  1. I really HATE the backpack for the inventory.

  2. Hang on, let me get in and see how it works.

  3. There is a glitch in the last room. You touch the pedestals and frogs appear and give you hints for the fill in letters. However, that won't work until you actually FIND the frogs in another room. Then you are supposed to use them and it works.

  4. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still on the second room.

The backpack is no worse than Selfdefiant's. Just an extra step.

  5. Wow, I'm seriously sucking at this one. Should have drunk the beer instead of placing it on the button ;) All I have is two switches and no clues for anything else.

  6. It took the video wt to show me that the green bars on the wall were the clue for the sliders in the room next to it. Doing a little better now.

  7. I am still in first scene with guitar and to the right is code cupboard and three shelves with letters to click, no idea what to do

  8. TWO bottles of beer in one game!

DKat, go l/r from top line to bottom. a-d-d… etc. Ignore dots.

  9. The numbers and letters in the rooms are a hint for a word in the right room in scene #3 from the beginning (where you are supposed to put six flowers on the wall)

  10. WTG Oldmaiden! Now you're famous, too.

  11. I have the clue for the switches (dials?), but only have two of them...

    ReplyDelete
  12. That's right, Lurker!!! Congrats, Oldmainden!!! Autograph, please!!

  13. And vkacademy was right about the frog thing. Smarties gets immortalized eventually.

  14. You get two switches at the same time. Don't remember which safe, but it involves a key.

  15. finall figut=red out how to open that paper in inventory to use for abcd code

  16. Oh, and I was searching everywhere for somewhere to use the crowbar. 1st room, floor below guitar.

  17. Found knife from color buttons...use on flower picture...

  18. Not sure why we had to free the mouse, when he could just walk through the gaping hole in his cage.

  19. Water jug from flower scene...water plants in first scene, right room...

  20. Two more switches after placing flowers...

  23. Oh no, I hate that backpack setup too. Please noooo, Games 4 King!

  24. What do I do with that last beer?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I agree about the backpack. I like the inventory where you can see everything at once, but this was still a very fun game!

    ReplyDelete
  26. The difference between this backpack and SD's is that SD's inventory grid disappears after you select something. Having to close this box was annoying. Also, having similar keys and papers all over the place got tedious. The puzzles themselves were fine.

  27. Anyone having trouble with the music paper....start with A on the left, then D on the right, than D on the left, etc....spoiler below:

    A, D, D, B, B, C, C, A

  28. Agree, Lurker...and looking at the clue papers took several steps...pick up paper...open inventory....choose clue paper...click on clue paper to open it...close clue paper hint...quite a lot of steps just to look at a clue...

  29. Dear G4K,

Great game, as always. However, the new inventory was less than awesome. The whole process of click the backpack, click the item, close backpack, click item to see clue was very tedious. If you have more than one key in inventory, then you have to follow the process until you find the right key. The old way is better.

  30. Love it. Thanks G4K. I had to restart my computer to make sure I was seeing Oldmaiden. Funny because old was underlined.

  31. Thanks Zoe. I think G4K likes us girls !!!

  32. This is a tough little one. I just got my first beer.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So funny about the thirsty mouse Zoe. Great game G4K. I have to say I am also one that didn't care for the backpack for inventory, but you are the game designers. I can't wait for the blinking eyes to come back !!

  34. oh how sweet.....the little mouse got the reward for all my hard work!!!! So many famous people! I thought I'd get through without looking at any hints but not so...totally forgot about that little circle by the guitar!!! Thanks for the hints!!! Love these games!

  35. You have a good sense of humor, Games 4 King! And it's nice to see familiar names in your games! They deserve credit for all the help they give the rest of us! Again, high marks to you!!

  36. I really like Games 4 King games, they are like... tranquillizing, but couldn't play this one, it made me more nervous. Please, tell me, that this backpack inventory is a temporary solution, not the future of G4K games!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Love Games 4 King games, but I really hate the backpack inventory. Please don't make this a permanent change.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Love the music! Game was good, although I was able to brute-force the color sequence for the frogs so didn't need the crowbar. I agree about the backpack; causes waay too much clicking. At least you have hotspots.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I too say"nice Game", but, loss
of points on the new inventory.

Go back to it being a banner on
    side, top, bottom, whatever!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yep, I'll join the bandwagon regarding the "backpack" inventory. Bad idea. Makes me NOT want to play your games.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Never used the crowbar and still got out. My frogs appeared on the pedestals before I had found them in the puzzle safe.

    ReplyDelete
  42. not bad, keep having to close the bag got very tedious

    ReplyDelete
  43. loved the game as usual
    Hated the new backpack
    Whats the point
    The old inventory worked well

    ReplyDelete
  44. LOVED the frog clue! x

    ReplyDelete
  45. G4K....this is some kind of Music! Love it!!! Missed the Live sorry out of town last night...But going to enjoy it now! Thank you!! Hey miss you all last night! See you next time!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I would never have thought to give that poor little mouse that beer...Lurker I agree with you we should have drank it ourselves!! And please don't use the backpack inventory. (please) Kudos to OldMaiden and to Smarties! Nice job on this game G4K and obviously I love Jazz!!! Thank you so much for another yet another brilliant game!!
