
You got it. Now look at the dots to see what 6 letters go together (to anagram) and what 4 letters go together.

    ReplyDelete
  114. AΩ, you have the right letters, you just need to make 2 words

    ReplyDelete
  115. Btw.

    mesh-mel,
I'm talking about the first roll on the level (that's not used) the first rolls on the egg are of course used.

    Alpha,
It's not about being dumb, it's just being unexperienced with riddles. You just got to get the hang of it. And besides, this is not an easy riddle at all, everybody is struggling and almost 3 days out now and nobody is finished yet.

    ReplyDelete
  116. got 30E by using one of the other solvers:

    http://wordsmith.org/anagram/index.html

(still don't see though, how the dots are showing what 6 letters go together & what 4 letters go together...)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Stuck at level 16 since yesterday and the comments are no help, anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  118. lucia, read the last line as "No where in Mora, Sweden" then literally remove the letters "where" from Mora, Sweden and anagram what you have left

    ReplyDelete
  119. Thanks Donas727. I´m finally at 17.

    ReplyDelete
  120. lvl 33: I got 12 letters from the game, they even form a sansible phrase, but it doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  121. Now it worked, finally 34

    ReplyDelete
  122. @Mako:

You should only end up with 11 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Mako,
In the end you should have 2 green pegs and 3 blue, red and yellow ones on the board, so that's 11 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  124. L31
no pinball wizzard at all here... I know about angle of incidence & angle or reflection, but all my drawing is leading me nowhere (first letter is obvious, then 1-20, or 9-12 or even sth else haha - ?)

    ReplyDelete
  125. omg this this torture....I restarted a thousand times. when counting, do we count as 1 the base or start from the next

    ReplyDelete
  126. mesh-mel, do not count the base

    ReplyDelete
  127. @mesh-mel:

You have to keep track of where every piece is so you can move them from the spots they ended on in the last turn. It might be easier to keep track if you have the board game itself or even printed it out and made your own board. It is quite challenging to keep track of everything.

    ReplyDelete
  128. AΩ, 9 for the 2nd letter is right, but not 12

    ReplyDelete
  129. thx, Donas727,
but brain opting out here, so I'll let it be...
(at least for today - idk if also for ever...)

    ReplyDelete
  130. lvl 34 8 across - please help, no idea what is that

    ReplyDelete
  131. Mako,
It's cryptic crossword like. It's not a special tv show, but the general kind of shows, but maybe focus more on the cleaning/washing part. Don't overthink.

    ReplyDelete
  132. omg, I know!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Well, that hen finally visited on 46, but was no clucking help! :) Another hint, please?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Donas,
Lvl 46 egg is telling you what you need.
How to get that is first very basic riddling with the key.

    ReplyDelete
  135. lvl 35 - I did the easy part, but I'm too tired to think more, I don't know how to arrange the text yet. I'll be back tomorrow:)

    ReplyDelete
  136. Any hints for the egg on level 47? I have no idea what is meant by "time".

    ReplyDelete
  137. Jbg,
Lvl 47 egg. Think about "it was their time" as an expression (probably not very much used anymore nowadays, but old folks still do).

    ReplyDelete
  138. What a great riddle. It was certainly challenging at times, but I enjoyed it. I especially liked level 43. That level was very well done. Speaking of well done, I am happy to be finished. Congratulations on a great riddle Small-tool and thanks for creating the levels Jon. :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. Very well done Jbg :)
Thanks for playing and Congrats :)

    ReplyDelete
  140. Congrats Jbg!! Well done :)

    ReplyDelete
  141. Yayyy, congratulations jbg.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Congrats jbg!! honestly I am jealous....just got back from a long day and ready to tackle that wall of a level 25!!!!

    ReplyDelete

  144. Pfew! Finally finished! Now I can have my life back, lol. Thanks so much for a challenging and fun riddle!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Well done Donas. It feels great to finish doesn't it? :)

    ReplyDelete
  146. jbg and Donas - Congrats to both of you!!! And thank you - so often during the game both of you reached out to help the rest of us still struggling....

    ReplyDelete
  147. well done Donas....you help out so much....please keep checking back ....some us will need more before we're done...

  150. I'm compelled to boast that I finished the game first, two days ago. I must also confess I made liberal use of a very unsportsmanlike technique that I hinted at in an earlier post. Yeah, I'm a total stinker, but I'm pretty good at being bad, no?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Stuck on the egg for 33. I ended up with 11 letters (blue and yellow took out a green and red piece on the same turn once, and then red took out a green piece on the last turn), but they don't form 4 words like the earlier clue suggested.

What I wound up with, going clockwise around the board starting at Blue's start: aqunhidttrn

Did I at least have a few of them right?

    ReplyDelete
  152. @xaq almost all of them. The Q is off.

    ReplyDelete
  153. @xaq Come on man, there has got to be a better way to sort those letters!

    ReplyDelete
  154. @xaq remember the hint I gave you for a different puzzle yesterday?

    ReplyDelete
  155. Ah, I see the problem now...literally. That Q's actually an O. My bad. Consulting with granmaa for the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Chael615: **LIGHTBULB** Thank you!! :D On to 34!

    ReplyDelete
  157. I just solved the crossword on 34. Granmaa, Mr. Biv, and I did what we needed to do with the marked squares, found a hidden message....

