  3. Thanks Yvon - was just wondering how to look at the bit of paper.

    ReplyDelete
  4. still stuck here. Trying to combine note with book. It's not 2,12,4,1,10 or 2,12,4,9

    ReplyDelete
  5. I haven't a clue what to do, so no help from me! Have looked carefully at lots of things but can only take the paper and don't know what to do with it. I thought I made out X IV X on it, but even if I'm right, don't know what to do with that info.

  6. have a good look at back wheel of bike

    ReplyDelete
  7. Oh, and the clock is telling the real time.

    ReplyDelete
  8. also on top of mandolin

    ReplyDelete
  9. more the pedestal than the back wheel

  10. There's a letter K under one of the cans in the fridge.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks AO. Having more joy now I've increased the screen size and am hitting some more pixels. Didn't know we could zoom in 4x4 grid on bottom drawer.

    ReplyDelete
  12. There's a clue and key right of shelves near bike.

    ReplyDelete
  13. you can turn thing from mandolin, number on back?

    ReplyDelete
  14. also note can be turned around, but nothing on back

    ReplyDelete
  15. thx Andrew

now K on can in fridge makes more sense with the hint paper from locked drawer (not that I know what to do right now lol)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Turn off light and flip note by window.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thanks. 5th go of trying key, can open the top drawer. Got a clue for hearts, diamonds etc.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Which note Andrew? I've tried both but they don't stay by the window.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh I see. Open it in inventory when in front of window with light off. Flip it over to see the roman numerals.
    Thanks again!

  20. nice find Andrew

    smarties
    do about item

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hmmm, but the roman numerals are far from clear...
    14 4 3 1 isn't working.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Is it
    11 5 4 3 1??

    someone please spoil it ...:(

    ReplyDelete
  23. Think I'll come back later. Was looking for a nice and easy game that required no thinking!

    ReplyDelete
  24. use numbers from both sites. First you see from note, then the numbers from moonlight.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Arggh!
Crappy pixel hunt, plus impossible to read roman numeral clue.
I am leaving before a language barrier rears its ugly head.
    Waste of time.

  26. Good find Yvon, but I can't combine the two screwdriver bits :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. same problem over here

    ReplyDelete

  30. Btw. you can use the pick on the mandolin as well. 4 different notes, but no idea what for.

    ReplyDelete
  35. my game is getting buggy :(
    problem with dragging things...........

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks ΑΩ for the spoiler... now I can not make a screwdriver.... with that red thing and spike from bicycle.... really buggy game :(

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm getting no where with the grid drawer. If you number the squares L to R from 1 to 16, then press the numbers from the clue, should it open? What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  38. have a look in book on desk for numbering squares

  40. For the desperate folks (I don't consider this a "spoiler")

    .7 .4 .2 .1
    11 .8 .5 .3
    14 12 .9 .6
    16 15 13 10

Then use numbers from clue paper.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Haah...I'm sure that the clubs sign too (upper side of small shelf, you can see it when you pick up the key) stands for a number. Something with a 3 inside I would say...

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think clubs is 7, diamonds K and hearts 10 (or 10 and 3). Didn't see spades, but not being able to make the screwdriver is the main problem I think.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Put the screwdriver part in the freezer. Walk around for a while. take it out and mount it with the handle.

  45. well done Slingshot!!
I bet the Japanese text says something that it's too thick by the fraction of an inch and freezing them will cause it to shrink minimally...

    ReplyDelete
  46. Great find, Slingshot, thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. ...however it seems to have to remain inside there for QUITE awhile, since you can remove it prematurely and you still won't be able to fit it into the handle...!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, looking at the new grid now (by removing the panel above the bed), but no idea what spades is and how to use K for diamonds as digit.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The spade are at a dark place...
    The diamond is a king..

    ReplyDelete
  50. King is 13 (10, J , Q, K)
Look for spade under bed after removing panel...

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thanks guys :)
    Finally escaped through the window.

  52. just a couple of notes that might save some frustration:
1.To place the metal screwdriver in the freezer, you first must drag the handle to About Item and try to attach the metal part. Only then will the metal part go in freezer.
    2. Once the metal part is in the freezer, you must look at the clock. I looked once, then went around the room, then looked again
    3. If you can't find the right pixel to get the metal sd part from the bike pedestal, restart the game. Once I did that, I clicked right on it.
Fussy little game, but ultimately solvable (thanks to all the hints from players above).
