ReplyDeleteany hints for "maths" puzzle? I don't know what to do.

ReplyDeleteI just need pink gem for pentagram, a triangle piece for puzzle above red sofa and a clue for "MATHS"puzzle.
ReplyDeleteOoh eck, having trouble with the slider puzzle.

ReplyDeletedon't get the clue on table

ReplyDeleteAny tips or strategies for the slider puzzle? I have to keep moving pieces I've placed. Never done this variety before.
ReplyDeleteSmarties,
ReplyDeleteFirst do two sides correct (for example top and left) then you're left with a smaller slider puzzle.
How do you solve the number puzzle with 3 and 8?
ReplyDeleteThe colour grid puzzle is like in those little Japanese games (connect two colours to get rid of them), gives the key.
ReplyDeleteclick on each identical colored square
ReplyDeletePuffin, the middle number is the connection of the three numbers around it
ReplyDeleteThanks Dazz!
ReplyDeletehow do i click on identical colors grid? they're so far
ReplyDeletePuffin,
ReplyDeleteI think you have to make all 8 numbers in that puzzle, but numbers are not allowed to go next to each other if they follow. Like no 6 or 8 next to a 7.
Puffin, did you solve it,you get the yellow gem?
ReplyDeleteThanks small-tool - got there in the end with your tip.
ReplyDeletePuffin, consecutive numbers may not be next to each other
ReplyDeleteYep, it was like that.
ReplyDeleteSo for example start with 3, 5 on top and middle row the left one a 7.
Lol, thanks Hotzenplotz "consecutive" was the word I was looking for :)
ReplyDeleteTake this: 3x8 is 24,24+6 gives 30 in the middle,do the same with the other two
ReplyDeleteWell, only the maths puzzle left and missing one piece for the last room and therefor probably missing one gem.
ReplyDeletesmall-tool,how to solve the colored grid?
ReplyDeletehehe small-tool, thanks to google
ReplyDeleteDazz ley,
ReplyDeleteClick two the same colours to get rid of them. But... only when they can reach other. So next to each other or on the same row or column with nothing in between or.... going around 'one' corner.
Dszz ley - the colours have to either next to each other or have a clear path between them - i.e. you've cleared the other blocks between them. The path can be straight or L shaped only.
ReplyDeleteWell, no idea for the maths puzzle. Tried to do it like a Sudoku, but doesn't work :(
ReplyDeleteSo, I need one triangle shape for last room, one gem for middle room. Haven't solved 'MATHS' puzzle.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 switches don't seem to do anything. Have I missed something?
Same place Smarties.
ReplyDeleteBtw, the 3 switches opened the place for the shapes.
god it takes quit time to solve that bridge number
ReplyDeletemaybe we need some anagrams for maths-puzzle, but don't know...
ReplyDeleteThnx guys
ReplyDeleteSo far it was a good game, but I don't see any hints at all for the maths puzzle.
ReplyDeletefor MATHS-puzzle: in every column and line (and diagonal) should just be one of each letter
ReplyDeleteThe slider puzzle didn't quite have me reaching for a drink but I think this MATHS one might...
ReplyDeleteThanks for tip Hotzenplotz.
Got it.
ReplyDeleteIf it helps any, the bottom line is ***thsma"""
I can't see the other lines anymore as it's opened.
Ah thanks Hotzenplotz :)
ReplyDeleteAlready tried Sudoku like, but forgot about diagonals.

Arrrgh! I can't make the T. Well I can, but it's obviously not perfect enough for this game.
ReplyDeleteFinally got it. Very pedantic.
ReplyDeleteAnd out. Thanks for the help on here.
ReplyDeleteYep, good game, good teamwork :)
ReplyDeleteI did the MATHS puzzle exactly as Hotzenplotz spoiled above and nothing happens, I even started over and tried it first and it still doesn't work. Is there a clue I need to see first maybe?
ReplyDeleteit was the same for me, then I tried hint from
ReplyDelete@smarties 12/3/14, 9:09 AM
(exchanged some lines)
then it worked
Okay, got it now, thanks Alpha... so obviously they didn't account for all the possibilities.

ReplyDeleteThat would be a rare five-star game if the MATHS puzzle accepted all valid answers. The puzzle with the numbers and bridges is called HASHI, there are free online daily puzzles of it.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best games of puzzles in years.

What to do with the 'MATHS' puzzle?
ReplyDeletestill fighting with the T shape...
ReplyDelete(seems I'm out of shape today LOL)

ReplyDelete@Hotzenplotz gave a good hint at 12/3/14, 9:04 AM

ReplyDeleteI can't get "T'Shape" either. Can anyone spoil a jpg of it please?
ReplyDeleteThe long nearly-rectangular piece is the bottom of the T. The other long piece is diagonal.

You're a peach AlphaOmega (ΑΩ)! I could turn them, but didn't realize I could drag them! Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't have finished without all the spoilers and helpful comments. Thanks everyone!
ReplyDelete@EightGames, this type of game is enjoyable, however, most of the puzzles had several solutions, but you only accepted one per puzzle. Very frustrating!
Either use puzzles with one absolute solution, or allow for multiple solutions, please.
In any case, thanks for keeping us entertained.
Can someone explain the puzzle with the 3 and the 8 a little more?
ReplyDeletePop!
ReplyDeleteMagda,
ReplyDeleteAll 8 numbers have to be in the grid. But in such a way no consecutive numbers touch. Not in a row, not in a column and not diagonal.
So, for example, no 2 and 4 next to the 3.
The T was too picky, they should have used a different puzzle than the "MATHS" one, and I got lucky with the slider and didn't end up with 2 numbers swapped, so generally a fun game but not excellent.