And now I feel like I just fell for a red herring. :[

    ReplyDelete
  158. Congratulations, Donas. yayy.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Apparently letter-picking wasn't quite enough. I had to approach the clues on 34 from both ends. On to 35...just as soon as I down some aspirin for the headache some of these are giving me. X_x;;;

    ReplyDelete
  160. It seems we need to make a 7X16 grid for 35.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I made it up to 37's egg no problem, but uhhh....help? I'm guessing I still need to use the P.T. going on earlier posts, but I can't quite see how.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I'm still stuck on 36. I thought I had to use the percentages to pick letters but maybe not.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Chael615 - You do, but remember, the pendulum's losing momentum with each swing, so it won't be that percent of a full swing...just of the previous one.

    ReplyDelete
  164. xaq, first you must use a simple riddle trick on the word that got you to the egg

    ReplyDelete
  165. Thanks so much for the great riddle Small! It was hard, but ever so fun and clever!!! I think I'm sad it's over! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  166. I must be overlooking something. I consulted granmaa, I let things rot for a bit...nothing else coming to mind.

    ReplyDelete
  167. xaq - I tried that too. Do I have to change sides each swing (i.e., go left to right on the first swing, right to left on the second)?

    ReplyDelete
  168. Xaq, convert the letters, then remember what the level is about

    ReplyDelete
  169. Chael615 - Yep. It'll go one way a certain distance, then back the other a shorter distance starting from the letter you just got. Repeat until you run out of percentages.

That puzzle made me want to play Chrono Trigger again; it reminded me too much of the title screen. XD

    ReplyDelete
  170. Thanks E Presto, can't believe I forgot about good ol' A1 sauce. XP

    On to 38.

    ReplyDelete
  171. @xaq Should I round up the decimals, say like 20.8 to 21?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Chael615, don't count the one it starts on to calculate how far it will swing

    ReplyDelete
  173. Hoo...38 was interesting, 39 made me think someone forgot a space somewhere, 40 was so easy I almost overlooked it...got the egg on 41 but I can't see how to solve it.

    ReplyDelete
  174. xaq, did you notice the man inside the egg, on lvl 41

    ReplyDelete
  175. Yeah, but looking at the cipher that obviously directs me to doesn't help much. I'm probably just too tired. I'll work on this more tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  176. On 37 now, but can't figure out how to use P.T.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Nevermind....sneaky

    ReplyDelete
  178. Okay, I lied, had a eureka moment right as I laid down. Solved it, on to 42.

Chael615: You'll be needing Paint or some similar program for this. You're looking for a 5-letter word to start.

    ReplyDelete
  179. @xaq Yeah, I noticed the pattern. I'm on 38 now. Any hint where to start here?

    ReplyDelete
  180. I've come back to it after a couple of days (been busy moving house) and have progressed as far as lvl 35.
The tool-jumping game was easy (seen many times) and has produced a 7x16 grid with blank spots on each line.

I hate to give up on a puzzle but cannot spot the next step.

    ReplyDelete
  181. @Austen Have you filled in the grid?

    ReplyDelete
  182. Chael, read the first column downwards. Check upper case binary...and fill rows across using those first letters. Then cross-check the original grid with your numbered grid. The answer is three words.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Chael I have tried to fill in the grid in several ways but am unable to find a method which gives me the requisite 112 words/characters/numbers in order to apply the empty markers.
I have tried various permutations from the title, the picture and the lower text and so far nothing seems to fit.
Must go out for a short time but any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  184. @Austen Use the text under the picture, minus the punctuation.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Thank you Clio and everybody else for the hints. I made it to level 39 but I am stuck again. I have tried various things to no avail. I am going to sleep now, but will pick this back up tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Sleep well, Chael. See you tmrw, when you will all be helping me.

    ReplyDelete
  187. I'm also stuck at lvl 39

    ReplyDelete
  188. Hi Mako...read the title in a different way perhaps?

    ReplyDelete
  189. Lvl 39 Don't overthink, be very literal to find your 5 letter answer.

Congrats Donas and E-Presto, very well done, glad you liked it :)

close to 1000, so new comments, next page

    ReplyDelete
  190. LOL, I loved your wakeup call to XAQ yesterday Clio, that was hilarious! I was late starting this, but am up to lvl 35 now. I got
aiuesonxtdresssm after filling in the grid and picking letters. I tried arranging the grid different ways but not getting anything better, do I need granny for this level?

    ReplyDelete
  191. c0fe,
You missed a step (a letter), you forgot the 13th.

    ReplyDelete
  192. 26's first egg.....elements....read some hints and not sure exactly what I am suppose to do....am I taking the the levels first answer and using those 11 to plot something on the chart? some letters aren't there?

    ReplyDelete
  193. Tangled,
You have to use the numbers again. Look at the periodic table and colour or mark those numbers, give same subcategory elements the same mark or colour and in the end you will see the shapes of 4 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  194. Tangled, it isn't the egg answer that you need, try finding a colorful table and in paint, color in your grid

    ReplyDelete
  195. Yep Tangled, all 88 numbers.
A lot of them are in the same subcategory group, but some of them belong in other groups. 4 different other groups, they will make letters when you colour them.

    ReplyDelete
  196. Tangled. Dont panic. I did at first. I promise if you look at the wiki page and scroll down a bit.......you get the subcategory colours or letters..whichever you choose to use. As you fill it out,you will see that your grid is being divided into four quarters and each quarter contains a letter. Promise and cross my heart.
